Indian tv puts up some seriously retarded stuff for its viewers , one of such shows which I had the misfortune to see is "Main Kab Saans Banoongi" which airs on "Sab TV" produced by none other than operation cobra herself Deepti Bhatnagar. I was surfing channels & came across this show & there was Ambika (Sonia in the show) who had one of the most amazing figures peeking out of the saree & wasnt shy of showing it either.
A talented actress as well , hopefully she does the right roles , Ambikas interview on tellychakkar Expect more of her here in the comming weeks.

A few captures of Hera Pheri , Hera Pheri is one of the funniest movies of Mr Bachchan & is a must see if you are a fan of his, its also a must see if you are a fan of Saira Banu as she has looked extremely sexy & exposed like none other in that era , this movie came in around 1976 & a much married Saira (married Dilip Kumar in 1966) boldly wore clothes that would make celina jaitley cringe (er ..well perhaps not her :P) The camera too lingers on a higher than normal angle completely justifying the dress (kudos to Prakash Mehra for this one)

Caught Saumya Tandon yet again on Zee Tv's Dance India Dance and she looks desperately in need of some good nutrition. While to some Saumya's navel baring saree might look sexy, for me it is just plain wrong. Thin is being promoted very stongly in india of late with women losing their figures to become ultra thin, indian women traditionally border on the plumpier side & dare i say they look amazing at that, becoming kareenaesque thin simply isnt the way to go.

A 16 yr old hazel eyed peaches & cream complexioned Mandakini captured the fancy of the nation with Raj Kapoor's Ram Teri Ganga Maili hogayi. It created huge amount of uproar for the contoversial scenes which included a breast feeding scene & a bathing under waterfall scene where she was in sheer transparent clothing. We can only speculate whether she was aware of what she was doing ( as matured as a sixteen year old girl can be) Born of a English father & a muslim mather Yasmeen Joseph apparently came from very humble beginnings before being discovered by Raj Kapoor.
There have been many rumours doing the rounds of her being involved / married to the dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim which Mandakini has always denied.
Mandakini could never be the top actress that she had shown so much promise of with her first movie, but she will always be remembered in Bollywood.

Another one from the bgrade archives. Such movies were quite a common feature in the 90's , movies based on domestic family issues starring lesser known actors. This one is directed by the father in law of Rakesh Roshan "J. Om Prakash" - Son in law Roshan seems to have picked up the lucky alphabet to start movie name trend (Roshan's movies have been with the letter K) from his father in law whose almost every movie has started with the letter A.

This movie actually did get a bit known back in the 90's as it featured a couple of 'kissing sequences' which was quite rare for the 90's. Most of the smooching sequences back then were cheat kisses , so when a real one came about people took notice.

Nothing is known about the actress Neelima while the actor Suraj Chaddha has starred in blockbusters such as Aaj Ka Samson (1991) & Khooni Murdaa (1989)

Kurosawa take a bow , Khotay Sikkay while might just be a desiized ripoff of Shichinin no samurai's rip off of sholay , it also brings in "The Dark Knight" element in play much before Christopher Nolan thought of it. The Dark knight here is played by the daring & dashing feroz khan himself, who mysteriously appears wherever there is trouble ,beats up the bad guys, bullets dont hurt him & saves thee day in the end.

The movie has ample amount of skin show as well to be presented here ...

Starting off with "Alka" who last name is kept mysteriously a deep dark secret. She truly is the dare bare girl of this movie ...something which might even put celina jaitley to shame ...er celina.. perhaps not quite.

There is something about this girl from pune who was crowned pantaloon's femina miss india world 2009. Apart from winning the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World, 2009 title, the Pune girl also won Femina Miss Beautiful Smile and Talwalkar's Femina Miss Beautiful Body. I feel she has a great shot at the Miss World 2009 contest.

Vidya Balan has done good for himself inspite of getting into the industry at quite a later age for a conventional heroine, she perhaps missed out on the commercial running around trees song & dance routines age (although she did try that in kismat konnection with shahid kapoor looking quite ackward) While most of the mainstream heroines start on taking those arty film roles as soon as they start aging - tabu , urmila, preeti ..vidya started off her career with such roles & perhaps has established her as a serious actress quite sooner than what even she expected after being just a small tv star at one point of time.
