If Sunday times allegations are true then it is going to shake the Indian Cricket from top to bottom. As per Sunday Times story Nupur Mehta was used as honey trap by bookmakers to pass money to Cricketers after seducing them to fix match.

The newspaper also claims that the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 semi final match between India and Pakistan was fixed. Nupur Mehta was involved in seducing Pakistani Cricketers to throw away match.

Nupur Mehta denies all allegations and she is shocked why she is being dragged into such baseless story. She defends herself by saying that she doesn’t know any Cricketer and have never met any Cricketer either in India or in England. She has threatened to sue Sunday Times over false story and publishing her photo with story without her permissions.

ICC and BCCI has refused to investigate the match fixing matters.

The Sunday Times has added more fuel to the story by stating that they are ready to submit evidence to the ICC.

At this stage no one knows what is going one. But looking at the Cricket match fixing scandals it doesn’t seem to be shocking to hear that such an important match was fixed.

He has replaced Sunny with Nathalia Kaur, the Brazilian model. But he has qualms for not having Sunny Leone on his side. He alleges Bhatts and their contract for restraining Sunny.

The item song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya is shot now. Nathalia has shaken legs with Sanjay Dutt in the song. The filmmaker informs that ‘Department’ is ‘based on international terrorism and the treatment of the subject will be on the lines of Steven Spielberg’s Munich.’

Ramu says, “I actually wanted Sunny Leone for the item song in Department. I’m a big fan of hers. But she has a contract with Mahesh, Mukesh and Pooja Bhatt. So I was denied access to her.”

He also says that he doesn’t believe in contracts and has not bound Kaur also. “I don’t believe in contracts, exclusive or otherwise. I leave that to other production houses who are scared of losing their discoveries. Whether it is Sunny Leone or Nathalia Kaur, you can’t keep them fastened to the pillar in your backyard hoping no one would steal them.”

Karisma Kapoor's Dangerous Ishq goes to the Cannes

This is something really exciting for Karsima Kapoor and Vikram Bhatt. The movie is turning out to be bigger than they must have expected. It has recently been revealed that Karisma Kapoor will be walking the Red Carpet of Cannes Film Festival. Not only this the more exciting news is that Dangerous Ishq will be showcased in the festival along with giving a strict competition to other movies across the world. This coveted film festival is to be held during 16th to 27th May this year.

A source from the industry says, “The film has shaped up brilliantly and now the makers are confident enough to take the film to an international platform. Everyone around Karisma feels that ‘Dangerous Ishq’ deserves to be not just screened at Cannes but also compete with other international films. Plans are already been put into place for the film’s showcase there.”

Well, this is not the first film to reach Cannes. Even earlier there had been entries from our Bollywood. But this one is special for Vikram and Lolo. On one hand where Aishwarya and Sonam Kapoor are regular ones to the Cannes, Kareena missed it last year due to her busy shoot schedules. Nevertheless, Karisma will make up this year by attending the festival with her movie.

The same source adds, “Though it was earlier being contemplated that ‘Dangerous Ishq’ would be premiered at Cannes, just like Kareena’s ‘Omkara’ had in 2006, the plans were dropped since the film’s release in India would then have been extremely close to the IPL finals. The makers didn’t want to take any risk and hence decided to bring it on 11th May itself. However it has made it to the competition and would now be showcased in Cannes after its worldwide release.”

Rumi Jafry arranged special screening of Gali Gali Chor Hai for social activist Anna Hazare in his village Ralegan Siddhi along with the villagers.

The stars of the film, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Mugdha Godse and Annu Kapoor, were also present at the screening. This screening was held on Tuesday night. The corruption based movie is slated for 3rd February release.

A specially crafted LED wall screen was arranged for Anna in an open auditorium. Anna greeted and welcomed the film members to his village. After watching the film he was all happy to see it. He appreciated the efforts of the cast and crew.

Anna said, “It supports my message and movement. Every youth, every child, all age people in India should watch this film as it motivates the depth of being a common man and it motivates every individual to be a good citizen and have a corruption-free country. This Republic Day, every Indian should be corruption-free from within first, and then work towards fighting corruption.”

Producer Manmohan sees it as an emotional moment when he showcased the film for villagers. Manmohan said, “This was the best premiere I could ever imagine for my film, showcasing it to the right audience. I experienced the audience watching, laughing, smiling, crying along with my film. I was thrilled to see Anna`s reactions watching my film. Two thousand villagers stood up and clapped and that was my reward.”

For Rumi Jafry, it was a proud moment when Anna watched his film. Rumy said, “I was sitting next to Anna and every gesture and expression was making me feel happy…when he was laughing, clapping…those were my best memories, and experiencing it live sitting along with him, it was a proud feeling.”

To make the film unique and interesting what all goes in? One major trait is the shooting at scenic locales. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one such filmmaker who is fully aware of this fact. The producer had thus decided to shoot picturesque locations of Hampi in his forthcoming flick Rowdy Rathore.

Starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, Rowdy Rathore is making waves around much ahead of its release. Now with shifting the shoot schedule to Hampi will certainly be an icing on the cake. The shooting, which is to commence from today onwards, will center on the historical town of Hampi and Badami.

By shooting at these places, these towns may witness a tourism boost. It is like a give and take system where shooting permission has been granted to promote tourism at these scenic places.

A source from the unit of the film says, “The officials of Hampi and Badami gave special permission to Sanjay to shoot Rowdy Rathore. They need tourism, and that will help its financial condition. It’s a neat barter system.”
Surprisingly enough it was Akki’s idea that led to this deal. We must say Akshay that is a smart move.

A crew member informs, “Akshay was the one who thought up this marketing move. Everybody else was also very supportive of it. It’s a win-win situation and should work out for all of us.”

This famous south Indian actress Shriya Saran is making her Bollywood debut with Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai opposite Akshaye Khanna where she plays his wife.

Akshaye Khanna is the victim of vicious game of politics and corruption in the film. Shriya Saran plays his wife and Mugdha Godse is the call center employee. Shirya shares, “I think it is something we all need to come together and change the system and ensure it is corrupt-free nation”.
