Boomer and Carton broadcasted live in Baltic Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun golf course for Johnny Damon's golf classic, which raises money for the Johnny Damon Foundation, with its New York vs Boston theme. The morning began with a bang as the fellas discussed the Caremlo Anthony saga, what the hold up in the deal is and what the finished deal might ultimately look like. Even with a light day in sporting news, the guys still had plenty to talk about with the upcoming Mayweather/McGregor fight providing plenty of chatter.

Craig would later go on to discussing some of the changes A-rod wants to make to the MLB and that inspires Captain Chaos to share one of his ideas for baseball--which would liken it to kickball, just a bit. This all led to some more ideas from Craig about other changes that can be made around the sports landscape. There was also a handful of conversations regarding some interesting comments made by multiple players in the NFL, including two from the NFC east. Jerry Recco entered a studio with former NFL QBs who have combined for two Super Bowl wins and an MVP award and the "update maven" more than held his own. Jerry had all the details of a good night for both local baseball teams.

The Yankees beat up on the hapless White Sox and Masahiro Tanaka looked good for the second start in a row. Plus, Aaron Judge hit another HR because that's what he does.

The Mets shutout the Marlins behind a strong start from Steven Matz, who gave the team seven innings. Meanwhile, Curtis Granderson and Asdrubal Cabrera both stayed hot at the plate with a HR apiece.

Finally, the crew gave their reaction to a big trade in the NBA that sent Chris Paul to Houston. Paul will team up with James Harden for coach Mike D'Antoni's squad. Could Carmelo Anthony be on his way to Texas too?

The two-time Super Bowl winner is slated to join Boomer in the studio for The NFL Today this upcoming football season and the two friends shared their excitement to work together, then wondered how long it will take to get sick of each other.

Boomer asked Phil about transitioning from the booth to the studio and his thoughts on his replacement, former Cowboys QB Tony Romo. WFAN celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special day of shows at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal. Plenty of special guests stopped by to celebrate the occasion, including current and former New York athletes as well as folks who work or have worked at WFAN in the past.

Boomer and Craig also talked about Phil Jackson's Wednesday night interview and wondered what the future holds for Kristaps Porzingis on the morning of the draft. Plus, the Yankees stopped a seven-game losing streak and the Mets kept on losing in ugly fashion out in Los Angeles.

Boomer & Craig were back together Wednesday morning and instead of having baseball on their collective minds, it was the Knicks, as rumors are flying that they are willing to part ways with Kristaps Porzingis. Let the games begin. The guys discussed this latest development in the dysfunctional basketball world that the Knicks have cultivated, Boomer suggesting that perhaps Porzingis' behavior and attitude is too blame and that the Knicks might be best suited to see what they can get. Craig isn't ready to give up on KP just yet, partly because he is not all that comfortable with those responsible for making such a trade - here's lookin' at you Phil Jackson.

With Boomer off doing Boomer stuff Tuesday, it was up the Craig's old friend Chris Christie, to hold down the reigns in the Investors Bank Studio. The discussion got started with the Mets, after they fell behind early to Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers and eventually lost 10-6, out in LA. Like Boomer, the Governor is also a Mets fan, while Craig - who was once loyal to the Amazins' - seems to revel in their misery. Craig also called his buddy out for, 'jinxing' the Yankees last Monday, when he was sitting in for the Blonde Bomber and the guys discussed the real possibility of a party, this August 26th at Drumthwacket - which is the official residence of the NJ Governor - for the highly anticipated Mayweather-McGregor fight. Add in a little Fantasy Football talk and all-in-all, we had a pretty well-rounded show open for your consumption.

Boomer and Craig were locked, loaded and ready to go on a feel-good Friday morning. The Mets and Yankees weren't feeling too great after both teams lost their Thursday games and a few players to injury, but that didn't ruin the guys' moods.

Craig shared a theory on Matt Harvey's injury and then went off on many different topics, including the Bill Cosby case, Eli Manning, blimps and a wager on who will make the most mistakes the rest of the show. This is what can happen when Craig shows up to work three hours early.

All of that and more got the boys started on the last Friday before the official start of summer.

This Tuesday started off with a bang as Craig was a little late and Boomer wasn't in. Which only meant one thing, Governor Chris Christie, Jerry and Al got a chance to set the scene for the day's show. Of course, that would include plenty of jokes geared at Craig for his late arrival. Because of this, the show received a couple phone calls from some familiar voices. New York baseball still got plenty of attention however, as the temperature begins to heat up, so do the Mets and Yankees. Both teams coming off big wins, as the Yankees were propelled to a victory by ANOTHER Aaron Judge Home Run, while on the west coast playing the Angels. The Mets were also able to lock down another victory as Jacob Degrom powered the team to a win over John Lackey and the Cubs. The guys would also go on to touch upon the NBA finals including some interesting comments by Lebron James. Until tomorrow morning at 6 a.m., when the guys make their return to the airwaves, stay classy New York!!!
