Lunar Eclipse – Mars and Saturn – Travel Turbulence
There’s plenty of stellar activity with profound astrological significance stirring up our lives now. After having experienced the Annular Solar Eclipse of May 20 (can’t believe it’s already come and gone) we are now barrelling towards a partial eclipse of the Moon on June 4. It will happen in the morning in North America whereas in Australia and Asia it will be an evening event.

Lunar eclipses give the Full Moon extra punch. They become more significant and powerful as relates to our human experience. Furthermore, the Moon will be very close to perigee (near monthly approach to Earth). The confluence of these two events will affect us very deeply.

The Moon will be in Scorpio which will stir up deeply buried emotional issues for you. It’ll have a cathartic effect and get things out in the open. Scorpio rules debt, so we can also expect the world global financial crisis to be inflamed.

Moon is between Mars and Saturn
The Moon is bulging and growing beyond a semi-circle. It looks like the satisfied stomach of a laughing Buddha at the moment. Have a look tonight. After the skies darken you’ll see it with brownish Saturn nearby. Yesterday, it drifted past rusty Mars.

Mercury enters Choppy Waters
Mars is forming a square (90-degree angle) to Mercury. Mercury governs the flow of life; that is, how we get from point A to point B. Square alignments from Mars will disrupt the flow causing traffic hold ups, transportation and travel problems. The Air Canada jet whose engine shut down spitting out debris on Toronto a couple of days ago was linked to this alignment.

Be patient today. This alignment can cause tempers to flare, so watch out for road rage and hot tempers. This has been building up over the past few days. If you encounter idiotic behaviour in other drivers or people who obstruct you as you walk down the street, be philosophical. Hone your comedic skills and see the funny side of life.

Asteroid flybys – Earthquakes in Northern Italy – Turtle Doves
Two small asteroids zipped close by Earth in back-to-back flybys on Monday and Tuesday. Asteroid 2012KP24 zoomed by Earth on Monday, coming within 32,000miles (51,000) kilometers.

Another small asteroid, called 2012KT42, flew past Earth early Tuesday and came within 8,950 miles (14,400km) which easily fits between the Earth and the moon’s orbit.

The Moon typically circles Earth at a distance of about 420,000 miles (386,000 km).

Today’s space rock was only discovered yesterday. Fortunately, it didn’t pose any impact threat when it made its closest approach at 3:07am ET. It was only about 16 feet (5m) wide, which means it would not have pack much of a punch even if it did make a direct hit, according to NASA.

The apparent increased frequency of asteroids whizzing by just seems to add more fuel to the notion that our time-space continuum is rattling and shaking.

When asteroids shoot by like that, the effect is much like skimming a pebble across the surface of water. Waves ripple over our time-space continuum.

Earthquakes in Northern Italy
The tectonic plates are reflecting this too. Another earthquake struck northern Italy, this morning killing at least 15 people and injuring 200 others. It caused panic among residents living in tents after the earthquake on May 20. The number of people made homeless has now gone up from 6,000 to 14,000.

Turtle Doves
In the early days of 2011, the strange phenomenon of mass bird and fish deaths were reported all around the world. Cavalcades of dead birds and fish from Arkansas and Texas to Brazil to Sweden and New Zealand caused great concern.

Regular readers of this column will recall that we’ve linked them to tornadoes, flooding, tsunamis, volcanic activity and earthquakes that affected those geographic areas.

Some of you may be saying, “Ah yes, but reports of mass bird deaths was also reported in northern Italy.” And you’re right. Thanks for bringing that up. For several days leading up to 7 Jan 2011, wildlife experts and officers from the forestry commission in Italy picked up more than 1,000 turtle doves as well as other birds including pigeons.

I always wondered about all those poor turtle doves that died and what that could have meant. It’s so obvious that Nature is always sending us messages. And now it’s finally making sense. The mass bird incident in Italy took place in the town of Faenza which is very close to these recent earthquakes.

There is a sense that the tremors in Italy are not over. Tension in the tectonic plates will continue to build as the Earth prepares to make a huge shift with the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar so near.

I’m certainly not saying the world is going to end; but instead feel that a new world is approaching that will bring a glorious age of enlightenment. Let’s hang in there!

First Quarter Moon – Flowers & Blossoms
The First Quarter Moon is here. This is when the Moon appears as a right-sided illuminated semi-circle. It’s called a quarter and not a half because it is one-quarter of the way around in its orbit of Earth. The starting point is the New Moon when our night luminary passes between us and the Sun.

The First Quarter Moon marks the departure from the Crescent stage and its entry into the Gibbous stage when it balloons in size beyond half.

The New Moon is when the seeds are planted. The First Quarter is when those seeds sprout. You can also think of it as the flowering stage. It’s when your fruit tree bursts with blossoms.

The Moon will continue to wax and breathe in up to the Full Moon of this coming Monday June 4. The Full Moon will bring the crescendo. Keep your spirits up. Keep hope alive. And the Universe will protect you.

Mercury is Sending Back a Message
Mercury/Hermes is your personal representative; your agent; your spin doctor. He connects you with success and the manifestation of your dreams.

Mercury has now reached a crucial all-important point in its cycle. He’s approaching the far side of the Sun. Facebook and the Venus retrograde
The Facebook flotation just keeps on getting more complex. Its founder Mark Zuckerberg and the banks leading its flotation are being sued by disgruntled shareholders. A writ alleges that Facebook’s revised growth figures were not disclosed to all investors.

After a lengthy buildup of expectations, Facebook went public on Friday, selling 421 million shares to raise $16 billion in the country’s second-largest IPO ever.

Hopes of turning quick and easy profits on the shares were dashed when the shares plunged 18 percent after the first three trading sessions hit by heavy institutional selling exacerbated by glitches in Nasdaq’s system, that fouled up orders for millions of shares.

This all goes to show you what happens when you launch something that big during a Venus retrograde. It’s going to take a while to sort this one out. I suppose though, it was just meant to be as everything is in life. The Facebook flotation is another example of the bizarre rattling effect on our time-space continuum that is becoming more pronounced.

Strange things just keep on happening. There are reports of boats colliding at sea, planes colliding in mid-air and trains crashing head-on. One of the latest bizarre incidents is the case of a man who jumped into Niagara Falls on the Canadian side and managed to live through his attempted suicide. He was winched out of the water downstream from the Falls. It obviously wasn’t his time to depart this world.

Crescent Waxing Moon
If you’ve looked towards the western sky after sunset, you’ll see Venus sinking down lower towards the horizon and a beautiful sliver of a crescent Moon floating upwards. Do have a look tonight. It’s a wonderful inspiring sight. Make your wishes as you gaze into the Moon’s light.

Solar Eclipse and Quakes
The Annular Solar Eclipse has passed, but it’s not gone. It’s conjunction with the Pleiades – The Rattler – as the Mayans called it has given the Earth’s tectonic plates a good shake right on cue.

As we uncover the significance of the Pleiades star cluster anticipate increased seismic activities in the form of quakes and volcanic eruptions.

On Sat May 19 Chile got knocked by a 5.9.

On Sun May 20, early in the day, northern Italy rocked with a magnitude 6.0 killer quake that caused extensive damage. Aftershocks continue.

Then not long after, Honshu, Island in Japan near Fukushima, the site of the big earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2012 was struck by a 6.4-mag quake. That area has not stopped rocking since the big quake. It averages about 2 or 3 quakes a day of around 5.0 mag.

The latest 6.4 quake was big one that has set off another rapid fire swarm of quakes around 5.0 mag mark. Nine tremors over 4.5-mag quakes hit there yesterday.

I’m discovering certain trigger points that appear to be linked to quakes. I’ll let you know as they come up. There are a lot of variables, that make it difficult to be totally precise, but there are definitely some celestial markers emerging that warn of tremors.

New Moon
So, with that Solar Eclipse, we have a New Moon and the start of another 29.5-day lunar month. The shadowy snake that slithers down the Kukulkan Pyramid of Chichen Itza flicked its rattler tale tale upwards towards the Pleiades on the weekend.

We’ve now entered a period of even faster moving time that will bring a flurry of rapid world events and developments. Let’s watch how it develops.

For you though, this is potentially an excellent time to make rapid progress with your plans.

And the Sun has now entered the mutable sign of Gemini. The fixed sign of Aries marked the start of the spring on March 20. The fixed sign of Taurus moved us into the heart and soul of spring on April 19. And now, Gemini, will take through the transition from spring to summer.

Flowers and blossoms are in full bloom. Leaves are bursting into life. Trees are basking in the warmth of sunshine and thirstily drinking up precious drops of rain. Summer approaches.
