So let’s get to it!

So we are gonna start out with this first treat. Now, it is made with all natural ingredients that are safe for dogs but just note that you know your pet better than I do, so just feed your pet accordingly, but Ginger will pretty much eat anything. And don’t worry, if you do have a cat, I’ve got one treat that's perfect for a cat at the end.

So the first frozen treat we are going to make are some of Ginger’s favorite

Homemade Dog Treat Recipe no 1

Ingredients:- peanut butter, banana and yogurt.

So into a little bowl, we’re gonna mashup some banana. Do you like bananas? Now bananas are really good for dogs cause they're full of potassium. All you want to do is mash up your banana, nice and small ‘cause you don't want to give them too big a piece, because they're only small, little guys. So just mash it up with a fork. So the dog treats that we’re going to make are made like I said with all natural ingredients, and stuff you probably will have around the house, so they're really easy to make for your pet. Now, next up, this is Gingers absolute favorite.

A little bit of peanut butter. She loves peanut butter. Usually I put it in his Kong and I freeze it. So one note about the peanut butter, you wanna make sure that it is unsalted, and it doesn't contain xylitol because doggies don't like that. And Ginger just licked my whole arm with his peanut buttery tongue.

There you go, that's lovely. Okay, our next ingredient is yogurt. The one thing about the yogurt is that it’s full of protein and it’s really good for dogs’ digestive systems. You want to make sure that it is unsweetened, that it doesn't have any kind of flavor, or anything like that in it, it’s full of probiotics as well. So just pour that in there, and then we’re just gonna ahead and mix them all together.

Ginger, you’re not eating them yet! So Gingers is a Labrador Retriever, She is 8 years old, and She's going to be a good girl, and So now with my free hand, I'm going to fill up my mold. but you can also use like an ice tray, or little cups, anything like that you can freeze it in, it’s perfect. Now all you want to do is spoon your mix into your molds. Without your doggy eating it. There you go. Fill them all the way to the top. Believe me, they are absolutely going to love these.

I don't know what it is about peanut butter and dogs, but they just love it. And then before you put them in the freezer, just give them a tap on the counter, and that just gets out any air bubbles, lets them settle into themselves. Lovely, that's our first treat. What did you think? Was that nice? So this is one treat, we’re gonna pop it into the freezer, it takes around 4-5 hours to freeze, not long at all actually. And you can keep it in your freezer for up to eight weeks, but I'm sure they're gonna be long gone by then.

Homemade Dog Treat Recipe no 2

Ingredients:-Strawberries,Blueberries,Yogurt

So I love this next flavor of frozen treat because all you have to do is just put a few ingredients together in your little tray and then freeze them, it’s super easy.

So here I have some strawberries, you can use fresh or frozen, just make sure that if they are frozen, there was no sugar on them, all you want to do is chop them up nice and small. You always want to give dogs little bites so nothing gets caught in their throats. Let’s just see if this is doggy-approved,what’d you think of that strawberry? You like strawberries? Yes, okay. Strawberries are going in there. So just scatter some strawberries into your tray,

And this is the perfect time for strawberries, so remember that. And if you go to a farmer’s market and you see lots for sale, and they're really cheap, I always buy them, freeze them, and then I have them for months to put in smoothies, recipes, doggie treats. So our next ingredient is one of Gingers favorites. Blueberries. Look it! Blueberries! Who loves blueberries? Strawberries and blueberries are really good for dogs because they are a nutritional powerhouse, and they also are full of antioxidants so they're really good for them and they taste good too, which is great. And then, got nice color going on in there.

Now we're just gonna take some yogurt, like I said, full of protein, calcium, and then just pour it over your other ingredients. Make sure your yogurt has no sweeteners, flavors, anything like that, just plain yogurt, I think you're really going to like it Okay, these are looking great, and like I did with the last ones, give it a tap, on the counter, get rid of any air bubbles, and then pop them into the freezer, and there you go, instant doggie treats. Is that nice? Yeah. Do you like those? She still has peanut butter on his face.

Homemade Dog/Cat Treat Recipe no 3

Ingredients:-Raspberries,Chicken stock

So now if you don’t have yogurt do not worry, you can still make dog treats. You can always just leave it out of you can make this next treat that is based on chicken stock and it’s really yummy. Ginger loves it.

So our first ingredient is some raspberries, now these have been defrosted, and I'm going to just take a fork and mash ‘em up nice and small like we did with all of our other ingredients. Now just like strawberries and blueberries, raspberries are good for dogs and they're full of antioxidants.

Now our next ingredient is chicken stock. Now you can use homemade or store-bought. Just make sure that it has no salt, or like,low-sodium. Then our it in there, mix it all together. So I put my mix into a jug and I'm just gonna go ahead and pour it into my tray. Now there is one thing about raspberries,I only put a little bit in this recipe, because a little -- like a lot of ingredients -- dogs love raspberries but just don't give them too many, so just a few in this recipe. And then also like I mentioned before, this is also a great one for cats. They’ll like it too. So everybody's happy. Does this look good? She's just waiting for the finished product. So there's you go, another easy treat, ready for the freezer.

Now I'm gonna have to go get there frozen ones, because I know that She is gonna go nuts for them. So I think I made Ginger wait long enough, and here I have some frozen bones. I'm just gonna flip them out. Oh, they look amazing! Look at that, perfect bone shape. Look at the color, it’s lovely and red,and what do you think, Ginger? Yep, doggy approved. So you saw yourself, these dog treats are really easy to make, they're inexpensive, and they're made with all-natural ingredients. And best of all, things you have at home already,so you can whip up some dog treats right now.

Health benefits of owning dogs

Health benefits of owning dogs

“The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.” M.K. style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">So now one this pandemic gets over what exactly are your plans?
So something I can suggest is adopting a pet which can help both sides !! How you might wonder?
Well, you can save a puppy's life as well as you can have good home environment!
One fine day !! This thought of getting a pet dog hits you and somehow you have succeeded in getting the most difficult person to agree on getting a pet that is your mother.
So now you're welcoming a pet dog into your family for the first time, what are the important things you need to prepare for as there are going to be drastic life changes.
You might have already ask yourself this question regarding whether I'm ready for this commitment? and if your answer which should most certainly be "yes".
For you today I'll share my tips and tricks you need to keep in mind before getting your first pet dog. Yes, you heard it right! These are the things you need to do before you get them and then there is other important stuff after you get them.
Well, now you know it going to be a hell pf a ride nut make sure you enjoy it because trust me I am a proud pet dog owner for the past 8 years and it has been one of the best decisions in my life.
So what are we waiting for let's get started!!!!

Puppy Blanket

Now, this is one of the most important things to do right away that is whenever you have decided your place from where you are going to get your pet dog make sure you go there and give the dog owner a blanket.

So you might wonder how would giving the dog owner a blanket be of any help well that's the whole trick dogs in the early stages as a puppy are all about the scent.

so you can ask the dog owner to make the puppy's mother sleep on that blanket with her puppies so this will leave the scent of her mother on the blanket and trust me you will not regret doing this. Make sure you do this least a week before you get the puppy.

Puppy proofing your house

Now the house you have been living isn't just yours anymore you are going to have a very curious baby paw running around that house very soon.

It's your job to make sure that you keep away things that are meant to be away from him.

Anything from pieces of paper or vertical blinds and long cords which he might find a chew on you don't want that to happen to speak from experience.

(Mine got chewed in the dark night she woke up and my mouse cable got her interest and bam it was into two pieces the next morning and she had her sound sleep in the corner).

Another quick reminder make sure any plants in and around your house are not poisonous to your new fur friend.

Stock up on supplies

With this, if you have to do your research with good dog food which will help in all-round development some I can suggest is (Royal Canin)this is really good dog food for puppies especially in those starting years but you don't have to buy it right away.

what you actually have to do is
Check with the dog owner on what kind of food he is being fed and get a packet of the dog food so that there is no drastic change of food if that happens your puppy might not eat right away and you can change it over two weeks by adding a small quantity of the new dog food in the old one.

Next, these are something you would need to do after your get your furry paw friend.

Early exposure

These starting stages the first weeks are very important for your puppy you need to get them exposed to things which you want them to be comfortable around.

For examples when the sleep you should keep touching them this will help them get used to human touch and they won't be waking up every two seconds on getting touched in their later life.

Next, you can do is getting them comfortable with the different sounds in your house like the tv or the vacuum cleaner again a lot of help in the future.

This is also an important stage to get your puppy used to groom and nail clipping
Another point is not giving your puppy to much freedom and how can you do that is by getting a puppy crate as dogs like closed spaces so this will make them feel like home for them.

Socializing your puppy

Now, this is something you must be very careful about if you have a walled backyard that is a good space for your puppy to develop her sense of smell and her instincts.

But do make sure you don't let her close to any other dogs until she has all her vaccines done if you don't do so there are chances of them getting contacted with deadly diseases which we most definitely don't want.

Once she is up to date with her vaccines you can take them to different places met other dogs and people so she shows no aggression to people in her later stages which is very important as aggression in dogs in later stages is a big problem.

Puppy schedule

Now even we humans as a kid want to do things at our own time but it's important we set up a schedule for our paw friend.

like the time she goes out or maybe just before sleep time, she is done with all her stuff so she can sleep sound make sure you keep them in their cages so they can get used to them as well and don't panic.

Also, keep a puppy feeding schedule in the start you might have to feed them multiple times in specific time instances so keep that in your mind.

Dog bowls these are really important to make sure you get a couple of them so can use them multiple times just in case you are too bored to clean one.

Be ready for expenses

This is the last and important point to be ready for expenses the dog vaccines she is going to get are going to be expensive so you make sure you have your funds saved up for her as these are really important for them will protect them from any possible diseases and keep her healthy.

So these were some of the most important things you should keep in mind before you get your first pet dog.

Precautions to protect your fur friend during the pandemic

Hello, everyone 👋 , it's Ginger the black lab 🐕 here !! Today I thought I might share something important 📌precautions that my hooman takes during this pandemic for me.

As well all know during this tough time precautions are of utmost importance for humans 👤 as well as for our fur friends 🐶.

So there was this misconception that your pet dogs can spread this virus but that is not true which is stated in a report by the world health organization 🌍.

But we can't deny the fact that our fur friend can very well be the carrier for these viruses 🦠 . So to protect them as well as us 🤝 lets look at some measures, we can take. ✅

Precautions are as follows:-

        1. Taking your dog on a walk

Now let's start with the important point that is going out for business (uk what I mean by business right👀) so now the frequency of going on the walk is drastically affected.

so where ever you take your dog on a walk make sure you try to take your pets to places that are regularly sanitized by the local authorities.

How this helps you may ask well as I said above your pets can be the carrier so by doing the above precaution you can avoid the virus from sticking to their paws 🐾.

         2. Avoid your dog from touching the surfaces.

Now the second thing to keep in mind is to keep an eye 👁 on your dog to make sure they are not rubbing themselves against any surface tough the chances are low to get the virus stuck in their fur.

This is very essential for a dog owner with dogs who have the habit of rubbing their body against the wall so I included this precaution.

3. Be aware of what they are sniffing

This one is a bit important as most of us use our phones 📱 while we walk our dog 🐕 so even if you do so be aware of what they are sniffing.

As there are a lot of use and throw gloves 🧤 and mask 😷 being bought during these times I recommend you to keep an eye on your dog so that they don't end up sniffing some glove or used masks.

4. Disinfecting their paws

Now after they are done with the walking and you get them back home make sure you wash their paws 🐾 with some disinfectant.

You can easily do it by spraying the disinfectant on their paws this will help get rid of any virus 🦠 that might have gotten stuck.

         5. Washing their paws

This is the last one that is you should wash their paws after disinfecting them because it could be dangerous for the dogs they might lick it later

So these are some of the precautions you can take to protect your fur friend so that they can stay healthy and so can you.

I hope you guys find this post informative you can share this with your friends and spread awareness among the people so we can protect our fur friends

Detective Dog

Well well, I have been hard at work!! 😤Woof I used all my dog sense to collect details about all this chaos that has been going around in my house 🏠.
I tried a couple of my old dog tricks you know its quite hard looking around for clues 👁 and not making these humans suspicious.

But you all know me it was about my dog pride 🤩 and I had to do it.
I started with a little sniffing 👃 around doing my dog thing wetting around surfaces with my nose and sadly it got me nowhere😓.
But I didn't give up I immediately switched to plan B 😏 and I started to look at my Hooman with my puppy cute eyes 🥺 and man he is dumb 😔.
here I was asking him about the situation and he tries to cuddle ❤️ with me well me being a good dog 🐶 went along and man that passed some time and it was evening and I had no leads.
I was all out of ideas💡but I was not defeated yet I wanted to know the truth so in the evening they all sat to watch that dumb box 📺 again and I was about to leave I couldn't stand it.🤧
But that's when my big brain 🧠 started to work and I realized that watching this dumb box 📺 is when they first started to panic.
so looked at the tv and then at my hooman 👦🏻 in hopes of him understanding something and telling me about it.
And finally, I saw a thin ray of hope 🤩 he came sat next to me as if he knew I was worried 😟 about all the tension in the house.
He told me about some sort of thingy he showed me its photo and damn it looked like a treat 🥘 me to yea yea don't judge me over it remember food is my priority.
But eventually, I came to know that this thingy they been calling VIRUS 🦠 you know I like to call it thingy it's better is been killing people in and around the world 🌍 .
That kinda gave me a minor shock 🤯 and got me worried about my Hooman 👦🏻 and his family's life and then he also explained to me that how we need to stay inside the house 🏠 to stay safe.
So I hope all of you are staying inside your house and washing your hands 🤲🏻 properly it's my duty to create awareness so here I am.
Also please take care of your fellow pets 🐕 in your house and on the streets stay safe until next time.
Woof Woof!!!❤️

Quarantine Day Zero

Hey!! Hello everyone 😋my apologies 😔for not being active for quite a while now. Some of you might not remember me I might as start with introducing my self I am an adorable 8 years old Labrador 🐕 and my name is "Ginger" I live with a family of 4 humans whom I love and on this blog yea this blog its mine and yea, of course, you might be wondering how can a dog run a blog well I do😉 (Ps: My Hooman takes care of the technical stuff I am not so bright with the new internet stuff Woof!!😅)
Well enough catching up with stuff and things in my life told I'll be sharing this new thing which is kind of jumbled up my routine I swear!! 🥺I don't like it one bit but my hooman says it has to be this way for a while so let me start with what happened.
So it all started around the 14th of March 📅 my Hooman had an important exam 📋 in the morning I wished him luck and he was off.
Later that day I saw my hooman's mom whom I call mom as well she kinda looked panic looking at some stuff on that dumb box 📺 which they sit and stare at she kinda looked concerned so I went up to her to check if she was fine she patted me on my head and then i sat beside her.
In the afternoon my Hooman returned and let's just hope he had done well in the exam 😬later he and mom had some talk and they started getting ready for going somewhere, i was so confused as it was not my timing for going on a walk but I was happy anyways as these surprise walks are always fun but what did I knew I got played 😟and it was them who were going out and not me and all I got was if I will stay at home like a good dog I'll get a treat 🥘 and as always I took the deal (Ps: Don't judge me those treats are really good). They returned home after an hour and so with a lot of stuff and they were talking about stocking up supplies 🧻🛍well to my surprise there was another bag of dog food for me as well which was all I was concerned for since half my life is about food and the other half is loving my humans 😉
Since that day things started to get weird and weird for me is obviously my walking timings which were shortened which concerned me a lot uk how important walks for a dog if you have one you can ask him🥺
Idk much of what's going on right now but I'll put my dog sense 🐕 to use and find out about it until the next blog
You guys please stay tuned ❤️ as I'll get more stuff out for you very soon and please take care of the other good boys (Dogs out on the street) Over and out Woof!! Woof!!

The Birthday Special

For me it was just another random day of my life. ⛅ I woke up ,did my stuff - edited previous blog, little bit of sniffing this and that . Just then I saw that Hooman wasn't up, this person loves sleep more than me.i am not saying that I am jealous or something but you understand what I mean right. A little bit of attention wouldn't harm him 🙄. I jumped up from the floor and directly landed on my Hooman. He let out such a large squeak that it scared the heck out of me. He thinks glaring at me scares me , what does he know. I batted my lashes like the good girl I am 😂. He melted instantly and patted me. He then picked me up and said with a huge smile "Happy birthday". I wasn't sure what this really meant but he seemed really happy ☺ about it ..so I just went with the flow and borked at him. Then he took me for my walk , i would usually pull him around the area to smell stuffs ..but to my surprise this time he left me to do whatever I wanted to...I ran around like a mad girl ..going back and forth , circling around trying to catch my tail 😂🙈 . Even though I was panting( Yeah I know I am out of shape currently and who isn't) , it didn't stop me from doing all I could do. Then later we went up and everyone in the house said the same thing my hooman said to me in the morning"Happy birthday Ginger"..at that time I realized it was something related to me ....and even they were treating me with some extra love 🙈it made me feel really special. Later that day in the evening my hooman took me for a walk in this park ( well that's for another day and an another story ) I played there for quite a while ..made some friends ,one of them was hugee🤩,when I came home I was all tired but my hooman he wasn't ready to let me sleep( I was like come on , I love sleep as much as u love it) ...then came in the biggest surprise of my life ...it was something with a round shape it smelled really good my nose couldn't stop but keep smelling and it got me really really excited...I wasn't sure if I would get any of it ...but to my surprise it was all for me ...I was wearing this thing called a birthday hat ...and then as I started eating the cake everyone started saying happy birthday to you ginger ..i wasn't really paying attention to the song, you know the cake was more important hehehe just kidding but seriously...the cake was really good. Somehow I was able to finish it ....and then I didn't even knew when I passed out I guess I just slept at the same place I ate.I woke up some time later and I saw my hooman had removed my collar and he was holding a new collar which had something written on it ..and the best part was that it was in the shape of a bone 🙈❤Mann I loved it ..it even had my name written on it ...I was really happy wearing that ...and that is how my first birthday came to an end ❤.

That Night In Darkness

A loud noise woke me up ..I wasn't sure what was happening. I was in this abandoned house and it was eerily silent, all I could hear was insects and my loud heartbeat. I couldn't remember how or when did I reach this place it was all pitch black inside, I didn't even know whether it was a day or night. I tried to recollect something about this place but nothing came to my mind. I could literally see all my fears coming alive. I was scared to even move my paw but I couldn't be stuck here all the time. Just to test the waters I moved my left paw and I just felt wood. So I started walking and suddenly I was in a room with red lights. There were spiders all over the walls ..wierd noises coming from all places and somewhere in the red lights.

I heard a door creak and that made me shit myself on the spot, I just ran from the door in front of me...I was so scared, moreover I couldn't even find my hooman. Then I somehow came outside of that haunted house. My nose wasn't really helping me because it smelled all new .. nothing was familiar. As I stepped outside there was this long dark road leading to no where ..I couldn't see much further , it was kind of foggy too. So I just began walking . I had a feeling that I was being watched ,so I turned back to look if someone was there and suddenly something black ran in front of me, it shaked my core . And the worst feeling I had was that my hooman had abandoned me , b-but that could not be true because he loves me so much and I knew that, so with the little courage I had I kept walking watching every slight movement. Then after a while I came to this open place which looked like a park..I went inside and heard a swing move to my right, I looked over there and immediately felt something breathing down my neck and when I turned to look back at what it was , I started trembling . I had never seen something like that, I just wanted to run away to my comfort - to my Hooman. And the dark shadow approaching me, I could see it coming close to me ..I wanted to run but my legs were frozen and I couldn't move an inch ..and then in the blink of an eye I was surrounded by a couple of those shadows ...they had blood red eyes staring at me . Trust me that scared me a lot, I just wanted to be out of that place . They kept approaching me and blocking out all escape ways. I shouted for help but there was no one around , I shouted again but all in vain. I could see my Hooman's face flash before my eyes. And just as I was about to get jumped on by those creatures, I heard a distinct sound ..which was very faint ...but it was as if someone was calling my name ..I could hear it and I was really happy to be saved but somehow that voice drained out in the noise of those creatures . And I felt one of them jump on me and i started shaking badly . Then suddenly I opened my eyes and there was my hooman sitting next to me, shaking me vigorously .. asking me to wake up ..and then I realized it was nothing but a dream ,the worst I could ever have ..I was so relieved....my hooman was looking at me with a concerned look ...he told me that I was shaking in my dream trying to run and then everything connected. I am happy to see my dumb Hooman's face. He woke me up ..it was just a bad dream , I kept saying that to me.

Visit To the Vet Clinic!!!

Sorry!! For the delay in blogs 😅.My hooman has his exams 😣 ahh I just hate this time when he just sits with his book in and studies ..and I am not given any attention 😪but I guess that's important for him ..anyways let's begin with another chapter of my life ...this one is a bit scary for me 🤐yet I'll tell you about it. So it all started with a fine Morning i had my morning walk then had my nap and ofcourse my food...and well my afternoon nap too . So later that day I was sitting next to my hooman licking his hand while he was talking to his brother about something and they both nodded and agreed and just a moment later he got me ready and picked my leash. All this time I was like "Wh-...Where-...Tell me why". I was bit confused as it wasn't the usual time for me to go on a walk ...but I was like "Ehh... walks are always welcomed hehe "🙈. We went down and I saw they had different plans, very different plans . We were going in the car somewhere. I hope you guys know about car . It's like a very big dog that runs very fast with circular legs( PS. If I am wrong, there is no need to inform me about it). I went inside the car..sat on my hoomans lap. This was the first time I had ever been in a car, it was little weird for me ...but then when it started moving I could feel all the cool wind in my face that was really fun. The entire time I saw looking out with my tongue going in numerous other ways🙈. We reached this place which was apparently empty with something written on a board as "Vet clinic". There was no one around that place. Me and my hooman sat there for a while and later other dogs started to come in with their humans..then a weird looking guy came out of a room ...then me and my hooman went in .I remember it had a distinct smell of something of which I wasn't a big fan of. Then this weird looking guy asked my hooman to pick me up and put me on the table. My hooman picked me up ( I like being in his hands...they are soft) and kept me on the table ..I was a bit scared when I looked down from the top of the table. I was trying to get down but it was too big of a distance from top to bottom. I guess this annoyed my hooman and that man so he told my hooman to catch all my legs and made me lay down. I wasn't sure what was happening..I tried to move but I was powerless.. later that wired looking guy gave me something in a plastic tube with a pointed end and poked me with it. My god when he poked me I could literally kick the heck out of him. I felt really painful. I wanted to run away from that place ..but it was over in 5sec ( DO NOT SAY THAT I AM DRAMATIC ) and then my hooman picked me up and kept me down ..as soon as I reached the holy ground, I ran to the door and guess what I ran straight into the door . Gosh that hurt , but less than that poking. Also I couldn't leave my hooman alone with him ..so I sat between his legs so I could feel a bit safe and then after an eternity later discussion was completed and I was finally out of that place . Later while going home my hooman bought me ice cream I wasn't sure what it was for ( I know it was bribery duhhh... But it might help to play dumb) . I ate the ice cream ,licked it clean and then started to ignore him for making me go through all that stupid poking
.

Home School (part-2)

It has been quite a while since I was being home schooled ...in my dog calendar it had almost been like 6..or 7months. But for humans it was a really small time like 2months and don't ask me how I know it...I can understand some of their language.I was taught the same things over and over and they got pretty damn clear in my mind and a bit boring too .. infact I could do these things with just hand signs I didn't even needed a command (you know right...I am smarter than my hooman😋 he can never understand my signs) . So one afternoon my teacher came and I was ready to drop and roll (commandos style) and surprisingly he took my leash and opened the main door .I started jumping like a mad woman- excited because that usually meant a walk and I loved going out in the mud. So he put up my leash and took me out ..but it wasn't like any other day walking ..he was making me do things which I used to do in the house .. outside as well ..I was confused but when I did as he said ..you know what I got❤😋tasty treats ,so I did it anyways ...then we went for a normal walk. I was tempted to take him to every good smelling place but he was too strong . Moreover my hooman was asked to stay in the house , so I knew my puppy eyes won't work for this teacher. So my cute hooman was peeping from the window looking at me trying to walk properly with my teacher. He was so proud of me🙈. He taught me things like how to to walk besides my hooman ,not behind or ahead of him , I should not pull the leash, not to eat anything from the ground( now this was a bummer😂) and lot of other stuff( I am too lazy to list down)..then after that controlled walking of which I wasn't a big fan of ..I was given some off leash time as well, just ran around in the building chasing cats and birds.
I was schooled for yet another 5..6 months from my dog calender. Yeah don't ask me about human months. I was so well taught that now i could even walk without a leash and not run around like I used to do before and also follow the command given to me without thinking about the treats.
I felt so proud being graduated.
And then my schooling came to end alas.

Home School (Part-1)

So as I started to live in my new home I started getting familiar with the other humans who lived In the house with my hooman. There were all together 3 more humans in the house-his mother, father and a brother as well ..I used to spend a lot of my time playing around in the house looking out of the window at the birds that's sat on the trees and obviously slept a lot. I love sleep ...sleep is bae❤. One fine afternoon I was chewing one of my hooman's slipper and I looked at something which looked exactly like me. It was black colour like me and moved exactly at the same time as me. On top of that it was borking at the same time as I was. God my mind was completely boggled. I was so curious and scared at the same time .I looked at it for the last time and I ran away towards my hooman. I wasn't sure if it was safe or not so I went to my hooman who was already laughing so hard and kept on saying that " afraid of her own reflection" and recording my video. And I was left alone again( I still don't understand his language completely) thinking what stupidity I did that he had to take out his phone. Seriously I will snatch that phone one day and chew it hard till it tears ( I hope it's made of cloth) . He never records me when I do something smart . He is a bit mean about this.
Then days passed by so like a month later when I was 4months old, there was this new human who came to our house. He had a weird attire and was very tiny compared to my hooman. He had a kind of pouch filled with something that smelled really good . My mouth was full of water. While I was trying to make out his motive, out of now where he gave me something to eat from his pouch. I was like why is he giving me food. I gave a questioning look to my hooman and as always he didn't get it. He needs to learn my sign language. So I did what I thought was best. I just ate it 😂🙈. Then this human used to come every day doing the same thing, I wasn't sure what he wanted me to do so I just tilted my head and thought about it. Once when he was giving me that delicious thing to eat, he tried to pull my paw and immediately I pulled it back. I thought he'll hurt me ( me smol na) . Then later I when I was thinking about this man, I realized he wanted me to give my paw to him . So I started to understand it slowly and that's how my school life started. Yeah ,yeah don't make a fuss about it , I was home schooled. He used to visit me everyday making me do different things and would treat me if I would do it correctly. And drum roll please... my favorite of all the things he taught me was rolling on my back . He used to call it roll over . And duh! I was expert in it. It was easy for me to grasp it as I used to do it when me and my brothers and sisters played...and he taught me a lot of other dog things like sitting down ..roll toward right or left ..I used to have a lot of fun doing it but you know I am lazy and that was too much of physical exercise for my liking but anyways I still did because you know , I love my hooman and me doing all of those things made him happy ❤.. And also because ,I cared about the tasty treats he used to bring with him ( well, this was the main reason) ...
PS. Don't tell my hooman.

DAY 1

The very next day i woke up was quite a bright morning for my liking. I was too lazy to do anything but sleep...you know right, how it is....but I could feel my dog senses crying out loud to get my nose and look around the place. So finally I woke up moving from room to room(believe me they were huge for someone so tiny like me) looking at different people in the house. I saw my hooman sitting on the sofa. He saw me coming and rushed to me pick me up and started patting on my head, massaged my ears .That felt so good that I was already getting succumbed to the dream land when I heard a roar sound.. it was coming from within me and then I had a late realisation . Yeah I was hungry. Very hungry. It had been quite a while since I last ate. I was looking at him with my puppy eyes( big and shiny) so that I could get something to eat. I could see him melting bit by bit and when he exhaled loudly I knew I had him. Hurrayyyy. Then he gave me food mixed with water because you know it's hard . Later that afternoon there were a lot of humans coming in to the house. I have a question . Why are humans so humongous .They all wanted to play with me and well you don't need to ask me , YES even I wanted to sniff them all. I went around between their legs making various shapes, getting patted on my head , ohh yeah I felt special 😊. Everyone picked me up, gave me things to eat, it was quite fun ...but all this exercise made me dead tired and eventually I was into deep slumber. Later I woke up my hooman by borking at him. He is just like me deep sleeper. He took me for a walk because guess what , it was pee-o-clock!!!!! But as tiny am I, I couldn't hold myself and ended up doing it on the stairs itself. My hooman rushed me outside but it was all in vain. The dark pupper inside me was happy😈. And yes you guess it right, all I did was play in the mud when I got outside and got myself all covered up ,head to toe, proudly. Then I went back up and had my sweetest nap of all time( I could call this as understatement of the year) and later when I was tired of sleeping😛, I sat beside my big hooman looking at the setting sun on the balcony. That's how my first day at this new place came to end.
Oh my god who is cutting onions, nevermind I always tear up when I think about the first day.☺

MY HOOMAN

After my brother's and sisters were gone, I was left alone with my mother. I didn't have anyone to play with any more.. all I did was stick around with my mother feeling kind of scared that someone would also come and take me away from her. It was quite for the next couple of weeks but one evening there was this young boy who visited our house. He was talking to the humans of our house and later he came inside. I didn't know what he wanted but he gave me a look and was too overjoyed to see me. Even i had a teeny tiny good feeling about this human. And then he left, I felt a bit sad, but you know that's okay.
The very next day he was here again, now with a whole bunch of other humans. They had a talk, I still was too small to understand their language. After few minutes ,they put my food and my blanket in a small basket and my mom was taken to another room, I started to have a panic attack . I borked at them, but they were unfazed by it. I was mumma do the same when in danger but somehow now it wasn't working. Alas, I was taken away by them. I tried to call my mother but my voice couldn't reach her and just like my brother and sister even I was gone too . I was a little bit scared as to where they were taking me. I was in the basket for the entire time and after sometime we reached somewhere. That same human opened my basket there and picked me up and massaged my ears. As he was doing this , I had a good feeling about this human. I was feeling less scared to be with him ,that is when I realised that he was "My Hooman". He kept me down and I started to do what I loved the most. I went around with my nose to a couple of places but I was too tired and then i collapsed to my dream world. I couldn't sleep much and woke up in the middle of the night. I was feeling fresh, so I started walking in a bit of crooked manner since I just woke up. I wanted so see what was the surrounding like, as I had all kinds of new smells and this was making my sense go woof!!..As I was roaming around the bed the humans woke up and started looking at me and were showing me a thing that was looking like a flat box, I think they called it a phone. I tried to climb the bed but it was out of my reach, too high 😪so I gave up and sat down biting my new toy. Then my hooman came to me and sat close to me and picked me up and kept me on his lap and eventually I fell asleep on his soft lap .

Rendezvous

The blogs would be divided into 2 parts they contain both my dog and my point of view stories . So this one is from my point of view.
Hello peeps this blog would be about me . I was this average young (dumb and broke) boy who was pretty scared of dogs in my earlier life. I would literally have goosebumps when a dog started barking even if it wasn't on me but later like every teenager, even I had a wish to have a dog of my own. So after a lot of contemplation, I finally gathered enough courage to ask my mom about keeping a dog. My mom replied that I will have to ask my father. And thus the difficulty levels rose to positive infinity. Believe me... It was a real tough task .
I went to him and asked whether we could keep a dog. He pondered about it and said "No" (blunt and straight) with the explanation that there would be a lot of care needed for it and that you won't be able to concentrate on your studies (that typical "Indian" parent excuse). Now ,since he denied, there was nothing that I could do about it because, I needed my dad's permission to keep a dog. So I started looking for ways in which I could convince him. Let me tell you... All in vain.
A couple of weeks later we went to meet our relatives in Pune(Maharashtra). We had a family gathering there for couple of days. I spoke to one of my cousins and he happened to know someone who had a dog at their place and are ready to sell their puppies. I was really on cloud nine imagining everything😅. Me and my cousin went to see those puppies the very next day (as you know I couldn't contain my happiness) . When we reached the place, there was this beautiful lawn in front of their house which was pretty spacious and actually very soft 😗 as we went on inside I saw that they had three dogs and I was so excited to see them, as well as scary chills passed through my bones. We took our seats and had a small chat with them. I couldn't control myself (obviously) and ended up asking them if they had any dog puppies with them in the middle of a conversation, abruptly and that I would like to buy one if they had any. They said that their dog recently had some babies and all of them were already sold, I could hear my heart shattering into pieces . But just as I was trying to cope with that broken heart ,they said that there was one puppy left but she was pretty weak and was smallest amongst the pack . Well here come a challenge and I with due respect accept it.I said no problem and asked whether I could just see her. To which they nodded. I rushed inside the house where I could hear very cute tiny whimpering of a pupper waking up. That was the very first time I saw my Queen. She was sitting close to her mother, keeping her head on her stomach . She was really small and very very cute . She was this black Labrador 🐶 she had these biiigggg brown eyes👁 and a wet tiny nose🐽 with ears covering half of her face. She looked very serene.
She was so cute that all I wanted was to pick her up and run away🙈but I was really scared of her mother ( Till this day I wonder what would have been her reaction) . She sat there looking at me and pure rage . Later in the evening ,I showed my mother her photos and she really liked her(who couldn't) and then all that was left was to convince my father(again) and with a little support from my cousin and my mother we unbelievably managed to convince my dear father to get me a dog ❤.

This is my part of the story how I tried and finally convinced my father to get me a dog.

Shades of childhood

Admist winter on a cloudy afternoon of 10 December 2014, I was born. I was the smallest of my brothers and sisters . I wasn't sure what as going around as my eyes were closed, all I could feel was my mother licking me to keep me clean and I would stay close to her so that I would be warm for the next couple of weeks. After I was a week or two ,I began to open my eyes and then as time passed by I started exploring . As I opened my eyes I realized that there were these big creatures who were around me all this time. At first i was scared of them constantly picking me up and the fear of them trying to take me away from my mumma, all I could do was whimper so that they would put me back or mumma could hear me and come to my rescue. Later my mom assured me that there was nothing to be afraid of and thus I began my life with these big creature who called themselves human. As I grew older I spent most of my time playing with my brother and sister and chewing on things I wasn't supposed to. All those slippers, shoes, cardboard boxes taste the best 😋 and tried eating anything I could find .
The food I was given was something really soft the human called it cornflakes which was to my surprise really tasty. One fine afternoon I was having my nap there was some noise from outside .out of curiosity I went out to see what was happening and there were these human putting down some stuff on the floor called as a paper we all started to walk and roll all over it . It made a really funny sound when we scratched it with our nails. It was fun because we ended up tearing it. Then the very next day they did the same thing and started to say something which I wasn't really sure of ,it was something like "go to poop" but after a couple of days , I pooped on the same spot. I was treated for doing that and then... I realized what I had to do to get those tasty treats .That's how I was taught to poop on a spot . As I turned 2months old there, i would go around the house sniffing in any direction so that I could find something to chew on. Doing that made me feel like I was making good use of my dog time 😂 !!
On one of those days there were more human visiting my place and they started to look at us in a way that made my dog senses go 'woof' and I started barking at them but I guess that wasn't of much use 😣 they took my brother away with them .
