RIH-diculously adorable A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have been packing on the PDA this week after being spotted in the NYC streets.

It all started with the Knicks. As BOSSIP previously reported, while Rocky attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden —where the Knicks pulled off the largest comeback in NBA Finals history with a stunning 107-106 win over the Spurs after overcoming a 29-point deficit — he and Rihanna also took the celebration to the streets.

A viral clip showed Rihanna taking shots at a Knicks-themed basketball hoop as a crowd of fans cheered her on with chants of “Let’s go RihRih!” while Rocky stood nearby grinning from ear to ear. Rocky has made his Knicks loyalty clear all postseason, telling GQ, “I’m from New York, sweetheart. I ain’t no Knicks fan. I am a Knick.” 

Then came the newsstand moment that absolutely sent the internet into a tizzy. On Wednesday (June 10), Rocky and Rihanna were spotted at a New York City newsstand where a fan captured Rocky holding up Rihanna’s recent W magazine cover story and asking for her autograph. 

“I’ve been your fan for a long time,” Rocky told her. 

When Rihanna pointed out that he was technically “a fan” while she was “a groupie,” Rocky responded,

“I’m your No. 1 groupie. Excuse me miss, can you please sign this for me? Put it out to your future baby daddy.”

The future baby daddy line made Rihanna laugh, and she joked that she couldn’t have their fourth child as she “already had her BBL appointment set up.”

And then Rihanna decided two could play that game. As Complex reported, while chatting with Maurice Kamara’s The People Gallery and holding up the recently released comeback issue of Vibe magazine featuring Rocky on the cover, Rihanna gushed,

“And this is… My baby daddy brought Vibe back. You know, the vibe has been lost. The vibe has been brought back. Oh my god, look. Right there. I f****ed that n***a and I had his babies.”

Rocky then walked into the same interview, again citing himself as a “good luck charm” for the Knicks. The two share three children together, including their youngest daughter, Rocki Irish, born in September of last year. 

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have built one of the most genuinely playful and affectionate public relationships in entertainment. This week, they put the entire blueprint on display. Autographs, baby daddy declarations, sidewalk basketball, and matching magazine covers. Some people get flowers. Rihanna and Rocky get full media cycles dedicated to how much they adore each other.

Dwayne Johnson is opening up about a private health scare that unfolded while he was promoting Jumanji. In a new Esquire cover story, the actor revealed that he faced a testicular cancer scare earlier this year and kept the ordeal to himself, telling no one, not even his wife.

As Variety reported, Johnson revealed that he had a cancer scare earlier this year that coincided with his Jumanji press duties at CinemaCon. The actor discovered a lump on one of his testicles and went to the doctor the morning before his trip to Las Vegas. So picture this. He wakes up to find a concerning lump. He goes to see the doctor before he is due at one of the biggest movie promotional events of the year. And the news he gets back is not exactly reassuring. 

According to Esquire, the doctor felt the lump and said it was probably epididymitis — an inflammation of a tube at the back of the testicle that stores sperm, but it could also be cancer. The doctor asked what his schedule looked like that day, and Johnson told him about the all-day Jumanji event. The doctor said Johnson needed to get an ultrasound first thing the next morning. 

The man was told there was a real possibility this could be cancer, and then he still had to show up to a full day of press, smile for cameras, do interviews, and entertain a room full of people. All while sitting on that information privately.

“So I had to live with that for those 24 hours, not knowing, and I had to be on all day, joking around, making speeches. But I’m okay,” he said, confirming he did in fact just have epididymitis and not cancer. 

The same interview also touched on a few other topics, giving fans a fuller picture of where his head has been this year. Johnson admitted that Oscar buzz around his performance in The Smashing Machine was instant after it premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where he notably broke down in tears during a standing ovation. Ultimately, he was not nominated for Best Actor earlier this year. 

“It would have been incredible to get nominated for an Oscar,” he said. “I realized very quickly that it’s a rare thing to reach this pinnacle. It would have been amazing. I wish it happened. But it didn’t. But in no uncertain terms did I ever think, ‘Oh, that doesn’t matter.’ I always thought it mattered. And it has lit a fire in my spine, which is: let’s go back to work.”

As People reported, the description of the lump itself was striking on its own. Johnson described the discomfort as significant enough that it was impossible to ignore, even with everything else going on that day.

Thankfully, Johnson is okay. The lump was not cancer, but the entertainer went through a genuinely frightening twenty-four hours while the world was watching him smile. Now, he is using that experience to remind everyone that health checks matter and that strength sometimes looks like showing up anyway while quietly handling something heavy behind the scenes. Today (June 12), the brands released a new episode of The Black Watch, an editorial-led series examining the biggest cultural moments in film and entertainment.

The latest installment of the series brings together BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada, executive producer Serita Wesley, and comedian-writer Richard Jones for a candid conversation about Boots Riley’s brilliantly bonkers I Love Boosters.

The 2026 comedy-crime caper follows a group of fashionable shoplifters who steal designer goods from luxury retailers and resell them at discounted prices. The film stars Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore, and continues Riley’s tradition of blending surreal storytelling with sharp social commentary.

The discussion kicks off with the panel weighing the film’s overall entertainment value and whether Riley’s signature style still packs a punch.

Known for projects like Sorry to Bother You and I’m A Virgo, Riley has built a reputation for creating stories that feel equal parts absurd, thought-provoking, and unpredictable. According to the panel, I Love Boosters fits squarely within that tradition.

“Yeah, I think it’s very timely for everything that’s going on in the country,” she says. “We see it time and time again. Every designer either wants to capitalize on us or they want to rip us off and not give us any credit.”

“Wait, do y’all know any real boosters? Because I do,” Serita says. “I’m from Philly. I have some boosters in my family.”

“That’s real snitch activity right there,” Richard quips.

“Yes, she is!” Serita insists.

Richard is equally unimpressed with the criticism.

“Yeah, Elon was like, ‘Well, he’s doing this to get awards.’ Duh!”

“I mean, why else would you make a film, right?” Dani responds.

“Exactly,” Richard says. “Because he’s not creative.”

He continues ripping into the SpaceX Founder.

He is a big idiot who fails upward. Elon Musk is not a robot. He’s just really good at—how do I put this? Oh, yeah, d*** riding.

The exchange eventually spirals into playful jokes about Hollywood, awards season, and internet discourse before returning to the film itself.

As the episode winds down, the panel agrees that I Love Boosters succeeds because it delivers larger conversations about wealth, culture, and who gets credit for shaping trends, just in the wonkily whimsical Boots Riley way.

According to reporting by WALB, a Georgia family says what began as a peaceful gathering in Lee County turned into a terrifying incident like something from the 1950s when a white man allegedly drove past their home shouting racial slurs before returning armed with an AR-15-style rifle and body armor.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the incident unfolded on June 7 on Autumn Leaf Drive in Leesburg. Family members told WALB that they were outside enjoying a gathering when a vehicle passed by and the driver, later identified as 36-year-old Jeffrey Tyler Kinzer, allegedly began yelling the N-word and other racist remarks at the predominantly Black group. Witnesses said the family initially tried to ignore the harassment and continued their fellowship after Kinzer left.

“He’s talking junk. He started yelling the ‘N-word,’” Ramell Green, a witness said. “He kept going so we let him go. We just discussed what had happened after.”

However, family members said the situation escalated dramatically when Kinzer returned. Witnesses told WALB that he arrived wearing body armor and carrying an AR-15-style rifle. According to relatives, Kinzer allegedly opened fire toward the gathering, causing life-or-death chaos as people scrambled for cover and safety. Several people, including children, were reportedly present during the incident. Witnesses described the encounter as a racially motivated attack and said they feared someone would be killed.

Authorities said deputies responded to multiple reports of an active shooting and determined the violence stemmed from what they described as a verbal altercation. During the exchange of gunfire, Kinzer was shot and injured by a member of the family. Relatives told WALB the family member fired in self-defense after Kinzer allegedly began shooting at them. Kinzer survived the gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

“…People started taking positions because they saw he had a gun. And I was in the middle of the street,” Green said. “And I grabbed my gun and started returning fire and moving with him.”

Thank God these folks were armed and prepared to defend themselves against the hatred that infests America in 2026.

After being cleared by medical personnel, Kinzer was booked into the Lee County Jail. The sheriff’s office charged him with aggravated assault, though investigators indicated that additional charges could be forthcoming as the case remains under review. Officials have not announced whether any hate-crime-related charges will be pursued but hate crime charges should absolutely be pursued. Why is this even in question? The man calls a bunch of Black people ni**ers and shoots at them with a rifle. It doesn’t get any clearer that he hated them and wanted them dead.

For the family, the shooting left lasting emotional scars. They told WALB they believe they were targeted because they were Black and said the racist language allegedly used before the gunfire makes the motive clear.

“It’s so hurtful. I cried all night,” Loucindi Broussard, another witness, said. “I’m laying outside on the ground for a shootout. I’m under a car with my sister who is 77 and I’m 62.”

While no family members were reported seriously injured, relatives say the incident serves as a stark reminder of how quickly racist hostility can escalate into potentially deadly violence.

The radio and TV personality has categorically denied his estranged wife’s allegations that he domestically abused her and had an affair with his co-host Francesca Amiker. This comes following reports from TMZ, which obtained police documents from an investigation involving his wife, Alicia Brown.

According to the docs, Brown was involved in an alleged assault during a May incident that prompted authorities to open a domestic dispute investigation, in which Big Tigger–whose real name is Darian Morgan–is the prime suspect.

Dispatch records indicate that Brown sought medical treatment for her injuries before police were contacted, which led to the launch of an investigation. She was later transported to a hospital, but authorities noted her injuries were not life-threatening. The documents don’t say what led to Brown’s injuries.

This report came after Brown alluded to Tigger being responsible for her injuries, posting an Instagram video showing off her bruised face on Sunday, June 7. In the social media clip, Alicia is crying, paired with the caption, “Someone ask my husband why my face happened,” along with the hashtag #FrancescaAmiker, the name of his radio show co-host.

In a comment under another post, Brown allegedly confirmed that she and Big Tigger are getting a divorce over his relationship with Amiker.

In response to these allegations, the radio personality took to the airwaves and Instagram to issue his own statement on June 12, denying both claims of infidelity and abuse.

“I want to say categorically that these allegations and accusations that have been circulating are false,” he began. “Additionally, it’s important to clarify that Francesca and I have never been anything more than friends and respected colleagues. I’d like to apologize to her for the impact of these last few days.”

His statement continued, “Out of respect for everyone involved, I ask for grace, privacy, and restraint as my family navigates this difficult moment. For more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving my community through music, entertainment, and connection, and I remain grateful for the trust so many of you have placed in me throughout that journey. I intend to continue living and leading in a manner worthy of that trust.”

Alicia Brown Denies Accusing Big Tigger Of Abuse

On the same day as her husband’s statement, Alicia released a new statement through media personality Loren LoRosa, denying that she accused Morgan of abuse.

“I want to be clear: I have never called my husband an abuser,” she said. “Social media has drawn its own conclusions from information that was shared, but those conclusions are not statements I have made.”

Brown went on to address the public scrutiny surrounding the situation, insisting that “the facts will speak for themselves in due time.”

Francesca Amiker has also denied the affair accusations.

On Saturday, she posted a meme on her InstaStory that read: “when you hear a rumor about you thats so untrue you genuinely don’t even know how to defend yourself.”

On Sunday, June 7, TheShadeRoom reached out to a source for Amiker, who denied Alicia Brown’s cheating claims.

“Francesca is in shock right now. Nearly two decades of building herself up in this industry, gaining respect from her peers, advocating for Black women, winning four Emmys because of her advocacy in her community, all for it to be ruined because someone she has never met tagged her in horrific imagery,” the source explained.

“Francesca has never been a part of a toxic situation and doesn’t plan to begin now. As a respected Journalist in this industry, she knows exactly how exciting it is to read salacious rumors and headlines.” In addition, the source said, “Her involvement in any of this couldn’t be farther from the truth. She never thought leaving E! news in Los Angeles and accepting a job at her new radio station would lead to this.”

The journalist went on to deny the accusations in a formal statement, saying,

“The allegations being circulated about me are completely false and do not reflect who I am or how I conduct myself. I have never had an affair or cheated with a married man. I stand by my character, my integrity, and the truth.”

CBS News reports that the family of Karmelo Anthony is speaking out publicly following the Texas teenager’s murder conviction and the 35-year prison sentence given for the fatal stabbing of fellow student-athlete Austin Metcalf, insisting that the tragedy has left two families devastated and that “nobody wins” from the outcome.

In an interview following the verdict, Anthony’s parents continued to maintain that their son acted in self-defense during the April 2025 confrontation at a Frisco (Texas) high school track meet that ended with 17-year-old Metcalf’s death. An all-white Collin County jury rejected that argument after less than three hours of deliberation, finding Anthony guilty of murder before sentencing him to 35 years in prison.

Anthony’s mother, Kala Hayes, said her son “didn’t mean to hurt anyone” and argued that he was attempting to defend himself during the altercation. His father, Andrew Anthony, expressed sympathy for the Metcalf family while acknowledging the enormous pain caused by the case.

“It’s unfortunate, it’s where nobody wins. We’ve all been hurt by this. Everybody, everyone.”

That said, Anthony still does not feel like his son got a fair trial.

“They did a number on us,” Anthony said. “We didn’t get justice. A lot of things that were missed that should have been handled a certain way.”

The family also pushed back against what they describe as widespread public hostility surrounding the case. In a separate interview with CBS Texas, Anthony’s parents said they have continued to receive death threats even after the conviction and sentencing. Andrew Anthony claimed that members of the public still want harm to come to his family despite the guilty verdict. The family believes public opinion turned against Karmelo long before the trial began and has vowed to continue fighting the conviction through the appeals process.

“People want us dead,” Anthony said. “After they still got what they wanted…they still want us dead. I go look at my phone, people want us dead. They want our family dead.”

Although the trial has concluded, the emotional fallout remains severe for both families. The Metcalfs continue to mourn the loss of Austin, while Karmelo’s family faces the reality of their son beginning a lengthy prison sentence.

“That poor boy is fixing to experience a life that I would not wish upon anyone, but he deserves what he gets because we’re all responsible for our actions,” [Jeff] Metcalf, Austin’s father, said. “What it boils down to for me is this: Austin will never walk through that door again, and never give me a hug.” 

As Anthony’s legal team prepares an appeal, his parents say they remain convinced that the justice system got the case wrong, even as a jury reached the opposite conclusion.

Paramount+ announced that memserizing Motor City comedy from creator, writer, executive producer, and star Diarra Kilpatrick will return globally on Wednesday, July 29, with the first two episodes dropping that day. After that, new episodes will roll out every Wednesday through September 9.

For anybody who missed the first season, Diarra From Detroit follows Diarra Brickland, a divorcing schoolteacher whose attempt to bounce back romantically turns into something way bigger than a bad dating app story. After getting ghosted by her rebound Tinder date, Diarra refuses to accept the obvious answer and starts digging. That search pulls her into a decades-old mystery tied to Detroit’s underworld, with her friends, coworkers, lovers, and everybody else getting dragged into the mess along with her.

That mix of mystery, comedy, romance, and very specific Detroit energy is what made the show hit so hard the first time around. Season 1 was praised by critics, named one of the top shows of the year by several outlets, including Deadline, Rolling Stone, and The Hollywood Reporter, and earned multiple nominations from the NAACP Image Awards and Film Independent Spirit Awards. Kilpatrick also won a Gracie Award for Actress in a Breakthrough Role for her performance.

Season 2 is picking up with the same “Why is this happening to me?” energy, but the stakes look even crazier this time. According to Paramount+, Diarra is trying — and failing — to have a hot girl summer without getting pulled into another dangerous Detroit mystery. What starts as a seemingly harmless furniture recovery mission somehow spirals into a triple homicide investigation, a citywide treasure hunt, and another deep dive into Detroit’s criminal underbelly.

And because this is Diarra we’re talking about, that’s not even all of it. While trying to figure out her messy relationship status, she also ends up going undercover with a secret society, starring in a Tubi movie, chasing urban legends, dodging gang warfare, and uncovering secrets buried beneath the city itself. Basically, she wanted peace, but the city said absolutely not.

The main cast is also back in the mix. Season 2 stars Diarra Kilpatrick, Dominique Perry, Bryan Terrell Clark, and Jon Chaffin, with Shannon Wallace, Phylicia Rashad, and Harry Lennix returning as well. The guest list is stacked too, with appearances from Method Man, Morris Chestnut, Glynn Turman, Bokeem Woodbine, Amber Riley, Lil Rel Howert, Lovie Simone, Shoniqua Shandai, Nicco Annan, Skilla Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Chris “CP” Powell, and Jude Demorest.

Behind the scenes, the show remains in strong hands. Kilpatrick continues as creator, star, writer, and executive producer, while Kenya Barris and Miles Orion Feldsott also serve as executive producers. Feldsott serves as showrunner, and BET Studios and Khalabo Ink Society produce the series.

The move to Paramount+ also gives the show a bigger platform for its second season. Season 1 is currently available to stream on Paramount+, meaning fans can catch up before Diarra gets herself wrapped up in another mystery she definitely should’ve left alone — but absolutely will not.

So, everything we know so far points to Season 2 being bigger, messier, funnier, and even more Detroit than the first. The mystery is new, the guest stars are major, and Diarra Brickland is still doing what she does best: turning one simple problem into a full-blown investigation that somehow involves half the city.

Laverne Cox is opening up about having some post-cop clarity. After previously revealing that she spent nearly four years seriously swooning over her MAGA-supporting police officer boo, she realized she was “betraying” herself by being in that relationship.

During a recent appearance on The View while promoting her upcoming memoir, Transcendent, the Emmy-nominated star reflected on her former relationship with a New York City police officer whose political beliefs sparked intense public conversation. According to The Independent, Cox addressed the backlash she received after previously revealing that she had dated a younger police officer who supported Donald Trump.

“We didn’t plan to fall in love, but we did,” Cox explained while discussing the relationship.

The Orange Is the New Black star said that when they first met, she was drawn to what she described as a kind and attentive partner who treated her better than anyone she had dated before. Cox eventually learned that he had not been completely honest about his profession and later discovered political differences that became increasingly difficult to ignore.

According to USA Today, Cox explained that while she initially wanted to see him as a human being beyond his job title and political affiliation, deeper issues eventually surfaced.

“People show you who they are eventually,” she shared during a television appearance.

The actress revealed that as time went on, she realized the relationship represented more than a disagreement about politics. Instead, she came to view it as a conflict in values. While Cox said she believes people can sometimes maintain relationships despite differing political opinions, she ultimately concluded that this situation involved fundamental differences in how they viewed the world.

“The political affiliation became obvious, but I’d already had feelings for him, and I wanted to see him as a human being beyond that,” the actress continued. “His politics and his unexamined life became clear after the three-and-a-half-years. I was like, ‘I love him, but I love myself more.’ And staying in this relationship betrayed myself.”

Deets about Laverne Cox’s ex date back to July 2025, when the actress came forward about the relationship while promoting her NYC show Laverne Cox: Gurrl How Did I Get Here?.

Cox shared that she was “madly in love” with the man who was 22 years her junior.

“My ex-boyfriend, when we met five years ago, at the height of the pandemic, he was 26. I was 48,” she said. “He is a blonde-hair, blue-eyed MAGA Republican voter who is a New York City police officer. We were madly in love. I did not develop any of these politics. I still have my own.”

After being blasted with criticism, Cox emphasized in a follow-up IG video that she never adopted her former partner’s political beliefs and continued challenging viewpoints she disagreed with throughout the relationship. She also stressed that her commitment to transgender rights and progressive advocacy never wavered.

“For the folks who say it’s a betrayal to my community because I fell in love with someone with different politics, I mean, I get it,” she said in a follow-up video. I” get it, especially now, and we aren’t dating now, and I think with this current administration, lines certainly have to be drawn, because we’re fighting for our lives in a different way than we were five years ago,” she said.

Laverne went on to note that, unlike her ex, she’d never voted for Trump.

Now, as she prepares to release her memoir, Cox appears focused on sharing the lessons she learned.

After more than three years of custody disputes, basement bashing, and countless headlines, Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman are putting their marriage and cellar dweller drama behind them. The news comes amid fans debating about the cushily coined housewife’s salary that was revealed in divorce docs.

According to court documents obtained by People, Sidora has been ordered to pay Pittman $2,218 per month in child support for their two children. The documents state that Sidora earns approximately $38,260 monthly, while Pittman’s monthly income is listed at $27,449. Pittman will maintain health insurance coverage for the children, while any uncovered medical expenses will be split equally between the former spouses.

The settlement also awards Pittman exclusive ownership of the former couple’s Atlanta home, meaning he can move from the home’s basement to upstairs. However, he must pay Sidora $145,054.12 for her share of the property’s equity within 45 days of the order’s filing.

TMZ also reported on the filings and shed light on Sidora’s earnings from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her salary rose from roughly $352,000 in Season 15 to $380,000 in Season 16 before reaching approximately $465,000 for Season 17. According to the documents, her most recent contract amounted to about $26,000 per episode.

More Details On Drew Sidora & Ralph Pittman’s Divorce

The final judgment comes just days after Sidora scored a temporary victory in court.

As previously reported by BOSSIP, a Georgia judge reversed an earlier ruling that would have required the actress and singer to leave the marital home by May 31. At the time, Sidora argued that the move would place a significant financial burden on her family while the divorce proceedings remained unresolved.

Despite the divorce now being finalized, there is still lingering tension between the former couple. According to TMZ, Sidora recently requested that Pittman cover more than $400,000 in legal fees she claims accumulated during the contentious divorce battle. In court filings, she alleged that Pittman intentionally prolonged the proceedings and described his behavior throughout the case as “continuous and unrelenting.”

Sidora also claimed Pittman repeatedly gave her false hope that reconciliation was possible before changing course. During testimony, she reportedly compared his behavior to “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” alleging that he would alternate between kindness and hostility.

However, Pittman has pushed back on those claims. He reportedly accused Sidora of failing to fully disclose her income and requested that the court award him $320,000 in legal fees of his own.

While the legal paperwork may finally be signed, one of Atlanta’s most publicized reality television breakups will continue to spark conversation. For now, both Sidora and Pittman appear focused on co-parenting and moving forward into their next chapters, even if their divorce story remains one of the messiest in recent RHOA history.

The former star of 30 Rock voiced his disdain for teachers during a recent conversation with Saturday Night Live’s Marcello Hernandez, which happened during Variety and CNN’s Actors on Actors series.

In the clip posted by Variety, Hernandez joked about getting in trouble at school for talking too much, which he obviously ended up making a career out of. Morgan replied by defending Hernandez’s behavior, saying, “They didn’t understand you. You had a sense of humor. And they couldn’t control that. God gave that to you.”

After that, Hernandez pointed out that he is now “getting paid for mischief,” which is when Morgan’s comments took a turn for the worse. He made a snarky comment about those teachers who are “still making minimum wage,” before taking a sip from his mug.

“No,” Hernandez said, laughing uncomfortably.

“You know how much them teachers probably making right now?” Morgan inquired, to which Hernandez responded, “Man, not enough.”

While it’s not exactly a hot take to say that most teachers are making a salary that’s well below the labor they put in, it’s usually talked about in the way Marcello phrased it, pointing out that the people teaching our youth are not being paid enough. Tracy Morgan took that opportunity to go in the opposite direction, though, taunting educators for their “limit,” and insisting he’s just as proficient in teaching his own children.

“I can’t stand teachers,” he said. “You know why? Because they have a ceiling. They have a limit. That’s all they ever gonna be. Man, I teach my kids, sky’s the limit.”

A viral clip making the rounds on social media shows Rihanna taking shots at a Knicks-themed basketball hoop as a crowd of fans cheered her on with chants of “Let’s go RiRi!” Standing nearby was Rocky, grinning from ear to ear as he watched his longtime partner soak up the moment.

The street-side basketball session came at the perfect time for Knicks fans. Just hours earlier, New York pulled off a stunning 107-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs after overcoming a 29-point deficit—the largest comeback in NBA Finals history.

For Rocky, this celebration was personal. The Harlem native has become one of the most visible celebrity supporters of the Knicks during their Finals run, and he recently made it clear that his connection to the team goes beyond ordinary fandom.

Speaking with GQ’s Sasha Mutchnik after the Knicks took a 2-0 series lead on June 5, Rocky explained exactly where his loyalties lie.

“I’m from New York, sweetheart,” said Rocky. “I ain’t no Knicks fan. I am a Knick.”

According to court records cited by FOX 4, Anthony’s legal team has now formally notified the court that it intends to appeal. Legal experts note that filing a notice of appeal is a routine procedure in serious felony cases and does not automatically result in a new trial or a reversal of the conviction. Instead, appellate courts will review whether any legal errors occurred during the proceedings that could have affected the outcome.

As BOSSIP previously reported, Anthony’s highly publicized trial centered on the April 2025 confrontation at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, which ended with Austin Metcalf’s death. Prosecutors argued that Karmelo committed an unjustified and deliberate attack after a dispute under a team tent during a rain delay. Defense attorneys maintained throughout the trial that Anthony acted in self-defense, claiming he feared for his safety during the confrontation. Jurors quickly and ultimately rejected that argument and found him guilty of murder.

Karmelo has since been transferred to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice while the appeal process begins, a process that could take months or even years to resolve.

Outside the court, supporters of Anthony and supporters of Metcalf clashed in heated confrontations that lead to two arrests. One arrest was a Black man named Sholdon Daniels who is Dallas-area attorney and former Republican congressional candidate on the charge of public intoxication. The second arrest was of a man named Jerome Winston for unlawfully carrying a weapon.

As Bravo’s The Valley heads into an explosive second half of the season, Jasmine Goode is opening up about feeling unheard within her friend group, finding her voice as a Black queer woman on reality television, and building a future with fiancée Melissa Marie.

The reality star also spoke candidly with BOSSIP about navigating race, representation, and relationships both on and off camera, while teasing major friendship fallout, a dramatic Mexico trip, and what she promises are some of the season’s biggest moments still to come.

This season, Jasmine and Melissa have been seen settling into a new home in Sherman Oaks while diving headfirst into wedding planning. But as their relationship reaches new milestones, Jasmine has also found herself reevaluating some of the friendships around her.

A few episodes back, viewers watched Jasmine question why her concerns about “darkside” Danny Booko appeared to be dismissed while castmates were more willing to empathize with Lala Kent’s experiences. The moment sparked an emotional conversation with Kristen Doute in which Jasmine candidly expressed feeling unheard and questioned whether race played a role in how her feelings were received.

“For me, it’s always been a struggle sometimes with this group to express my feelings,” Jasmine told BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada. “I just wanted my friends to understand this: you can ride for somebody all day if you want to, but remember your true friends who’ve been here for you from day one. They matter and deserve to have that space as well.”

According to Jasmine, much of the conversation never made it to air.

She told BOSSIP that Doute became emotional after hearing her perspective and admitted she hadn’t fully understood how isolated Jasmine felt in those moments.

“It was so hard to watch them be so open and caring and soft with Lala when literally that’s all I wanted,” Jasmine said. “I feel the same way. I’m having these triggers, I’m having these issues, but it was always, ‘Jasmine, be quiet. You’re too much. You’re being loud.'”

The discussion underscored the unique challenges she’s faced existing in a mostly-white friend group while trying to ensure her voice is heard.

Fortunately, she hasn’t had to navigate those challenges alone.

Throughout the season, Melissa has remained a steady presence by her side, helping Jasmine stay grounded amid the pressures of reality television and wedding planning.

“Thank God I have Melissa,” Jasmine told BOSSIP. “There are times where I’m like, ‘I’m going to tweet this’ or post something, and she’s like, ‘Do not do that.’ She keeps me grounded.”

That support has become increasingly important as the couple prepares for their next chapter together.

Although wedding planning currently occupies most of their attention, Jasmine revealed that she and Melissa are already taking steps toward growing their family.

“Melissa’s got the kit already,” Jasmine joked about their family planning. “We just gotta get the sperm. I’m trying to get pregnant right away. Once the wedding is done, I’m literally like, doctor’s appointment. I’m really trying to start the process.”

For Jasmine, sharing those milestones publicly is not only about documenting her own life, but also about representation.

As one of the few Black queer women featured prominently on Bravo, she understands the significance of showing an authentic, layered relationship on television, particularly for younger viewers who may be searching for examples they never had growing up.

When we asked what she hopes a younger version of herself would see while watching The Valley, Jasmine said authenticity above all else.

“Someone that’s strong and living their truth,” she told BOSSIP. “Growing up, I never really saw queer people on reality TV much or Black women on reality TV. I think my younger self would be proud to see that you’re living your truth and not letting people silence you.”

Of course, this is still The Valley, and personal growth doesn’t mean the drama is slowing down.

The season’s midseason trailer teased major fallout among the cast, particularly during a trip to Mexico, where Jasmine hinted that friendships will be pushed to their limits. That includes her relationship with longtime friend Zack Wickham, whose loyalty she begins to question as tensions within the group continue to escalate.

“You think right now these little conversations are something? No. It’s going to be explosive,” Jasmine teased. “A lot of friendships are going to be tested, and I think viewers are going to be surprised.”

Whether she’s challenging her friends to see her perspective, preparing to walk down the aisle, or taking the first steps toward motherhood, Jasmine’s journey this season has delivered a nuanced portrait of a Black queer woman embracing every part of who she is, and that’s what we really wanna see in The Valley.

Home of some the world’s prettiest beaches with an ever-growing selection of luxurious villas, it’s no surprise that the islands attracted over 2 million visitors in 2025 alone.

In a behind-the-scenes video shared by both Rihanna and EE72 creative director Edward Enninful. The 9 month old can be seen spending time on set with her mother, including one sweet moment where she reaches for and plays with Rih’s necklace.

This video is one of the rare public appearances of Rocki this summer as she approaches her first birthday in September. The little girl, whose full name is Rocki Irish Mayers, is Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s third child and first daughter. The couple also share sons RZA, 4, and Riot, 2. Rocki first captured public attention earlier this year when she made her magazine debut alongside her mother on the cover of W, all dressed up in a custom Dior Haute Couture look created especially for the shoot.

Since her arrival in September 2025, Rocki has quickly become a favorite among fans. Rihanna proudly introduced her daughter to the world through the W cover, joking on Instagram that baby Rocki “served sumn serious” and even “shut her mama dowwwnn” during her first professional photoshoot.

One of the most interesting mysteries in early 2000s pop culture has officially been solved, and the answer is less scandalous than you may think.

Michelle Williams pulled up to Keke Palmer’s Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast this week, and addressed the viral 2001 Destiny’s Child interview that has had fans convinced for a quarter of a century that Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle were faaaar from sober during it.

If you’ve never seen the clip in question, the X post from @Yubbie007 will catch you right up. The three women are giggly, a little loopy, and giving answers that feel just slightly disconnected from the questions being asked. In one of the most iconic moments in the entire clip, Beyoncé announces with complete sincerity that if she could be any animal, she would be a whale.

“I know what I’d be, I’d be a whale. Iove whales,” said Beyoncé while eating.

“I think I would be a bird because they can fly,” added Kelly.

“I would like to be a black panther,” said Michelle amid a round of ‘oohs and ‘aahs,’ before imitating the movement of the felines.

Fans have been using this clip as evidence for two decades to surmise the trio was high during the sit down.

Unfortunately for fans stuck on the theory, Michelle said their actions were much more innocent than they looked.

“There is one interview we did where people think we’re high,” she told Keke. “I promise y’all Matthew and Tina Knowles was not playing that. We were not under the influence of any substance!” 

And just in case anyone thought she might be covering for a youthful indiscretion with a 25-year cushion, she went further.

“We were really tired,” she continued. “There were no edibles. It was literally jet lag. We were delusional. Media training is great, but when you’re tired, you can’t hide it.” 

As People reported, the explanation tracks entirely when you consider what Destiny’s Child’s schedule actually looked like in 2001. These were three young women running on a promotional treadmill that did not stop for weekends, time zones, or basic human rest. Michelle explained the group was running on fumes when they sat down for the interview, but definitely not under the influence of anything other than a brutal international schedule. 

Michelle also made the point that would resonate with anyone who has ever tried to perform at full capacity while running on empty.

“[Media training] can only take you so far, especially when you are exhausted and sitting in a room answering questions that you may not particularly love,” Michelle added.

And let us be honest: if Mathew and Tina Knowles were managing and supporting this group at the height of their career, the very suggestion that they would have allowed three young women to show up to a press interview in any state other than professional is genuinely difficult to believe. 

The comments under every post covering this story have been split right down the middle between people who are fully accepting the jet lag explanation with love and grace, and people who are watching the original clip on a loop and respectfully declining to be convinced.

We believe Michelle Williams. We also believe that jet lag is real, that Beyoncé would hypothetically be a whale, and that this clip will continue circulating for another 25 years regardless of any clarification offered.

Smith and President Donald Trump erupted into a full-blown public spat this week after Trump blasted the sports commentator as “dumb as a rock” and an “arrogant fool” following Smith’s criticism of his appearance at Game 3 of the NBA Finals in New York.

The conflict began when Smith, a lifelong New York Knicks fan, strongly objected to Trump attending the Finals matchup between the Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. Two Bravolebrities are causing a #RHOA ruckus with a beef that’s reached a new level. Drew Sidora and Kelli Potter traded shade Tuesday (June 10) amid Drew’s recent comments about the fellow mom’s body, likening it to a “stuffed cornish hen.”

“The AUDACITY!” responded the mom of four, who then shaded the singer’s recently revealed plastic surgery.

Kelli and Drew’s drama reached a fever pitch this week after Drew interviewed with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea with Evan Real and Danny Murphy, and said she never fully understood why Potter took issue with her, suggesting that the conflict may stem from larger tension “wrapped up” among other members of the cast.

When asked whether she had ever visited one of Potter’s Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles restaurants, Drew delivered a notably shady response. She claimed she had only visited the location that was “closed” before referring to Potter as a “stuffed Cornish hen.” Drew also hinted that those allegations about Potter sleeping with a married pastor may also be revealed during the reunion later this season.

Mind you, this is the SECOND time Drew shaded Kelli and likened her to a piece of poultry. The Housewife also said something similar on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when asked about her previously calling Kelli “Ms. Proportions.”

The Cornish hen remarks eventually made their way back to Kelli, who responded by taking aim at Drew’s appearance and plastic surgery journey, posting before-and-after photos on social media.

“Drew, you’ll always be a Spongebob box shaped Buick even after you got the P special,” Potter fired back. She also used the opportunity to promote her Cornish hen recipe from her cookbook, Kooking With Kelli.

Drew then entered the chat, sharing before-and-after photos of Kelli captioned, “we love a before and after…”

before flaunting her new figure while promoting her new music.
