Brantley, who has 16 years of professional experience in audio engineering and post-production, told the outlet she enhanced the recording using traditional editing techniques, not AI, to isolate background conversations that she believes investigators have yet to publicly address. Upon first hearing the audio released by WLOX, Brantley says she wanted to have a clearer, less obstructed listen to the very suspicious audio.

“I just wanted to hear. I wanted to hear what I thought I heard before I even attempted to touch it,” she said tearfully. “When I heard the ‘can we cover this up,’ there was instant anger, disgust. I was disheartened.”

She explained that she intentionally avoided AI-powered audio tools because they can introduce sounds that weren’t originally present, saying she wanted the recording to remain as authentic as possible. 

“[AI] can introduce sounds that were never there to begin with.” She continued, “Because I know that, that’s the 100% main reason why I chose not to use any type of AI, including the plugins that I know are AI-assisted at its core.”

After cleaning up the audio, Brantley claims she heard several alarming background statements, including voices allegedly mentioning Nolan by name and other phrases she believes raise additional questions about what happened aboard the boat. Those disturbing questioned prompted her to share her findings publicly so others could listen and draw their own conclusions. She also noted that, despite the attention her enhanced recording has received, including being featured on large platform’s like Nancy Grace’s show and elsewhere, no investigators have contacted her about her work. 

Russell Latino, the lawyer of one of the boys who purports himself a friend of Nolan spoke out against the audio during an appearance on Chris Cuomo’s NewsNation show CUOMO.

“You know, when you and I were boys, Chris, we played the game Clue, and we got to guess who was responsible for the bastardly deed and how they did it and where they did it,” Latino said. “That’s not real life, or at least it shouldn’t be. But that is what is happening on social media.”

He continued:

“There are an awful lot of people that are assuming that the people who loved Nolan, that considered him their friends, are culpable in his death,” Latino said. “We don’t see any legitimacy in a doctored transcript or doctored audio that comes with a transcript, which is a nice psychological sort of game that people play with garbled audio.”

Strong words. Interesting that Mr. Latino didn’t draw any comparison between the raw audio that was released in an attempt to explain what was actually said. One might even say that his lack of effort is telling.

The WNBA star filed for divorce in Fulton County, Ga. on July 30, per court records obtained by People. Despite previous reports claiming they had been married since 2019, these documents clarify that the couple wed in June 2018. The papers also state their date of separation as July 24, 2026.

Brittney and Cherelle met while they were students at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. In her petition, the Connecticut Sun star deemed their union “irretrievably broken.” They share a two-year-old son, Bash, and Brittney is seeking joint legal custody, according to reports from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Cherelle was the biggest advocate for her wife a couple years back when she was detained and imprisoned in Russia in February 2022. After vape cartridges containing cannabis oil were found in her bag, Griner was charged with smuggling “narcotic drugs” into the country–where marijuana is illegal–and received a 9-year sentence.

Four months after she was initially sentenced, much in part due to Cherelle’s constant pleas to Preisdent Biden, Brittney was released from Russian prison in December 2022.

After finally getting to see her wife again, Cherelle spoke to People about their emotional first day together.

“I had thought about that moment a thousand times, and I thought I would be full of tears,” she told the outlet. “But I was overwhelmingly happy. It was the first time I was able to finally exhale, and I’m like, ‘Oh, thank God, this is such a great day.’ “

“I couldn’t stop touching her face,” Cherelle continued to recall from their reunion. “I was like, ‘Is this really you?’ It did not feel real. It was chilling — and warm. I was just holding on tight. I couldn’t let her go.”

The attorney went on to describe what it was like when they finally returned to their home:

“The first night, we didn’t sleep at all,” she said with a laugh. “We just talked all night long and all morning. And it was so good to be able to do it without three weeks in between the conversation, because for 10 months we were passing letters. It was great to have that dialogue back and forth.”

Neither party has commented publicly on their divorce since the filing was made public.

The Grammy-winning rapper surprised fans on Thursday night with the release of “AH HA,” an energetic new single produced by DJ SwanQo, the same producer behind her chart-topping hit “Up.” Packed with Cardi’s signature confidence, the track sees her clowning critics, flexing her success, and taking aim at anyone who’s doubted her along the way.

At one point, she even throws in a playful “na na na boo boo,” proving she’s still got that signature sense of humor.

“AH HA” marks Cardi’s first solo release since dropping her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, back in September. The project was long-awaited following her Grammy-winning debut, Invasion of Privacy, and featured appearances from Cash Cobain, Tyla, Selena Gomez, Janet Jackson, and Lizzo.

The Bronx native has spent much of the past year celebrating the album’s success. D4vd is going to trial.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled that prosecutors presented enough evidence during a five-day preliminary hearing to order the 21-year-old singer-songwriter, born David Anthony Burke, to stand trial on charges stemming from the 2025 killing of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

During the multi-day hearing, forensic experts, criminalists and prosecutors outlined what they allege was a calculated killing and attempted cover-up, presenting physical and digital evidence surrounding the teen’s death.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, prosecutors called 12 witnesses who testified about evidence they say links Burke to the alleged murder. District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said the hearing represented “a small but illustrative fraction” of the evidence investigators have accumulated.

“D4vd allegedly squandered his fame and fortune by brutally killing a young girl because he feared their illicit sexual relationship would ruin his aspiring career,” Hochman said in a statement. “The only headlines that will accompany his stage name from here forward will be about the vicious murder of a young girl.”

Burke has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors Present The Timeline Of Alleged Events

Investigators allege that D4d killed Celested Rivas inside his Hollywood Hills residence in April 2025. As previously reported, Burke set up a blue inflatable pool in his garage to contain the blood splatter before using online-purchased chainsaws to dismember her body. LAPD criminalists testified to discovering trace DNA consistent with Rivas on a rowing machine, charging cables, and bloodstains beneath brick mats in the garage.

The teenager’s remains were eventually double-bagged inside two heavy-duty cadaver bags and stored in the front trunk of Burke’s Tesla, where they sat decomposing for over four months until the impounded vehicle was towed to a Hollywood lot in September 2025. The car was found with 11 individual air fresheners stuffed throughout the luxury vehicle in a desperate bid to mask the overwhelming smell of decay.

Beyond the physical crime scene evidence, prosecutors reconstructed a deeply troubling digital paper trail detailing the illegal, predatory nature of the pair’s relationship. Text messages recovered from Burke’s iPhone showed that the two first connected in January 2022 when Rivas was just 11 years old. By late 2023, when Rivas was 13 and Burke was 18, the relationship turned sexual, eventually leading to a pregnancy and subsequent abortion in early 2024.

In emotional text exchanges from August 2024, Rivas expressed deep remorse over the abortion, writing to Burke, “i care abt u i killed my kid [for] you… id do anything to have it back.” However, by Spring 2025, they had made a turn for the worse. Text messages presented during D4vd’s case showed intense arguments fueled by jealousy, boundary issues, and Rivas’ desire to end their in-person relationship. On April 22, 2025, the night before her murder, Rivas threatened to publicly expose their illegal relationship and reveal intimate details that would ruin his exploding music career.

Fearing the immediate destruction of his public image and multi-million dollar recording contracts, prosecutors argue Burke arranged an Uber to transport the 14-year-old to his home the following evening to permanently silence her.

Burke currently faces several charges, including first-degree murder with special circumstances, continuous child sexual abuse, and unlawful mutilation of human remains. Due to the special circumstance allegations of lying in wait and killing a witness, the 21-year-old faces a potential maximum sentence of life in prison without parole or the death penalty if convicted.

Burke’s defense team, led by attorney Marilyn Bednarski has attempted to poke holes in the timeline, arguing that the advanced decomposition makes establishing a precise time or method of death scientifically impossible.

“We had the first Rum Festival,” she said. “So I had to give a vibe.”

The host also embraced the occasion with a hairstyle inspired by her Caribbean roots.

“I wanted to bring roots, vibes,” she said. “Caribbean people, we’re so dope. We are such a beautiful culture. Why not? Why not bring that nostalgic vibe? I wanted to bring it nice and early 2000s.”

Founder Marc Walcott Shares The Vision

Festival founder Marc Walcott said Rum Island Festival was created to celebrate Atlanta’s expanding Caribbean population while creating an immersive experience centered on culture, community, and rum.

During a recent appearance on ATL Live on Atlanta News First, Walcott explained the inspiration behind the event.

“Atlanta has a huge and growing Caribbean population, and we wanted to bring something new and exciting to the city,” Walcott said. “We wanted to create an experience where people can connect with Caribbean culture through food, music, community, and celebration.”

The festival featured curated rum tastings, cocktail activations, a Caribbean food village, and culinary offerings ranging from jerk chicken and rice and peas to chow mein and fried plantains.

Music Kept The Celebration Going

Live entertainment remained at the center of the festival throughout the day.

Attendees enjoyed standout performances from:

• Aidonia, who energized the crowd with a hit-filled Dancehall set.
• Ayetian, who kept the momentum going with an engaging performance.

The celebration also featured music from an all-star DJ lineup, including:

Organizers also partnered with Her Village Inc., a nonprofit supporting families experiencing financial hardship, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Local Vendors Helped Bring The Festival To Life

Beyond the music and food, local vendors showcased handcrafted products and small businesses throughout the festival grounds.

Vendor April Miller, also known as Snootie of TheeSnootieWay, said connecting with attendees was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience.

“My favorite part of being a vendor at the festival was the opportunity to meet so many different people and showcase my talents,” Miller said.

Her booth featured custom jewelry including rings, crystal bracelets, and waist beads, along with resin rolling trays, ashtrays, resin knuckles, reusable water bottles, mini fans, and freshly made pineapple lychee lemonade and peach hibiscus tea.

Looking Toward The Future

Although Rum Island Festival marked its inaugural year, Pretty Vee is already optimistic about what comes next.

“Just the vibe, the people, the culture, the music,” she said when asked what she hopes attendees remember most.

She also believes the festival has plenty of room to grow.

“We’re gonna have bigger and better artists. We’re gonna have a bigger crowd. We’re gonna do it big,” she said. “I’m just excited to be the host for the first one, and hopefully I’m coming back for the second one, for sure.”

With live performances, Caribbean cuisine, local entrepreneurs, and a celebration rooted in culture and community, Rum Island Festival made a memorable first impression and appears poised to become a new staple on Atlanta’s summer festival calendar.

The annual festival announced on Thursday, July 30 that ThriftCon Live at ComplexCon is officially coming to Los Angeles this fall, taking over an entire exhibition hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center during the event’s Oct. 3 and 4 festivities.

Dubbed the largest vintage experience in ComplexCon history, the activation will span more than 100,000 square feet and feature over 90 of the world’s top vintage dealers and collectors. Attendees can expect thousands of handpicked items ranging from rare vintage clothing and iconic streetwear to jewelry, watches, sports memorabilia, retro collectibles, accessories and even home goods.

“Vintage has become one of the biggest forces shaping fashion and collecting today,” said Sannia Shahid, Vice President of Marketplace at Complex NTWRK. “Bringing ThriftCon to ComplexCon on this scale creates an entirely new experience for attendees, giving them access to the world’s best collectors and pieces.”

Every vendor has been carefully selected based on the quality and authenticity of their collections, making the experience appealing to everyone from seasoned collectors hunting for grails to casual shoppers looking for their next favorite find.

The partnership also marks the first full-scale vintage takeover in ComplexCon’s history, further expanding the event’s already stacked lineup of exclusive product drops, immersive brand activations, live music, food experiences and celebrity-filled panel discussions.

For ThriftCon co-founder Mario Conte, the collaboration feels like a full-circle moment.

“ComplexCon is one of the early inspirations for ThriftCon. We were fans long before we built anything, and coming back a second time with a footprint this size means a lot to us. Major shoutout to Complex for recognizing and including the sellers and curators that make up our amazing community. These are 90 individuals who’ve spent years developing an eye, and now their collections will appear alongside some of the biggest drops in the world,” he said.

This year’s event is especially significant as ComplexCon celebrates its 10th anniversary. The festival will once again take over the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena, bringing together some of the biggest names in fashion, music, art and entertainment for a weekend packed with shopping, performances and immersive experiences.

And if the idea of spending hours hunting for a perfectly worn vintage band tee or uncovering an unexpected collectible sounds like heaven, ThriftCon Live may end up being the main event.

Tamar Braxton is making it clear that she has “no beef” with Kandi Burruss following their viral run-in at ESSENCE Festival. But if you ask Kandi, the tension between the two is still very real.

As previously reported, the awkward moment unfolded after Burruss was honored at the festival’s Black Women in Hollywood event. When Tamar congratulated her, social media users quickly zeroed in on Kandi’s apparent side-eye and fake smile, fueling speculation that the longtime tension between the reality stars was far from over. Now, Braxton is setting the record straight with a new interview on The Morning Hustle.

During a July 29 interview on The Morning Hustle, Tamar was asked by Lore’l about the viral interaction and whether she regretted congratulating Burruss, and the singer said she wouldn’t change her actions.

“I was at an event, a professional celebratory event. I said congratulations, and I went on about my business,” Tamar explained. “I do not regret saying congratulations. I don’t care who you are. You know, we can have beef all day long, right? It’s not like I said, ‘Oh, let’s go to lunch.’ I am not that kind of person.”

Tamar made it clear that she wanted no drama with the Xscape singer. 

“I don’t want beef in my life. I really do enjoy my peace. I love my life. I have great friends. You know, I have people who really love me, vice versa,” she explained. “And that’s it. Everyone on the stage was being honored, and that was one of those events where you know you should just show gratitude and be kind and move on.”

Lore’l said she believed social media sleuths blew the situation “out of proportion,” and Tamar agreed.

“I think that whoever brought it to the internet wanted that kind of reaction….I don’t have any beef with anybody other than the devil,” the “Love & War” singer added.

Kandi Burruss alleged she had ANOTHER shady interaction with Tamar shortly after their ESSENCE festival encounter.

That moment of peace lasted shortly because Kandi doesn’t appear to see things the same way.

After The Jasmine Brand reposted a clip from Tamar’s Morning Hustle interview, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum jumped into the comments, claiming the two had another tense interaction shortly after their ESSENCE Festival encounter.

“No beef?.. but she was just calling me a btch as she walked pass [sic] me at a party last Saturday,” the actress, singer, and Broadway star alleged. “Can’t do the fake sht.”

Kandi also shared a photo that read:

“Taurus never play victim, they LOVE telling people why they’re the villain and why the victim got what they deserved.” 

While she didn’t directly explain the post, many fans took it as a subtle message, especially since Kandi—born May 17—is famously a Taurus. She added, “Stay tuned.”

The subliminal shots did not stop there. The former Housewife also reposted a clip from a July 24 interview featuring Jason Lee and Carlos King, in which Lee accused Braxton of “using” him and his platform, Hollywood Unlocked, to “attack Kandi.” He also claimed he felt it was an act of “betrayal” by someone he once considered a friend.

In a five-minute video shared Wednesday, the author referred to the Paramount production as “the worst thing I have ever had to live through” and revealed that she no longer wants to discuss the project publicly.

Adeyemi, who helped write the screenplay for the adaptation of her acclaimed African fantasy novel, has previously shared that she has no intention of watching the movie after spending time on set during filming.

“What I’m about to share is not a secret to the people involved,” she said in the social media clip. “It’s a reality that I’ve had to live with for about a year and a half, and everyone involved, at least at the highest level, has been made aware of this reality, and they haven’t done anything to make it better. If anything, they’ve only antagonized me, and I accept that. But I also accept if I don’t say something, I think it’s just going to be worse.”

The author alleged that she left the set of Children of Blood and Bone “hyperventilating and sobbing” and claimed she continues to be “antagonized behind the scenes.” Representatives for Adeyemi, Paramount and director Gina Prince-Bythewood did not immediately respond to Variety’s requests for comment.

“I’m not going to speak on what I endured to make it through the young adult trilogy, and I’m not going to speak about everything that I also suffered through or endured to make the adaptation a reality,” Adeyemi said. “I’m actually only going to speak about what happened after I left that set of my own film adaptation, hyperventilating and sobbing. There are many witnesses, so it’s not really a secret. I came back to America and suffered such severe somatic pain and so many panic attacks. I knew it was so bad that I would never ever be able to watch this film, and I made peace with that.”

She went on to explain that the release of the film’s trailer earlier this week, coupled with what she described as ongoing issues behind the scenes, ultimately pushed her to speak out.

“But as it is being marketed,” Adeyemi continued, referencing the trailer which launched on Tuesday, “And as I am still being antagonized behind the scenes, which is where I hoped all of this would stay, it’s become apparent to me that reality needs to at least be made known, so that you guys can understand how this film, which I worked on to make it a little better for us to be alive, is also the worst thing I have ever had to live through.”

Earlier this month, Adeyemi posted-and-deleted a TikTok that appeared to include a group chat featuring Children of Blood and Bone star Amandla Stenberg. According to the Los Angeles Times, Adeyemi wrote, “Do not ever use my name in an interview or video again. Do not text me. Do not call me” before seemingly blocking the actress. Stenberg previously faced criticism from some fans over her casting as Princess Amari amid accusations of colorism.

Stenberg addressed the controversy in a TikTok video last year that has since been removed.

“I am four months into training for Children of Blood and Bone and I am getting my ass whooped,” Stenberg previously said in a deleted TikTok video last year. “I want everyone to know that this is important to me, and I think about it with every choice that I make. I would never navigate my career blindly, not thinking about my skin tone or the space I occupy. I would never go after a role I didn’t feel was right for me. I want to see all skin tones represented in media. I know that colorism is an insidious system that relentlessly impacts every facet of entertainment.”

Despite speculation surrounding a possible dispute with Stenberg, Adeyemi has not publicly disclosed what allegedly took place during production.

Toward the end of her video, the author emphasized that she is trying to move on from the experience entirely.

“I don’t wish to speak on it anymore. I don’t know if that’s possible,” Adeyemi said in the clip posted on Wednesday. “I understand that I have a public presence, and that this is a global project. It’s probably useless posting a video. I really don’t know. I don’t do things like this, but I also understand that being silent about it is making the pain a lot worse. And even though it feels awful to share this, it’s better to share it and have it known and understood before I see a bunch of you for this new book. So please understand, I never want to hear about this project again. I don’t have anything to say about the people who made it. I do not care anymore. I’m trying to move on. This video might make it worse, but I don’t know how it can be any worse. So I’m just going to share that and let it live.”

Children of Blood and Bone is set to hit theaters on Jan. 15.

The buzzy affair (which made history as one of the largest gatherings in the organization’s history) featured legislative sessions, leadership activities, educational programming, community engagement initiatives, and celebratory events while celebrating the storied sorority’s enduring commitment to service, scholarship, leadership, and global impact.

One of the week’s defining moments was the installation of Charletta Wilson Jacks as the Sorority’s 32nd International President & CEO.

Described as a transformational leader with decades of executive leadership and sorority service, Mrs. Jacks officially assumed leadership of the organization during an installation ceremony attended by thousands of members and distinguished guests.

“The 72nd Boule represented more than a gathering of members — it was a powerful demonstration of sisterhood in action,” said organizational leaders.

“As Alpha Kappa Alpha moves into its next chapter of leadership, the Sorority remains steadfast in its mission of service to all mankind while expanding its influence across communities throughout the world.”

Kanye went on to explain that the album’s success represents something much bigger than chart positions. For him, it’s a personal victory after publicly navigating mental health challenges.

With all the things that were done, with all the things that were said, and for you guys to be so forgiving and so supportive, it just means the world to me.”

Colby Colb, Senior Vice President of Programming at Radio One, shared his thoughts on Kanye West saying Bully is more meaningful to him than some of his classic albums.

“I find it quite interesting considering all the tremendous success he’s had in his career. He also had a period of darkness, so it kinda makes sense. DJ Envy is letting us in on a (smelly) secret that was probably better left unsaid, explaining how his shower habits changed with the help of his wife, Gia Casey.

This conversation is brought to you by the Tuesday, July 28, episode of The Breakfast Club. On the show, the crew discussed a recent video from Eric Benét, who posted a clip addressing men who believe washing their behinds with soap and water makes them “gay,” saying they are likely closeted. He also advised those men to “wash your a** expeditiously.”

In response to this, DJ Envy admitted that he was once one of those men who didn’t practice proper hygiene. But, with the help of his (very patient) wife, he learned how to properly bathe himself.

“All right, confession confession. I tell too much up here—my wife hates it but it’s all good,” the radio host began. “So yes, I used to be the type of guy that didn’t ‘get up all in there.’ But I never thought about it. It’s not a conversation to have with the fellas at the barber shop when we out and about like, ‘Hey fellas, did you wash your ass?’”

He continued, “One day me and Gia—this [was] a long time ago, you know, we take showers with each other, we wash each other. And one day she got all in there, and I’m like ‘Whoa.’ And then I realized I’m supposed to wash my a** thoroughly and correctly. So ever since that I’m like, ‘I wash my a**.’ But you should get up all in there, you don’t want stinky a**.”

This is a 48-year-old man, by the way.

After hearing that story, co-host Jess Hilarious teased Envy about his past oversight, asking if his wife had to “detail” his backside to remove “dingleberries and all the butt crust” and asking if his boxers used to be “crunchy at the end of the night.”

That’s when Envy clarified that his briefs “are not crunchy anymore” because that was when he was younger.

“Imagine how long before that happened she was really thinking about like really probably breaking up with you,” Hilarious joked. “That’s probably why she didn’t orgasm either.”

Charlamagne Tha God was in disbelief over the whole conversation, adding: “I’ve never in my life heard this nonsense that y’all are speaking this morning…What’s the difference between washing your a** and masturbating?” he said. “If y’all think washing your a** is gay, what do y’all think masturbation [is]?”

Charlamagne went on to indulge us by detailing his own hygiene routine, which involves using three separate washcloths for his body, face, and private areas.

She also shared why she’d love to see Kenya Moore return to the series.

Kelli Potter on Reality With The King: Kelli Potter says she changed the game on #RHOA and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. 

The conversation kicked off with Kelli looking back at her fiery showdown with Porsha Williams that nearly turned physical earlier this season.

Fans will remember the now-infamous dinner where the two Housewives traded explosive accusations. Kelli accused Porsha of sleeping with “every Nigerian in Atlanta,” prompting Porsha to fire back by claiming Kelli had “f–ked everybody,” including a “married a** man” she alleged was a married preacher.

Carlos praised Kelli for standing her ground during the heated exchange, and Kelli made it clear she’s never been one to back down.

“It’s never been a scary bone in my body. And you will know that. I don’t give a f__k. I’m going to say exactly what I want to say and I’mma say exactly how the f__k I feel at all costs with anybody.”

She added:

“Yes, we’ll fight. I’ll pick up a f__king chair if I need to, but that’s just what it is. You can’t think that you can say what you want to say to me and I’m not going to say something back to you.”

From there, Kelli shifted the conversation from the drama to her lifestyle, insisting that viewers are only now getting a glimpse into the “fabulous” life she’s always lived.

“I have been fabulous my whole life. I was the f__king line leader in kindergarten. Okay. I was wearing Manolo Blahnicks in high school. Dolce & Gabbana in high school…I have always been that f_king girl. I had reindeers at Christmas…. Like, listen, this has always been my life.”

She continued:

“I’m just now starting to film it and show the world. And y’all coming down on the f__king roofing of my life… But when it comes to my life, you better scroll back on Instagram and see.”

Kelli also dismissed the idea that she joined #RHOA hoping to emulate any of the women already on the cast. According to her, she had already achieved everything she wanted long before Bravo came calling. She believes she set the standard for the glitz and glam the ladies now have on the show.

“It’s nothing that they had that I wanted. I’ve already had it all. I’ve had the life. I didn’t need their lives,” she told King boldly. “I mean, if you look at it, I came in my first season and really set the standard for a lot of these ladies. I mean, when it comes to fashion, when it comes to content, they weren’t doing content in Season 16. Nobody had their own videographer and photographer. Elliot and I have been working together for eight years.”

Kelli proudly continued:

“Prior to me even filming, when it came to events, I always did events. You can look back on my page. I didn’t host an event at William Sonoma because of being on this show. No, I’ve hosted several events with William Sonoma prior to being on the show. When it comes to Balman, I hosted a birthday party in Balman. Shut down the store. These women couldn’t do that because they really don’t shop in the stores.”

She added:

“When it came to police escorts, I’ve always had a police escort. Like security. I mean, these things for me, it’s just like this is a joke for me. I just feel like maybe they don’t want to give me my flowers, but I set a lot of standards for these ladies.”

Kelli even claimed her arrival on the show elevated everyone’s style game, saying she helped some of the women connect with stylists.

“They needed it… And I love that for them. They should. You should be spending the money. Y’all make enough. You should be. You should be reinvesting in yourselves and your careers.”

Kelli wants Marlo and Kenya back.

While discussing former Housewives, Kelli gave Marlo Hampton her flowers for the unforgettable event she threw in Phipps Plaza in Season 4 and called Marlo both “fabulous” and “real.” She also admitted she’d love to see Kenya Moore make her return to the franchise.

Although Kelli entered the show as a friend of Brittany Eady, she revealed she had developed a genuine friendship with Kenya Moore before the veteran Housewife’s exit.

“And let me just tell you this because I know everybody’s like, ‘Ah, you’re friends with Brit.’ Listen, at the end of the day, yes, I was friends with her, but I was truly creating a friendship with Kenya. And me and Kenya had a real connection in regards to truly getting to know each other and having so many things in common.”

She continued by explaining exactly why she respects Kenya.

“I look at Kenya as a big sister. I think that she is smart. I think that she is talented. I think that she’s an amazing mom. And I think she’s a great entrepreneur. No matter where she is now, what I love about her is she did what she wanted to do. And nothing beats a failure but a try, right? And that’s one thing that I admire about her. She was never a negative person in regards to me just coming in and just like putting that big wing out and saying, ‘Hey you might want to do this. You might want to do that. You might want to keep it real. Keep it honest.’ You know, like just truly being genuine and being a genuine person. And that’s what I like about Kenya. I would love for her to be back.”

Jordan officially unveiled the first trailer for The Thomas Crown Affair, a deliciously dapper new heist thriller that he not only stars in, but also directs and produces.

The trailer arrives just days after Marvel fans were sent into a frenzy when Ryan Coogler announced at San Diego Comic-Con that British actor David Jonsson will take over the Black Panther mantle as T’Challa II in Black Panther 3.

According to Entertainment Tonight, instead of keeping quiet about the casting, Jordan shared that he’s fully on board.

“I love it. It’s amazing. I can’t wait,” Jordan told the outlet when asked about Jonsson stepping into the iconic role. 

Jordan’s approval carries extra weight considering his history with the franchise. He starred opposite the late Chadwick Boseman as Erik Killmonger in 2018’s Black Panther before making a surprise return in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. While his villain may not be returning anytime soon, Jordan clearly has love for the expanding Wakandan family.

As fans continue processing Marvel’s latest casting news, Jordan is shifting the spotlight toward his own passion project.

Amazon MGM Studios officially released the first trailer for The Thomas Crown Affair, which arrives exclusively in theaters on March 5, 2027.

According to Variety, Jordan wanted more than a traditional remake of the classic film.

“I didn’t want a reboot. I wanted a reimagination,” Jordan previously explained.

He added that his version raises the emotional stakes while keeping the fashion, romance, and intrigue that made previous adaptations so memorable.

Jordan stars as billionaire art thief Thomas Crown opposite Adria Arjona — who plays the determined investigator tracking him down. Kenneth Branagh joins the cast as a powerful antagonist, while Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira and Pilou Asbæk round out an impressive ensemble. Amazon MGM Studios reports that Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste also composed the film’s original score. 

The trailer teases plenty of luxury, romance and globe-trotting action, but Jordan’s version comes with a modern twist. Rather than stealing priceless artwork for the thrill of it, his Thomas Crown appears determined to return valuable artifacts to their rightful owners. This adds a fresh layer of purpose to the iconic character.

The fight for answers in the suspicious death of Nolan Wells has entered a new phase, with his mother, Christine Wells-Wonsley, casting an even wider net in search of the truth.

According to TMZ reporting, Wells-Wonsley has filed subpoenas seeking records from several major tech companies, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, TikTok and Life360, hoping the digital trail left behind by her late son will help answer questions that investigators still haven’t resolved. The requests reportedly seek everything from current and previous usernames, email addresses and phone numbers to login IP addresses, password reset activity and metadata tied to Nolan’s accounts. 

The subpoenas also demand copies of posts, stories, direct messages, chats, photos, videos, GPS information, friend lists and any other stored account data. TMZ says the requests extend to information that could identify people who communicated with Nolan through the various platforms. 

One detail stands out in particular. During her own efforts to retrace Nolan’s final movements, Christine reportedly compared location information from Life360 with Snapchat data and found the timelines didn’t match, raising even more questions about what happened before the 18-year-old was found dead after disappearing during a Fourth of July trip to Mississippi’s Horn Island. 

BOSSIP has been following this heartbreaking case from the beginning, and it’s clear Nolan’s family isn’t going to accept unanswered questions or rest on the laurels of law enforcement. With an independent investigation already underway, these subpoenas signal that Nolan Wells’ family is determined to examine every digital breadcrumb possible. Whether the social media giants hand over information that fills in the blanks remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the deceased teenager’s loved ones are leaving no stone unturned in their relentless pursuit of answers.

Ms. Wells-Wonsley recently posted a video to TikTok expressing her and her family’s emotional state saying, “This grief is just different.”

“I miss hearing him say, ‘I love you, Mom.’ I just miss all of those things. And I know that we will not have that again. I will not be able to hear those words. I will not be able to put my arms around him. Like, I know that. And we’re just trying to make it through.”

Then, the grieving mother begged “strangers” (see, white people) to stop sending hateful messages to her on social media.

“Me and my family, we don’t owe anybody anything. The only thing we did initially, we just asked a question. We just asked a question. We asked, ‘What happened to Nolan?’ That’s it. That’s the question we asked and everyone went crazy.”

All those people can burn in the hottest part of hell for eternity. Really and truly.

The “Please Me” rapper took to Instagram Live for an early morning chat with the BardiGang on Tuesday, July 28. While speaking to the camera, Cardi responded to rumors that she recently had surgery to achieve her slimmed-down figure, which fans noticed during a recent performance at New York City’s Pacha nightclub and a video accompanying her upcoming single.

“I’m also tired of you hating-ass b****es,” Cardi began near the 6:44 mark in the recording of her IG Live. “Why every single time that I look snatched up and I look f***ing good, y’all always want to be f***ing shady like, ‘Oh, she got another surgery’ … B****h, I post every week.”

She went on to explain that she wouldn’t have had any time to go under the knife since she regularly posts content to her social media accounts, including recent trips to Paris, London, and Venice.

“When have y’all ever seen me have time off to get surgery? I’m very honest about surgery. I’m very very honest,” she said, going on to add that she previously underwent two liposuction procedures and a buttocks reduction.

While insisting that she’s “naturally petite,” Cardi explained multiple reasons why she’s able to lose weight quickly despite having given birth to four children.

“After I gave birth to my son this year, I lost weight easy. You want to know why? Cuz I went on tour. There was some cities that I ain’t going to front, the food was straight caca. It was straight shit. I wouldn’t even eat like that. I will eat a f***ing salad,” she said. “No lie, when I was on tour, I wouldn’t eat after 5:00 p.m. because if I was to eat anything while I’m performing, I could feel myself about to throw up … And when I get off the stage, my adrenaline be so high that sometimes I wouldn’t even be hungry.”

“And then I went through a breakup. Ladies, shall I say more?” Cardi added, likely referring to her split from Stefon Diggs.

Beyond prior surgery, Cardi let viewers in on some of her actual habits, including drinking fiber supplements, being consistent with her water intake, and eating light for two days ahead of any event she’s attending.

“I’m not sitting down for four months, b***h. I’m outside,” she said elsewhere in the stream. “Like I said, I like my body how it looks right now. I’m comfortable in my skin. Y’all acting like y’all new to this. Y’all been seeing my body for how many years now? Too many.”
