Call it Metrosexual 2.0. Some retailers see the gents of today as hairy sorority girls, ready to lounge in yoga pants, lightly scented candles and slip into some leggings to run errands. Check out these additions to the modern male’s closet — discuss:

Meet the megging

For the guy whose fashion icons are LMFAO and Russell Brand — you know who you are — come B-Skinz rainbow animal print leggings. They might not cut it for Casual Fridays, but they’re tailor-made for OMG Wednesdays. $29.99 at bskinz.com.

Contempt case against ex-wife has flaws

Q I filed a contempt case against my ex-wife because she didn’t let me have my court-ordered parenting time and because she moved to the other end of Massachusetts. I also asked for an award of my legal fees and a reduction in my child support payments to cover my extra travel expenses to see our children.

Then my ex filed criminal assault charges against me. The district judge ruled not guilty because I had photographs, hotel bills and witnesses who testified they were with me out of state on the day in question.

Dear Dr. John,

My 6-year-old Vizsla has always been a bit of a barking dog, but recently her barking at people seems to have increased. She is perfectly healthy and is seen regularly by our veterinarian. She has lots of energy and we take her wherever we go.

We are renting a cottage for two weeks this summer near the beach, and we are concerned about her barking at the rental property.

Today marks National Teacher Day — a way to commemorate the lasting contributions teachers have on their students.

A recent survey conducted by kars4kids, a national educational nonprofit, measured the effects teachers had on U.S. adults. According to their findings, 80 percent of adults recognize that their work ethic, time spent as a community volunteer and even their career choice was a direct result of teachers who inspired them in the classroom.
