PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Rutgers has reinstated men's lacrosse coach Brian Brecht after suspending him with pay on April 19, following allegations of verbal abuse.

The decision was announced and made effective Tuesday, nearly a month after a university investigation found that the coach used inappropriate language and exhibited unprofessional behavior on occasion at practices. The instances, though, were infrequent and not directed at individual players, the school said. The university also found no criminal or university policy violations.

PORT ST. "But both teams really grinded and I am just thrilled to take home both titles in this incredible tournament. It is really satisfying."

He and partner Daan Maasland also won 16 doubles matches.

The Atlantic Coast Conference will retain the media rights of any school that chooses to leave the conference before 2027, essentially locking its schools into the league through the length of its current television deal.

The league said Monday that presidents of 15 current and soon-to-be member schools have agreed to and signed the deal, which is effective immediately and could slam the brakes on years of realignment around college athletics.

LOS ANGELES — Not content with the NCAA women's gymnastics team title, Florida's Bridget Sloan and Alaina Johnson added to the Gators' haul on Sunday.

Sloan won the balance beam, defeating Katie Zurales of Michigan and Hanna Nordquist of Minnesota, who each scored 9.8875.

Johnson won the uneven parallel bars after she wasn't sure she'd be able to compete.
