Route 219 Now Shutdown From Lewis Run, PA to Lantz Corners, PA

At 12:57 pm, Lafayette Twp FD ordered all of Route 219 from Lewis Run, PA to Lantz Corners, PA to be shut down due to slippery conditions and multiple tractor trailers disabled in the area.

At 12:30 am, Route 219 was closed down. The road was reported to be closed from Lantz Corners to Tacks Inn. Several tractor trailers are reported to be disabled on the hill.

Tractor Trailer Stuck in Westline

At 12:00 am, a caller reported a tractor trailer stuck on Route 219. The truck was said to be in the area of Westline Road, and was having trouble making it up the hill. State Police and Chief 26 are reporting very slippery road conditions.
