First we need to add a custom PPA repository to the list of authorized system software sources:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:natecarlson/maven3

And press Enter key one more time for confirmation of adding PPA. Then all we need is run this command:

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install maven3

That’s all. Check it:

$ mvn3 --version
Apache Maven 3.0.3 (r1075438; 2011-02-28 22:31:09+0500)
Maven home: /usr/share/maven3
Java version: 1.7.0, vendor: Oracle Corporation
Java home: /usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.7.0/jre
Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: "linux", version: "3.0.0-14-generic-pae", arch: "i386", family: "unix"

Grails 2.0 Just Released!

Grails 2.0 Just Released!

Intellij IDEA 11 Just Released!

Intellij IDEA 11 Just Released!

Flex: Tweener easing functions spreadsheet

Flex: Tweener easing functions spreadsheet

Flex: Efficient flash/flex tweener — BetweenAS3

Flex: Efficient flash/flex tweener — BetweenAS3

"$ alias please = sudo"

“$ alias please = sudo”

Skrillex — First Of The Year (Equinox)

Skrillex — First Of The Year (Equinox)

Grails: What's new in Grails 2?
