Molly is one of my favorite people in the world. She’s overflowing with joy and kindness.I’d been looking forward to photographing her for a very long time, so I jumped on getting to photograph her when I was in LA a few weeks back. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a single photo of her that I didn’t love. At the end of shooting, I broke out the Instax for a few photos at the end. Molly is going to take the world by storm, so keep your eyes out for her.

Niklaas // Moscow, Pullman & Portland Portrait Photographer

I went out and shot with Niklaas yesterday. Niklaas is a photographer from Moscow, Idaho and was so rad to hang out with. He found some amazing locations over in Moscow. Seriously, if anybody wants to have their wedding in that tiny little church, I’d love to be your photographer. What a gorgeous building. And how rad is that old barn? It’s places like this that make me love the Palouse. A couple of these were shot on my iPhone. Can you figure out which ones?

This summer I was blessed to be able to photograph an incredible wedding in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. (Really fun name for a city.) I got to shoot the rehearsal dinner the night before in addition to the wedding ceremony and reception. Bryce is from Seattle and Brita is from Osh Kosh. The two of them met in Ghana, Africa. How crazy is that? Here are just a few photos from Brita & Bryce’s beautiful wedding.

It’s the day after Thanksgiving and that means that it’s officially time to start listening to Christmas music. I technically cheated and started listening to Christmas music a few weeks ago, but it was only so I could put together this amazing playlist for you all. I’m biased, but I think it’s pretty awesome. T.Y. and Peter are an amazing couple. I loved getting to photograph them and getting to peek into their lives. Their love for one another is abundantly evident. We had such a fun time. Enjoy!

Abby // Pullman & Portland Senior Portrait Photographer

Abby has been with me through it all. She came along on my very first senior portrait shoot just three years ago. I was at her house when I booked my first fashion shoot and again at her house when I talked to Kristen about shooting my first wedding. She barely complained when I begged her to model for wacky photo ideas and on occasion has gotten me ranked quite highly on Flickr. Abby has been an amazing source of advice, ideas and confidence. She’s always been incredibly supportive and consistently inspires me to work harder. I’m very grateful that Abby has been and continues to be a part of my life. Shooting her senior portraits was a humbling experience. It’s great to have seen her grow to be who she is today as a senior in high school and I’m excited to see what God has in store for her future.

I’m so glad Annalisa asked me to shoot her senior photos! She’s crazy hilarious and hilariously crazy. She had a big idea to shoot photos on her roof and thanks to my secret love of roof, I said yes. The photos turned out awesome! Enjoy!

Katie // Pullman Senior Portrait Photographer

On August 23rd at 5:09 I was packing up all my gear, on my way out for Katie’s senior portraits at 5:30. My phone rings and I answer.

Hello?
Hey Branden. It’s Katie.
Hi Katie!
Ummmmmmmm… I just got in a car crash.

The first thing I asked her was if she was alright. She was totally fine. Before she could finish her next sentence I told her that we were absolutely going to reschedule her photos. She thanked me and we hung up.

Apparently, after she called the police to report the accident, she called me immediately. Before she had even called her parents. That’s devotion to your senior photos. And really silly. (If you ever get in an accident on the way to a photoshoot, call me last. I’ll understand!) Regardless, Katie earned 10 points for calling me, a gold star for giving me something fun to write about in this blog, and a thumbs up for looking great in our photos the next week.

Everyone (except for Katie’s car) was totally fine, and she didn’t even have any cuts or bruises when we ended up shooting her photos the next week. I’m glad to get to share these photos with you guys. They turned out excellent.
