Im very excited that this whole website/blog thing will be getting a much needed makeover. Its long overdue. My good friend John Pinkerton, who plays drums for David Walker, is designing this website for me. He's been great to work with so far and I'd highly recommend him.

This website will be super practical and easy to use and navigate. We'll have music, videos, chord charts, blogs...and all kinds of goodness.

Yesterday was incredible at Rivers Crossing as we kicked off our Bold Faith series. Getting people to ask the question based off of passages in the book of Acts, "God, what would you have me do?" We also announced the new space that Rivers Crossing will be pursuing and let me just tell ya, this city hasnt seen anything yet. God has his hand on Rivers Crossing. God has literally given us a dream location and we are incredibly thankful and cannot wait to see what is in store with our Bold Faith series.

What I've Been Up To & Album Update

Sorry I havent really blogged a lot. Although Im not sure anyone ever reads this anymore haha. Last week I got asked to lead worship at a beach camp for West Lonsdale Baptist out of Knoxville, TN in Panama City Beach. I used to play at these types of camps quite a bit, however, with the move to Ohio I shifted to really focusing on investing my time and energy into our local community and local body at Rivers Crossing. It was great to do a camp again and Lord willing I'll be able to do a good bit more of these types of things in the coming years while continuing to invest in my local church of course.

The camp itself was great and the Lord really stirred in the hearts of the students. Its always special to see students go for it in worship, as well as respond to the message. I really liked how this group brought their middle school, high school, and college students to this camp. It brought a really cool dynamic. I hope to see this group again in the near future.

Album Update:
I am excited to announce that on Sunday, Oct. 16 we will have a Night of Worship/CD Release Concert at Rivers Crossing Community Church. We will pack out the high school with everyone from our city we can bring.

Then it will be released on Itunes on Tuesday, Oct. 18

In the month of August we will be putting out a video talking about the album as well as giving you some sneak previews to the other songs on the album.

Begin spreading the word and marking your calendars, especially if you're in the Cincinnati area for Oct. 16th!!!!!

A few weeks ago I released the A Love Better Than Life EP. The Full Length album will be coming out this fall and Im very excited about it. If you havent had a chance to get the EP yet, you can get it on Itunes or Amazon. You can also get it here along with some t-shirts we've made.

The feedback from the EP has been really encouraging. It really reminds me of why we set out to record this album in the first place. I thought I'd share some of them here on the blog.

Im excited to announce that beginning tonight at Midnight, you can get your copy of the new EP - A Love Better Than Life. It was so tough deciding which 3 out of the 10 songs I wanted on the EP because honestly I love every song on the album and how they each turned out. The guys at Bright City Studios in Charlotte absolutely killed it. Seriously.

I’ve had a few questions about whether or not I recorded an EP or a full length album. I recorded a full length album and the full album will be released early fall. The EP is simply a taste of the full length album. The EP will be 3 songs. The cool thing about releasing the album this way is that its a great way to introduce new people to the music.

The EP will be available on my website exclusively...and I would love your help in getting the word out. I'll be posting links on my website and on facebook/twitter and I would love it if we could just create this huge wave of momentum for this project on all of our social media outlets, our places of work, our friends and family.

The message of the Gospel is all throughout these songs, and my hope is that these songs will penetrate the hearts of a ton of people and that Jesus would be honored through it all. I truly believe that if we all collectively join together in getting the word out that we could see these songs go to places we never thought possible.

The best is yet to come.

Im really excited to announce that you are able to pre-order the EP now! The EP will consist of 3 songs and will only be released digitally. You can get the EP and there is also a package deal with a T-Shirt and EP Download if you wish to go that route. You can pre-order all of that, and when the EP is available in the next week or so, you’ll be emailed a link immediately when it releases.

We did record a full length album, and it sounds incredible. The full-length album will be coming out early fall, so this EP is a little warm up for that. The EP is a great way to share this music with your friends and family.
