I like THE SATURDAYS. Haven’t really heard much of their music but I’ve seen some video blogs of theirs and I like their personality as well as their look. The first things that caught my attention about these beauties was their image. I was busy looking for music on the Internet and I ran across their album cover from their 2008 release. I was intrigued, but I didn’t listen to them at the time. They were just stored in my mind somewhere. Again I was looking for music today and realised that they’ve released a new album in 2010. I feel the same way about these ladies as I did the first time I came across Lady Gaga. With excited anticipation as to what’s next. The Saturdays have been around for 3 years, and 3 albums later I still haven’t heard much of a buzz about them. Let’s give them more exposure, please!!

I post things that interest me. I’m sorry. Those that know me very well, know that me and Puff (not Diddy… I know him as Puff) go way back. From the days of Total, Biggie and Craig Mack! Now his Bad Boy Family is completely different. As the cover suggests, all that is left is Cassie, Diddy – Dirty Money (With those 2 girls whose names I don’t quite remember), Red Cafe and Rick Ross…. Although Rick is not exactly a Bad Boy Artist. Given my immense interest in this negro’s movement, it goes without saying that when I saw this covere, I was like damn! What is this about now? So here it is. The latest VIBE Cover. I love freckles. I do. It’s one of those beautiful imperfections that I find to be so attractive on a woman. I might be insane but, toss me a woman with freckles and chances are I will fall in love with her. Always thought Lindsay Lohan was hot. I mean she’s not a typical model type. She’s a ginger for goodness sake. I guess I have a thing for hot ginger women.

The problem with being in a relationship is that your partner will always think (s)he can do better than you. In other words they can get someone that is hotter than you. That’s just how pride works. People always think they are better than they currently are. People think they can get a better job, they can have better friends, they can dress better, they can sing better and they can catch a better boy/girlfriend. If you don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, take a look at the relationship you have with your partner. Do you guys fight a lot? No? Then you’re one of the lucky few. You’re probably happily married or on the way there. But if you’re like the rest of us, you probably fight a lot. You probably fight a lot about the same thing. Not necessarily about the same situation, but probably about the same principle. One of you is probably right, but because the other is too proud to admit to their error, you’ll always fight about the same thing. I don’t know. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I’m generalising. Maybe I’m simplifying something that is a lot more complicated than I make it out to be. Maybe I don’t understand as much as I think I do. Right now, I’m too proud to admit it!

Those of you that have DSTV/TopTV may have seen this video on either MTV/BET already. I bought this album on the strength of this single and its inclusion of Young Money’s Tyga; whose Mixtape I downloaded just now. Just check out the video. It’s hot. Especially Tyga’s verse. It literally makes the entire song. BTW, you can also find Tyga featured on Chris Brown’s Mixtape which so far sounds a lot better than his album

Here’s the thing, right? Me and Fresh B have always been at loggerheads with regards to Erykah Badu. My stance has always been that a lot of my most visible artists have been made so because of their 1st (2) album(s). These artist remain visible because of these 1st works. They then disappoint me with their follow ups, leaving me hungry for their better works. Examples of these artists are Mary J. Blige and Erykah Badu. However, 2010 seems to be the year of the return to glory of these artists. It started with Mary’s latest, “Stronger with each tear”, and if Erykah Badu’s “Window Seat”, the video to which is excitingly provocative, is anything to go by, I am convinced that these artists have somehow found their Mojo one more again… but then again, maybe it’s just me. Check out this awesome video!
