Samsung has been playing around with the concept of a bendable phone for a while now, and rumors of prototypes have been flooding the Internet as well, but now Samsung has taken its first official step towards a bendable phone. Say hello to the Galaxy X.

Showed off by Samsung at the SID 2016 event in San Francisco, the Galaxy X is the flexible phone complete with a roll out LED display by the company. The Galaxy X can be rolled out, similar to an old fashioned scroll, but currently does not include a touch screen layer. The company has not confirmed if the phone will come with a touch layer later on, but it can be large hurdle to tackle.

However, the screen is of high quality and comes with a Full HD resolution on a display, and is approximately the same size as the Galaxy Note 5 at 5.7 inches, and is also really thin at 0.3mm. A lot of Samsung's flagship devices already support a curved edge on the screen, but the Galaxy X will be the first one with a fully bendable display.

Samsung is not the first one with the idea though, as LG is also working on a flexible phone similar to the earlier G Flex and G Flex 2. It might be a race to see who comes out with the phone first, but if rumors are to be believed, Samsung might release the Galaxy X next year.

Samsung Unveils 5.5-Inch 4K Smartphone Display Prototype for VR

Teasing the future, electronic giant Samsung has unveiled a smartphone display screen with 4K resolution. At San Francisco's Display Week conference, Samsung showed off a 5.5-inch 4K Amoled display for smartphones meant especially for virtual reality, or VR.

Virtual reality has really got a boost it needed after Google unleashed its Daydream project at I/O this year. In the meanwhile, more and more smartphone-based VR headsets are also hitting the market, where users can just slip their smartphones in and experience immersive viewing. However, virtual reality viewing is limited to the resolution that the smartphone provides. Most of the smartphones today have a full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, and some go so far as QHD (1440x2560 pixels) providing better experience in VR.

However, 4K (2160x3840 pixels) resolution display will elevate the viewing experience in virtual reality, and judging by Samsung's small display in San Francisco, 4K display on smartphones may soon become reality.

The company claims (via UploadVR) that the 4K UHD display at Display Week was just a prototype. It boasts of 806ppi pixel density, 97 percent colour gamut, and 350nit brightness. Samsung was rumoured to bring 4K display with the Galaxy Note 5, but that didn't happen, and the phablet adopted a QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display instead. Even the Note 6 has been tipped off to come with 4K display, however contradicting reports of a 2K QHD display have also surfaced. Needless to say, all rumours must be taken with a pinch of salt until the official release.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is expected to include a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 32GB storage for base model with storage expandability via microSD card, and 12-megapixel rear camera with a Dual Pixel setup.

Minecraft-style Dragon Quest Builders is coming to the West for PlayStation 4 and Vita

Sony announced today that Dragon Quest Builders is coming to North America this October for PlayStation 4 and Vita. The announcement comes as part of the series 30th anniversary today, celebrating the release of the original Dragon Quest for the Nintendo Entertainment System. A boxed copy will release for the PS4 game, but the Vita version will be digital only. Builders is a spin-off of the Japanese role-playing game series usually known for turn-based combat, but this title takes a lot of its inspiration from the mega-hit Minecraft. That’s one of the most popular games of all time, so it’s not a bad choice if you’re going to ape off something (Minecraft has sold over 70 million copies across all of its many platforms). Building things one block at a time? It certainly does look like Minecraft.

“Dragon Quest Builders is a sandbox action RPG where your imagination is the limit!” Sony noted on its blog. “Everything plays out in real-time and the world is made entirely of blocks (although it may not look that blocky), and you can use these blocks to build pretty much whatever you want.”

Dragon Quest Builders came out in Japan earlier this year. Sony noted that it’s trying to bring more games in the franchise to the west, which included Dragon Quest Heroes last year.

The final DLC expansion for The Witcher 3 has a whole new region to explore, a vineyard to manage, and a vampire to destroy…

No matter what else may change in the world of video games the one constant of the modern era has been the inessential-ness of almost all DLC. The fact that pre-ordering a season pass has become commonplace, before you have any idea of what it might include, must stand as one of the great triumphs of 21st century marketing. But occasionally there are exceptions. Sometimes developers do put in a real effort, and create something that is genuinely unmissable if you’re already a fan of the game. Blood And Wine is one of those exceptions.

The irony here is that The Witcher 3 is already so massive that it’s probably the last game in the world that actually needed any kind of expansion. But last year’s Hearts Of Stone was already very good, and this second and final expansion is equally impressive.

Surprisingly for an expansion, the first thing that strikes you about Blood And Wine is just how impossibly good the graphics are. The Witcher 3 always looked amazing, on both PC and consoles, but the art design and use of colour in Blood And Wine is exemplary. The entire adventure, in a new region called Toussaint, looks like some fantasy picture postcard come to life, with gorgeously detailed landscapes that mix the imagery of real world southern France with one part J.R.R. Tolkien and another part Lewis Carroll.

From an artistic standpoint, if not a technical one, Blood And Wine looks even better than the main game. But it’s also tonally distinct, with much more emphasis on humour – even as you deal with the main threat of a particularly unpleasant vampire.

As Geralt you get to oversee your own estate in the area, which you’re given quite a bit of control over – including overseeing your winery and drinking its contents. It’s implied that this is where Geralt will retire and end his days, the estate and the outcome of some of the other quests his reward for dealing with The Wild Hunt in the main game. It’s not unheard of for role-playing games to provide their own lengthy epilogue, but like most this can tend towards the self-indulgent.

A significant issue is the humour, which is often considerably less barbed or subtle than the main game. The camp, pseudo-chivalrous knights of Toussaint are a lot of fun but there’s also in-jokes aplenty about everything from DLC and CD Projekt themselves to Fawlty Towers. As you might imagine, that’s difficult to pull off in a fantasy setting and the hit rate is not particularly high. But there’s also the problem that by being set in a new region most of the characters are also new, and few of them are as interesting as those in the main game.

It’s telling that the best missions are the most serious ones, which are in turn closest in tone to the original. And that’s not something we’re comfortable in admitting, as we’re always urging DLC to try something new. Not all of the more whimsical missions are duds though, and there’s a particularly good one where you’re making more peaceful use of your tracking skills by helping a budding naturalist. Or another where you’re questing for a statue’s lost testicles.

Fable to be revived as a digital card game

A group of Lionhead developers is raising the Fable franchise from the ashes.

Having formed a new studio called Flaming Fowl in the wake of Lionhead's April closure, the team will be taking to Kickstarter to crowdfund a Fable-themed, free-to-play digital card game called Fable Fortune.

The game had previously been in development for 18 months before Lionhead closed down, the team revealed in an interview with IGN. To make the game now, they've licensed the IP from Microsoft, which now owns it. Fable Fortune will consist of some Hearthstone-style collectable card game gameplay, with both single-player and online multiplayer player-versus-player and co-op modes, drawing on the Fable universe and games.

It will also include some quest-like elements, such as playing specific cards or using mana, that will allow you to make "good" and "evil" Fable-style choices.

The Kickstarter will be seeking a minimum of £250,000 (around $367,000). If successful, the game is expected to release early 2017. The campaign will go live on Kickstarter on May 31.

It was all about family this week on Game of Thrones.
Sam (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) resurfaced to introduce us to the entire Tarly clan, Arya (Maisie Williams) had to make a difficult choice between her real family and her Faceless Men family, and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) did whatever he could to protect his kin from the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce).

It’s pretty clear that former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. is really serious in fighting UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

Mayweather, again, teased sports fans about an inter-disciplinary fight against McGregor, posting a photoshopped fight poster of him and the Irish star on Instagram with the words “Mayweather Conor Live on Pay-Per-View.”

Both cards use a version of the GP104 Pascal GPU, which is based on 16nm FinFET transistors that can stack vertically to allow more to be packed in a smaller space without requiring more power.

The differences include that the GTX 1070 implements fewer Graphics Processing Clusters (three versus four), Streaming Multiprocessors (15 versus 20), CUDA processing cores (1,920 versus 2,560), and Texture Units (120 versus 160); runs at a slower base clock speed (1,506MHz versus 1,607MHz); and, though it packs the same amount of memory (8GB), it uses slower GDDR5 rather than GDDR5X for a total memory bandwidth of 256GBps rather than 320GBps. There is also a difference in the Thermal Design Power (TDP) between the two cards: Whereas the GTX 1080 requires 180 watts of power, the GTX 1070 needs only 150 watts.

Nvidia claims the GTX 1070 runs faster than a Titan X, the top-end card of the GeForce 900 series that was released in March 2015, and is currently available for sale online for prices upward of $1,100.

Specific speeds and specs aside, the GTX 1070 includes all the same features of the GTX 1080, including the Ansel engine for taking improved in-game screenshots; Simultaneous Multi-Projection, for improved multimonitor and VR gaming; and Fast Sync, a new method of monitor syncing that lets the user reduce screen tearing even when on-screen animation is being displayed at extremely high frame rates. It also shares the earlier card's new limitations to Nvidia's Scalable Link Interface (SLI) system, which emphasizes use of only two- rather than three- or four-card configurations. And like the GTX 1080, the GTX 1070 is a full-length (10.5-inch) video card requiring two expansion slots.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 cards will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 10. Two versions of the card will be available: the $449 Founders' Edition, essentially the Nvidia "reference" design that will be available first, and other versions with custom card and cooler designs from third-party manufacturers that will retail at $379.

Asus at its Zenvolution event on Monday at the Humble House Taipei, unveiled the new ZenFone 3 series. The new series has been launched with three models - ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra - varying in different sizes and specifications.

The ZenFone 3 variants don a full metal design makeover, and fingerprint support embedded on the back of the phones. All the models sport an 8-megapixel selfie camera (85-degree wide-angle lens), and support hybrid dual-SIM slots. The rear cameras feature optical image stabilisation, and electronic image stabilisation for better handheld photography.

Starting with the base model, the Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) is priced at $249, and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super IPS LCD display. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and back. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of inbuilt storage. On the camera front, there is a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor. It packs a 3000mAh battery, and offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Cat 6 LTE, and USB 2.0 Type-C connector. The ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) will be available in Gold, Blue, Black, and White colour options.

The second variant is called the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL). It is priced at $499, and comes with a "full metal body with an invisible antenna design", which Asus claims is the world's first. It features a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080 x1920 pixels) Super Amoled display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone stores 64GB of inbuilt storage, with expansion via microSD card (up to 256GB).

The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) sports a 23-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX318 sensor with 4K video support. It packs a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0) It supports connectivity options like WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Cat 6 LTE, and USB 3.0 Type-C connector. The Deluxe (ZS570KL) will be available in Gold, Silver, and Grey colour options. It is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of this year.

Lastly, the company also announced the large Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) that comes with a 6.8-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS LCD display. It is priced at $479, and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage is 64GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The smartphone houses a 23-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX318 sensor. The ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) packs a nice 4600mAh battery with Quick Charge technology. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Cat 6 LTE, and USB 3.0 Type-C connector. The smartphone will be available in Grey, Silver, and Pink colour options.

Computex 2016: Devices We Can Expect to Launch at the Show

The Computex 2016 show is just around the corner, and here is a slew of products that we expect to witness at the exhibition. Take a look at the probable announcements.

Asus Zenvolution
Asus has already sent out invites for the Zenvolution event to be held on May 30, 2016. At this event, Asus might launch a broad range of devices including smartphones, tablets, PCs, etc. One of the highly anticipated smartphone launches is that of the Zenfone 3. Asus is speculated to unveil a trio of smartphones under the Zenfone 3 series. As per the ongoing rumors and speculations, Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and Zenfone Max will be going official at the May 30 event.

AMD GPUs
NVIDIA lately took the spotlight in the graphics segment, but AMD is all geared up tp launch new Polaris GPU architecture. The AMD event is slated to happen on June 1 and there is a possibility that it will be launched ahead of Computex.

The leaks show that AMD will have three GPUs of which VEGA 10 will be an enormous one that might make its way into the market in 2017. The Polaris 10 could be launched next month and the Polaris 11 could be a low-cost version of the Polaris 10. On the whole, it is believed that AMD is all set to surpass NVIDIA at the performance per watt and per dollar contests. However, it all depends on the independent benchmarks that will be out later.

NVIDIA Pascal Architecture based Products
NVIDIA's Pascal architecture might be designed with low-power in mind, but it is likely that NVIDIA will come up with high-end and powerful gaming laptops made by major OEM partners. As gaming laptops are one of the high-margin products and there is a surge in the popularity of the same lately, it would be a priority for NVIDIA as well as the PC makers. NVIDIA recently launched GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 chipsets. Within some time, the manufacturers will start launching products with these GPUs. The Computex 2016 will be a great platform for NVIDIA to get the traction for these new offerings that can render amazing performance.

Kaby Lake CPUs from Intel
The Kaby Lake CPU from Intel are expected to be launched in Q3 this year. The new processor with this codename is the sequel to the Skylake architecture. It will be designed using the 14 nm semiconductor process. The new CPU will include enhancements such as better 3D graphics and improved 4K video playback. It will support USB 3.1 and HDCP 2.2 for digital rights. There are leaks that Intel will announce a deca-core chip that is based on Broadwell architecture. It is claimed to render high performance for highly parallel purposes. Intel might also release three more processors having 6 and 8 cores.

Lenovo/Motorola
Lenovo/Motorola devices are speculated to be launched at the Computex 2016 tech show. It is possible that the company might have a slew of products to be launched at the show including the gossiped 18.5-inch tablet. But, we cannot expect much from Lenovo at the Computex 2016. Anyways, we need to wait and see what the company has got in store.

Monster Hunter Stories Releasing in October, Cute amiibos Confirmed

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Stories will be releasing in Japan on October 8. The game will be priced at 5,800yen at retail and 5,546yen if you get it digitally. Not only that, Capcom also announced that they have a collaboration with musician DAIGO and Pompompourin for in-game weapons and equipment.

For you amiibo addicts out there, yes, there will be amiibos available for Monster Hunter Stories on day one. There will be three amiibos available, and they are: One-Eyed Rathalos and Rider (Female), One-Eyed Rathalos and Rider (Male), and Nabiru. Capcom also mentioned that a second set of amiibos are planned for release in winter this year. You can check out in-game screenshots and a quick look at the amiibos in the gallery below.

Monster Hunter Stories is an RPG that follows the story of a young rider who leaves his village to explore the world. He eventually gets caught up in the investigation of an ancient legend. The game looks to be quite the departure from the typical Monster Hunter game you’d expect, and it certainly seems like this entry will be a lot more story-focused.

The Last Guardian still releasing this year, new gameplay details revealed

It has been confirmed by Edge magazine that Fumito Ueda’s The Last Guardian will still be released this year following speculation that it had been delayed it again.

In the latest issue, Edge reconfirmed that the long-awaited follow-up to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will be released in 2016, with game director Fumito Ueda saying: “Since this is the year we will see the game’s release, I do have some worries, but I’m also very excited.”

The magazine also managed to go hands-on with a demo of the game, with their resulting preview revealing numerous new gameplay details. Edge reports that one of the main mechanics is that the human boy wields a mirror shield that has various uses, writing: “Holding circle ‘illuminates’ the device, shining what is ostensibly an ornate crosshair onto any surface it’s aimed at… [Trico] can fire a devastating beam of red lightning from its tail, and will direct this power wherever we point the mirrored shield.”

In the demo, this mechanic was used to solve environmental puzzles, with “one involving the destruction of a rock face, the other the disintegration of a wooden wall.”

The magazine also expanded on the character of Trico, the enormous griffin-like creature that acts as a companion to the human boy. Edge described Trico as “free-spirited creature that flagrantly disregards your attempts to tame it,” with Ueda adding his worry that perhaps players may find working with the creature frustrating. ”It would be a lie to stay that I have no worries,” he told the magazine. “But another game where you can completely control a creature wouldn’t be enjoyable for me because there are a lot out there where you can do that. I think I’ve had enough of them.”

As the game progresses and the duo overcome more obstacles, the relationship between the human boy and Trico will strengthen — making the creature more responsive to requests.

In a later part of the article, Trico’s nature is fully illustrated: “One area a little later in the demo sees us emerge high up from the wall of a huge cave that holds an underground lake. We immediately take the opportunity to leap into the clear water below, diving underneath the surface and exploring the muffled underwater world for a time. On resurfacing, we find Trico timidly pawing at the edge of the drop, refusing to jump. It is, after all, part cat.”

Ueda discusses Trico too, touching upon his purpose within the game: “This creature isn’t like the cute pets that exist in other games, or an ally that’s really useful. The role of the creature is ambiguous; that’s something we wanted to express in the game, and it doesn’t always do what you ask it to do. That’s one of the themes of The Last Guardian. It’s something that’s difficult, and completely different. I want to create the next thing – an experience that people have never had before.”

The magazine expanded on the concept of Trico being a fully independent character, with Ueda saying: “The amount of code is very large compared to AI in conventional games. We’ve given this creature its own desires, so depending on what action it wants to take, that affects everything, including its animation. It’s not like a normal humanoid character.”

The Last Guardian will be released sometime this year on PS4, with a release date hopefully being announced during Sony’s press conference at E3. The game has been in development for over 8 years, initially being announced for PlayStation 2.

“It was quite difficult for me to keep my motivation up,” said Ueda when asked about the length of development. “But my other game shave also had long development periods, so in that sense, I think I’ve been able to keep my motivation quite high.”

A month ago, Nintendo released two amiibo diorama kits in Japan for Super Smash Bros. and Kirby. Now they have revealed two more dioramas based on Splatoon. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything.]

One of the dioramas features a concert stage for the Squid Sisters and the other is the Kelp Dome. The Squid Sister stage one also includes a place for your 3DS or a smartphone to help add to the concert theme. Both Splatoon amiibo dioramas will be available in Japan on July 7th and will cost 1,080 yen each.

Which, if you've followed the release of this new Mega Man inspired game, should have been a number of times. With a firm release date of June 21, this trailer probably won't get you excited to check it out. Who knows, maybe you dig one liners that capture the zeitgeist of late '90s corporate marketing aimed at no-good teens.

Okay, so that was pretty bad. But as Mighty No. 9 comes from the creator of Mega Man and all around nice guy Keiji Inafune, we're hoping that the end result is a fun and action-packed game that lives up to the classic Mega Man games of yore. Like, totally awesome stuff that will make your pants go all funny. With rad moves and dope abilities.

Several fans are now excited for the release of the upcoming "GTA 6" game. Now, recent reports claim that the upcoming "GTA 6" game will be arriving in 2018 despite the fact that no official release date has been announced as of yet.
'GTA 6' will possibly be released in year 2018

Porsche 911 Carrera S Sports coupe review

After more than a half-century, Porsche’s 911 Carrera remains one of the brightest lights in the automotive sky around which other sports cars must navigate. It has more rivals than ever, but in this market outshines the closest almost three to one.

Compared with the 1960s original, today’s 911 retains a “flat” six-cylinder engine, its eccentric position behind the rear axle, and strong visual links. In engineering terms, though, its trajectory has moved closer to the mainstream. Two of the decisive moments are still lamented by many 911 lovers: the move to water-cooled engines in 1998 and the adoption of electrically assisted steering in 2012.

That 2012 model, with the confusing series number 991, positioned Porsche’s core product for further changes later. So it proves, with the Series II upgrade another landmark: the wholesale introduction of turbocharging.

Design. Few enduring nameplates can claim such a strong link to the original shape as the 911. When Porsche has tried to move away from the recipe — it briefly flirted with a different headlight shape a few models ago — it has been dragged back by popular demand.

So the 991 Series II gently massages the formula again. It sharpens the nose and widens the front spoiler. Detail changes include a cluster of four LEDs in the headlights, “three-dimensional” tail-lights, and reshaped door handles. If you like the 911 look, there’s plenty to enjoy.

Cabin. The cabin structure changes little from its predecessor and that’s mainly a good thing, with the seats, wheel, and instruments among the best around. The vestigial rear seats still have drop-down backs and provide some luggage space in addition to the (slightly larger) cargo well under the bonnet, which fits more than you expect.

Centrepiece of the upgrade is a new infotainment system with touchscreen that responds to smartphone-style finger gestures and taps.

There’s an app to integrate phone information with the system and allow some remote functions, such as door locking. Those with an iPhone can use Apple Car Play. The sat-nav has been upgraded and includes real-time traffic information. The touchscreen responds quickly to inputs but reaching out to stab at a screen is inherently more difficult on the move than using the rotary knob systems adopted by other German brands. I got defeated by the menu logic more than once, and frustrated by the Bluetooth connection. It’s possible that familiarity would solve these issues, but other systems are easier straight out of the box.

Driveline. Unquestionably the biggest difference with Series II involves the downsized engines — both Carrera and Carrera S, driven here, use 3.0-litre units (instead of 3.4 and 3.8) — and the adoption of turbocharging. Both engines get 15kW more power and 60Nm more torque and claim 12 per cent improved efficiency — the reason for adopting turbocharging in the first place.

Turbocharged engines tend not to rev as high, so peak power arrives 900rpm lower and maximum engine speed is 400rpm lower. Torque peaks at just 1700rpm, against 5600rpm before. All that makes the car drivable from the get-go, with lots of acceleration to hand. Sprint times to 100km/h drop by 0.2 seconds and there’s plenty of strong, linear acceleration well beyond that.

There’s less evidence of delayed throttle response, a bane of turbo engines, than most makers achieve. The automatic double-clutch gearbox fitted to the test car delivers quick and timely shifts, as before, and has a Sports Response Switch that presets the engine and transmission for maximum attack for up to 20 seconds.

This is a smooth and powerful application of turbo technology. The engine is also much quieter than the previous unit, with a more refined note and less of a raw edge. It has lost a bit of mongrel.

For many buyers that will be a plus. But low-speed tractability was never an issue with these cars, and if you’re the sort of driver who likes to rev around the dial to extract performance, there’s less to do. And less drama, too.

Dynamics. The Series II has been lowered 1cm thanks to the adoption, as standard, of Porsche’s excellent adaptive suspension system. This delivers a tolerably comfortable ride towards the top end of sports car standards on the softest setting but firms up the suspension for better body control on a twisty road with a Sport mode.

There are new wheels with wider rubber, while rear-axle steering — which improves stability at high speed and makes parking manoeuvres easier at low speeds — is an option.

A new active rear spoiler deploys automatically and adjusts its angle to balance front and rear lift.

Although this 911 puts on a little weight (about 45kg), it’s hard to pick from behind the wheel. The signature 911 handling traits have survived the switch to turbocharging, which is hardly surprising given Porsche’s long experience at the cutting edge of the technology.

Safety and equipment. The main inclusions to standard equipment — a new infotainment system and adaptive suspension — add significant value and that’s just as well because 911 price-of-entry rises by $9600 for the Carrera manual. The test Carrera S with automatic transmission is $8000 more than before.

An addition to the safety kit is a post-collision braking system, designed to prevent secondary impacts after a crash.

Conclusion. Like other makers, Porsche has been forced to adopt turbocharging to hit efficiency targets in Europe and elsewhere; what was once a signature of the most powerful 911 flagship model is now ubiquitous across the range. Or soon will be.

The result is a quieter, more refined car that’s easier to live with day-to-day and over the longer haul. Purists, as with previous advances, will lament the loss of some raw sports car appeal and its accompanying sound. Again, with justification.

And as before, that will make the previous car more collectable — and valuable — over time. So if you have a 991 Series I, there are both advantages and disadvantages to making the switch.

LG has already launched two G flex smartphones, LG G Flex and G Flex 2. Now rumors suggest a new LG G Flex successor, dubbed G Flex 3, is on its way. The smartphones is anticipated to be announced at the IFA 2016 to be held in September in Berlin. While there is no official confirmation on the same, new rumors reveal some of the key specifications of the G Flex 3.
LG G Flex 3 specifications and features: The smartphone is said to feature a 5.5-inch (1440 x 2560) QHD display resolution. The device is said to be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. LG G Flex 3 will come with a 32GB internal storage which can be further expandable to 64GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. No other specifications have been revealed so far.

However, according to new information from a OnePlus live chat agent revealed that the new smartphone will be launched on June 14, using the Loop VR. As per the company, the event will be 'beamed from the future', with the OnePlus offices relocated to an orbital space station.

Based on leaks, the OnePlus 3 will have a new design, something different from standard current-generation flagship smartphones. It will offer a slim design with metal frames around the side. Reports claim that OnePlus 3 may ditch the fingerprint scanner in favour of an iris scanner, while another leak suggests that the device might include a physical home button which could double up as a fingerprint reader too. You can surely expect a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
Similar to the OnePlus 2, the new flagship killer will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is rumored that the company could unveil a 5-inch variant too. Previous benchmark listings have hinted at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. The device will most likely pack in Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone will be available in either 32GB or 64GB storage variants. The company could surprise us by introducing a 128GB storage variant too.

The OnePlus 2 was shipped with Android Lollipop with the company’s OxygenOS on top. For the new OnePlus 3, the company will most likely offer a new Android Marshmallow version based on the company UI. Basically, the smartphone will run Android 6.0.1-based OxygenOS 3.0. The device is also said to sport a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera. We can expect OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and 4K video recording as well.
