To my wonderful readers: I am so sorry for my delay in posts. Check soon!

’d like to spend some time talking about the danger of mixing our mouth with our emotions. Just about anyone can bluntly saying exactly what they feel. But it takes maturity to use the art of discression. I feel being blunt is self focused, we say what comes to mind without regard for the other party. Typically, this is done with a negative approach. While using discretion we are still direct with our feeling but it’s first filtered through Jesus' love, therefore our concern comes across with the other person in mind. When we use discretion we can send out little spiritual hugs to those who have hurt us and pray for our enemies. It is never a ‘joke’ to spew hate on others or to demean a person to be funny.

We can still get our point across while using discretion. But we need to be willing to set our emotions aside and think of others first. We also need to realize not everything needs to be said. In the moments when our mouth is fueled with doubt and anger, need to step into faith by prayer. These are the moments of weakness that God’s power can be made strong (2 Cor 12:9). It is better for us to let out our true feelings to God first (some would refer to leaving it at the feet of God or in His hands), which is what the word tells us to do. Make your requests known to God though prayer and petition (Phil 4:6). When we step back and really pray first the holy sprit will save us from embarrassing ourselves from the out of control emotions that show our immaturity. Instead what we end up saying will be in love rather than emotion.

We can overcome our emotions and make them submit to the word of God, it’s not having emotions that are bad. We have the choice to use them with a positive or negative demeanor. For example, when we think a friend is upset with us. Our flesh/emotions wants us to hammer our friend with, “Why are you upset with me?” This approach is self focused, because we are not thinking of how we are overwhelming our friend who in reality is not upset with us. But because of our behavior they are now questioning themselves. Often times God puts people on our heart for us to pray for. But when we don’t recognize praying for them is the reason they are on our heart, we have to justify our thoughts. Our human thinking (our flesh) is typically negative. This justification leaves opportunity for the enemy, to steal kill and destroy. When we succumb to this temptation the focus is put on ourselves. Instead, when someone is on our heart, fight the temptation of negative thoughts and start praying for them, and call them to ask how they are doing.

There are times we will have a confrontation. The world tells us to deal with confrontation with anger and hurtful word in order to ‘win’ the argument. But the Word tells us, Do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, Romans 12:2. We have the choice to slam someone with selfish words or to choose discretion with our words while still getting the same point across but in a loving manner. Sometimes being kind to our enemy (which is can be our spouse) is like pouring hot coals on their head VERSE.

This principle can also be applied when we feel offended. Instead of becoming offended we can use it as an opportunity to allow Jesus to breathe hope into the situation, if we are willing to be slow to anger (James 1:19). We can be in prayer for the person as we feel the emotion arise. Most people do not mean to hurt us, they do so unknowingly. Usually the offence is not the other person but our perception of what they said based on our past experiences. In this case using discretion can really save us from embarrassment of showing our selfishness. Those that do hurt us on purpose are probably hurting themselves, which just the thought is sobering and should make us tender for them.

The simplest way to overcome being offended or hurt by others is to simply forgive. FORGIVE ~ EVEN WHEN WE HAVE EVERY REASON TO BE MAD. Forgiveness is not always about us and our offender. Forgiveness keeps our hearts soft for God and allows us to have mercy for others (as Jesus did for us). Resentment and bitterness rots our bones and builds walls up between us and God and also those around us. Resentment and bitterness clouds our judgment, meaning instead of responding with love we respond with hurt. If you must take the matter to the offender, the forgiveness in your heart will soften your words.

When we see someone’s shortcomings it's easy to make a rash judgment about their life or choices. It may feel good at the moment to put them down, but it’s us who has the problem. What's in our heart comes out of our mouth...don’t take the speck out of our neighbor eye...when the in a plank in ours. When we spew hate out of our mouths toward others we are showing the lack of fruit in our life. The same is true when we cover our hate as a joke or justify it as knowledge. Only God knows the true heart of a person. When we judge someone, we are forgetting to look past the behavior to see the hurt. (Yes ladies even our husbands can have recent and past hurts, although, they deal with them very differently than we do.) When we can see someone’s hurt we have compassion for them instead of judgment. We do not want to make things worse with a harsh tongue but rather use digression…or at lest we should

Power of life or death is in the tongue. It's those little words that can build up or tear down our loved ones. A simple thank you to a spouse let them know you don't thank them for granted. I love you’d and I miss you's tells others we care.
Words of encouragement for our spouse and loved one can bring healing to a broken relationship. But negative words can tear apart, even if it's meant as a joke.
The word is full of encouragement...but it's the hardest thing for us to give out to each other. But that way of thinking is what tears the body of Christ. We need to be speaking life and love over each other all the time. We need to build one another up. This is especially important for those in leadership. Find a verse that fits the good their doing and tell them what they did to become more like Jesus. Leader is not only those in the church and workplace with titles...parents and role model too.

Instead of taking offense to the way we are treating, use it as an opportunity to pray. Instead of feeling hurt and helpless when someone fails our expectations. Use it as an opportunity to stand in the gap for them in prayers. We all fall short of the glory of god, we are all human. But the power of Jesus Christ transforms situations that see hopeless. What if instead of look at the world, we see the world through a kingdom perspective, turn the other cheek in prayer? When our heart is burdened by the wrong others have caused us...pray the word of God.

www.BreakTheMoldMinistry.com Michelle Pohl

Today is a day, I’d like to vent…but instead I’m going to redirect my focus and acknowledge there are times we must Walk by Faith not by Sight. Why vent? Well let’s see mischievous/curious children, bills, manipulative people, and plain hateful people. It’s so easy to be distracted by these types of things and so many more. But the bottom line is - we are responsible for our actions, not the actions of others. All these things are moments we can make choices - we can choose to activate our faith or choose to act out of our feelings/emotions.

It’s in our selfish nature to want act out of our emotions. When someone treats us wrong we are quick to defend ourselves, quick to become angry. He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is quick-tempered exalts folly Proverbs 14:29. The Holy Spirit will warn us prior to our reaction, He tries to save us from embarrassing ourselves, or at least that’s the case for me. Maybe you’re one of those that can appear pulled together at any moment of the day; I want to encourage you to do a heart check. Are you masking your feelings or are you giving your reaction over to God? Dealing with our emotions is an area in our life we can overcome! However there are so many layers…we will have to continue moving forward.

My desire is for my emotions to submit to the Word of God. I mean think about it what if instead of reacting to a situation, we activated God’s word that is inside of us. Greater is HE that is in me than He that is in the world, 1John 4:4! What I mean by Walking by Faith not by Sight, is when things look bad, when we are getting the run around, when we have all the symptoms for a terrible day are showing its ugly head…have FAITH to see past the moment. Believe that God’s word is true and allow it to transform your mind, when the word transforms your mind…it changes your reaction (see Romans 12:2). Instead of doing something that exalts our feelings, we can use it as a moment to do Good and Exalt the Name of Jesus.

Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Galatians 6:1

God is soo good! I woke with such joy in my heart! He is the King of Kings and the Great I Am! My pastor used the above verse last night during his sermon…I was so inspired by it.

At Six Flags yesterday I was looking at the Pandemonium, aka Tony Hawk, rollercoaster. From the line it looked like a piece of cake, it was low to the ground, single cart. I mean really how bad could it be? Boy was I WRONG, within 6 seconds…I was confessing how much I hated this ride and that I was DONE with rollercoaster’s!

Our trials in life are often referred to as rollercoaster’s of life. Like the verse above, when I am riding my rollercoaster I want to be treated with gentleness. But, how often do we look at someone else’s ride and say, piece of cake, that’s all you’re worried about? We wanna give them a quick fix to their problems and all they are looking for is someone to listen to them. I’m totally guilty of doing that! Are you? This verse warns us against it…we will be tempted if we are not gentle towards others in their time of need. I thank God He has not given up on me and we can seek forgiveness when we blow it!

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ Galatians 6:2

The law of Christ is to LOVE others the way Christ Loves us! Love is an unselfish act of kindness, which is what Jesus did for us on the cross.

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing he deceives himself. Each on should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each on should carry his own load. Galatians 6:3-5

Ummm OUCH! Its sooo easy when we are helping others to think we have arrived at some ultra spiritual place. It’s so important to remain humble and loving, lest we will fall and embarrass ourselves! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt! This verse says we each have a load to carry. We have a desire to do it all. We even have good intentions with doing so. However, we have to remember, it’s not what we do for God that matters, but what we allow Him to do through us! So the glory goes to Him! Everything we should do for others should be for HIM! HE IS SOOO GOOD!

Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. Do not be deceived God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature from that nature will reap destruction the one who sows to please the Spirit from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Galatians 6:6-8

Obedience. Obedience is what God asks of us, to do his will. But it’s hard when what He is asking is not seen or noticeable.

One time God told me to gather a group of women to anonymously bless one particular lady we all knew. This person didn’t care much for me. We each left her anonymous gifts to bless her. She defiantly noticed these gifts were out of the ordinary. But to this day she never knew I was behind it. I didn’t do it so she would like me. I did it out of obedience to God. I don’t know exactly how He used that in her life. But I have peace in my heart and still do not regret it. We sow what we reap. What if instead of blessing this person, I would have gossiped about this person? We sow what we reap! –God sees ALL things and knows the nature of our heart!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up! Galatians 6:9

There are so many bad things that happen around us. As believers we want for others to find the Freedom that is in Jesus Christ. We do good and we are not noticed, we do good and it’s forgotten, we do good and we are not appreciated. So we grow weary. But Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:29-30 come to be all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will fine rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden in light! We have to focus of what God is telling us to do and do just that…often times God tells us to pray for someone who is struggling, but we wanna do more than that! So we jump in and give them advice. We wanna save someone and Gods telling us to just be a friend. We take on more than our load. We become weary. Another reason we become weary is we get so caught up in doing for God…we forget spend time with Him in the Word! If you are reading this and you feel weary reach out to God right now in prayer, spend sometime worshiping and seeking forgiveness and your heart will grow stronger.

Love ya’ll

Xoxo

P.S. If you live in Missouri come hang out with me at church! The pastor and his wife lead by example by loving on others and helping them walk the straight and narrow path. Sundays mornings 8:30 OR 10:30am. Wednesdays evenings at 7pm.

Unworthy. I have been profusely apologizing to God in my prayers. I can put my finger on why I feel so unworthy, I just do. I don’t feel worthless, I feel unworthy. Worthless is when you lack value and worth. Unworthy is being unable to measure up. I have felt, since age 15-16, I was called to ministry. I now have opportunity. However, I see my flaws – my pride, attitude, and at times a temper.

I know I have grown as a person. I know I have been used by God. I am not saying I feel held back. I just feel like He is sooo Holy, so Pure, and Perfect. Who am I? Who am I to try to lead others to Jesus, when I lack diligence to stay on track at times. I have no training or education to speak of... But who am I to say, no God I can not do your will because I lack good things? He is Good and He is EVERYTHING I need. I feel like I’m being prepared for something and I being challenged in humility, character, and attitude, and I know mine will never measure up to the Holy God I deeply desire to serve.

I know now more than ever how important it is to be in the word. I need Gods wisdom. I need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I don’t want my flesh to get in the way of the plan set before me.

Isaiah 6 has brought peace to my heart…(keep reading and I’ll explain how)

Isaiah 6

Isaiah’s Commission

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:

 “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”

4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

9 He said, “Go and tell this people:

 “‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’
<SUP>10</SUP> Make the heart of this people calloused;
 make their ears dull
 and close their eyes.[a]
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
 hear with their ears,
 understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

11 Then I said, “For how long, Lord?”

 And he answered:

 “Until the cities lie ruined
 and without inhabitant,
until the houses are left deserted
and the fields ruined and ravaged,
12 until the LORD has sent everyone far away
and the land is utterly forsaken.
13 And though a tenth remains in the land,
it will again be laid waste.
But as the terebinth and oak
leave stumps when they are cut down,
so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.”

God is so Holy, the angels have to cover their eyes and feet in His presence. He is so good, so powerful so full of greatness, we will not even begin to understand until we are in Heaven. (v1-3)
Regardless of how ‘good’ of a Christian we are, we will never measure up, we NEED the forgiveness of Jesus, we need the wisdom of Gods word, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We have to be diligent to these things otherwise pride comes in and our flesh takes control of our future and distorts our vision. (v5-8)
God never tells us to stay, only to GO…GO and tell my people, GO and make disciples…GO do my will! When we ‘GO’ we must stay attentive to God’s Will and pray against distractions and temptations, we must persevere with humility and good character. Because we are promised, in Romans 5:3-5 if we rejoice in our sufferings, we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope! (v9-10)
How long? Our life time, this is why we need other believers to encourage us in times of weakness. (v11-13) Which is where I am now, I have always begged God to send a mentor in my life, but that prayer has never been answered. I believe it is because I would look to that person instead of seeking Jesus. My heart has been conflicted the past few days, with feelings of unworthiness. But the Word of God brings peace and I have found peace in ISAIAH 6! – I hope you do as well xoxo

God I pray you cleanse my heart, so my heart and charater is more like you so I may do your will, all for your Glory! In Jesus name - Amen.
I would challenge us all to a time of worship so our focus is on the HOLY ONE, here are the songs that have been on my heart.

www.BreakTheMoldMinistry.com Michelle Pohl

God is so good, His mercy endures forever! I will not be moved, I will not be shaken…that is until my insecurities start to seep in! Ahhh! Secure people see insecure people as weak. But the truth is either way, secure or insecure, the focus in on our self. Not on God. If we are secure, we are self reliant and do not need Jesus to save us. If we are insecure, we are focused on our shortcomings instead of allowing Jesus to forgive us which is the very reason He died on the cross. Both security and insecurity show room for growth in our spiritual walk with Jesus.

Open your bibles and read 1 Samuel 9 (YOU CAN DO IT!

In short, Saul was a fine man…handsome, a manly man, his family was wealthy – all the silver lining for Self Security. Yet inside Saul was empty, we see in verse 21 his insecurity comes out, all though He had so much he still felt lowly, because he was Self Focused. When we are self focused we crumble easily we are up, then down. I know this is one of my personal struggles.

In this passage we see that Saul was led (unmistakably by God) to His future of being King. But because of his inner turmoil he had trouble receiving the opportunity. If you follow Saul story though his life, you will find although he made great accomplishments – it was his insecurities that made him fall.

As a secure person we focus on our self and try to overcome our weaknesses. As an insecure person we focus on our shortcomings, instead of allowing God to work through our weakness.

Read 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Corinthians%2012:1-10&version=NIV

There is nothing to be gained from self boasting, nothing (v 1). When we are tormented from the grief of our misgivings it’s an opportunity to start praising God. Praising God means to be focused Him. When we are focused on Him we are not dwelling on mistakes or are we accomplishments. We are focus on JESUS - He is mighty to save us His Love endures forever. When we keep our focus on Him our foundation is stable and will not crumble at every turn.

In theory this principle sounds simple but it is but putting your faith to action means making changes to your thought process. This is a foundational principle as we grow we will need to revisit this and allow our hearts to be refined so we become more of the likeness of Christ, that’s what it means to be a Christian. There is so much more to add but at this moment I am pressed for time.

Lord, I ask that you speak to each of our heart and show us how to be focused on you in the good and bad moments of our day, so we can die to our flesh – so you may take up more residence in our hearts. Help us to take moments though out our day to reflect on you. You are the Great I AM, our Redeemer, and our Salvation.

-Amen

BOTTOM LINE: Our identity is not in the great things we do. Our identity is not in our failures. OUR IDENITY IS IN JESUS AND WHAT WE ALLOW HIM TO DO THOUGH US!

Its soo easy for things to shift our focus away from the Truth that is found in the Word of God. Foreclosure, death, cancer…are just a few of those distractions. His word says God is so big He holds the hold the oceans of the world in the palm of His hands! But, in Luke 12:7, God cares so much that He knows the hairs on our head! He is bigger than our problems, He is bigger than our heartaches, He is bigger than our failures…yet He loves us so much He wants to be our Comforter, our Redeemer, and our Savior.

If you’re struggling with hopelessness…take a time out. Go to God with prayer and thanksgiving seeking forgiveness. He promises peace…peace that passes all understanding. That peace brings joy, not happiness, but joy…and the Joy of the Lord is our Strength.

Grab onto a verse that speaks into your situation. Say it to yourself ever time that fear rises. John 1:1 tells us, the Word was God and the Word was with God…everytime we speak the Truth over or difficulty it’s the same as speaking Jesus into us and He brings Hope

Hope in Jesus can change our perspective; Taking us from being in the middle of the biggest crisis our life. Putting us in the Middle of the Biggest Testimony God has ever done in your life! ~ At this moment I have nothing but sheer faith this is true!

I’ve been challenged lately, so I wanted to pass it along to you. If I’ve gotta learn I’m taking you along! I have been in situations lately where it’s not my place to say, what’s truly on my mind. Have you ever been there? It’s like a test of submission for leadership. In these situations I may be right, I really feel I am…but I have felt the Lord saying, shhh not now. I feel my flesh and spirit fighting, I tremble inside trying to hold back. But I leave with a feeling of peace.

We are not the savior, Jesus is! We don’t have to fix every situation that arises in front of us. Sometimes, the best way to Love someone is to listen. I know there are times to challenge and encourage others, but there are also times when we just need to lock our lips and turn off the spout. It’s hard!

I’ve had a situation recently that I KNOW I am right. I spoke my peace, now its time to let it rest in the hands of God. I have struggled to stay out of the situation…that I was brought into. I have the resources to manipulate the situation, but I asked myself, “What kind of character does that show?” Also, how I choose to treat this person, despite their decision, shows my character as well. Although they asked my advice, it is not my place to exhaust myself trying to make things ‘right’.

If we feel exhausted in dealing with a circumstance, then we have not truly given things over to God. He says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

When we wash our hands of a situation (I have had to scrub my hands of this) it takes the focus off us and ‘our plans’ and sheds light on Jesus and His Plans - as much as we think we are right, His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways, Isaiah 55:8. We can not always see what God is doing behind the scenes or how He will turn something around, regardless of how clear things appear to us.

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Peace comes with obedience. God’s plans are not full of strife. We find rest when we allow Him to lead, instead of us “trying to help”(with good intentions of course).

My challenge for you is, How can you honor God with your Lips? Can you hold back and allow the emotions to settle before you speak? Can you dissolve strife for the sake of the Kingdom? He promise’s Peace if we do!

Lonely –

The tomb was empty. As she entered the hollow grave, her body began to shake, and fear pulsed through veins. Stricken with despair her voice echoed, “JESUS WHERE ARE YOU?!” Doubt grieved her aching heart. He eyes swelled with tears. Heart was pounding inside her chest. She came to find Him but He was not there…

Open your bibles to Luke 24:1-12

Do you know that feeling of desperation? Overwhelmed by life? Trying to find Jesus, your prayers do not seem to be working? Maybe you do know Jesus but feel so alone, you’re trying to reach out to Him and in your desperation you scream, FATHER WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?! Yet you hear nothing. So you begin to Doubt, is He real? Should I believe His word, the Bible? Am I really saved? Why will Jesus not rescue me from the awful situation?

Well I have GOOD NEWS, He is not there because He is a Living God. He is going ahead and making a way for you. We just need a little faith. Faith to not give up in that time of doubt but to stand firm, IN THE WORD OF GOD!

I want you to know something – Jesus Was – Jesus Is – Jesus is to Come! He is real. He will never leave us nor forsake us!

So let’s dig into the text. Luke 24:1-12 NIV

1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but When They Entered, They Did Not Find The Body Of The Lord Jesus. 4 While they were WONDERING about this…

You need to understand just two day prior they physically saw Jesus’ body lay in the tomb, three days prior they saw His body crucified. And they were WONDERING…this word wondering means – perplexed – to be in doubt – surprised and confused so much so they are unsure how to react. Do you wonder? I wonder at times? I see a situation that seems hopeless and even my glimmer of hope is taken away. I become stricken with fear, do you?

Suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why Do You Look For The Living Among The Dead? 6 HE IS NOT HERE; HE HAS RISEN! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 THEN THEY REMEMBERED HIS WORDS.

Often times we worship the dead jesus, we don’t see him as the spirit that dwells within our heart, we see him as that picture on the wall. We go to church but never expect him to transform our lives. He has RISEN and if you have asked him into your heart, I promise, whether you can feel him or not he IS there.

His words, they REMEMBERED His words! The bible is where we gain our HOPE in times of weakness, the word is Jesus. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, John 1:1.

We have to remember the promises of God! Jesus told Mary and the others He will rise again on the 3rd day. But the word did not penetrate their heart. One key principle for overcoming doubt is, know the Word of God…you have to read it to know it and have child-like faith (the amount of a mustard seed) to believe it to be real.

9 When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11 But They Did Not Believe The Women, because Their Words Seemed To Them Like NONSENSE.

This word ‘Nonsense’ means incredibly unbelievable. This tale was so unbelievable the Eleven may have asked if the ladies were feeling well, because they were literally babbling, or so it appeared. This story just had to be complete and utter nonsense. They all saw Jesus crucified! When God begins to transform our life with His Word, it’s hard to explain to someone who has not experienced it. We just know in our knower, its going to turn out in our best interest because Jesus is my Savior. We are suddenly able to conquer fear, instead of dwelling on things we cannot change. Our confident increases because we see how much He loves us and shame can no longer control our thoughts. All of this because we choose to believe He Has RISEN, and is Alive in our hearts!

12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, WONDERING to himself what had happened.

There is that word again, WONERING. But this time it means – to Admire – Marvel – to have Admiration. See Peter had already experienced Jesus, remember the whole rooster crows three times deal? As we grow our faith grows. He was in Awe of Jesus.

Do you wonder if God is working in your life or are you in wonder of how He transforms your life? Our hope in Jesus can take the biggest trial of our life, and turn it into the biggest testimony of our LIFE!

If you are struggling with doubt and disbelief, I challenge you to open your heart to God. REJOICE! Ask Him to show you in His word how special you are to Him. I promise you the bible is not just a book. Jesus was not a person, but God who came to earth in the form of man died on the cross for our sins and rose again on the 3rd day.

No more wondering, be in wonder. You are not alone.

www.BreakTheMoldMinistry.com Michelle Pohl

Maybe you’re in High School and you stick out like a sore thumb because you are not following crowd. God knows. He sees. He dances over you. Many times we don’t get the praise or encouragement we need to keep going. We have to know who we are in Jesus so we can shake off the dust and move on (Luke 9:5) when we don’t feel apart of the crowd. He never leaves us nor forsakes us, so He is there in the good times and the lonely times. H is there to comfort us…my challenge to you is grow in character.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Rest is so sequential in our walk with Christ. We need daily rest to be renewed. Today I have been feeling inadequate. I am a stay at home mom. My two little ones are 2 years and 4 days apart, plus I have an older one in school. I am not a supermom nor can I pretend to be. There are sooo many expectations for a stay at home mom. We try to convey life is perfect, like we are on top of things and in control. But that is rarely the case for most moms and it breeds this discontentment and insecurities. We try to compare ourselves on our worst days to someone else who appears to have it together, it leaves us no choice then to pull them down…or feel inadequate. If you feel you have it together good for you, but I pray you are an encouragement to others, not rubbing it in. Pride comes before the fall, so don’t be bragging.

There are so many expectations for stay at home moms we have to get the house clean, laundry done, make dinner, school runs, homework, volunteer, maintain a good weight, get to the gym, meal plan, budget, ____ fill in the blanks. With all that busyness we don’t have time to rest. We cannot give what we don’t have to give. We need to allow Jesus to take on that burden. When we are focused on our expectations and what other people are doing…we are not focused on our Savior. It is wise to share parenting and organizational tips with other moms. But we can only be who WE were created to be, and only operate in our specific gifts.

So if you are feeling inadequate take time to wait on the Lord. If you are to busy then maybe that means take a time out, drop the kids off with someone you trust. Take them to the park and let them run around while you sit on the bench reading your bible and praying…but I assure you that time of rest will renew your heart. It will take the focus off the noise around you and bring your purpose back to Jesus. Then your vision will become clearer.

Some might say when someone has wronged you that it is what they should ask you for. No I don't think that's forgiveness. True forgiveness is not between you and the person who wronged you, but between you and God. Most ppl who have wronged you will not ask you for forgiveness, we all have egos. So you will never get the validation for your hurt feelings, but if we harbor them, they will eat at our mind and soul. Go to God with your pain ask Him for forgiveness, so He can restore you and make you whole.

I feel sadness from the Lord Almighty tonight. He is hurting because we have forgotten to meet with Him we have stood Him up. We have gotten too busy to spend time with Him in the safety of His courts, in the perimeter of His garden. Genesis 3:8 They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden during the cool of the day. The man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

He yearns for us to visit Him daily for He is a gentleman and will not impose on our busy lives. As we serve Him on yesterday's bread, we are not filled with fresh manna. He sees we are eating junk to be filled, not the nutrients of His garden.

He knows us, He knows what we need, Psalm 139:1. We need our ground to be holy in order to defeat our enemies Deuteronomy 23:14 or He will turn away from us and we will have to fight alone. Without Him we are DEFENSELESS.

He is calling us in the cool of the day, not to condemn us, but to humble us. To bring us back to our rightful place along side of Him. He is a God of second chances. He wants us to seek Him, to desire Him, to want to spend time with Him. He wants to tell us His Will.

All we need to do is go into the garden.

But we are deceived we feel it's been too long. We haven't earned His love, we have messed us to much, we have to earn are right back into the garden. That's a LIE LIE LIE!!!! Don't be deceived, for condemnation is not of Christ Jesus Romans 8:1, shame and guilt is NOT of Him! It is a side effect of the deception. COME TO ME HE SAYS RUN TO ME, like the Prodigal Son Luke 15:20! It's never to long you can never lose my love for you. My Love is UNCONDITIONAL!! Without end!!
We as women are deceived easily by our emotions. When we are out of the garden we are subject to lack of unity with our spouses or those in authority of us. Our husbands are called to be the spiritual head of the home. But because of their love for us we can cause them to be off balance and the effects are harmful to our family. We have to choose not to be offended. WE HAVE TO CHOOSE NOT TO BE OFFENDED. We have the RIGHT to CHOOSE not to be offended. When we choose to are hearts remain soft for Him. He can better reflect in our live. We are to be a light into the world Matthew 15:6. We are to be in the world not of the world 1Corithians 6:19.
