Did you know with the prostate cancer treatment options available today a cure or total remission is almost a 100% foregone conclusion? The truth is astonishing at what has taken place in treatment options over the last 2 decades. You will read about some of the medical therapy used to fight prostate cancer in this article.

First let's get this out of the way. This article is not intended as medical advice, nor should it be taken as medical advice. It is for informational purposes only. As always with a physical illness you should consult your personal physician right away. Please read on for more information.

In order for you to grasp the impact of the remarkable remission stats (5 years or longer) for prostate cancer against other organ cancers, take a look at these comparisons:

•	Prostate Cancer - 98%
•	Breast Cancer - 87%
•	Esophagus -14%
•	Lung and Bronchus - 15 %
•	Pancreas - 4%
•	Testis - 96%
•	Urinary Bladder - 82%
•	Liver - 7%
•	Ovary - 53 %
* These stats may vary by a plus or minus factor depending on the latest studies.

Those types of cancer listed above are just a few of the many different types of organ cancers. But the remission factor for prostate cancer victims is dramatically higher than any of those not listed. These remission results are primarily because of early detection of the disease and the phenomenal prostate cancer treatment options of today.

Each of the treatments available today can be used during the varying stages of development of the cancer. However, there is one therapy that is used very rarely and this is Chemo Therapy.

Chemo is normally used as a last resort type of therapy for prostate cancer. When the other therapies or combination of therapies, such as removal of the prostate gland and hormonal treatment have failed, then chemo becomes the drug of choice for your doctor. However, before it is prescribed, in most cases, the cancer has masticated into other parts of the body including the bones.

Many times a radical prostatectomy (removal) with or without hormonal treatment will do the trick. You may also find, depending on the stage of development of your cancer, your doctor will discuss the option of using Cryotherapy.

Cryotherapy is a newer therapy and may be recommended if you cannot tolerate radiation, hormonal therapy or surgical removal of the prostate gland. The way this is done is by using a probe through the skin to target the tumors. Then the tumor or tumors are frozen. If you use this type of therapy your hospital stay will be shorter, there will be less pain and the recovery period will be shorter.

However, the long term results of this type of therapy are not known as of yet, because it is a newer form of therapy.

Incredibly the prostate cancer treatment options discussed in this article are only a few of the options available to you. You should discuss these options, as well as the others, with your medical team.
Were you aware that nearly 1 out of 6 men living in North America (US and Canada) will have to have some form of prostate cancer treatments during their lifetime? That statistic certainly should have caught your attention. Did it? If you happen to be the 1 out of 6 diagnosed with a prostate malignancy, you are fortunate to live in this day and time. You stand more than a 98% to 100% chance of living more than 5 years after treatment. It is the intent of this article to help educate you about some treatments for prostate cancer.

This article is not intended as medical advice, nor should it be taken as medical advice. It is for informational purposes only. As always with a physical illness you should consult your personal physician right away. Now you can read on for more information.

Although prostate cancer has an extremely high survival rate, compared to other types of cancer, it is still a very serious illness. When your general practitioner informs you of your illness, it is important for you and your GP to discuss it in full. In a great many cases your doctor will refer you to a specialist, such as an urologist or oncologist for further testing and treatment.

Once the results from the advanced testing have been obtained, your doctors will know; which of 1 of 5 stages of development your cancer is in. Depending on the stage of development the tumor is in, will determine the battle plan you and your physician will put together.

Stage One: Malignancy found within the prostate only

Stage Two: More advanced cancer but still contained within the prostate

Stage Three: More advanced and spread outside the prostate to surrounding tissue

Stage Five: Cancer has metastasized (spread) to other parts of body

Recurrent: Cancer has returned after treatments

As this particular form of cancer is a very slow growing type of cancer, there are several options; you and your health professional may elect to follow. Below are some of the options available to you depending on which stage your cancer is in.

Stage 1: Often referred to as localized, the physician may suggest the following treatments:
• Wait and see. (Closely monitored)
• Radiotherapy
• Radical prostatectomy (full removal of the prostate)
• Hormone therapy

Stage 2: More advanced but still localized within the prostate only:
• Watchful waiting (with increased monitoring activity)
• Radiotherapy (may or may not be with hormone therapy)
• Radical prostatectomy (perhaps hormone therapy or not)
• Hormone therapy

Stage 3: Cancer advanced outside the prostate to nearby tissue:
• External-beam radiotherapy (Hormone Therapy or not)
• Hormone Therapy
• Radical removal of prostate (possible hormone therapy or not)
• Increased monitoring by the doctors

Stage 5: Prostate cancer metastasized (spread through out body and bones):
• Hormone therapy
• External-beam radiotherapy (with or without hormone therapy)
• Very closely monitored
• Chemotherapy

Reoccurrence of Prostate Cancer:
• Close monitoring
• Possibly all of the above treatments

One in six of all males within the United States and the borders of Canada will be diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point in their life. That statistic is alarming to you, right? But you can reduce these odds by taking steps to help you be among the five who are not diagnosed with the malignancy.

You will be happy to know that prevention is not actually as difficult as you might think. You should stay away from the proverbial sedate lifestyle. In other words don’t become a “couch potato”. By exercising from 30 minutes to an hour a day, you will produce the hormones and chemicals needed to keep your prostate healthy. Another quick and simple way to help you prevent the disease is eat as healthy as you can. However, if you haven’t led a healthy style there are early warning signs to alert you.
The majority of men diagnosed with a malignant prostate will receive an excellent prognosis about the disease. This disease has an extremely high healing percentage (98%) and many professionals believe it can be cured 100%. Again early diagnosis and prognosis will determine the prostate cancer treatment or treatments available to you.

186,320 men, who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008; and 28,660 with advanced prostate cancer, projected to die in 2008, are asking their Doctor is there hope for a prostate cancer new treatment. This article will discuss the possibility of new prostate cancer treatments as well as proven and tried treatments.

This article is not intended as medical advice, nor should it be taken as medical advice. It is for informational purposes only. As always with a physical illness you should consult your personal physician right away. Please read on for more information.

Those astonishing figures above, 186,320 new cases of prostate cancer and 28,660 deaths in 2008, come form the NIH (National Cancer Institute). For your information you can verify these figures on line using the following URL:
http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/types/prostate. All you have to do is copy and paste the above link into your browser and it will take you straight to the page. Please continue reading.

One of the newest drugs pending approval by the FDA is referred to as Provenge. This drug has been developed by a company called Dendreon. Provenge is believed to have fewer side effects than the other toxic drugs currently approved for use in advanced cases of prostate malignancy. The side effects for Provenge are said to be similar to a case of flu and generally cease after 2 or 3 days. Some of the other toxic drugs side effects are so bad they may even result in death in as many as 1% to 2% of the patients administered the drug.

Provenge has been shown in clinical trials, conducted by Dendreon, to extend life up to as much as 4 1/2 months for those with little hope. However, because of new information required by the FDA this drug may not see approval until the year 2010. Because of the controversy surrounding the FDA’s decision on not approving the drug in 2007, lawsuits have been filed in Federal Court. The details about this controversy are well beyond the scope of this article. Therefore the discussion on other treatments will be continued.

Thanks to recent technology advancements one of the proven therapies, Cryotherapy, has taken on new life and new hope. This therapy is using sub zero temperatures to freeze the prostate tumor or tumors. However, it has been most effective during the early stages of prostate cancer.

It is usually used where the cancer is localized within the prostate. Because it is localized the Doctors are able to treat the tumors with a new needle called a cryoneedle. What is really good news is the preciseness of the treatment.

Thanks to transrectal ultrasound and switching to helium gases and argon, instead of liquid nitrogen, the treatment is more effective than in the past. In addition since it is a minor invasive procedure there is little loss of blood and most patients will get to go home at the end of the day. Those patients with other medical problems may be kept overnight to ensure there are not complications caused by the Cryotherapy.

In conclusion all prostate cancer new treatment should be discussed with your personal Doctor. In fact when it comes to a new treatment of any kind, regardless if it’s for prostate cancer or any other illness, you should ask tell your Doctor you would like to have a 2nd opinion.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

6 Tips About Preventing Prostrate Cancer

6 Tips About Preventing Prostrate Cancer
Did you know, that in the United States alone, it is estimated that more than twenty eight thousand men die from prostrate cancer yearly? However, thanks to early detection, most men that are diagnosed with this type malignancy have a survival rate of almost ninety eight percent. The tips in this article may help increase the survival odds for you.

Although prostrate cancer can occur in men under the age of fifty it is extremely rare. When it does occur under age 50 some doctors feel it may be related to DNA genes from the family or an abnormal problem with the testosterone hormone. Just because it is a rare occurrence in men under 50, this doesn't mean that you can't start preparing yourself to fight off prostrate illness early in your life.

One of the most important steps you can take to help prevent cancer, prostrate or otherwise, is to do your best to have a healthy lifestyle. One of the major lifestyle changes you can do is to stop smoking, if you smoke. Recent studies have not found a direct link from smoking to prostrate cancer; but it is believed it can have adverse affect on the DNA of the malignant growth causing it to spread more rapidly through the prostrate and into other parts of the body. (Journal of Urology (Vol. 169: 512-516).

Not only can smoking speed up the spread of cancer cells throughout your body it also causes major damage to your entire respiratory system. This can lead to problems with your immune system, which is a major contributor for preventing any disease, much less cancer.

Other studies have shown that a healthy diet can also decrease the odds of the early on set of cancer of the prostrate and its severity. Those diets, which are high in fiber and the natural vitamins required by your body, have been shown to be very helpful. Furthermore your natural defenses are increased with this type of diet.

When you are discussing dieting you are invariably led to the subject of exercise. Some of the other studies have shown that a sedate life style leads to a lowering of the body’s natural defense system. Exercise has been shown to help the immune system to work at top proficiency. So not only will you help your prostrate, but again lower the odds of contracting other life threatening diseases. This in turn brings us to one more tip that may be helpful for you.

Early detection is the absolute key to increasing the survival rate for cancer victims, prostrate or otherwise. One of the recommendations being touted is to have the first PSA sample taken around age 40. However, there is a good deal of controversy over this recommendation. Those against it have stated that it will be too early to show any results. While those for it have said it will give a record for comparison as the person ages.

Now we need to give you another tip. No matter which camp your doctor is in it is important for you to discuss your concerns with your physician. The tips provided in this article on prostrate cancer are for information purposes only. They should not be taken as nor considered as medical advice.

Although prostrate cancer can be a life threatening disease, with the proper medical treatment and lifestyle changes, the chances of prostrate cancer being the actual cause of your death are small.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

Tips About Prostate Cancer Radiation Treatment

Astonishingly enough prostate cancer radiation treatment (also referred to as Radiotherapy) may not be the best treatment for you if you have prostate cancer. In fact, depending on your age and health it may be years before radiation treatment becomes necessary. Radiation therapy is only one of the therapies you and your doctor will have to decide on. These tips will give you an idea of which type of therapy or combination of therapy you should ask your doctor about.

First a note of caution:

This article is not intended as medical advice, nor should it be taken as medical advice. It is for informational purposes only. As always with a physical illness you should consult your personal physician right away. Please read on.

One of the first things you need to know is a prostate malignancy is perhaps one of the slowest growing tumors of all the other cancers. Because it is so slow growing years may pass with out any noticeable growth of the tumor. When this happens your doctor will generally tell you that you are in Stage One of the disease.

This means your attending physician may well take a "wait and see" attitude. Before, he or she, decide what course of action is to be taken. You may even think the doctor is being somewhat cavalier about the whole thing. Rest assured though your doctor is not being cavalier. He or she is doing what most practicing physicians will do when you are first diagnosed with prostrate cancer and making the decision if prostate cancer radiation treatment is needed.

During this "wait and see" period your doctor will monitor you closely. There are several tests your physician will use to do this. Actually there is no one test which can determine on its own if you have prostate cancer. Perhaps the most common one is a test known as the Digital Rectal Examination.

More than likely this is the test your doctor may have used to decide you may have a problem with your prostate. This test is quite simple, but uncomfortable, requires the doctor to insert a gloved finger up the rectum. Doing so enables, he or she, to feel the prostate and tumors, thus enabling them to tell if there has been a change in the size of the tumor or additional tumors have formed. There are other tests such as the PSA blood test.

The PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) is a protein which is produced by (you guest it) the prostate gland. Small amounts of the protein pass into the body through the blood.
A normal PSA count, in the blood, is between zero and four.

However, depending on your age it could be higher. Once it reaches a level of 10 or more it can indicate the possibility of prostate cancer. But the truth is other physical conditions could also have the level that high, that is why a PSA test is not the only test used to detect the malignancy. Additional blood test and other test or used to finalize the diagnoses and form a plan of attack on the disease.

One form of attack may be the use of prostate cancer radiation treatment. The Radiotherapy is when your doctor will use a high intensity x-ray to beam radiation directly onto the prostate. This is done in small doses of a few minutes duration at a time. In most cases you will be able to return home the same day. Normally this therapy will be recommended if the disease is localized instead of surgery.

As you have read, there are many tests and other factors, which your doctor must consider, before deciding if prostate cancer radiation treatment should be your plan of attack.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

Breast Cancer - A Focus on Prevention - 3

Breast Cancer - A Focus on Prevention - 3
It's important that you are sure you do not have autoimmune thyroid disease before supplementing with iodine as it can potentially make this condition worse. The form of iodine to ingest is extremely important as well. Iodine supplements come in the form of iodide and iodine. Iodide mainly fortifies the thyroid gland and iodine the breast. It's best to take a compound of both of these types of iodine. I use drops and capsules depending on the patient and the dose needed.

I have written extensively on Vitamin D and it's connection to nearly all types of cancer. There are many, many papers that have been published connecting vitamin D deficiency and breast cancer. Vitamin D is not actually a vitamin but a pro-hormone produced when sunlight contacts your skin. 93% of Americans are deficient in vitamin D so there is a good chance you are as well. Unless you are getting 30 minutes of sunshine on your entire body every day, you are probably deficient. There is no way to get enough vitamin D from food so you must supplement. I test almost every patient for vitamin D in our basic work up and you should be tested as well. Don't rely on the laboratory ranges to gauge your optimal levels. I like to see vitamin D levels between 50 and 100 as opposed to the lab range which states you are sufficient if your levels are greater than 32. I recommend 2-10,000IU/day depending on the patient as each person has different requirements. Make sure your vitamin D supplement also has vitamin K in it and that you also take vitamin A because vitamin D supplementation can cause deficiencies in these fat-soluble vitamins.

Antioxidants come in many forms and are best taken in combination instead of in isolation. EGCG (green tea extract) has been shown to directly inhibit breast cancer cell growth. Resveratrol which is the red pigment found in red grapes has been shown to inhibit breast cancer cell metastasis. When EGCG and curcumin were combined they actually directly inhibited breast tumor cell growth. Diindolylmethane (DIM) as mentioned previously not only enhances healthy estrogen metabolism, but it also inhibits breast cancer cell growth. Coenzyme Q10 is an intracellular antioxidant that has been shown to inhibit breast cancer cell growth. CoQ10 is found in every cell in the body and is important for energy production and DNA repair. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that has been shown to inhibit the growth of all forms of cancer including the breast. It is extremely important that you take vitamin E in the form of "mixed tocopherols." If your supplement just says, "alpha tocopherol" then you may actually increase your risk of cancer. So many supplements only contain this form and millions of Americans are ingesting it unknowingly. Other antioxidants to choose from include quercitin, vitamin C, vitamin A, alpha lipoic acid, selenium, ginger, grape seed extract and melatonin.

A study published in the British Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2006 found that the fatty acid conjugated linoleic acid or "CLA" found in beef directly inhibited the growth of breast cancer cells. I need to make a very important point on meat and breast cancer. Conventional meat is loaded with hormones, toxins and pesticides that significantly contribute to cancer cell growth. Whatever you do, avoid conventional meat like the plague. Grass-fed beef that is free-range and organic does not contain these harmful compounds and it is loaded with CLA. CLA is a potent anti-cancer fatty acid and will also increase your muscle mass and decrease your body fat. Grass-fed beef also contains quite a bit of CoQ10, vitamin A, B-vitamins and essential minerals such as selenium, zinc and magnesium. Grass-fed beef actually has the same essential fatty acids as fish called EPA and DHA which provide all the benefits we read so much about from fish consumption and fish oil supplementation. Remember, it is conventional meat that you must avoid at all costs and not organic, grass-fed, free-range meat. Vegetarians are fine continuing their avoidance of meat.

Lastly, you should be following an alkaline-forming diet which as you know, if you are a patient of mine, this is a fundamental of health that we should all adhere to. An alkaline-forming diet is a diet rich in buffering minerals magnesium and potassium. Alkaline-forming foods are plant-based including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, lentils, legumes etc. Your diet should consist of 60-80% alkaline-forming foods and the other 20-40% can be acid-forming. Acid-forming foods are meat, dairy, and grains. You can test your first morning urine with pH paper looking for the optimum range of 6.4-7.5. Cancer cells have a difficult time surviving in an alkaline pH so maintaining an alkaline-state will give you excellent protection from developing cancer.

In conclusion, since 90% of cancer can be avoided by the avoidance of toxins in our environment, it's so important to take a look at your own environmental space. Make changes to non-toxic products when you can. Exercising 3 days/week has been shown to reduce the risk of cancer. Optimize your vitamin D levels and get evaluated for iodine need. Use some of the antioxidants mentioned in this article for extra protection. If you have a family history of breast cancer then get your hormone levels checked to see if you are at risk. I recommend doing a cleanse at least twice a year to rid your body of excess toxins that may have built up in your system. Alkalize your body and if you need resources for this we have an eBook called the Alkaline Way which we can provide for you at your convenience. I hope this helps you have a clearer picture on the causes of breast cancer and how to prevent it!

According to the world-renowned and brilliant immunologist Dr. Aristo Vojdani, "You and I can be exposed to exactly the same amount of chemicals and our response will differ, perhaps by a hundred fold. Therefore, carcinogenic agents in the environment are more harmful to certain members of society than others who are similarly exposed and significant gains in cancer prevention will come only from ensuring that these more vulnerable people are protected. It has been estimated that in the absence of environmental exposure to toxic chemicals, cancer incidence would be reduced by 90%.

Prevention of cancer is the best treatment, avoiding even 20% of cases in the U.S. Would translate into more than 270,000 people spared from the disease." I hope this illustrates how important it is to avoid products that contain chemicals including skin care, make-up, bathing supplies, dental products etc. Many people go about their daily lives using toxic chemicals on themselves and in their homes completely unaware of the devastating effects they have on the human body. Visit the Environmental Working Groups cosmetic database to see the potential toxicity of the products you are using.

Let's discuss what actually causes cancer. This has been known for quite some time yet it has been ignored due to a long and dirty money trail. Cancer is the most profitable disease in the history of the world so it is very difficult to make inroads with traditional medicine. Cancer is basically a deficiency of DNA repair enzymes due to an intracellular antioxidant deficit and/or insufficient immune system function. This basically means that your cells can no longer repair themselves resulting in mutation. A cancer cell was basically a normal cell that could not be controlled by your immune system. Cancer cells thrive in an anaerobic metabolism meaning they do not require oxygen whereas healthy cells thrive in an oxygen-rich metabolism. We all have cancer cells in us right now but our immune system metabolizes them because we are healthy and have a surplus of antioxidants.

The first test you should have done is a hormone profile that measures the estrogen metabolites 2, 4 and 16 hydroxyestrogens. This will give you your 2:16 ratio which is a risk factor for estrogen dependent breast cancers. If the ratio is off, there are simple steps you can take to optimize your estrogen metabolism. The first is to eat 3 servings of cruciferous vegetables every week. These include broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and cabbage to name a few. These contain the compounds indole-3-carbinol and diindolelylmethane or "DIM" which optimize estrogen metabolism. Obesity is a factor in estrogen metabolism as the more body fat a woman has, the more imbalanced her estrogen metabolism will be to the more toxic estrogen metabolites. Essential fatty acids from fish oil such as EPA and DHA will help healthy estrogen metabolism. And lastly, toxic chemicals such as pesticides that accumulate in the body from conventional food will result in unhealthy estrogen metabolism. Seasonal detoxification/cleansing programs will rid your body of these chemicals and this is one more reason to eat organic foods. The hormone profile will also give you progesterone, DHEA, testosterone, all 3 estrogens and cortisol levels all of which interact in their own unique way.

The second thing you can do to prevent breast cancer is to be evaluated for iodine deficiency. Iodine is a vital nutrient for the health of not only the thyroid, but the breast as well. In fact, when you ingest iodine the body prioritizes all that the thyroid needs and anything left over goes directly to the breast. Iodine works in two ways to prevent breast cancer: It directly destroys breast cancer cells. It optimizes estrogen metabolism shunting the more potent estradiol and estrone to the weaker, yet more protective estriol. You may have an iodine deficiency if you have any of the following symptoms or diseases:

* Fatigue
* Cold hands and feet
* Fibrocystic breasts (lumps or lumpy breasts)
* Hair loss
* Constipation
* Depression
* Heartburn
* Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
* Uterine Fibroids
* Endometriosis
* Dry skin, nails and hair
* Any and all thyroid disorders
* Prostate problems (let's include the guys here since 2% of all breast cancers occur in men)
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

Breast Cancer - A Focus on Prevention

Breast Cancer - A Focus on Prevention
According to the Center for Disease Control, "Aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. Breast cancer is the number one cause of cancer death in Hispanic women. It is the second most common cause of cancer death in white, black, Asian/Pacific Islander, and American Indian/Alaska Native women." Nearly 200,000 new cases of breast cancer will be reported this year. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women and results in 500,000 deaths every year. The more developed the country, the greater the incidence of breast cancer.

Since 1960, approximately one million women-double the number of Americans (male and female) who died in World Wars I & II, and in the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf wars combined-have died from breast cancer.

Unfortunately, breast cancer screening and prevention leaves something to be desired as mammograms, thermography and self-examinations statistically don't fare very well. The best way to be safe is to focus on true prevention which can be done safely and effectively. It's hard to believe that 1/3 of Americans will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime and that statistic is rapidly increasing. Risk factors for breast cancer include:

* Conventional hormone replacement therapy
* Birth control pills
* Alcohol
* Not having children or having your first child after the age of 35
* Menstrual periods before 12 or menopause after 55
* Hair Dyes
* Underarm Deodorants
* Vitamin D Deficiency
* Radiation exposure
* Tobacco
* High fat diet
* Dense breasts
* Overweight
* Toxic chemical exposure
* Xenohormones - plastics, pesticides etc.
* Antioxidant deficiencies
* Silicon implants
* High blood pressure medication

She also promotes weight management, particularly as a response to certain cancer medications such as tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors, which can cause women to put on pounds. Exercise can help healthy people keep in good condition, and also can help patients recover. So please do not hesitate to join the group to do some exercise.

Not smoking, having no more than one alcoholic drink a day, using sunscreen and getting enough vitamin D will also help with long-term survival. Everybody knows that smoking is harmful to those healthy people, not to mention we sick people. To some extent, alcohol is beneficial to people; but if we drink too much, it also will do great harm to our body. So please try to keep away from alcohol.

And for women who struggle with the ongoing fatigue or memory and concentration issues (sometimes referred to as "chemo brain") following treatment, we suggest you seek help rather than suffer in silence. Maybe you can not solve it yourself.

Lastly, she encourages women to connect with other breast cancer survivors, while looking into the many community and online resources now available to help patients move on with their lives. You have similar experience, so you can help each other. The following website will be very helpful.

Actually we need try our best to avoid suffering from breast cancer, because it is much easier and it will bring us any bad effect. What's more, we have to pay obvious attention to our own breast. For example, 35 year-old above female should every year carry on the molybdenum arrowhead X-ray inspection. And most women hate molybdenum arrowhead X-ray inspection because they think this kind of inspection will do harm to their body, because it will release strong radiation. Actually we do not need to worry about it, because it will affect our health little. Everybody knows that the telephone release radiation, but we take it everyday, and do little harm to our health.

On the contrary, we try our best to make it look beautiful, put on clothes for them. And I am that kind of person. I bought the case on the website store where a lot of cases available.

Breast cancer is in-formidable, what we can do is to try our best to defeat it.
So breast cancer got more and more attention. With October designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness month, one expert offers breast cancer survivors some guidance on what they can do to reclaim and maintain their health.

First, cancer survivors should summarize their prior treatment for their primary care physician, and enlist the doctor in an effort to monitor the long-term impact that radiation, chemotherapy and other aggressive interventions can have down the road. In this way, you can find the best way to treat your disease.

Fear of cancer recurrence should be tackled head on, she said, by getting a firm understanding of one's particular risk and seeking out counseling to help manage concerns. It will offer no help if you just worry about the disease but do not give offers to overcome them. Heaven helps those who help themselves.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

Do You Know That Cancer Has More Than Four Hundred Natural Therapies?

Yes! You heard right cancer has more than four hundred natural remedies that has been used by millions of people to beat cancer, if I may ask what is wrong about one using natural foods, fruits, vitamins and a lot of other in expensive and readily available substance and ingredients in reversing, stopping or preventing cancer.

Why is it that most of us don't want to hear anything about alternative treatments? A times when we do, it is only when the conventional medicine has passed death sentence on us; it is only then we turn to alternative treatment grudgingly and a times by then we are weak and fragile without determination or faith to fight cancer.

Make hare white the sum shines, if you or your loved one is diagnosed of cancer, the first thing to do is to summon up courage, refuse to be devastated or depressed, know that you are not the first to pass through this road, others have and they are living evidence of people who has beaten cancer, go ahead and find out how they did it, and how do you find out? Of course, by searching for information, the whole world is now a global village and there are thousands of books on the subject of cancer.

Do your own diligent search, read as much cancer books as you can, this will enable you make informed decisions, from informed choices.

Many are of the opinion that the cancer Establishments is designed to protect the monetary interests of Chemotherapy, Radiation and Surgery, so all you need to do is keep an open mind about all the natural options or alternatives open to you.

The advice I have to give you is that you should not surrender your independent thinking, you have to reason things out and take your own independent decisions. Keep in contact with other patients,or survivors, better, there's need for networking with cancer survivors.

Get in touch with genuine cancer researchers and seek out positive opinions. Read and read and read, there are more than 10,000 books an the subject of cancer, look for some relevant ones to your situation, not knowing where to get some good cancer books, you can look up:

you can also read the articles "Cancer Therapies That Works" in the blog.

Try to find out how others cured their cancer, and remember, what worked for me, may not work for you due to differences in our genetic make up.

Go ahead! Take Control of your own health. No one on earth has more interest in your well-being than yourself, you got to take control of our own destiny and not leave it in the hands of those with vested interest.

Mine is to give you the privilege of having access to informed choices or options, while yours is to make informed and tested decisions that will survive the test of time.
These are:

* Heredity - Women who have relatives like their mothers or sisters who developed the disease have a higher percentage of developing cancer themselves. But it is important to point out that about 85-90% of cases are not hereditary.
* Hormones - Estrogen and progesterone affects cancer formation. Studies reveal that those women who start menstruation at an early age or those that have a late menopause are likely to develop the disease compared to those women who do not.
* Age - As women get older they are most likely to develop breast cancer.
* Gender - It is a common disease for women, however, men can also develop this disease.
* Lifestyle - Studies further show that women who do not have an active lifestyle are at risk at developing cancer of the breast compared to women who exercise a lot and follow a strict diet.

When it first develops, symptoms are not yet noticeable. However, as the cancer cells grow, these changes might become evident:

* Appearance of a noticeable lump in the breast or armpit
* A change in the size of the breast
* Discharge from the nipple occurs
* Color change in the areola

Surgery is considered as the most common way to treat it. There are two known types: the breast-sparing surgery, also called lumpectomy or partial mastectomy which involves the removal of the cancerous lump and mastectomy which removes the entire breast.

Cyberknife Treatment for breast tumors which is a new technology introduced by the Colorado Cyberknife facility is considered a risk-free treatment. This technology can treat tumors via radiation from different angles thereby decreasing the risk of damage to nearby healthy tissues.

Patients who opted to undergo Cyberknife Treatment for breast tumors attest that the treatment is painless and they were able to immediately go back to their normal daily activities. Recovery time is not necessary and most of the treatments are done on an outpatient basis. This state-of-the-art treatment is able to merge convenience and efficiency in just one single treatment.

It is very important that if you notice some of these symptoms to consult a doctor right away. The earlier it is detected, the better for a woman to have complete recovery.

Cancer is characterized by an abnormal growth of tissue cells. Breast tumor or breast cancer is any type of malignant growth found in the breast tissue. This is the most common cancer among women, affecting one of eight American women.

The two most common types of breast cancer are ductal carcinoma which arises from the ducts and lobular carcinoma, found in the lobules. There are two main types of breast tissues: the glandular tissues and the stromal tissues. The glandular tissues have the lobules (milk producers) and the ducts (milk carriers). The stromal tissues include the fatty and fibrous connective tissues. Ductal carcinoma occurs in about 85% to 90% of the cases of breast cancer while lobular carcinoma occurs in just about 8%.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

Breast Cancer Treatment Choices - part 2

A woman who has been diagnosed with cancer, from a biopsy, then will see a surgeon who specializes in breast cancer. Surgery to remove the tumor is always needed, as long as the tumor is in the breast it will grow and chances are the cancer cells will travel away from the main tumor and spread throughout the body. These cells that move away from the main tumor will settle and grow into tumors in other parts of the body, not just the breast. The surgeon will ask questions about the woman's health and ask about the woman's family. If a woman has family members that have, or have had breast cancer, this information will be included in treatment decisions. The surgeon then will discuss ways to treat the cancer. A mastectomy which is a removal of the breast that has the cancer in it, with one or more lymph nodes removed is one choice. A lumpectomy which is removal of the cancer tumor and a small amount of tissue surrounding the tumor is another choice. The size of the tumor, determined by the mammogram, will influence these choices. If the tumor is large a lumpectomy may not be a good choice. The smaller the tumor, the better the chances of survival for the woman. The larger the tumor the more involved the surgery will need to be, such as a mastecomy. Sometimes chemotherapy is needed before surgery; the chemotherapy will hopefully shrink the tumor and kill cancer cells that may have moved away from the main tumor (metastasized). When this is done before the surgery, the hope is that after surgery most or all of the cancer will be gone and only radiation will be needed. Chemotherapy may be needed after surgery depending on the type and stage of the cancer.

Often the surgeon will ask a woman to see a radiation oncologist before her surgery. This consultation will allow the radiation oncologist, another cancer doctor who specializes in radiation, to review the woman's case and to offer choices of treatment. The options this doctor may offer are whole breast radiation after surgery, or partial breast radiation after surgery, or no radiation if a woman has a mastectomy and no cancer cells are found outside the breast that was removed in surgery.

One type of partial breast radiation is brachytherapy. Breast brachytherapy has been available for some time, but not all doctors are familiar with it. Brachytherapy of the breast is a good choice for some women. The size of the tumor and the location of the tumor are two of the determinations if this is a good choice. If the cancer is found out side of the breast, brachytherapy is not a choice for a woman. Brachytherapy is radiation given to the area where the cancer tumor was. This is where most cancers come back, in the same area they were to begin with. Brachytherapy can be given over five days, where as whole breast radiation if given over 6 weeks. This is an advantage for women who do not live near a cancer treatment center, women who live busy lives (most women do), or women who don't want to prolong their treatments. When a woman chooses breast brachytherapy the applicator that will allow radiation to go right into the space where the cancer was; is placed at the time of surgery. Brachy means close. It is another advantage of brachytherapy. Only the tissue around where the cancer tumor was is radiated; the normal tissue is exposed either not at all or to such a low level of radiation it is not affected by the radiation.

The brachytherapy treatments are given two times a day, at least 6 hours between treatments, for a total of ten treatments. This type of radiation requires special equipment and knowledge, many cancer centers now have both the equipment and the radiation oncologists that are specialized in this treatment.

The other type of partial breast radiation is accelerated partial breast radiation. This type of treatment also requires that the tumor is small and no cancer has been found outside the breast. This type of radiation can be given over a shortened time, days instead of weeks. The equipment to give these treatments is IMRT, which most if not all cancer centers have. This is external beam radiation that goes from the outside of the breast to the inside of the breast and radiates all of the tissue in the area. The advantages to this treatment are it takes less time, although it is also two treatments a day at least 6 hours apart, and it only radiates the portion of the breast where the cancer tumor was.

Whole breast radiation has been around for a very long time and is what all women received until the past 15 years or so. This type of radiation involves one treatment a day Monday through Friday for 6 weeks, a total of 30 treatments. It is external beam radiation that goes from the outside of the breast to the inside of the breast and radiates all of the tissue in the breast and surrounding area, not just the area where the tumor was. This type of treatment is favored when the tumor is larger or the cancer cells were found outside of the breast, such as in one or more lymph nodes. The lymph nodes can be included in the whole breast radiation. Some women will choose whole breast radiation because it has been used for so very long. Partial breast radiation has shown the same effectiveness in studies, when the woman is a candidate for brachytherapy.

Chemotherapy and biological therapy or hormone therapies are needed in specific cases. These treatment choices should be dicussed with the surgeon, the radiation oncologist and a medical oncologist.

What ever choose a woman is given they need to be well understood before she makes her decision. Asking questions of her doctors and talking to her loved ones will be helpful. If a woman's decision is thought out it will probably be the best choice for her. Prayer always is beneficial.

God Bless you.
These are the best ways to prevent reoccurrence of cancer. The most common place for cancer to come back is in the same area where it was found the first time.

The determination of which treatment is best for an individual is based on the pathology of the disease. The initial biopsy, which is done when the cancer is first suspected, will tell what type of cancer is present and whether it is hormone receptive. The knowledge of hormone receptors, or not, found will be part of the decision making information for an individual's treatment. Some types of tumors are stimulated by normal hormones found in a woman's body, such as progesterone, estrogen, and HER-2. A tumor may show a positive response to one or more of these hormones. By knowing this information, a plan of treatment can be offered that will improve a woman's chances of cancer free survival.

The pathology from the surgery, done to remove the cancer tumor, will tell if the entire tumor was removed and if cancer was found in the lymph nodes. During surgery the surgeon can see the cancer tumor, but not all of the cancer cells can be visualized. So the tumor is sent to a pathologist who puts the tumor and the surrounding tissue that was removed by the surgeon under a microscope. This way cancer cells that might be outside the main tumor can be seen. The lymph nodes that were removed in surgery can also be looked at under a microscope and it can be determined if there are cancer cells found in the lymph nodes. Often a Sentinel Node can be found, if a dye is used before surgery. This dye is injected before surgery and will show which node is the main node that drains fluid from the cancer tumor site. (The lymphatic system drains non blood fluids throughout the body.)

If lymph nodes are found to have cancer cells within them the cancer has moved from the tumor site to other areas in the body. This movement of cancer cells away from the tumor indicates metastasis, or stray cancer cells that are traveling in the body. The final pathology will offer much information about the type of cancer, the location of the cancer and how best to treat the cancer to provide a cancer free life for the woman.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

Breast Reconstruction Options After Mastectomy

Breast cancer is a common cancer nowadays. Some of the patients will have to undergo a surgical operation as a part of the management plan. Mastectomy is a surgery that involves the removal of one or both breasts. This surgery can cause an emotional and a cosmetic problem in those women due to the loss of her breast.

However the solution is Breast reconstruction. As the name suggests, it is a surgery that rebuilds the breast after mastectomy so that the normal shape and size will be attained. There are many factors involved and will be explained in details in this article.

Timing of reconstruction:

Reconstruction can be done either immediately after mastectomy (in the same surgical setting) or delayed after months and years from the mastectomy surgery.

Studies have shown a psychological effect, cost-effectiveness and better cosmetic appearance with the immediate reconstruction.

Surgical options:

Reconstructions can be done by the use of either autogenous (originating the patient's own body) or alloplastic (implantation of an inorganic material) or both.

i. The most common method used is Tissue expander - Breast implant.

Indications of implants reconstruction:

1. Bilateral reconstruction

2. Patient requesting augmentation + reconstruction

3. Patient not fit for long surgery

4. Patient not willing to have more scars on the back or abdomen

Contraindications:

1. The need for adjuvant radiotherapy

2. Previously failed implants

3. Implant fear

ii. A common autogenous method is also used:

Flap reconstruction. This method uses tissues from other parts of the patient's body such as the back (latissimus dorsi muscle flap) or the abdomen (TRAM flap).

Latissimus dorsi reconstruction:

Indications:

1. Small breast

2. Mild breast ptosis

3. Abdominal donor site unavailable

Contarindications:

1. Very large breast in a patient who does not desire reduction

2. Previous lateral thoracotomy

TRAM flap:

Indications:

1. Breasts of all sizes

2. Breast ptosis

Contraindications:

1. Previous abdominoplasty

2. Patient unfit for long surgery

3. Patient unable to tolerate long recovery period

There are more surgical options in breast reconstruction but we mentioned the most common ones done.

Besides surgical details were not explained for the sake of making the topic much easier and clearer.
Over 1.3 million of women are diagnosed who acquired this kind of disease every year. Wherein almost half a million of its patients died, on its record 40,000 of them came from the US.

Many of us are unaware about the signs of breast cancer, and it is very important to know the early signs of this illness for early treatments and medications.

Most of the times, there are no outer signs that you can see or feel to know if you have acquired the illness. However, we can say that the only sign that you can recognize is the occurrence of a lump or a thickening area in the breast. Other signs to recognize are enlargement of the underarm lymph node, breast swelling and redness of the area.

Even you experienced all of this signs of breast cancer; it does not mean that you already have the cancer. In most cases, having breast lumps does not ensure you that you have an acute kind of cancer, it usually turn out to be benign, a not cancerous type of lumps.

If your major concern is to know whether these lumps are cancerous, it is very important for you to visit your doctor immediately to ease your worry. Having a physical breast examination can help you find if you do have lumps that have big potential of becoming cancerous.

Women who are in their late 40's are the most affected and at risk of having this kind of illness. Having annual mammogram and monthly physical examinations can help you for easy detection and diagnosis of breast cancer.

The most commonly diagnosed cancers worldwide are lung (1.61 million, 12.7% of the total), breast cancer (1.38 million, 10.9%) and colorectal cancers (1.23 million, 9.7%).
Breast Cancer Treatment in the mainstream medicine consists of three choices:
1) Chemotherapy
2) Surgery
3) Radiation Non of them can cure the underlying cause of breast cancer. All three mainstream treatments share the same intention - to "kill or cut". The allopathic approach 'there is a symptom and it must be eliminated' does not solve the problem and is not based on any scientific evidence for successful breast cancer treatment.
The metastasis theory proposes that cancer cells break off of a primary tumor, travel through the bloodstream and lymph system, and randomly attach to other organs, where they cause a second cancerous growth. The process is believed to be uncontrolled, with mutated, "malignant", and rogue cells acting on their own, against the normal order and intelligence of the body.
"How cancer cells become metastatic still remains a mystery" Yale University
New breast cancer treatment must be watched and understood in a holistic way, considering the whole body, mind and spirit as unity. On the physical level it is obvious that there must be an imbalance present to cause any kind of organic problem. On the mental - emotional level is a conflict always the main cause for emotional distress. To be receptacle to any form of disease our biological energy levels in the meridian system must be low or extremely low.
Emotional stress (shock, conflict) is lowering the biological energy in the entire meridian system immediately and can disturb the pH balance in the body, which will have an effect on the physical level. Breast cancer is always the result of an unexpected conflict or shock with tremendous impact. Is the woman right handed and there was a child conflict present - cancer will develop in the left breast, was it a partner conflict the cancer will be in the right breast and vice versa if the person is left handed. To develop more cells rapidly in the breast is just a natural reaction of the body to that conflict and it is a sign that the person is already in the healing phase.
It is more than ridiculous to kill or cut out this natural solution of the body to the conflict. It will do more harm than good. To be able to solve the problem with a holistically oriented breast cancer treatment we consider four main issues to be solved.
1) Work on the conflict-shock situation to overcome it.
2) Increase the meridian energy level on a daily basis ( pulsating energy resonance therapy )
3) Complete detoxification (MMS) and balancing of the pH level
4) Change of nutrition and emotional behavior - (let go therapy)
All four components can be successfully accomplished from home. They have no side effects, work completely natural and guarantee 100% remission in breast cancer therapy.
In addition to the standard cancer treatments of chemotherapy, radiation and surgical therapies, there are also a number of alternative treatments that can be utilized. Hyperthermia, which is a method of using heat to weaken and destroy cancer cells, is one of these alternative treatments. Researched and studied by doctors such as Dr. James Haim Bicher, hyperthermia offers new hope and help for many cancer patients. These treatments, offered as an alternative to surgical and high dose chemotherapy methods, have produced good results for many people.
The Theory behind Hyperthermia
Hyperthermia works on the principle that cancerous tumor cells, due their disorganized structure, are less likely to be able to withstand the detrimental effects of heat as compared to healthy body cells. As a result, when cancer cells are exposed to heat, they are weakened or even killed. Because of the effect the heat has on the cells, hyperthermia is sometimes used alone for the purpose of directly killing cancer cells. However, more often it is used in conjunction with other traditional treatments, to weaken the tumor cells and make them more susceptible to the other treatments. For example, when hyperthermia is used prior to radiation therapy treatments, the tumor is rendered more susceptible to radiation. As a result, the other more traditional treatments are often more successful. Because it works so well as a complementary therapy, it is often paired with other cancer treatment methods. Patients have experienced success with hyperthermia, even in cases where the cancer has become advanced or has reoccurred.
Administering Hyperthermia Treatments
Because not all cancers are alike, there is no one way to administer hyperthermia treatments. Depending on the location and type of cancer, there can be different therapy methods that can be more effective. In some cases, the heat is applied externally. This often works best on cancerous tumors that are present in the skin, or are at least located close under the skin. In these cases, high frequency waves can be applied externally, using a device outside the body, to apply the heat to the cells. If the cancer is not accessible externally, then internal methods of applying the heat must be utilized. In these cases, sterile probes are sometimes used in order to access the cancerous cells. Using the probes, heat is applied directly to the cancerous cells, often by using high frequency energy. For cancers that have spread throughout the body, there are also whole body hyperthermia methods that can be used.
Receiving Hyperthermia Treatments
For the cancer patient, hyperthermia treatments often produce far fewer serious side effects, as compared to many other cancer therapies. Although patients sometimes experience reddened skin, irritation, blisters, or perhaps a minor burn, these effects are generally far less severe than what is experienced with many other cancer treatments. Although whole body hyperthermia methods do tend to carry a greater risk for side effects, as long as the treatments remain within the accepted temperature limits, the normal body cells generally remain unharmed. Because of the work of dedicated doctors and researchers, cancer patients can often find new hope in the form of hyperthermia.

       If you're looking for an alternative cancer treatment, then you should talk with Dr. James Haim Bicher MD from the Valley Cancer Institute (recently renamed Bicher Cancer Institute). Women with cancer of the breast may suffer from its symptoms and treatments. Moreover, this type of cancer is not only a single disease. There are several kinds of this cancer and they may have greatly other implications. This type of cancer also ranges from restricted cancers like ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) to enveloping cancers that can quickly scatter.
Furthermore, in the center of the spectrum are breast cancers like papillary carcinomas and colloid carcinomas that have a much more positive viewpoint than the other more normally enveloping these cancers. With this, there are also several symptoms of cancer of the breast that you can see and feel. The most common of all is the lump in your breast.
Once you notice a lump or are aware of any new changes in your breast, you must need to see your doctor right away. Even though most of the lumps in breast are not cancerous, you still need to go to your doctor so that you can know if you have the chances of having this kind of cancer. Additionally, if you have this cancer, your doctor can give you an earlier medication and treatment.
Other symptoms of breast cancer are:
1. Changes in shape or size of your breast.
2. The dimpling of breast's skin.
3. The breast tissue is thickening.
4. The nipple on your breast is become inverted.
5. The thickening or lump behind your nipple.
6. You may also see some rashes like eczema that affects your nipple.
7. The rare symptom of this kind of cancer is a blood stain that discharges from your nipple.
8. The lump or swelling in your armpit.
On the other hand, remember that pain in your breast is typically not a sign of this cancer. As a matter of fact, several healthy women find that their breasts feel tender and lumpy before a period. In addition, some kinds of breast lumps that are not cancerous can be painful.

In order to survive in this kind of disease and if you feel and see that you are already experiencing some of its symptoms, then you are advisable to go to your doctor for early diagnosis and treatment.
It is estimated that more than twenty-eight thousand men die yearly from prostate cancer. Most men that are diagnosed with this type of malignancy have a survival rate of almost ninety-eight percent thanks to early detection. I hope the information in this article may help increase the survival for you.

Though prostate can occur in men under the age of fifty it is really uncommon. When it does not occur under age 50 some doctors feel it may be related to DNA genes from an abnormal problem with the testosterone hormone or from the family. The fact that it is an uncommon occurrence in men under 50, doesn’t mean that you can’t start preparing yourself to fight off prostate illness early in your life.

Doing your best to have a healthy lifestyle is one of the most vital steps you can take to help prevent cancer, prostate or otherwise. Try as much as possible to stop smoking, if you smoke as this is one of the major life style changes you can take. It is believed that smoking can have adverse effect on the DNA of the malignant growth causing it to spread more rapidly through the prostate and into other parts of the body. (Journal of Urology – Vol. 162:512-516)/

Smoking helps to speed up the spread of cancer cells throughout your body and also causes major damage to your entire respiratory system. This can contribute to problems with your immune system, which is a major contributor to preventing any disease, much less cancer. So my advice is for you to abstain from smoking if you do, prevention is better than cure.

Most studies have shown that a healthy diet can also decrease the odds of the early on set of cancer of the prostate and its severity. The natural vitamins required by your body, and those diets (exercise), which are high in fiber have been shown to be very helpful.

It has been shown by other studies that exercise helps the immune system to work at top proficiency. You will not only help your prostate, you will also lower the odds of contracting other life threatening diseases.

Again like I said earlier on this article, early detection is the key to increasing the survival rate for cancer victims, prostate or otherwise.

Having the first PSA sample taken around age 40 is one of the recommendations being touted. However, there is a good deal of controversy over this recommendation. Those against it have stated that it will be too early to show any results. While those for it have said it will give a record for comparison as the person ages.

Here is another tip. It doesn’t matter which camp your doctor is in it is important for you to discuss your course with your physician. The tips provided in this article on prostate cancer are for information purposes only. They should not be taken as medical advice.

Though prostate cancer can be a life threatening disease with the proper medical treatment and lifestyle changes, the chances of prostate cancer being the actual cause of your death are small.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer

DO YOU KNOW? - THESE FOODS PREVENT BREAST CANCER

It is being claimed by many health food producers today that their products can help reduce and prevent cancer. This is not true. Some of these producers say these just to promote their product. This fact might confuse consumer suffering for cancer that are in search of other treatment options and this might worsen the disease.
It has been shown by current research and clinical data on cancer patients, that most cancer patients have a common eating habit. Some of the alkaline foods that can prevent and kill cancer cells are brown rice, seeds, fish, fresh fruits, fresh organic vegetables, sea weed etc.

This has been a recurrent question for well over hundred years. There may not be a definite answer for the question. However, this article is aimed to give you food for thought and might help you form some questions to ask your doctor.

This article serves as information purposes only not for medical advice. Always consult your personal physician when any physical illness arises.

Before locking in the proper treatment for you, there are many factors which needs to be taken into consideration by you and your medical team. The difficult thing, is that each individual man diagnosed with prostate cancer is going to be different form the other patient. Patient A may be in almost perfect health, except for the beginning stage of the malignancy. While the patient B may have other life threatening diseases which will restrict the type of treatment to be given.

Your Doctor may prescribe not to do anything for a while. He may just want you to wait and watch. And you might be upset with the prescription by your Doctor. The reason this process is applied is because prostate cancer is so slow growing and the symptoms are so slow developing, he or she may not know which treatment may be the best for you.

The best prostate cancer treatment may well only be one type of treatment or it may be a combination of several. In other words, one or more treatments will be recommended depending on the stage level of your illness. You may want to get a second opinion as this might be a complex decision. You shouldn’t hesitate to get that 2nd opinion if you are uncomfortable with your teams’ recommendation.

Radiotherapy by itself may be used whether your cancer has spread into the close surrounding.

This treatment is administered by a focused x-ray been directly to the prostate gland. If the tumor, has infected the surrounding tissue or lymph’s of the prostate the treatment above can also be used.

Removal of the prostate of the radiotherapy treatment to the surrounding tissues (radical prostatectomy) combined with the use of radio therapy and perhaps hormone therapy. What this means for you is that the infected areas will receive radioactive wave plus a hormone which will block the male testosterone being release into the prostate.

With the development made in medical technology, such as laser beam, the prostatectomy can be performed with little or no damage done to the surrounding nerves and nerve endings.

Before I conclude let me remind you that it is very important for you to consult your medical team before deciding on the best prostate cancer treatment. It is now know to you that there are many options to choose from as to the treatment you will receive for prostate cancer.
breast cancer awareness, cure for breast cancer, cure breast cancer, prevent breast cancer
