Whilst this form is quite cool, in that it’s generated from song data, it would take a ridiculous amount of time to slice, then print. Instead I need to take a different approach and push and pull a single form rather than composite many forms as this one is currently.

One of the reasons for upgrading to the Replicator 2 was so I could fab enclosures for my various electronic machines. This one is for an exhibition in Cincinnati next week. Though the box will be hidden inside a podium, it’s allowed me to neatly house all the electronics making the whole thing much more robust. I used the electronic device packaging OpenSCAD script you can find on Thingiverse.

Internet connected thing I've built with them - just as a small demo. It's a very simple example but
the potential of Electric Imp's hardware and infrastructure is very exciting. Now we have
to ask ourselves, what conversations are we going to have with these objects?

FIDO (Frugal Internet Data Object) fetches Yahoo! weather data for my area and displays the results via icons laser etched on to a wooden wheel. The colour of the light also indicates the forecasted high for the day using the same colour coded system as the Weather Channel.

I'm not really sure where this is heading yet but I'm playing with another "do nothing" toy to follow up the Elena iPhone app. I want this one to leverage the interaction between two points on the screen with size and rotation influencing some kind of shapes making system.
