Got the third monitor for displaying the movie up on a heavy duty pole, over the center channel speaker. Works perfectly.

Had to get a third lcd to display the film, and thusly picked up the ATI radeon HD 3870.

turns out not having a monitor up the middle where all the dialogue was coming out of and looking off to one side or the other was really disconcerting when watching 5.1 material.

Ran the Cat 5 cable, just making sure everything works before I start dressing them. This is the JBL LSR control center software used for making global changes to all the speakers on the network, for muting and soloing them, et cetera. So far it's all working...

Found a great affordable place for racks of any size: cheapstudioracks.com. 35 bucks for a two spacer. Great deal!

And that takes care of the bass traps for the front end of the room. Now I can start running the cable on that end for the four additional speakers.
