The idea to make these Bunny Slipper Cookies has been rumbling around in my brain ever since I created my Pink Fuzzy Slipper Cookies using Nutter Butter Cookies. Why, you ask has it taken so long for me to post them? I didn’t write the idea down and I have fuzzy brain syndrome, a.k.a. middle age. I kept forgetting about them. I’m so glad the idea finally came back into the forefront of my mind before Easter arrived.

The concept revolves around an end of world, Apocalyptic scenario. Liana and Cia are representing the Element of Earth. I played a dead body that the girls were shocked to discover. The flaming debris was all that was left of the destruction.

All was going relatively smoothly until the park ranger showed up at the end of the clip. Luckily we were on the Dania Beach side of the fence

Q.  What does a Social Media Manager do?

A social media manager deletes all the negative posts from your Facebook page right?  Tweets about how amazing your company is and woos top shelf talent from Linkedin ya?

A.  A good one grows your brand, creates loyal customers, and generally increases your company’s bottom line.

Q.  What should you look for in a Social Media Manager?

I’m looking for a social media manager or two right now because I don’t feel like I have the necessary skill set or the time and patience to manage my every growing list of web outlets.

To me, it’s impossible to generalize what a good social media manager does because a good one would do entirely different things for two different companies.

A.  There are definetely some character traits, some skill sets, and some resume highlights that you should probably look out for.

- better than average writer

-general management skills

-proven community building ability

-the ability to get quality media produced and in front of lots of eyeballs

Anyway, I just wrote this post to get some discussion flowing and find out what you think a good social media manager brings to a company!

I was getting a ton of requests for a comparison chart between the various E-mail delivery systems out there so here’s the beginning.

It’s not an easy job as each company offers a different suite of products and I only have personal experience with so many of them.

IWowe is in the webinar and video conferencing business and seams to have competitive pricing. none Extensive Event Marketing services. Quality survey creation and handling. Amazing support community. Social Media training and integration is top shelf. You have to buy in at $250 and the monthly goes to $35 but Talkfusion throws in Live Broadcasting, Video Conferencing and lots of extra goodies! ArtServe and Mary O’Hara are hosting what should be an amazing art show starting July 22nd here in Fort Lauderdale!

The Red Eye is an innovative and  exciting event aimed at promoting fresh, underground art. The exhibit is an energetic and creative concept that offers artists in all artistic disciplines, an open forum of expression. This is the only exhibit that enmeshes gallery art with street art.

Artwork being showcased should fall into one of the following themes:

Lowbrow/Pop Surrealism Art – artwork that has origins in the underground comix world, punk, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures (ex: game art renderings and tattoo art)

Social Commentary Art – artwork that makes a statement about current society or current trends.

Q. What is Digital Marketing to you?

A. To me it’s the Ipad vs. the Newspaper
-It’s Google Maps vs. the Yellow Pages
-It’s Email vs. Printed Mailers
-It’s a TV Commercial vs. a web video campaign.

TV/Video/Film/Photo are all sort of grey areas because they are all either making or have made analog to digital transmission for the most part.

In my opinion the question of where to put most of your marketing efforts is a complete no brainer.  If you aren’t leveraging the world-wide shifts in communication and social interation you’re really not paying attention.

The power of technology and the new Internet is almost unstoppable.  Countries and governments are going to try and control it but look what Twitter did in Egypt.  I’m pretty sure you don’t have a countrywide Internet kill switch in your circuit breaker panel.  Don’t fight the wrong wars with the wrong weapons.

I’ll do my best on here and www.NewWebTalk.com to give you some helpful tips here and there but here are some other good resources:
