I picked up next months Store newsletter for the UK earlier this evening and June promises to be a great month. Firstly as we told you last week, the Tower of Orthanc will be on offer first to VIP&#8217;s only from 17th June till the 30th June. This is 4th exclusive model this year after Horizon Express, Palace Cinema and the X-Wing, with two more due out later in the year. Also don&#8217;t forget from 1st stores will be getting in the first lot of summer sets such as City, Legends of Chima, Star Wars and for the first time Galaxy Squad and more. Plus if that is not enough to get you shopping from the 1st if you spend £25 or more you get a free TNMT Splinter Keyring and if you spend £50 or more you get an exclusive Jor-EL minifigure (Supermans Dad). Speaking of keyrings in store they have a gold chrome minifigure and brick in store, as well as a white Batman and Brickie keyring. The free monthly mini build next month is a fisherman that looks pretty neat and you can build this in store on the 6th June 4pm till 6pm. On Fathers Day kids aged 6-14 can get their Dads to join in a speed build to build a LEGO Superman. The next LEGO Catalog will be sent out from the 6th of June as well. Their is a building event on Westfield Stratford City from 31st May till 2nd June and one at Watford from the 14th till the 16th June. Finally the Glasgow Store will be having their grand opening event from the 7th till the 9th of June and will work exactly the same as the recent one in Leeds, with t-shirt first day, brand store the second and minifigs the 3rd. For more details visit LEGO.com/Stores.<div class="feedflare">

This weeks Cuusoo staff pick article is themed around Space, I asked various staff members to go over to Cuusoo and pick their fav project that is themed on Space and then write a short quote as to why they picked it and why they think it should be voted for my the general public. This week the guys have picked a iconic space ship, a monorail, a architecture project. For my pick it took some searching due the fact if you type in Space you get snowed under by tons of LDD creations that have had little to know effort put into them and a host of Star Wars themed projects. I wanted for my pick to avoid anything licensed but that proved harder than first anticipated. Apollo 11 Lunar Mission Chris was the one who suggested a Space week so he got first pick and decided to pick the Apollo 11 Lunar Mission which has been on Cuusoo since 2008, the models are really well presented and you can&#8217;t pick a more iconic part of human history then the moon landing, Chris explains why he picked it. Space Mining Monorail Adam has picked a project by Eurobricks staff member Hinkley and is a soft spot with most AFOL&#8217;s monorail, this project combines a classic theme Space with one of the most sort after sets by all AFOL&#8217;s monorail, will we ever see another monorail, who knows but Adam explains why you should vote for it. Architecture : Space Shuttle crawler transporter Martin likes his Architecture themed projects and this week he has gone for Teazza&#8217;s architecture version of his Space Shuttle Launch Complex, the project has been beautifully rendered and I feel would add more depth and appeal to architectural sets if we had more like this. Martin explains why he picked it. So my pick was last but after taking a look to see if anything new caught my eye, I knew which project I wanted to feature. It just happens to be the larger version of the project Martin picked. I first featured this on Brick Fanatics last year before it was a Cuusoo project and just loved the detail that Teazza has put into it and if it became a model I would love to do a scene either based on cape canaveral with this as my center piece and I think a lot of people would do likewise so I think it is worth getting it to 10,000 supporters. &#160;<div class="feedflare">

One good thing about LEGO is there is always a competition to enter, for the past few months the LEGO social site reBrick have been running a contest in conjunction with the people behind the LEGO Movie. The competition tasked users to create a short film that would be in the LEGO Movie. Yesterday during all buzz with the massive X-Wing reveal in Time Square they also announced the winners of the competition. The judges consisted of Kevin Hinkle the NA Community Coordinator and Phil Lord and Chris Miller from the LEGO Movie. The winning entry and the two runners up are displayed below. 1st place &#8211; Gorgy wants a Horse 2nd place &#8211; Garbage Man 3rd place &#8211; Unity is strength<div class="feedflare">

So not to be out done by their DC rivals Marvel are also running a competition (well technically it&#8217;s LEGO doing it for the upcoming Marvel Super Hero Game), all you have to do is take a photo of your original LEGO car, plane, boat, spaceship, (or something you&#8217;ve imagined!) and submit it by June 4th for a chance to have it in the game plus your name in the credits! So basically build any type of vehicle that you think would be a good addition to the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game and your vehicle could be featured in the ACTUAL GAME! Your model must be constructed using only genuine LEGO® bricks and other LEGO® building toy elements. The good news is this is open worldwide the bad news is you must be on Facebook to enter it. I have also been told to enter you will need to do so via your desktop or laptop, here are the main rules for the competition: The model shown in your submission should be any type of vehicle that you think would be a good addition to the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game and must be constructed using only genuine LEGO® bricks and other LEGO® building toy elements (including LEGO® DUPLO®, LEGO® Technic, and LEGO® MINDSTORMS® elements). For full rules and terms and conditions click here and if you are going to enter then please click here and good luck<div class="feedflare">
