The floral trend is going big this spring/summer. I personally love it, but if you are not that sure about rocking full on floral apparel try accessorizing with little bits and pieces of this trend. Maybe a floral pump, or a handbag, maybe a blazer. This will add a little bit of trend without feeling like you're borrowing your grandma's wardrobe.

Fuller Longer Lashes

I had noticed my lashes were needing a little more tlc, they were getting thinner and just looking weak overall, so I decided to make my own concoction and make my own serum. I have been doing this now for the past month or so and I have noticed my lashes become stronger, and fuller, and what girl doesn't Love that?! :)

I cleaned out an old mascara tube and mixed the aloe vera gel (here), vitamin e capsules (here), and castor oil. I put it on every night with out fail, I sometimes even dab a little on my eyebrows.

Make-up Dupes

There's no denying that I love my high end make up products but for when you are on a budget I have found some amazing dupes that work practically the same. :)

Foundation: I normally don't wear foundation on a regular basis but when I'm going to be photographed or on special occasions I like to use this HD foundation by Makeup Forever. This is amazing and it has great coverage without that cakey feeling. But if you don't want to shell out the ($42.00) for this foundation you might want to try this Revlon Photo Ready Foundation. At only ($11.00) this product does so much more than its price is worth. Its long lasting, amazing coverage and you can't beat the price seriously.

Blush: Blush is a major part of my make up routine I think every girl needs a little color on their face to make you look young and fresh and ready to go. Almost everything that Bobbi Brown makes is literally perfect and this ($25.00) pale pink blush is so perfectly pink and gorgeous. It goes practically on every skin tone and is perfect for every day use. It was hard to find a good dupe for this one but when I came across this e.l.f product I was amazed at how much I liked it. The only down side to this product is the lasting power. You do have to reapply this more often than I would like but at ($3.00) you can beat that!!

Gel Liner: Once again I have chosen a Bobbi Brown product, this gel eyeliner is great. Its pigmented, creamy, and so easy to apply. Although it is a bit pricey at ($23.00) for 1 oz of product it does last you a long time. But if you want a great alternative you can pick up this Maybelline Gel Liner, its a great product for when you are on a budget.

Lip Balm: Everyone needs a to go balm you can grab when you are running out the door. I love this balm from Clinique. It is creamy and looks natural and oh so pretty. But I also LOVE this one from Revlon, at only around $8.00 you can not beat that.

Lipstick: Lipstick is hands down probably one of my favorite products. It can easily transform you from bland to gorgeous and put together. I'm not one to shy away from bold strong colors, and this Candy Yum yum lipstick from Mac is almost a cult among beauty gurus and bloggers. As it should be, it is a bright and very pigmented fuchsia color perfect for spring/summer. So when Maybelline came out with their Vivids Limited edition colors this Fuchsia Fever caught my eye. Although it's not the exact same color it is very similar and creamy, super pigmented as well.

Black & White: Spring 2013 Trend

Im sooo sooo excited to finally open my own shop at etsy. I've always had a passion for beauty and skin care products. Ive been working really hard trying to create some of the products I use daily but are much more expensive at sephora, ulta and all the other department stores we love to shop at. I've started with something I use so much and I don't think I could live without. Body Scrubs!!! I honestly use my scrubs so much, I love to exfoliate my whole body, especially my feet, elbows, hands, and legs. I use all natural products and oils. So Im happy to finally bring it to all you girls. :) I will be adding more products in the future but for now stock up and spoil yourself.
