Every second Saturday, you can participate in one of the most unique events in Downtown Tulsa when you take part in the Second Saturday Walking Tour of the architecture in the downtown area.

The event starts at Topeca Coffee in the Mayo Hotel, and you will be able to enjoy a one-hour walking tour of some of the most innovative and inspiring architectural aspects of Tulsa’s skyline. Admission is $10 per person, and the proceeds benefit the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture.

The walking tours were started by the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture, and each tour will visit different components of the city’s amazing architecture, from historic buildings with well-kept style and design like the Mayo Hotel to recently renovated historic works of architectural art. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the city and learn more about the unique buildings that make up our city’s scenic skyline.

The Brookside Rumble & Roll hits the streets June 5, 2014 to raise money for Make A Wish Oklahoma. With hundreds of motorcycles in the ride, that roar is the sound of kids’ wishes coming true. Last year, this event raised over $17,000 and was able to pay for three wishes to be granted to sick children.

If you ride and want to take part, register at the website or at Myers-Duren Harley Davidson. It’s only $10 per person. Riders will gather at 5:30 pm at the University of Tulsa near the Reynolds Center and will ride to Brookside, where the off-the-bike party gets started at 7 pm with musical artist Mary Cogan performing live.
