Dear Ones,
I am profoundly touched by your faith and your real life demonstration of what it looks like to love God and others no matter what. I am profoundly touched by your gracious, surrendered, honest response to your pain. I am profoundly sad that your family has to suffer in this way. My favorite name God calls us is "Sought After" (I forget where it is). I pray you all feel sought after by Him today. With tears flowing and deep gratitude, I am going to borrow some of your extraordinary faith. Sending love and prayers for healing from Laguna Beach . . .

I love this story and the truth told therein.

I have had first hand experience with pain and suffering in my 53 years and have discovered this fact:

Mathematical Equation SUFFERING = BLESSING!!

God Bless Daisy and all the people who get to read your family's incredible story.

Written with Love

Brother Britt,

Thank you. My friends and I are praying for Daisy and your family.

Our family has been through breast cancer with my wife, so your message on "Struck Down But Not Destroyed" totally resonates with me. I'm tracking with you, brother.

BTW, thanks for the good boards--I'm riding a 6-0 Pod on the coast of Texas.

I have three kids and the story of what your family is going through touches me deeply. I can pray with faith, but as to experience I can only imagine the roller coaster of emotions you and your wife must be feeling. I believe I can pray with more tha "intellectual faith", but i can pray with the heart of father, for a father, a mother, a daughter fighting for life and for destiny. Britt, I don't know you and may never meet you, but I feel a strong sense of God's love for you. It would be an honor to meet you. You, your wife, your daughter and your family are uncommon heroes found in common day living. God Bless you!

I too have a daughter named Malia (age 9) with relaped Wilms'. I will be in fervant prayer for Daisy, and for your entire family as you fight. I pray for healing... for joy and peace in the midst of maddness... for heavenly guidence and wisdom... and for the gift of rest. We are searching for possible treatments where others have failed. If you can give me any information about your lead for the treatment in Israel we would be truly greatful. The sooner the better for us. God bless you and hold you all very close.

If anyone's wondering how to download this song do the following:

1) Click "Download" - this will lead you to another page with just the track.
2) Right Click on the page and select "Save As"- this should automatically download an MP3 track and there you have it!

Despite all things that happen, it all brings God glory. Praise to Him who gives and takes. Praying for you Merrick family.

Right after I read your last tweet & posted on your blog, I got fb message from nephew in LA about solar flare probably Wed. a.m. It seems this bit of solar plasma left Sunday morning & may cause satellite & electrical disruptions & maybe some northern lights in no. U.S. and maybe a little bit of radiation. Seems silly to post but I believe that God heard prayers and could have sent a little special piece of light to heal children with cancer. Not scientific at all but then neither is grace. Still praying. I felt led to send these posts and have no idea whether I ever will again. I will keep reading and praying. As my sister who has had multiple unforeseen personal & family sorrows this last year said today after reading about Daisy, "I read them all today. I feel so blessed." I don't mean that to cast a more negative cast on Daisy's situation, but to say the sermons, the blogs, the FB entries, the tweets are a ministry that if ended today would have already ministered to so, so many.

Put these on public twitter but adding it here too: I've been thru husband w/neutropenia, must feel like leaving her on altar - Nobody warns caregivers that when you are most tired & have been in all those medical germ environments, then you are mostly to get sick when loved one has lowest white count. He's ok now but I became "phobic" about precautions in medical places. Your last message was so meaningful. I've put Daisy's link & your sermon link on FB. It is one thing to trust & walk with God but must be so hard to give her future to God. I am praying for you. I am a retired elementary school counselor in Statesboro, GA
