Hello world! This is just a notice that this is now my old blog! Sorry I have not been updating this blog but I was working on my new blog to be up and running on google. Dragons Den

Everyday on a Monday or Tuesday night I like to watch a very interesting show Dragons' Den. This show is about people bringing in their inventions to 6 dragons to see if they want to be part of their company for money. This show is very interesting because you would not believe what these people come up with! Some of it is brilliant and some is just bad ideas but very funny how the Dragons' cut their ideas up. Out of all the episodes I have seen the most outrageous idea is this guy brought in a bunch of junk and wanted to know if the dragons wanted to buy into his company. This guy had toys old antiques and his idea was to sell it in bundles of random things! When I saw this I bursted out laughing! But there was very brilliant but quite simple ideas and when I watch it I say to myself "Why didn't I think of that!" Overall, this show is a must see and here is a clip of the new season 3.

Personally, I really like this show and I would give it an 8.5 out of 10 as it is very cool to see what people can come up with! This show never gets repetitive!

Day of the Dead

This movie is very entertaining and high violence. If you guys love blood gore and violence then this is definetly thr movie for you. The movie is about everybody gets sick so they all go to the hospital to get help. But then something terrible happens! From here on in it is flat out survival and zombies from here! I really liked this movie because it had a good concept like how everyboddy got sick and then they turned into zombies! I also like how it was a bit corny because when a character got bit he evntually turns into a zombie but he still takes orders from the survivors! I thought it was a real neat idea how they had a zombie that never wanted to eat everything in its path in fact it helped the humans against the zombies! The ending of this movie is very intense and you would never guess what happens or how they will solve thiszombie outbreak. Just let me tell you it will be a big SURPRISE at the end of this movie. Overall, I think this movie is a must see and I think you should rent it whenever you have a chance.

Personally, I would rate this movie 9 out of 10 because it had very good special effects!

The Love Guru

This movie was a very funny movie. I really love the Guru in this movie his accent is just so funny! But I must give the most credit to the writers of this movie. They must have the best cense of humour ever! This movie is about the Toronto Maple Leafs are having a bad luck in the Stanley Cup because of some curse and the Guru has to come fix there bad luck! My favourite parts were when the Guru could not say some words right and they came out as rude words. Some of these jokes are hilarious but they can not be repeated as I want you to hear them yourself!I would definitely recommend this movie to older audiences like 25 and up because there is a lot of jokes thsa younger audiences would not catch on to. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie even though I did not get all of the jokes. Also if you rent this movie you should watch the special feature helluva elephant because it is quite interesting how they make the elephant. Also it tells you how they make the ostrich! I highly recommend this movie to people because there are a lot more funny jokes that you just have to see and hear!

Personally, I would give this movie a 7.5 out of 10 because I thought this movie was very inventive with their jokes and it has a good story line to it.

88 Minutes

88 minutes was a very mysterious and unique movie. I really liked how it was mysterious because every 5 minutes you think it is a different killer. But at the end you would not believe who the killer really is! It is about college professor who moonlights as a forensic phychiatrist for the FBI receives a death threat telling him he has 88 minutes to live. So in 88 minutes he frantically tries to find out who his killer is. Will he find out in time? When he received the first phone call threat this was very scary for me because it was a very deep voice that said "88 minutes TIC,TOC,TOC"! If that ever happened to me I would like hide in a corner somewhere because that is so creepy! He even switched his phone with a friend and the killer new his knew phone number! There were a bunch of disturbing scenes that made me a little queasy at parts. But the ending is very clever as you would never expect who the killer is!

Personally,I would give this movie a 8.5 out of 10 because it had a very good twist at the end! Do not forget to comment on what you would rate this movie!

Tropic Thunder

On Friday night I went to AMC 24 and saw Tropic Thunder! It was the best movie I have seen in a long time! It was about when they were supposed to be making a more realistic film as they were going to get shutdown by the movie business they go a little to far in the jungle where they find some hardcore heroin drug barons! Starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Brandon T. Jackson, and Robert Downey Junior. There were some parts that just stood out to me and I want to share some with you. When the drug barons RPG the truck with them in it shows a slow motion seen almost like the end of Call of Duty 4 but anyway so everybody is hurt and they pull the wounded driver out and you see Jack Black which is the comedian in this movie and he is saying my ass, my ass, help my ass hurts. That was just hilarious for me and everybody else I the theatre as they were all laughing to. Also when the mystery character { you find out who he really is at the end} gets threatened that they will kill Ben Stiller if he and his company do not give them $100 million. He swears and swears like every two words at them. He hangs up angrily and says "I do not negotiate with terrorists! That was another one of my favourite parts! I have a lot more but if I tell you all of them you will not want to see the movie!

Personally, I would give this a 9.5 out of 10 because it was my favourite movie I have seen this year! This is a must see movie! So reach down deep in your pocket and watch this movie. This will be your favourite movie of the year! You will not regret seeing this one!

The first episode of House was on last night at 8:00pm! This show is very interesting to me as they had to remove a finite from a woman so they had to cut her stomach open. Then when they were going over the scan of her body they found some kind of disease so they had to cut her open again! It made me a little sick to my stomach as it looked so real when they were doing surgery. Especially, the blood. House will be on every Tuesday at 8:00 pm. Do not miss it as it is a blast!

Personally, I really like House and I have only seen one episode this season. It just looks so awesome this year. House is absolutely hilarious! His lines are genius!

This movie was a little bit slow for my liking! This movie is about a family man that gets convicted of killing an intruder and he must cope with life in the HARSH penal system! This movie just was not that great because usually in movies they make it build up for the ending but in this movie the ending was like 20 seconds! There was this one part when the evil secuirity guards kid got hit by a car and it showed him go in the hospital for surgery. Then I was expecting to see him better and healthy at the end but no they did not even show him again! There was like nothing to it! But a lot of people like it as it is the 6th top movie rental at blockbuster. This movie is a very slow but rough and interesting at some times. But i like movies that are fast paced and this movie was not. But I have talked to A LOT of people and they say they like the movie. So this is just my opinion that it is not worth watching at the movie theatre but you may want to rent it!

Personally, I would give this movie a 6.5 out of 10 as it was a to slow of a movie for me to be fully interested.

Bank Job

This is a very interesting movie. A 1971 Baker Street bank robbery and it has been prevented from being told because of a government gagging order. The real fascinating story about how the biggest robberies in British history with no arrests ever made and no money ever recovered. The best part is this movie was based on a true story! This bank is very highly guarded so how will they get in? This movie is starring Jason Stratham. I have liked every movie I have seen that Jason Stratham has been in. Especially the transporter! So if you are not convinced that this will be a good movie, just remember that Jason Stratham is in it and you will really like the movie as he is one of the best a actors out there! The ending of this movie gets very tense and a bit sad! So you should really watch this movie as it is very creative{especially how they rob the bannk} and surprising in some parts! I would rate this movie a 8 out of 10 as the ending was very suspenseful!

Personally, I really reccomend you watch this movie as you will get a bang for your buck. Do not forget to comment on if you liked this movie!

Chad Johnson

Hey football fans! I have a very unique, funny,and surprising announcement to make about Chad Johnson! He has legally switched his name to OCHO CINCO! I think that is hilarious! Some people just do not like Chad Johnson as they say he fakes hurt a lot and that he shows off to much in the end zone when he scores a touchdown. People who really do not like him call him Ocho Stinko! I find this comment rather rude but a bit funny at the same time. I like Chad Jonhnson but is not my favourite reciever and he may be a bit of a show off for my liking! Also I think Chad got ripped off for the last couple of years as he is on a terible team Cincinnati Bengals which are 0-2 this year!

Personally, I used to like the Cincinatti Bengals but they are getting worse everyear!

I love watching football every Sunday! My favourrite player to watch is Brandon Marshall! He got 18 catches and 166 yards! 18 catches is an all time high for catches for a receiver for Denver! This guy is amazing. Nobody can stop him as he is so fast and he has so many moves! He is my all time favourite rciever by FAR! I think it would be a good idea to watch this guy I think he could be the next MVP! When you watch him you will not be disappointed!

Forbidden Kingdom

Forbidden Knigdom was either a very good movie for some people or very bad movie for some people. It really depends on what kind of movie you like because in this movie there is no in between. I really liked this movie as you escaped realaity and went into the past. This is what the movie is about! When a Kung Fu-obsessed teen makes a discovery in a Chinese pawn shop, it sends him on a wild trip to Ancient China, where he must join up with a band of warriors to save the monkey king. Starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

This movie is very adventurous and high paced action. One of the highlights of this movie is when they were on there journey and they went through a long hot desert and Jackie Chan tried to use magic to pray for rain. SO then it starts to show droplets on his paper and he looks up and Jet Li is peeing on him! It is hilarious! There are many other highlights but I do not want to ruin the movie for you! I suggest you rent or watch this movie As Soon As Possible. For you who like kung Fu and Fantasy mixed together you will love this movie. You will not regret it!

Personally, I would give this movie an 8.5 out of 10 because it is my kind of movie, they were creative, {I hate watching a movie that you can predict the ending!}and you feel like you are in Ancient China with them!

Would you rather be crammed with a ton more work and finish a year earlier or have not that much work and kinda float your way through school but stay another year?? I would rather be crammed with work because right now I think school is very easy. Not to much homework either! Also the sooner you get out of school and graduate the sooner you can go get your dream job! Trust me in the grand scheme of life you would rather get out of school earlier with a little more work than stay that extra year. Look at it this way the sooner you get out of school the quicker you can do whatever you want in life!

Personally, I think I would like to get a little more homework than staying a extra looooonng year!

My good friend... the Standard Poodle

I really love the standard poodle. I have one and he is awesome. My dog is a beast! He weighs like 75 pounds!They are very active and intelligent. What I do not like to see is when people have there standard poodles shaved with a goofy poodle haircut. It looks very bad and ugly. So i just brush my dog and make it look like a big fluff ball! I find that the best look for a standard poodle because you can do it yourself and it is free! The only bad thing about the standard poodle is they have a very loud bark so when somebody rings the doorbell I almost jump out of my chair as I am so scared! I also really like how all standard poodles are very kind and gentle when you try to play with them!

Personally, I love the standard poodle more than any dog as they are just so much fun!

21 Movie

I thought 21 was a very well made movie. I think a lot of people would agree because you could relate it to real life. Not that me or you would ever count cards but just how it was in a casino! I thought how it was really cool how they had signals and everything! Ben Campell has to get money to get to M.I.T which is a college/university. He does not have the money and it is a shame because he is a very smart person. So his teacher talks to him and his teacher wants him to count cards with the rest of the team! So all Ben wants to do is get enough money and get out of there! But he gets a bit greedy. The Sin City secuirity chief then catches on to what they are doing? Will he catch them?The ending had an awesome twist! You would not believe what happens!

Personally, I would give this movie an 9 out of 10 as I thought it was very creative and they always seemed to make it interesting no matter what scene they were at!

Who came first the chicken or the egg?

There have been a lot of comments about this. I have heard and seen a lot of rumours. The most interesting one that I read one day is that the egg came first as I dinosaur egg was layed. The dinosaur egg was pretty messed up then and it was a chicken! So I personally believe that this is true unless 1 of you readers can persuade me! So I really incourage you to try to persuade me to another reason or just comment on what you think came first! Just remember Chicken or Egg!

Prom Night

Prom Night was a very suspenseful and scary movie! It is about Donna {Brittany Snow} and her friends go to their prom. They are very excited as it is supposed to be a very fun and memorable time. However, a killer from the past is in the hotel stalking her. He expects to have a great time to but will it be the same fun that Donna and her friends want to have? I really enjoyed this movie as there was a lot of action and a lot of pop outs. Some parts were pretty violent but that is what makes it a horror film! I suggest that you watch this movie as you will be on the edge of your seats the whole movie!

Personally I would rate this movie a 8.5 out of 10 as when you think it is over it is not. You will see what I mean when you watch the movie!

Back to School

Many tired kids these last couple days as summer break is over. Also a lot of "I hate homework and they should give us more time off of June for summer". That is including me. So people that are reading this I ask you to look at school like it is another year closer to getting out of school. Maybe for a job highschool, middle school whatever! The point is each year that passes you are closer to being done school for your life. I have been to school for a lot of years and everyear I am very negative that summer break is over and that I have to go back to school and do Homework! But this year I looked at it in a positive way as I am one year closer to getting out! So far it has been working because the two days I have been at school it seems like 2 hours! The good thing about this is if you are looking at school in a negative way now, you can look at it in a positive way right now! Look at it in this way not only will the school year fly by but we also get Christmas Break, and March Break. I do not know about you but I always take advantage of those breaks and have a blast! Christmas Break is like 2 weeks. Oh Ya!

So just try looking at school in a positive way as it will go a lot faster that way!

Hurricane Gustav has hit Cuba and Jamaica. Gustav is now heading for Louisiana and is supposed to hit the shores on Monday morning around 8:00am. Some evacuations have already been made. When the storm hit Cuba and Jamaica it was a category 1-2 storm. The weather meteorologists predict by the time it hits New Orleans it will be a category 3 hurricane! The weather meteorologists also think there will be 185-200 millimetres of rain hitting New Orleans Louisiana and the winds speed will be around 105 kilometres an hour!. Lets hope that New Orleans, Jamaica, and Cuba will all be okay from the hurricane!

American T.V shows

I really enjoy watching American T.V shows. Canada has the odd good show on but the ones you remember the most are the American shows. For Example American Idol America's Best Dance Crew America's toughest jobs, So you think you can dance and lastly Americas got talent. These are just a few of many that I named off the top of my head. America's Got Talent is on tonight at 8:00pm. This is a very cool show as everyone has different talents and you get to see them. Some are singers, dancers, Ventriloquists, drummers and many more! Not to mention there is another very popular sport happening in the United States in less than a week! FOOTBALL SEASON! This is just an awesome sport to watch! This is very big to watch in Canada but way more popular in the United States! You should see how many sites they have about football. To me I find Canadian T.V shows a copy of America's. For Example American Idol /Canadian Idol. Its almost funny to see that Canada can not think of their own shows! America's best dance crew is a very good show as the jabawokeez were the best dancers i have ever seen dance before. So you think you can dance there was an amazing popper and I wish he went on America's got talent as the judges on so you think you can dance said he wasn't good enough in choreography. Maple Leaf Meats Disease Outbreak

Listeriosis is in some of the meat of the Maple Leaf Company. Listeriosis is a deadly disease that make people very ill. To be safe I threw out all of my Maple Leaf meat as I did not want to take any chances. If I were you I would do the same as this is a serious matter that must be stopped. It harms the elderly and the unborn the most. Usually men at 76 and women at 80. Listeriousis is often found in soil, vegetation, animal feed and feces, and recently inside the processed meats of the Maple Leaf Plant in Toronto. Eiwwww animal feed and feces? That's in our meat?

Personally, it will be a long time before I buy Maple Leaf Products again.
