In februari 2010 schreef  ik over <a href="http://www.marketingfacts.nl/berichten/20100219_crowdfunding_in_de_boekenbranche_tenpages.com/" title="de lancering van TenPages.com">de lancering van TenPages.com</a>. Een Nederlands crowdfunding initiatief: lezers financieren een boekpublicatie vooraf door aandelen te kopen á € 5. Zodra er op deze manier € 10.000 is opgehaald, wordt het boek uitgegeven. Als dit bedrag niet wordt gehaald, dan wordt € 4 per aandeel geretourneerd. Sinds die publicatie is het hard gegaan met <a href="http://www.tenpages.com" title="TenPages.com">TenPages.com</a>. De teller staat inmiddels op eenenvijftig manuscripten die het benodigde aantal aandelen verkocht hebben.</p>
