Is anyone here a fan of San Diego Padres? Or a fan of Tony Gwynn? I bet you know this guy and his team. Brooding Bachelor continues its watch snapshot series! Now, we are featuring another one of a kind watch. What makes this watch one of a kind? It is simply because of its owner. This puts more value to the watch and making it more desirable to the eyes of collectors and buyers. This one rare watch is – a Rolex Day-Date (a.k.a President). It was given to Tony Gwynn in the 1996 by the San Diego Padres organization.

The Rolex watch is in good condition. You can’t find any other watch like this because of the enormous Padres logo on the dial of this Rolex President. It is with an engraved name of the famous Mr. Tony Gwynn at the case’s back which looks “Tony Gwynn 1996”.

The year 1996 was a very meaningful year for the famous Gwynn. It was in 1996 when he won his seventh (of eight in total) National League Batting titles. He had a great historic career. He won 5 Gold Gloves, and he was selected 15 times to play in the All-Star Team.

This Rolex President is already for sale in Carmel California for only $20,000. I don’t think if this would last a week. Maybe it will last for just days? A Rolex with a former owner who is Tony Gwynn? This would be a hot item in the market!

I think you got the clue now. Brooding Bachelor is featuring again a watch owned by a famous man. It is Michael Crichton’s Rolex Pre-Explorer watch. No one would ever ask of why he is a fan of Rolex watches. It really fits watches of that kind to the person he is. Have you remember about the watch of Eric Clapton? He has also a Rolex watch. Rolex watches fits man with wit and poise. This would advertise Rolex watches all over the world, knowing that famous men wear this kind of watches.

So, what’s the big deal with Crichton's Rolex Pre-Explorer that closely pictures a legendary Rolex Explorer? But the truth is, this watch is not an Explorer thing. Men today have taken a more liberated stance towards skin care. Before, men used to shun skin care products thinking that it's only for women, and using them would make them a wussy. I think the change came upon us when we realized that we too are made of the same material that makes up women - CELLS. Our body needs the same kind of nourishment that women get from the product they used. The only problem is, it is really wussy to use products which are packaged in a daintily pink bottle with floral designs. Well, the good thing about it is that we have more options now. Companies have realized the surge of demand for skin care products for men.

I think the most common trend regarding men's skin care is the use of Moisturizer with SPF, Shaving cream with moisturizing properties, Lip Balm with SPF, etc. Men are now aware that looking young is a bonus and you can only do that if you avoid sun damaged and you stay moisturized. Let me ask you a question: How many times have you tried using your mother's wrinkle cream? I know you wouldn't disclose that openly but I'm sure you might have done so in the past. You really have to pay attention to your skin health as it is also important not just for vanity's sake.
