Get zapped and experience the life of a bug!  This larger-than-life exhibit features oversized plants, caves, grass and bugs and teaches children about insects and how they are affected by their environment. Created by Saugeen Conservation Authority

Titanic: Unsinkable Passion – 100 Years of Memories

Join us as we recall stories and memories from the “unsinkable ship” through this exclusive exhibit about the RMS Titanic. It’s been 100 years since the passenger liner struck an iceberg on her maiden voyage sank, resulting in the deaths of more than 1500 people.  View such artifacts as a deck chair from the Titanic – a deck chair from the rescue ship Carpathia, a Heart of the Ocean necklace from James Cameron’s “Titanic” and more!

This March Break we will have exciting activities for you to participate in during your visit.  Come explore the exhibits and take advantage of all the extras we have to offer!  General Admission Applies.  Parental Supervision required.

Fun workshops for kids – adults welcomed too!

Making Wood Work and Pulp Fiction

Making Wood Work

Feb. 18 – March 10

Saturday afternoons 1pm – 3pm (Ages 7+)

Using real wood working tools, this 4-week workshop will have you creating four different items to take home: lap desktop, tray, stool and a choice of truck or mirror peg board.

Members $10  Public $15 per session

Here are some of your projects:

Pulp Fiction

March 24 – April 21

(Please note that there will not be a workshop on the Saturday of Easter weekend April 7 – we skip a week)

Saturday afternoons 2pm – 4pm (Ages 8+)

Paper making and sharing stories – get your hands slimy during this four-week program, making your own paper and writing a short story, or making gift cards for friends and family.

Members $5  Public $10 per session
