So, did you sign up yet? Alright sign in then? Go to this website http://www. clickbank.com and on the top right hand side there is a small link saying log in.  You will be transfered to a page where it is asking for your username & password along with several key high selling e-books & featured vendors which you can worry about later.

Is this your first day with Clickbank?  If it is, it is best that you understand where everything goes & places to go to in order to get some affiliate links.

Now with some basic stuffs that you need to know to work Clickbank.   Now that you know this much, you will have to find a product to promote.  Your clickbank username is your nickname in this world.  Now you are ready to find a product to promote.  Unless you have a product in mind that you wanted to promote already, the best place to start your adventure with Clickbank is at the Marketplace.  Here you will find so many products that you’re interested in promoting by searching on particular keywords or browsing by categories and sub-categories.    Once you hit go, you will be presented with a list of products matching your search criteria.

The list is very long, it is up to you to find one that you are interested in promoting and promote them.  Upon the search you have a choice of clicking on the description title to find out if it is a viable link to promote.  My advice is here is to purchase the item requested so that you can make an honest review of the link.  A lot of these pages says that they are earning a lot of money but these are just words & without action will never find out if this is true.  Plus if you are promoting something & the item you are promoting is not good then people will have difficulty trusting you.  So please make the purchase before promoting the product.

Ok, did you pick one already?  Wait before you create a HOPLINK please view the Vendor’s Spotlight.   This is the 3rd link underneath the description saying “Vendor Spotlight” Click on it and investigate on how popular this link is on clickbank.  At least you will have basic information vital to your success.  For example, something that may be important to you is the commission you will get from this vendor.  Some vendor are offering you 50% of the product value & up to 75% of the product value will go to you in your pocket.   Information like the total amount value is really important as some weary customers are just not interested in loosing a large amount of cash and the value of the product is rubbish.  A safe product price would range from $30 – 75.  Anymore, people will start having doubts of buying the product.

Again, it is your choice, in a later article I am developing I am going to teach you how to blend your affiliate link with Google Adwords to maximize your sales online.

Once you have selected a product, click on CREATE HOPLINK below the selected product listing.  This will open a new window, where you’ll enter your ClickBank nickname, along with an optional Tracking ID, and click Create.  This will create a Hoplink that’s specifically tied to your nickname and the particular product you choose.  It is automatically encrypted for your protection.

You’ll see two versions of the same HopLink. The top version, in black text, is in plain text. You’d use this option if you want to share your HopLink via email, Twitter, Facebook, or any other method where you don’t need to create HTML code yourself. The second version, in blue, is formatted in HTML code in case you want to insert the link directly into your own website or another source that requires HTML formatting. Guys & Gals, it is recommended that you copy & paste your new HopLink into a text document or save it in some other way on your computer, as ClickBank does not store HopLinks for you.  If you do’t save it yourself, you’ll need to return to the marketplace each time you want to generate the HOPLINK, which can rather be time consuming.

Well, once you have your HopLink, you have to start promoting it.  The question is where should you actually start promoting your HopLink?  Trying to decide this can surely be  where you spend most of your time & effort & it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but you’ll get the idea soon enough.  Here at this site, I’ll offer you some strategies as to where you can start.

To as far back as I can remember, the Internet is an interesting piece of technology for me.  Computer has always been my interest & when I was going to school one day I saw an Internet Cafe.  It’s funny that in the Philippines, an Internet CAFE doesn’t involve coffee

It was the first time I have seen this so as I checked it out. I started off with mIRC (the IRC means Instant Relay Chat) which was amazing and got me hooked for hours while I chat with people I have never even met before.  Then, introduced to a very common medium of communication, the e-mail.  Since then, I have been sending e-mails back and forth to friends and families.   Back then, hooking up to the Internet was extremely expensive, especially when you started this adventure in the Philippines.  1 peso per minute it was back then.  In Abu Dhabi, it was almost 1fil per minute & all these would add up.

Right now, I am so glad that you just have to pay a monthly bill and you get unlimited access to the Internet.   Unfortunately in the United Arab Emirates the telecommunication company would block almost anything on the web.  They might as well just block everything at the rate this UAE firewall is hitting everyone.

The Philippines was where it all began for me.  But for me I had no idea that you would be able to start earning money on the web back then.  I honestly wish I have discovered it a lot sooner than this. Back then it was the year 1995,  I only started sharing my findings to the world 2009.

At the age of about 19 I think I was exposed to my first MLM business which honestly I failed miserably simply because I was too young & immature to handle a business even though back then I have always dreamed of owning my own Internet Cafe (that was the age of 15), right now at the age of 29, I still feel I haven’t gotten anywhere.

Where I know I failed is MLM, I never had the knack for these programs.  Selling products is just not my thing, as I have failed in numerous ones starting from Forever Living America to Primerica. The only reason why I joined FHTM is because it seems practical to my daily needs especially with the website http://www.bryanagoncillo.com. FHTM is something I would do provided that I have the time.

With over 1/4 of my life done, now should be the time to get serious and deal with what is up ahead.  I know that working an 8 hour job will get me some money to get through my daily needs.  But there should be more to life than just settling for middle class my entire life.

Failures? Well, I could say that MLM’s where my failures in life.  I have wasted so much money on joining such programs but failed on every single one of them.  At this age, I am no longer eager to fail but succeed.  With continuous researching, I’m sure FHTM will work for me. As I push forward with this, I’ll come to sharing to you how I succeed with this program.

Failures? Well, I created several websites and none of them are finished all except my final product bryanagoncillo.com.  One of my website that I was most proud of was my website kitakits.com.  But you know that too failed & it has been awaiting a relaunch for well over 5 years.

Where I succeeded is realizing what is important in a website & the components I will use on future websites to be.  I learned the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).  With me knowledge is important and therefore  I am sharing that knowledge to you.

Failures? Well, I tried almost everything, with regards to earning money (all except selling my body… No no no….).  I failed in almost every venture that I tried. There was one time I tried servicing people for money with regards to fixing their computers.  In one year I came out with only 4 clients, how depressing.

Success? Well with all the failures I have dedication.  I am dedicated to sharing my experience to you here on this website.  I would like to apologize for any wrong spelling or grammar but I hope that the information that I am sharing with you will help in anyway possible.

I started with Clickbank nearly 3 years ago but never fully understood its full potential until now.  With enough time wasted, I decided to start on a researching about this APN.

Let’s start off with, what’s Clickbank?

Clickbank is an affiliate program network which generally means that they are the middle man between an affiliate & the real product vendors.

Clickbank is an APN wich deals mostly with informational products such as ebooks and software .

Short acronyms you have to watch for & sometimes we use would be APN or CB.  APN is short for Affliate Program Network & CB would be, yup you guessed it Clickbank.  Like other programs you have to learn to embrace this technology so that you can be successful with it.  Don’t stay with Clickbank for just a few days or weeks, you have to accept that you will have to be with Clickbank on the long run so that the returns will be amazing.  If you feel that you’d like to try it for a bit, my advice is for you to not be a part of this program at all.

People know what passive income means, they know the possibility of it but many of you think that this is a myth, that earning passive income isn’t possible.  But there is a way for you to earn this income but you first have to start by learning by changing your way of thinking.   You first have to start thinking that getting a passive income is possible & never give up on achieving this status.

The meaning of a passive income is earning money on a regular basis that requires little effort on your end giving you the time to do stuff that you are interesting in doing.

For example; if you own an apartment.  Rent it out to tenants so that you can collect rent from these people. As this process requires little effort this is what is known as passive income.

“PENSION” is also another form of passive income but you will have to wait till you become of age before the government can grant you this income.  By then you will be too old to enjoy life’s treasures.

There are so many ways to get a passive income, you just have to know how to get it and be persistent in doing so.

For me, I find it challenging to achieve this status as I am still in the early stage of developing my first form of income stream on the web.  There are so many types of income stream and I still have only discovered one solid enough for you to live from, provided that you have a regular traffic stream coming through your website.

Growing up my parents told me to go to school & get high grades so I can be accepted in a company that will give me good monthly income & hopefully without being retrenched first or fired that I would get a good pension from the government when I passed the age of 60.  But my uncle thought me differently & this value I have learned to accept and attempt to grow from.  Living my life mostly on my own starting from the time I graduated in High School.  I learned that growing up in the Philippines is very tough, the place where I found my wonderfully beautiful and supportive wife, Christine Lim Agoncillo.  Inspired by her, I have longed dreamed that passive income is possible for a simple person like me.

Ok, I am going to tell you now that achieving this status requires a strong initial effort on your part to get the income started, then do minimal work (or in some cases virtually no work at all) afterwards which results in earning more simply doing less.  The art of doing less for more seems like a dream to many people, but there are so much secrecy in doing this that so many has failed simply because they didn’t know how.

That’s what inspired me to create this blog so that I can shed some light to many who are searching.  Please remember that going down this road can make you succeed or to many, there is a high chance of failure.

The advantage of having a passive income is that you can choose to work when and wherever you want to work.  You don’t have to rely on a regular 9-5 hour schedule.

One great advantage of having a passive income is that you can choose to have one income stream or create multiple income streams, and what more create an unlimited amount of income you are only limited by your imagination.

If you are successful you now have a lot of free time on your hands which is the goal that you will automatically achieve after this.   Time that you can spend with your family, friends or again go on a vacation that you have always dreamed off.

Once you have succeeded in getting a residual income, you now have the ability to give to a charitable cause, plus income towards your future retirement.

Interesting that someone would create an ad network for this micro-blogging platform.  It you are to view it from their side of the coin, it is an interesting way to drive such traffic to you via the internet.

I noticed that one thing we haven’t touched base on yet was how to improve your ranking through Google.com.  Where there are so many websites out there showing you how to earn Google ranking out there, I have summed it up to just a few starters to get you going.  Google.com for me I considered the most widely used search engine in the whole world.  So it is really important for you to be seen there especially on the first page of Google’s search. Here are a few tips as to what you can do to improve your page ranking.

1. You will need to upload some new contents everyday to your website, this way it will feed your readers the constant need for information.   This will also tell your customers that there you are still there and you are not simply doing this for gain but helping them out for real.  Remember if the site in interest has some information that visitors would need there is a 100% chance for him to come back to your site over and over again.
2. It is important for you to provide inside linking on your site.   For example you can show a link of your previous and next articles on an articles page.  Or you can provide them a list of related articles so the visitors can remain a long time on  your site.   Yes, it is important they stay there for a while, if the customer leaves your site and has stayed there only for a short period of time then it becomes a point against you.
3. Your website also have to have a SITEMAP.  A sitemap is a page or either a list of pages which lists all or most of the important pages on your website.
4. This one would be challenging, but if you can do it please do.  You will have to trade your URL links with other website owners.  Google likes it when you have a website linking back to your own website.
5. Keyword Density is one of the simplest ways to improve your website’s placement in a search engine result.  Keyword density is the ratio of the word that is being searched for against the total number of words appearing on your website.  If your keyword occurs only one in a page of thousand words, it has a lower keyword density than a keyword that occurs four times in a page of similar length.  The higher the density of your web page, the likelihood of your page obtaining a better search engine ranking would happen. Note that not all search engines bother with keyword density and indeed even those that do have their own algorithm for computing the density of keywords.
6. Make sure you have some web 2.0 functions on your websites so that you and other people who visits your website can link to these articles faster than a copy paste.  If you noticed each article I have allows you to link the articles to Facebook.com & other sites like StumbleUpon, Digg and Twitter.  You are basically doing everybody a favor if you help them just a little further to help them share your articles or your websites to their friends & families.
7. Submitting your blog or website to search engines or directories.  Though this may help only a little bit, I’d say at the moment every little bit counts.
8. My personal goal is doing an article per day, how about yours? Create a goal for yourself to that this may be achieved on your website.
9. Don’t create rubbish articles this will just turn off your viewers and may never come back to your website again.
10. Create offline contents like business cards and t-shirts which will get you a few traffic now and then.

There are several ways for you to get your page up in ranking these are just a few that I have been using that works for me.

The one thing you may notice about Clickbank is that they mostly sell a lot of e-books.  You can also consider Clickbank an area where you can sell your E-products or basically work as an affiliate trying to sell anyone a particular link to a product of interest.   Since the product is electronic based merchandise you will immediately get the product you have purchased after purchasing a product through them.

I guess the only problem, I have with this Clickbank is they have so much vendors that sells E-Crap & slaps a $49.99 sale price on it and expect people like you to buy them.  I’ll be looking into more of these products very soon and letting you know on what type of links are good to use as an affiliate or what is bad.

A couple of good pointers with the website is that Clickbank is a pretty easy website to navigate, however for those who doesn’t like reading instructions, it may be advisable to click on that help section once in a while.  A few may say it is as easy as 1-2-3, and just a while ago, I tried creating a link with a particular vendor & I managed to navigate through the site no problem.

Commissions with ClickBank are amazing, some vendor’s payout up to 70% of the value of the product, which makes it a good place for you to monetize your website, surely no problem for people who has already a strong foundation in affiliate programs.  Another project that we will soon jump into is a way to market these links in tandem to Google’s AdWord.

It took me a while to think about a topic to talk about today, eventually I landed on returning to Google Adsense as a topic.  It is very important that everyone understands what Adsense does & how it can help you earn money on your website.

So let us begin with explaining what Adsense is.  Google Adsense is a program that lets you give space on your website for advertising space for other people’s advertisement on your own website.  It isn’t any specific ads, they are ones chosen by Google.   Not to worry they will be relevant to your site’s content pages.  The good thing about this is that this service is free & can potentially earn you money whenever someone takes interest in viewing an ad that shows on your page.

So before you can consider applying for an Adsense account with google.com you will first have to have a site, that is complete & not under construction.  Your website should contain a theme of a particular subject that you are willing to expand on, teach people & mentor your students into being successful with that certain topic of interest.  Once you have a site of interest then you can apply for a Google Adsense account which will give you access to creating your advertisement on your site.   One thing you have to remember though is that you have to remain focus on a particular theme of interest, a site that is content rich & information useful to the internet community.  Once a person has discovered your site and it is something they are interested in, they will book mark your home page so they can continue to reading updates on your site whenever you update you website.

However this isn’t the end of the road as a lot of people are under the impression that this is easy when it really isn’t. Once your site & your Adsense ads are in place you will still have go through the challenge of throwing targeted traffic onto your website. Generating traffic for your site is one of the biggest challenges that I am facing so far.

I may sound like a broken record to you but you have to remember that your site initially has to have some interesting topics so that it won’t just be your grandmother or parents viewing the site for you but everyone else in the world.

Let’s say for example your interest is in Photography and you want to create topics / articles on photography you first of all won’t need to worry about with too much research as you really won’t mind writing more content for your site simply because it is something that you are interested in.

Now someone who goes to your site sees that you have an article on a Nikon D90 DSLR Camera for instance sees your articles and considers it a very informative article & right next to it he / she sees an advertisement by Adsense relevant to your article about affordable DSLR cameras, your viewers may be enticed into clicking it because they too are interested in purchasing a camera similar to your review.  Adsense will then pay you anywhere from 10 cents to 3 dollars depending on who is paying for the ad to be displayed.   You are getting a commission by helping Google use your advertising space for their advertisers to take advantage of.

One person who sees relevance to the article and ad would eventually click at it, imagine that X 1000 people viewing your site the money that you would be earning through this program will be phenomenal.

You think it is too easy to be true? Well you’re right… What’s missing is that you really have to work hard on this.  You can really earn a lot of money here but you have to not give up.

With Adsense as your partner you could be on your way to early retirement, but please don’t take my word for it.  No job is easy certainly with a program such as this an Adsense / Website tandem will give such a rich return only if you start working on it now & not give up.

I’m telling you now, there is no proper SEO formula out there and you will surely not be able to find it out on the web by searching through other search engines.  I have tried & with experience all proper SEO experts states that it’s impossible to get a quick fix for and SEO related issues.

Please remember when you are building your traffic, it takes time to get a good number of people on your site. Another bad example of introducing traffic to our site is traffic exchange programs, first of all it doesn’t work & you are honestly just wasting your time clicking for credits when you know people aren’t going to view your site for more than 20 seconds.

Do it the right way, perhaps 10 years ago phrases like Meta tags and and keywords were very important to search engines, nowadays they are just a very small piece of the puzzle.  So please don’t focus to hard on these things, though it is still very important to have, you shouldn’t stress yourself out to hard on them.

SEO is primarily about popularity, so creating link exchanges to other websites aren’t important to search engines now & they most of the search engine’s other there have developed an algorithm on their site ignore’s these types of link exchanges.  However what is important on a search engine now is what it called a ONE WAY LINK. Which basically is telling a search engine that a person from other site or area of the world have noticed your site, liked it & is now sharing this information to his / her friends on the web.  This is the kind of link that search engines would consider a valuable link and will therefore increase your ranking.  Search engines will see that this site is important since there are no link exchanges happening between these sites but people are sharing your site simply because they know that the contents that you are sharing are very important to them.

Again, remember that it’s important to understand that there isn’t an exact formula for a higher ranking page on your website.  You have to focus on writing what’s best for your readers.  Don’t worry about all the technicalities that comes with your blog, that will come in second and surely people will come to viewing  your site slowly but surely.

Another thing that you have to focus on is illicit practice on placing “doorway” pages loaded with keywords on the client’s site somewhere.   Creating this will make the search engine a little upset and will drain your link popularity and may route your site to unfavorable contents.

Doorway pages are consider a scam & before Google introduced the Page Rank algorigthm, doorways were a common practice and there where even times when they were not thought of us illegal optimization.

The intention of a doorway page is a made especially for search engines and that has no meaning for humans but used to get a high position in search engines and basically tricking users to come to the site.

Although keywords are still very important, today keywords alone have less effect in determining the position of a site in search results, so doorway pages do not get so much traffic to a site but if you use them, don’t ask why Google punished you.

Links Spam are another major SEO tool and like the other SEO tools it can be abused.  While for search engines like Yahoo backlinks are very important quantity & Google, it is more important what sites backlinks come from.

Getting tons of backlinks from a link farm or a blacklisted site is begging to be penalized.  Also, if you create so many outbound links from your site to other sites, then you have put too much effort in creating useless links because this will sure not not improve your ranking on search engines.
