This is truly a dream come true. The Lanvin x H&M collaboration is going to be released in 200 stores worldwide on November 23, 2010.

“H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. Register Now: Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference - Evolving Influence

I, along with fellow online fashion enthusiasts Mattias Swensen of Bloglovin', Phil Oh of Streetpeeper, Yuri Lee of Lookbook, Gala Darling, Susanna Lau of Stylebubble, Amy Odell of NY Mag's The Cut, Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere and my gurl Rumi Neely aka Fashion Toast will speak at the upcoming Independent Fashion Bloggers conference in NYC next week.

It's going to be held on September 9, 2010 at the Hudson Hotel, 356 West 58th Street, New York City. Registration fee is $60 and includes lunch as well as various goodies.

Playing With Hair Extensions

Never underestimate the power of hair. It's a no-brainer than hair can easily transform looks. The right hair empowers someone with confidence and attitude. As someone with very thick, black, Asian hair, I can't really play with hair as much as I play around with clothes. What, do you really think I'd spend time and effort werking a weave with my busy schedule? DIY? No thanks. So when I had the opportunity to play with my hair using extensions (for the first time) at a shoot last week, I was thrilled beyond belief.

As the shoot progressed, my "hair" became shorter and shorter. They chopped a few inches every time I changed looks.

I cried buckets at this point, pleading them to stop cutting my locks.

But no. They had to cut it shorter and shorter and shorter.

Ah well.

I definitely had fun that day and from now on, I think I'm gonna play with my hair more and more.

The Bryanboy Hair Extensions line is going to be available at Walmart, Sears and Target in 2013.

I kid, I kid you.

After bagging several magazine covers (British Elle, British Vogue, Swedish Elle, American W), the embellished Miu Miu dress is officially THE dress of the season.

I couldn't resist slithering my body into this gorgeous purple number when I saw it on the rack at my shoot in Hamburg.

See, this is what I LOOOOOOOOOVE most about my job. I get to play with lovely clothes!!!

Are you ready for this? Swedish fast fashion giant H&M's collaborates with Lanvin! From today's Women's Wear Daily:

According to market sources, the Swedish fast-fashion giant will unveil a project with Lanvin and its creative director, Alber Elbaz, within the next week.

On Tuesday, H&M launched a viral video campaign on its Web site and YouTube to build curiosity about its annual holiday designer tie-up. A series of black-and-white videos features stereotypical fashion designer types: a man in a skinny dark suit; a woman in an outlandish blouse and chunky jewelry.

I'm sure you've seen all the 'Designer Collaboration' videos H&M released earlier this week.

All Saints

Ahhhh All Saints. I've heard of this British label ages ago but it's been on my radar an awful lot recently. I think I have my friend Fabian to blame. He had this cute leather vest when I visited Berlin in July... and over the weekend when I went to Hamburg, he had this ferocious men's bomber jacket.

I visited their site to see their men's clothing selections and All Saints didn't disappoint.

... and I fell in love with this one.

Nice eh? It's a bit pricey at UK£350 but if you compare the prices of other brands, £350 is actually very, very reasonable. You'd be looking at least four figures if you go high fashion...

Maybe you should ask Fabian who recently had a Shakira moment.

What I liked about Hamburg the most is that there are quite a number of second-hand stores that sell everything from last season's luxury labels to kitschy vintage pieces. One of my fave vintage stores is Vintage & Rags. I'll post some pics later.

Swedish fashion designers are known for their clean, minimal looks so imagine my surprise when I saw these printed floral trousers at the Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair store? I had to have it.

I wore it my Whyred sweater, Pucci bag and of course, a pair of Hope boots I picked up in Stockholm as well.

Tiger of Sweden Spring Summer 2011 Final Walkthrough Video

Here's the view from my seat at the Tiger of Sweden spring/summer 2011 show in Stockholm last week.

Because of a seating mishap before the show started, two high-profile fashion bloggers were bumped off away from their seat to accommodate VIP guest, Swedish professional ice hockey player for the New York Rangers Henrik Lundqvist and his partner Therese. One blogger graciously moved to another spot while the second blogger spat vitriol and exchanged stern words with the famous hockey player for being on the wrong seat, without, of course, knowing how big of a deal he is (the sports star). In the end, show producers had to grab special chairs and sat the Olympic Gold medal player and his paramour in the opposite side of the front row. Hint: it's not me and it's not my gurl Rumi Neely!

Eeek! I must say it was rather painful to watch!
