I love this! It's simple, valuable advice. Not rules to stick to or break. Just the little things we sometimes let ourselves forget. Nicely done!

Funny - I just got this exact clock from my grandfather, who, as it happens, got it as a gift when he worked at IBM. I'm not sure when in his career he received it, or for what, but he did work there for several decades, advancing fairly highly in the company. Very bright guy, very serious about his work. Always used to wear a white shirt and black tie to work.

My clock has a plane, not a triangle. Also, I can't find a serial number or anything like that, but through the clear plastic housing in the back, on one of the plastic moving pieces, I can see "NITTOH CLOCK CO," something else I can't quite make out in this light, and "JAPAN."

There is a chance this clock was made before the 1980s since my grandfather finished his long career with IBM sometime in the mid-80s.

Anybody know how to change the time zone on this thing, or what kind of battery it takes? I'd appreciate an e-mail if so. It says 1.5V in the battery spot and it looks about C or D sized but I don't have either such battery around my apartment.

Also I believe you'll find that the city names are printed in Univers, not Helvetica.

His picture do look stunning, it grabs your attention and takes you to an almost surreal world. It reminds me to the paintings of Rene Magritte.

I have had business cards and real-estate postcards printed at Printerbees and their prices are really good. Their print quality is really impressive as well.

This is some swell stuff. I have been saying for years that Baltimore should get its own 826 branch. It suits the city and we have a big group of designers and illustrators right in the heart of it. Anyway! I hope when/if it becomes a thing, it's as cool as this.
