Ways to improve your aptitude skills:-

*Note:-In Aptitude test there quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning, verbal, and Technical here I am explaining about only Quantitative part.

1. Start from the Basics:- Yes we have to start from the basic we have to back in our school. I mean to say that before starting your aptitude preparation at first you should test yourself by solving some previous year questions. After giving the test if you fill that really have to start from the basic school level problems then don’t be late just start you pen , pencil and books and start solving. Go thought the basic math books of 9^th and 10^th standards.

From the 9^th and 10^th standard books can solve these topics: Mensuration, Geometry, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Interest, Statistics, Quadratic equations. Most of the quantitative Aptitude topics are covered in our school syllabus.

2. Start with your favorite top:  I am asking you to start from your favorite topic like if you like to solve statistics just hang with this topic and solve this with a passionate way. Automatically an interest will develop to solve more questions and topics. I will favor you to start with average question as it was my favorite topic.

3. Group Study: It’s a very great way to improve your aptitude skills. Group study is very much effective to developing aptitude skills take a question and start solving it will create a competitive environment and can give you a good start to improve your aptitude skills .You can choose a cool space for group studies it may be college library, or your study room or your hostel anywhere you can start with your friends.

4. Aptitude skills need Daily practice: Practice, Practice and Practice quantitative aptitude means math and math needs practice. More will you practice your chance to clear aptitude exams will be increase. Only Practice will help you to end your test in a right time. Only Practice is the best way to boost your speed of solving problems, If you will have well practiced you can do many calculation without pencil and paper.

5. Choose the right books: Yes you have to choose a right book to practice. As I have told you start with basic one gradually grow your level.

I will prefer some books here:

a. CBSC NCERT 9^th and 10^th Math books

b. R.S Agarwal quantitative aptitude (recommended)

c. Quantitative aptitude for CAT by Arun sherma

Frankly speaking these books are enough for quants preparation are the awesome

6. Motivation: It can be happen, may be you can’t able to solve an easy question. It happens with everybody. Don’t be upset try other questions. And be positive and be passionate. Stop not till you catch your goal. Your hard work will shine you have the wish on birth be positive.

7. Mock Test: Try to arrange some mock test for time maintenance. Mock test give you a good confidence and that confidence will give you an extra motive force to crack the Aptitude.

8. Focus: Try to focus on your ultimate goal. Few days of practice can give you everything in your life. So concentrate and well focus on what you want. Without it you cannot able to get enthusiasm to get good marks on aptitude test.

9. Don’t be over confident:  It may be happen that you will face situation that like I knows this rubies topics, I have no need of any kind of practice this all things are bogus hoooff. If you will do such like that you will have to pay for that to your career be aware.

10. Revision needed: At the last as usual revision is the mother of memory. You should follow the all above points very carefully and yes sure you have to give regular revision of your aptitude questions if you are really need to improve your aptitude skills.

Exl Infotel Placement Tips :-

Hello to all my dear readers, Now come to the topic for this company most of the student have problem that they don’t know the perfect pattern of their aptitude exam.So first of all we should know what is the actual pattern of the Exl Infotel on campus aptitude.Actually friends i have faced this problem.See the checklist of aptitude patterns of exl infotel.

Note:- There are no 100% guarantee that this question will come in your campus drive i have got some patterns and information about exl infotel campus drive which i am going to discuss.

There was total three round for each stream i am explaining all three step by step.

1.  Offline Aptitude test
2. Group discussion
3. Interview

Offline Aptitude test : In offline aptitude there are generally 25 to 35 question. In my case there were some objective and subjective questions but mostly the subjective questions was there.All question were carrying two marks. Exl infotel shortlisted very few students from Aptitude round like three students out of hundred. So be care full and prepare well to crack Aptitude round.

Group Discussion : This also an elimination round. In a G.D group there were around 12 to 15 students was there and out of 12 only 3 to 4 students are usually selected.

Tips to clear G.D round of exl infotel :

1. Try to speak as much as possible because they are checking your communication skills not your intellectual label just speak thoroughly don’t be shy , If you shy then no chance to get select in their G.D round.

3. Be an part of good conversation of group discussion.

Start Your New Semester

Get Focused

The first thing you have to do to start the semester is to get yourself mentally prepared. If your head isn’t in the game, it won’t matter how many goals you set or schedules you make. You will be unfocused and unmotivated.

Start the semester by getting yourself in the right mindset for success. Doing this will be different for everyone, but it might require a special ritual, like shopping for your school supplies, or some mental exercises, like reviewing class work from the previous semester. Whatever it takes for you, do it.

Set a Grade Goal

Now that you’re ready to tackle the semester, set a goal for yourself. If you had a “C” average last semester, maybe you want to get at least a “B” average this semester. Or perhaps you just want to focus on particular problem areas. For example, if math has always been your weakness, maybe your goal is to get a particular grade in your math class this semester.

Make sure your goal is realistic and attainable. If you are used to getting a “D” in math, don’t set a goal for an “A” this semester. Setting an unrealistic goal will only set you up for failure, and that will make it harder for you to be successful across the board.

Set a Schedule

In order to meet your goals and to be successful in your classes, you will need to set a schedule for yourself. This schedule should include time for studying each day, as well as time for socializing and caring for yourself, such as through exercise or relaxation. By making a schedule, you can be sure that you have enough time to put in the work to meet your goals without become overwhelmed or burned out.

Again, make sure your schedule is realistic. While it may be possible for you to study four hours each day, you may not have the stamina for it. Make a schedule that you know you can stick with for success.

Create a Calendar

Once you have your syllabus, go ahead and create a calendar for the rest of the semester. You will be able to see at a glance what assignments are due in the short and the long term. This calendar will help you to create a successful study schedule and to stay organized.

Be sure to hang your calendar in a place you will see it frequently, such as over your desk where you study. That way you will always be aware of what’s coming up and will be able to plan accordingly.

Don’t Over Commit

When you are in college, you have so many obligations with classes and work, yet there are so many opportunities to do more. You can join clubs, take on internships, or become a teacher’s assistant. Yet, if you do too many of these things, you will overextend yourself and won’t be able to keep up in class.

After you have created your schedule and calendar for the semester, look to see where you have time to take on additional responsibilities. Only take on what you realistically have time for. If there isn’t time for any activities, don’t take them on. Your studies are always more important.

By making these preparations at the beginning of each semester, you can be sure that you start your semester out right and that you set yourself up for success over the coming months. Try these strategies at the start of each semester, and you will be sure to meet your goals while you’re in college.

6. Data Communication and Networking

Its an very important and interesting subject for all CSE IT and ECE students. This book is mainly for networking. Well described through well define images and easy to gasp.This book is also preferred for many competitive exams like Gate , CCNA and Campus recruitment drive.

7. UNIX Ultimate Guide by Sumitabha Das
