Image of the Week: Toyota Sticker Family

Sticker families are all the rage on family vehicles, so why not use them in advertising for family vehicles. Working from a Storyfarm New Media concept, Pivec Advertising and Bully! decided to show what happens when the Sticker Family jumps ship. In this case, from a Honda to a Toyota. Even the dog gets in on the action.

Importing a 3D asset into Unity and assigning materials can sometimes be a tedious endevour -- especially with a lot of mesh renderer's to assign to. We use the Mass Material Assigner script in our studio to get the job done quickly!

Friday Fabulousness - Image of the Week

We love kids. We love football. We think Charles Woodson's donation to the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and the Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital at the University of Michigan is really cool. It's why we're really into the augmented reality application we built for the grand opening. And hey, getting to do a fist-bump with Charles Woodson is just the icing on the cake. Look for the app when it goes live late October!

How to Augment a Classic

If you are going to relaunch an automotive classic, what do you do? Well, if you’re VW Canada, and you’re launching the New Beetle, a mobile campaign seems like the most obvious choice. So, in collaboration with Red Urban and PixelPusher, Bully! created some oversized (like 200ft x 37ft oversized) markers to be placed in Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto. There are some bus station installations too, all equipped with the marker and the image of the New Beetle.
