Cuppa tea?

I love tea. I've been drinking it since the age of four, which really can't be good. I was reading an article about types of cakes the other day, and it made the point that some people dip Madeira Cake in their tea, and the writer advised readers not to try this. I personally think that Madeira Cake is so dull it only tastes decent dipped in tea.

Then again, there is that terrible issue of bits of cake falling into the tea. You get it with biscuits too. Dipping biscuits into tea is a lovely idea, but if you don't dip for long enough the texture is awful, and if you dip for too long, the biscuit falls off and floats around. So you try and fish it out, but you only succeed in pushing it to the bottom.

After a few minutes, you decide to finish it off and...what's this?! A sludge-like mess of saturated biscuit lies at the bottom of the tea cup. How positively disgusting.
