Blogging can be a very powerful way to do business, or at least to generate enough income to be able to work from home (or from the beach, wherever you prefer) just a couple of hours a day and still have enough day left to enjoy it doing something that you love.

These last days I’m focusing on the topic of “how to earn money with a blog”, trying to give you some tips and techniques to make this process easier for you. In the first article I posted, titled “Top 10 Blog Traffic Tips”, you learnt the top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers. Today’s article should help you differenciate between the two kind of bloggers: “reporter blogger” and “expert blogger”, and gives you the reasons why you should aim to be an expert blogger if you want financial freedom.

Enjoy the article and let me know what you think about it.

There are basically two types of bloggers in the world - reporters and experts - and some people perform both roles (usually the experts, it’s hard for reporters to become experts, but it’s easy for experts to report).

If you have ever taken an Internet marketing course or attended a seminar specifically for beginners, you have probably heard about the two different methodologies. Whenever the business model is based on content, and if you blog for money then the model is based on content, people are taught to either start as reporters, or if possible step up as experts.

I’ll be frank; you want to be the expert.

Reporters leverage the content of the experts and in most cases people start off as reporters because they haven’t established expertise. Experts enjoy the perks of preeminence, higher conversion rates because of perceived value, it’s easier to get publicity, people are more likely to seek you out rather than you having to seek others out, joint ventures come easier, etc… experts in most cases simply make more money and attract more attention.

Most Bloggers Are Reporters

The thing with expertise is that it requires something - experience. No person becomes an expert without doing things and learning. Bloggers usually start out without expertise and as a result begin their blogging journey by talking about everything going on in their niche (reporting) and by interviewing and talking about other experts (reporting again).

There’s nothing wrong with reporting of course and for many people it’s a necessity at first until you build up some expertise. Unfortunately the ratios are pretty skewed when it comes to reporters and experts - there are a lot more reporters than there are experts, hence reporters tend to struggle to gain attention and when they do, they often just enhance the reputation of the expert they are reporting on.

Don’t Replicate Your Teacher

If you have ever spent some time browsing products in the learn Internet marketing niche you will notice a pattern. Many people first study Internet marketing from a “guru” (for lack of a better term). The guru teaches how he or she is able to make money online, and very often the view that the student gleams is that in order to make money online you have to teach others how to make money online.

The end result of this process is a huge army of amateurs attempting to replicate what their teacher does in the same industry - the Internet marketing industry - not realizing that without expert status based on a proven record and all the perks that come with it, it’s next to impossible to succeed.

Even people, who enjoy marginal success, say for example growing an email list of 1,000 people, then go out and launch a product about how to grow an email list of 1,000 people. Now I have no problems with that, I think it’s fine to teach beginners and leverage whatever achievements you have, the problem is that people gravitate to the same niche - Internet marketing - and rarely have any key points of differentiation.

How many products out there do you know of that all claim to teach the same things - email marketing, SEO, pay per click, affiliate marketing, and all the sub-niches that fall under the category of Internet marketing. It’s a saturated market, yet when you see your teachers and other gurus making money teaching others how to make money (and let’s face it - making money as a subject is one of the most compelling) - your natural inclination is to follow in their footsteps.

If the key is to become an expert and you haven’t spent the last 5-10 years making money online, I suggest you look for another niche to establish expertise in.

Report on Your Process, Not Others

The secret to progress from reporter to expert is not to focus on other experts and instead report on your own journey. When you are learning how to do something and implementing things day by day, or studying other people’s work, you need to take your process and what you do as a result of what you learn, and use it as content for your blog.

It’s okay to talk about experts when you learn something from them, but always relate it to what you are doing. If you learn a technique from an expert it’s fine to state you learned it from them (and affiliate link to their product too!) but you should then take that technique, apply it to what you are doing and then report back YOUR results, not there’s. Frame things using your opinion - your stories - and don’t regurgitate what the expert said. The key is differentiation and personality, not replication.

Expertise comes from doing things most people don’t do and then talking about it. If you do this often enough you wake up one day as an expert, possibly without even realizing how it happened, simply because you were so good at reporting what you did.

You Are Already An Expert

Most people fail to become experts (or perceived as experts) because they don’t leverage what they already know. Every person who lives a life learns things as they go, takes action every day and knows something about something. The reason why they never become an expert is because they choose not to (which is fine for some, not everyone wants to be an expert), but if your goal is to blog your way to expertise and leave the world of reporting behind you have to start teaching and doing so by leveraging real experience.

Experience can come from what you do today and what you have done previously; you just need to take enough steps to demonstrate what you already know and what you are presently learning along your journey. I know so many people in my life, who are experts simply by virtue of the life they have lived, yet they are so insecure about what they know, they never commit their knowledge to words for fear of…well fear.

Blogs and the Web in general, are amazing resources when you leverage them as a communication tool to spread your expertise because of the sheer scope of people they can reach. If all you ever do is talk to people in person and share your experience using limited communication mediums, you haven’t much hope of becoming an expert. Take what you know and show other people through blogging, and you might be surprised how people change their perception of you in time.

Reporting Is A Stepping Stone

If your previous experience and expertise is from an area you want to leave behind or you are starting from “scratch”, then reporting is the path you must walk, at least for the short term.

Reporting is a lot of fun. Interviewing experts, talking about what other people are doing and just being part of a community is not a bad way to blog. In many cases people make a career of reporting (journalism is about just that), but if you truly want success and exponential results, at some point you will have to stand up and proclaim yourself as someone unusually good at something and then proceed to demonstrate it over and over again.

Have patience and focus on what you do to learn and then translate that experience into lessons for others, and remember, it’s okay to be a big fish in a small pond, that’s all most experts really are.

In every blogger’s life comes a special day - the day they first launch a new blog. Now unless you went out and purchased someone else’s blog chances are your blog launched with only one very loyal reader - you. Maybe a few days later you received a few hits when you told your sister, father, girlfriend and best friend about your new blog but that’s about as far you went when it comes to finding readers.

Here are the top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers. These are tips specifically for new bloggers, those people who have next-to-no audience at the moment and want to get the ball rolling.

It helps if you work on this list from top to bottom as each technique builds on the previous step to help you create momentum. Eventually once you establish enough momentum you gain what is called “traction”, which is a large enough audience base (about 500 readers a day is good) that you no longer have to work too hard on finding new readers. Instead your current loyal readers do the work for you through word of mouth.

Top 10 Tips

1. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very practical tips or advice. This article you are currently reading could be considered a pillar article since it is very practical and a good “how-to” lesson. This style of article has long term appeal, stays current (it isn’t news or time dependent) and offers real value and insight. The more pillars you have on your blog the better.

2. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.

You don’t have to produce one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new. Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so the more content you can produce at this time the better.

3. Use a proper domain name. If you are serious about blogging be serious about what you call your blog. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need a easily rememberable domain name. People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world (that’s the offline world, you remember that place right?) so you need to make it easy for them to spread the word and pass on your URL. Try and get a .com if you can and focus on small easy to remember domains rather than worry about having the correct keywords (of course if you can get great keywords and easy to remember then you’ve done a good job!).

4. Start commenting on other blogs. Once you have your pillar articles and your daily fresh smaller articles your blog is ready to be exposed to the world. One of the best ways to find the right type of reader for your blog is to comment on other people’s blogs. You should aim to comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.

Most blog commenting systems allow you to have your name/title linked to your blog when you leave a comment. This is how people find your blog. If you are a prolific commentor and always have something valuable to say then people will be interested to read more of your work and hence click through to visit your blog.

5. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is sort of like a blog conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger’s article you can do a trackback to their entry. What this does is leave a truncated summary of your blog post on their blog entry - it’s sort of like your blog telling someone else’s blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks often appear like comments.

This is a good technique because like leaving comments a trackback leaves a link from another blog back to yours for readers to follow, but it also does something very important - it gets the attention of another blogger. The other blogger will likely come and read your post eager to see what you wrote about them. They may then become a loyal reader of yours or at least monitor you and if you are lucky some time down the road they may do a post linking to your blog bringing in more new readers.

6. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. If they see people commenting on your blog then they infer that your content must be good since you have readers so they should stick around and see what all the fuss is about. To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.

7. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival often enjoy a spike in new readers.

To find the right blog carnival for your blog, do a search at blogcarnival.com.

8. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of new readers but it’s so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it’s worth the effort. Go to Blog Top Sites, find the appropriate category for your blog and submit it. You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog so you can rank and then sit back and watch the traffic come in. You will probably only get 1-10 incoming readers per day with this technique but over time it can build up as you climb the rankings. It all helps!

9. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn’t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have - your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.

How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource Box”. You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.

10. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all of the techniques I’ve listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you do everything above you may bring in readers but they won’t stay or bother to come back. Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

I hope you enjoyed this list of traffic tips. There are many more things you can do. Finding readers is all about testing to see what works best for you and your audience and I have no doubt if you put your mind to it you will find a balance that works for you.

By now I’m sure you’ve heard lots about Brad Callen’s keyword research and keyword generation tool, Keyword Elite.

But if not, I wanted to expose to you the great features of this keyword software and how can you profit from it.

As you probably know, one of the most lucrative ways to generate income online is through Per Pay Click advertising. In order to get the most profit you need to find and use the right keywords, though. And that’s where this software can help you, A LOT.

Use the right keywords or keyword phrases and you will be able to defeat your online competitors (no matter if they are large companies or experienced marketers.)

According to InternetWorldStats.com there are currently 1,407,724,920 internet users worldwide. That means that you can get access to more than 1 Billion potential buyers and put your products/websites or someone else’s products (as affiliate) in front of them.

Finding YOUR keywords, or even better, finding out your competitor’s keywords, can give you the leverage you need to become successful online.

If you are like me, you prefer to know what do the experts on the field think about this software. And no better expert on the internet marketing arena than John Reese (from Traffic Secrets 2.0). This is what he has to say about Keyword Elite:

“This Thing is One of The Most Powerful Research Tools Ever Created”

And he went on to predicting that “this software will quickly become:

The #1 tool for anyone building ‘VRE’ sites for making money with AdSense.
The #1 tool for anyone that wants to make money selling ebooks or other info-products.
The #1 tool for anyone that wants to make money promoting affiliate programs.
The #1 tool for anyone that wants to generate tons of free traffic from the search engines.
The #1 tool for anyone wanting to build huge, targeted opt-in email lists.
The #1 tool for anyone wanting to make money from consulting and teaching others how to do business online.”

So, what can you do with Keyword Elite:

-create huge keyword lists in seconds
-sort, filter and manipulate keywords in more than 100 different ways
-create and upload Adwords campaigns and groups
-uncover high paying Adsense keywords
-find low cost advertising keywords to exploit via Adwords
-analyze your Pay Per Click competition
-uncover hidden niches
-create high quality content from the keywords found with Keyword Elite
-choose from three different webpage templates
-create your own article webpage templates
-instantly see whether it’s worth to compete in a specific market
-learn how well optimized your competitor’s websites are
-spy on an unlimited number of websites
-learn exactly which keywords are making your competition money

A key thing here, is that you don’t need a website, a list, auto-responder or a business model to profit from the software. If you have them, though, Keyword Elite will help you boost your traffic and explode your sales.
But don’t expect it to create an entire business for you while you are surfing or sleeping. This isn’t a get-rich-doing-nothing claim.

And yes, if you want to use Keyword Elite but you live outside USA, don’t worry. It is compatible for all countries.

If you decide to give it a try, you’ll get instant access to a comprehensive training facility with step-by-step video, ‘How-to’ information on using all these features.

Brad Callen offers the next bonuses with the software:

1. Fool-Proof Keyword Elite success blueprint
2. Access to the KE Member’s only Forum
3. Free lifetime upgrades
4. Comprehensive training facility

Plus a 8-week money-back-guarantee to test it.

Here you’ll find 5 videos showing Keyword Elite in action.

One of the things we need to remember when we try to sell something online is that people don’t come to the Internet to buy something (unless they already know what they want). They come first to find information that will help them solve a problem or question. Therefore, selling an information product online is one of the best and most profitable options available.

For instance, if your niche market is people trying to find a suitable wireless router for their Apple computer, you could write an eBook about the 10 best wireless routers to use with an Apple.

It is not only one of the most profitable things to sell online, but it is also one of the best possible product ideas for people who are just getting started with their Internet businesses. Since you don’t want to have lots of expenses when you start your online business, producing an information product will help you get started, with very low or no costs (unless you hire a freelance to write the content for you) to produce or deliver your product. And once it’s written, there’s no cost to mantain it. It doesn’t cost you anything to make copies and send them to your client, so you make a substantial profit on each copy of the product you sell.

Information products are easy to modify and update, and you can completely automate your business.
If you want to reach many more people you can pay high commissions to affiliates, who in turn will increase your exposure and your sales.

Having said that, we should take into account one possible disadvantage: security. If you create your eBook as a document with Microsoft Word, you could end up having your product stolen. Using the right tools, though, you can minimize the risk (for instance, you could create your document as a password-protected PDF file.)

If you are serious about security, be sure to look into some sort of eBook authoring program, like eBook Pro (www.ebookpro.com), which lets you remotely disable access of anyone found to be pirating your work.

Why selling info products means 100% profit for your business? Because you don’t have to deal with stocking, packaging and shipping costs. You deliver your product electronically, that is, instantly satisfying the demands of the impulse buyer.

Rich Schefren, also called, “Coach to the Internet Gurus” is the founder and president of Strategic Profits.
He graduated from Case Western Reserve University, summa cum laude as an accounting major. Afterwards, Arthur Anderson’s Strategic Planning Division recruited him and there he received several awards.

After some time gaining experience at Arthur Anderson’s company, he took the opportunity to take over his family’s struggling clothing business. Rich turned his family’s business into a hot eclectic clothing boutique, with even celebrities as loyal customers. His unique marketing ideas transformed the company from $1.5 to over $6.5 million in revenue in just three years.

Rich’s entrepreneurial mindset took him to invest $7.500 to creat a hypnosis center, which expanded to multiple locations and generated over $7 million in four years.

But R. Schefren didn’t stop there. He wanted to share his success secrets and therefore he developed a program for other hypnosis centers in order to help them achieve the success he had. After making $287.000 in just one week selling the program, he decided to focus on the creation of an information product business.

Over the next two years he mastered the joint ventures strategies and tecniques and generated $4 million in revenue through some joint ventures with the major online marketing players.

Rich’s passion is to share what he has learned with all struggling internet marketers who want to build real businesses, enjoying their personal life and free time at the same time.
With this purpose Rich Schefren founded Strategic Profits, which has the next mission:

“We strive to provide a proven system that allows smart,
but overwhelmed business owners to quickly consolidate
profitability, eliminate wasted effort, and put the best
possible version of your business on autopilot. So you rake
in more money, spend less time in the office (and more
time on vacation)… while everything runs (and grows) with
amazing professional efficiency!”

Strategic Profits helps its clients achieve: “More Money, More Business, More Time Off.”

These are some of the products “made-in” Strategic Profits:

Hi there.
I’ve just read an excellent article by Troy White, Small Business Mastery editor, as a supplement to The Total Package (Clayton Makepeace). In this article the author reflects on how to make your client’s lives better, therefore increasing exponentially your sales and your business profits.
Troy White reveals why that question is so powerful - and shares 27 more secrets to business success.

Enjoy it!

Fellow Business-Builder,

Having just wrapped up my Wild West Marketing and Wealth Summit, I have been reflecting on what made it good – and what needs improvement.

I host two seminars a year of my own, and I usually attend two others, hosted by others.

On top of that, I run a local monthly marketing group that meets once a month in Calgary.

Why would I do all this?

To me, it is the quickest and most effective way to enhance my knowledge and grow my revenues.

Surrounding yourself with like-minded, success-driven entrepreneurs is a MUST.

Constantly learning and evolving is also just as important.

That said, I have been reflecting back on some of my greatest lessons learned from both hosting and attending business building conferences.

For the next two weeks, I am going to share with you some of my greatest lessons, condensed into some bite-sized nuggets you can use.

On with it …

1 - Ask yourself this question - “Are Your Goals Worthy of You?” Read it and ask it again. It is the opposite of what 95% of people ask - they switch the words and ask if they are worthy of their goals. WRONG ! You need to have confidence in yourself and in your vision in life. Are your goals big enough and grandiose enough? Make them so. Dream big … really, really big. And then ask again - is that goal worthy of you?

2 - Start working in time chunks. Set aside 2-4 uninterrupted hours for your projects. Most people will start a project and deal with interruptions as they come through the door, or e-mail, or phone. WRONG! You are now a time-chunker – and people around you need to understand this is the way you now work. Get used to this way of working and you will accomplish amazing things.

3 - Start seeking the valuable lesson in everything you do, hear, experience and pass by. No matter if the project fails or succeeds – write down what you learned from it. Every person you meet and everything you do – has a lesson you can learn. It is up to you to find out what that lesson is, though. And do it before you forget. Write it down in your journal (if you do not have a journal – go get one).

4 - Read your lesson journal – Which lesson can you apply today to your next project? Or your next problem? Then do it. Find a way to apply and use that today – do it and record your results.

5 - No matter what your business is, get your journal out and write down this question at the top of the page - “How can I personally make my clients’ lives better?”

A simple question but very powerful. Think about it – how many companies that you deal with – offline or online – apply this model? Less than 10%, I bet. Most of them are out to get the sale and then move on to the next “prospect.” If they actually considered how they could help your life be better – how effective could they be?

For example – there is a company that I personally dealt with offline that sell kids’ educational products. I spent $2,000 on their products about a year and a half ago. And never heard from them again. If they had thought about how they could help me and my kids have a better life, they would quickly realize that they could offer me products to help us at least monthly. I would gladly spend $100/month on my kids’ future and success. And yet, I have never heard from them again. Do you know anyone like this? How does it apply to your business?

6 - Always have your antennae up. Look and listen for ideas, insights, and concepts that you have never thought of. Write them down. Talk to anybody and everybody you run into. Ask them what they do, how they do it, why they do it, what could make their jobs better, their offerings better … what are their dreams and aspirations?

7 - Ask yourself – “What don’t I know that is absolutely critical to my success?” Then decide where you can find that information quickly. Start writing down ideas on how you can work with people that have that knowledge. If you do not have money to pay them for their expertise – how else can you work with them? Any way you can trade services for services or services for products or products for products?

8 - Start writing a book … on whatever you are good at, or whatever you want to be good at. Start researching the industry and successful businesses in that industry. A book is one of the most important tools for building your credibility and for creating publicity for your business. The book does not necessarily have to be one you sell – it can be a bonus for prospects or clients to show them you know what you are talking about.

9 - Find or pick a charity that you deeply believe in. How can you help them accomplish their goals? Possibly volunteer your services or donate products they can auction off to raise funds. Donate a percentage of all revenue you receive to the charity. Find multiple ways to help them, and you will quickly find opportunities knocking on your doorstep.

10 - Start building a dream team. These people can be people in your life now (if they are motivated and positive people) or people you would love to work with. If you do not know them now – think of ways you can give back to their interests, passions or charitable causes they are interested in. Start interviewing these people and find out what makes them tick.

11 - Create your stadium pitch. Get some paper out and think about your product or service. Imagine you have a stadium of 50,000 people at your beck and call. You get 30-60 seconds in front of the audience to convince them of you and your offering. What would you say? How could you get your point across so convincingly that they would be stupid to say no? Now consider the fact that any one of them can walk out at any point in time and do not have to listen to your pitch. Would your pitch change? What can you say to make them stay? What can you say to make them buy?

12 - Consider that there are only three ways you can grow your business. You can increase the number of clients, increase the average sale price, or increase the number of times they buy in a year. Most people (90%) focus in on increasing the number of clients – and it is the least effective and the least profitable. So what can you do to increase the other two methods?

13 - Use a shotgun approach to marketing your business. Think of multiple ways to promote your offering – and have them all happen at once. A very similar strategy to war – air, land, water attacks, each of which has multiple resources and firepower coming at the target (the customer) at once. How does this apply to your offering? What types of firepower will you use?

14 - Test all of your crazy ideas. No matter how crazy they sound – try it out. Find out which ones work. Then optimize how effective they are. Test all of the variations of that idea. Find out which variation works best.

15 - Think of the offering your prospects see. What can you do to educate your prospects to the extreme that they know everything there is to know about what you do? If you are an expert (which you need to be) in your business – how can you show your clients how they, too, can be an expert – before they purchase?

16 - What is your “magnificent obsession”? You must have a passion so deep that everyone who you talk to understands what you stand for and what you want to accomplish. When you build your obsession and ingrain it into your soul – nobody will be able to derail you from obtaining your goal – no matter how negative they are.

17 - A 30-second personal drill you must do. Ask yourself – am I having fun? What could you do to enjoy your life more? How big or small of a company do you want to run (two people or 200 to manage)? What would happen to your business if you decided to take a month off? Once you have these answers, you now understand areas you MUST start working on immediately.

18 - Your customers are marketing geniuses – They know exactly what they want and it is your job to find that out. Find ways to phone, e-mail, fax or talk to them about their needs, wants, desires, passions, concerns, etc. When you know what type of a company they want to deal with – you have your ticket to fortunes. People deal with you because they want you to change their life – do you deliver on their wants?

19 - Always follow your gut feelings, intuition and instincts – They will lead you in the right direction. If you do not know how to tap into these resources or want to build on them to strengthen them – learn how. There are a multitude of resources out there that show you step-by-step how to build on them.

20 - What would you do differently in your business if it was treated like a movie theatre? Admission is charged at the door, and word travels quickly if it is a box office hit or a box office flop? How would your movie be received?

21 - Referrals can be one of the most important tools you can use to exponentially grow your business. There are hundreds of ways to generate referrals. Do you use any of them now? How could you reward people to refer others to your business? If you have not done your job on making your clients happy – you cannot ask for a referral. Are you comfortable asking?

Some of the tools available to generate referrals; pay them per lead, ask your competition, bribe people in a fun way, ask your vendors, automate the referral process, donate to charity, be outrageous, put on an event, publicity, conference calls, ask family and friends, and there are many, many more. The key, though, is to start writing down ideas on what works for you. Then start doing it.

22 - Think about the lifetime value of your clients. Maybe your frontend sale is $40, but how many times will they buy in a month, a year, a lifetime? Add the numbers up – what is one client worth to you in a lifetime? How much do you spend to obtain one new client? Do you see the difference here? Most people spend under $10 to obtain one new client and yet the lifetime value of that client is $1,000. Do you see the problem? For every $10 you invest, you receive $1,000. How many $10 bills will you now invest in client acquisition?

23 - Ask – “Who else does business with my ideal client?” Now go talk to those people – competitors or not. Explain your mission in life and the goal of your business. Find out how their business is doing and if they are looking for new ways to generate business. Start finding ways to deal with everyone that your clients buy from.

24 - What can you say to your clients or prospects to make them ask, “Huh, what did you just say?” Make your statements so outrageous that they ask you to prove it. And then prove it.

25 - If you are in a retail business (which is really what a Web business is) – do not sell the products. Sell the experience of your store. This is the biggest reason retail business go out of business so quickly – they are there to discount products – and that is it.

26 - Set the buying criteria for your prospects. One they have seen your offering, they have to re-evaluate how they decide who to buy from … because you made them realize you are the only one that provides an experience as high-quality as you do.

27 - Plan your long-term strategies before you plan your tactics. Strategy shows where you plan on going, who you want to be, and what types of clients you want as your friends. Tactics show how to get all of your strategy accomplished.

28 - Use risk reversal in your offer. Make it so your clients come out so far ahead by dealing with you they would be stupid not to. Even if they decide that your product is not for them and they return it – they still come out of the deal with the refund and many bonuses that they never had before dealing with you.

Most importantly – TAKE ACTION TODAY.

It’s been already one month since Brad & Matt Callen released their new web application BlinkWeb. After these four weeks they are now reporting that 20.000 websites have been created by 18.500 BlinkWeb users.
(If you still don’t know what BlinkWeb is, you can read my previous post titled “BlinkWeb: the end of web design strugles?” here)

During this month operating the application they have been improving the site and creating a ton of additions to BlinkWeb, such as:

1. New affiliate program where you can promote Blinkweb and make recurring commissions every single month!

2. Created a video course teaching Blink users how to use their newly created Blinkweb sites to make 2,000 bucks per month, or more, using their Blink websites.

3. Completely re-worked the website creation process so it’s no where near as confusing as it was on the first day Blink launched.

4. You can now download your websites in a .zip file so you can use your current webhost and still use the BW page builder to create your websites, or you can get a free domain name, or free subdomain name, or host with Blinkweb. You get the option of all 3!

5. 20 new website templates added and more being created as I write this email.

As Brad and Matt Callen announce, there’s a heck of a lot more. Too much to list here.

I recommend you to visit BlinkWeb.com, sign up for a free account and start right now creating your new website (either just for fun or for business purposes). It’s so simple as drag & drop!

P.S.: again, please share your creations with us by writting a comment with the link to your created website (or just tell us what do you think about this web application)
