1. What is an acceptable use policy? Who decides what constitutes acceptable use? What can happen if you violate an acceptable use policy?

An acceptable use policy defines what a person can and cannot do on a machine or the Internet connection he or she is on. A policy is always used to make sure machines(computers, services, etc.) are used in an way acceptable to that company. For example, if I had a company named Jordan BP selling computers as CEO along with senior management would create a acceptable use policy for our machines and the owners of that policy decide what is acceptable for a particular machine. If this policy is violated by any person that person is violating local, state, and U.S. laws.

2. Are you more or less likely to be misunderstood online? Why?

I am more likely to be understood online because being online is a different type of world, it is a world within itself. The Internet is a connection of all the world of people embedding personal ideas and opportunities that if the Internet was not available, people would never know about. It is a source to express myself and still everyone can read understand me with or without a picture.

3. What are two advantages of social networks?

Two advantages of social networks is building camaraderie with people from many different cultural backgrounds. The ability to share information with friends, family, and people from all over the world to build connections and lifelong friendships. Lastly, being able to find jobs the online job hunting and seeing new jobs because a job is hard to find these days.
