This movie came on and it was differant than the many Frankie and Annette beach party movies. It was different because of Astrud. She walked across the screen singing what I thought then and still do now, one of the coolest, laid back and sexy songs I have ever heard. She has a voice like silk. It was her that made it so good. I went home and fixed my hair like her and then I strolled down the block singing Ipanema in my best Brazilian accent. I wanted to be just like Astrud. I still do.

Dona Bogarthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18000894844085280065noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2373532640140103475.post-63479463079494592942015-11-21T21:18:00.001-06:002015-11-21T21:18:57.828-06:00This has to be one of my favorite performances of all time.
