What makes my business Butterflykiss Portraits stand out from the
crowd?? There are a lot of photographers out there, it’s more than just being
able to use a camera, here is my list:

1) I have 3 Cameras: for my weddings no matter, if I have a 2nd
photographer or not your wedding will have back up camera.

2) I offer flash drive with all edited pictures with print rights.
Now if you haven’t already known this I say about 95% of photographers do not
offer print rights on your photo session. You have to order the prints from
their store. I know if I’m going have a professional photographer take my
family pictures I would like to have digital images. So then you can print as
many prints as you like, make projects, or post pictures on social Medias. FYI:
My wedding packages include the flash drives with all your edited pictures.

3) Photography Permits!! If you want pictures done in Rocky
Mountain National Park or Fort Collins Nature Areas I have it covered. These
areas require PERMITS! I even had to take CPR for my Rocky Mountain National
Park Photography Permit. You don’t want to go a photo session and you’re told
you can’t get your pictures taken there!

4) Liability Insurance: Ok I say 60% of photographers have this,
which in the wedding business most venues require Liability Insurance for all
their vendors. For all my permits it was required.

5) Military Discount! I’m a military wife and understand the life.
I want to show my thanks to the people who serve. I do offer 10% military
discount

6) Affordable Prints & Photo Session Fees: Now with some photographers you might see at
4×6 prices at $25!!! I use a great quality & affordable lab so I’m able to
price my prints affordable. Prices range at starting price $5. The quality is
amazing!  I keep telling other photographers in this economy, I rather have some business then no business.

7) I live in the mountains so I know all the great spots for
amazing mountain nature areas, got to love Colorado!!

8.) I’m not just a family or wedding photographer. I love every
type of photography. I do anything from boudoir, pets, newborn, children, and
more! Do you have an amazing idea?  Contact

9) I’m laid back: I don’t stay in one pose or area for 15 mins! I
don’t say tilt your head. I want the pictures to look natural. I want your
photo session experience fun and enjoyable! Say your child that is 2 years old and
doesn’t like to stay  one spot and pose.
I let your child have fun at the location and explore while I take amazing
pictures of your child being them.

10) Special Needs/Medical: I have a brother that is deaf and
autistic. I have taken care of special needs kids at summer camps and church
most of my young adult years. I understand the difficulty it can be and I’m
very patient and caring. It’s so important to document pictures of any child
out there. I love kids (mother of 3) and enjoy everyone photo session I have
with my clients.

11) Pets Allowed! Pets of any kind from cats, dogs, horses,
whatever! I love pets. Your animals are welcome at your photo session.

12) Offer Giveaways and Deals. On my facebook fan
page I offer photo contest giveaways and deals. So make sure you like my
page so you can be posted.

13) Travel: I do weddings out of state and willing to travel anywhere!!

14) Pictures Forever: I keep your photo session pictures forever!
They are on backup hard drives so in case something happened to one hard drive
they won’t be lost! So years from now you lost your flash drive with images or
your computer crashes, DON’T WORRY it’s covered! Just contact me and I will
take care of it.

15) I’m THERE: I’m at your wedding or photo session no matter
what. I was evacuated last year because of the high park fire then had a wedding
the next day, I was there and did my job. Another case I broke my ankle and in
2 days I had 2 photo sessions in a foot of snow in the mountains. I took brace
boot off that my doctor gave me put my snow boots and got my photo sessions
done! It was important for me to take pictures of those special moments because
it’s a once in a life time.

16) Wedding Camera Madness: Now the new thing with wedding
photographers is making the clients’ guest leave their cameras or phones at the
door so it’s not camera crazy at weddings. Now in this time of age I get it,
everyone has a camera phones and social media is everything! I’m not going say
no. If your friend wants to get a picture with her phone with you (the bride)
and her so she can post it on facebook right away, that’s fine. I will be right
by and after she gets her camera phone picture I will then take a professional
photo for you to keep . Everyone is happy. So I allow cameras & phones at
the weddings unless someone keeps getting in the way of me doing my job then I
will be polite and ask them to move. But that’s only happened once. Most people
are very understanding.

17) Props: I have a prop pinterest board, which I have my clients
view. If they like anything and wish to use some of them I take them to the photo
session or wedding.

18.) Wedding Ideas and List: For weddings I request my clients to
write me a list of people they want pictures with so we don’t forget
anyone.  Also ask for timeline of the
wedding day and I make a pinterest board where my wedding clients can post
picture ideas they like for their wedding.

19) Outdoors:  I prefer outdoors.  I have been asked so many times “Why Don’t You have A Studio?” Because I live in the most beautiful state out there.  I think outdoor photographer tells more of a story.  I like how the trees or mountains frame the clients.  I like having the clients have a snow ball fight or just have fun.  I think outdoor portrait photography has so much powerful meaning then just a plain studio backdrop.  You can get so many different types of poses and styles. 

20)  Friendship:  I don’t look at my clients as a job.  I have built so friendships from my clients.  I have been blessed with so many amazing clients that make my job fun!  It’s such amazing thing to see families over the years and seeing the kids grow up.  Or seeing wedding clients from taking pictures from engagment, wedding, maternity, newborn, and then famiy sessions.  I’m hired to take pictures of all the great moments to be marked down in history.

21) Photoshop:  I do edit my images.  I don’t go over board so you look like your air brushed or fake.  I like to have the images look as natural as possible.  I will take care of blemishes or anything like that.  I want people to remember you as youm, not a person that looks cartoonish.

22) Preview:  I do offer preview pictures so within 48 hrs you can see a few pictures from your photo session.  Which are posted on my facebook and blog.  I know I would be super excited to see even one picutre if I got a photo session done of my family.  I don’t want my clients to wait forever.  No turn around time on pictures on average is no more then 1 1/2 week, unless it’s christmas picture season then it can be a little longer.  But i’m pretty good at getting them done asap. 

23) Wedding Price:  My wedding packages are the most affordable prices out there. I’m not 4k or 5K.  I’m flexiable to add hours or less to my package.  You can’t find a better price out there with the quality that comes with it!

24) Photography is a natural talent to me.  It’s been my dream job.  And to me it’s one of the most important jobs
out there, taking pictures of moments to last forever. 

I finally upgraded from CD to flash drives!!  I also ordered new cases to put the flash drives in which are on their way (not in picture).  They will be put inside a case then inside the purple pouch.  Excited for my new product.  Have all your edited images from your photo session on a flash drive!!

It’s been amazing year.  Wanted to show my thank you to all my wonderful clients.  I’m doing a giveaway for a 1hr photo session that comes with all the edited images with print rights!  Here is how it’s going to work.  You need to take a picture of a image you used from your photo session with Butterflykiss Portraits.  It can be a scrapbook, picture in a frame, canvas, anything!!  You can use your phone to take the image or camera (doesn’t have to be professional).
