Usually I don’t care much for skydiving but these 81 guys really deserve a round of applause.

I get quickly irritated when playing normal ping pong, this would just make me lose my mind.

As you may have guessed, this beautiful house belongs to a lifelong fan of author J.R.R. Tolkien. He wanted to have a special place for the rare books and Tolkien-inspired memorabilia that he has collected in 30 years of travel in the U.S. and abroad. This 600-square foot building is actually a short walk from his main house in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

I know some old ladies that would really love to have this thing in front of their apartment blocks and lock it at night, so that no one could come and sit there.

Firefighters in Colorado have been struggling for nearly a week to contain the 14,000-acre wildfire that has been spreading near Colorado Springs. The Black Forest fire is now the most destructive one in the state’s history, killing two people and burning down 485 homes so far. Still you can see in these pictures how some homes amazingly managed to avoid the flames.

There’s a glitch in the matrix.

Luckily I’ve played a lot of puzzle quest games as a kid so this seems like child’s play to me.

So Google is launching these huge balloons to bring Internet to remote and difficult to reach areas, like mountain ranges, archipelagos and jungles, starting with New Zealand (Canterbury). They called it Project Loon.

It didn’t came as a surprise that none of the folk remedies for hangovers actually work. I’ve tried coffee and pickles over the years and even though they’re tasty and I think they do relieve some of the effects (partially due to placebo, of course), you’re still pretty much hungover for the rest of the day.
