It seems to me that every parent has a favorite. My husband and I have both experienced this growing up, and being middle children. Now as a mother myself , I can't imagine being this way.
Did your DH help pick out your wedding dress?

I was just watching Say Yes to the Dress and I am amazed, especially at one bride, who fell in love with a dress but her fiancee didn't like something about it so she didn't get it. She called him to come to the store to look at it to get his approval. She said she couldn't decide without him. This I think is a little more than just helping but I was wondering how many brides had their DH involved in the dress picking.
My DH had no clue what my dressed looked like until I walked down the aisle. I did ask his opinion on the bridesmaid dresses though.

For those working mommies--do you like working, or do you wish you could stay home?? What is your greatest challenge/benefit from working?

I just started working as a cashier last week after staying home since my son was born 10 months ago. It is challenging in that I am very tired all the time, I have to pay through the nose for daycare cuz I don't qualify for state assistance, and I miss my baby. Also the house is always a mess and I have a mound of laundry to do on my day off. I wish I could stay home but even with me working we are struggling to pay the bills. On the plus side though, I get some adult conversation, I get some quiet time away from the baby to make me miss him more, and I get a paycheck. How old are your children? How long have you been working? What is your greatest challenge? Would you stay home if you could??

I went to get a little Christmas shopping done today and barely put a dent in it, but it's a start anyway. Well, I just bought some generic man gifts and woman gifts for some the people we have to buy for. I come home and my husband decides he wants some of gifts for himself and opens one of the boxes up. He gave me some cash out of his spending money for it, but I'm just like geesh How much more of this do I get to look foward to? LoL.
Treatment resistant depression and being a mom?

I have had issues with depression since I was 14. I've been on pretty much every medication that exists, seen 9 different psychiatrists, and in therapy and none of it ever helped me. All that has ever helped me was time. Now I am 8 months out and I see no end in sight to the depression that has been worsened by motherhood. I can't be a depressed mom like this: It is like I tell myself to just do one more day, give one more smile, and you'll feel better tomorrow, but that never happens. I need to go the natural route or get ECT, so far I've been feeling a little better with adequate rest, nutrition, exercise, and try to get enough sunlight.. but I'm still in a pretty deep hole. There are no naturopaths near me. Does anyone on here have any experience with natural herbs or supplements that they can recommend to me? Or information for me? I am still breastfeeding, by the way. I'd just get ECT but my doc is not board yet..

How can I rekindle my sexual attraction to my man?

I have been in a relationship for three years now. Things are generally fine but our sex life is no fun. Between his inability to make me climax and his lack of endurance during the act sex totally sucks. I am finally getting over my hangups and trying to teach him how to get me off and he is learning. The problem is I don't have one iota of sexual attraction left for him. I also have little respect for him as a man. He is very feminine and has none of the more manly traits that light my fire. It's like it doesn't matter how good he gets in bed, it isn't going to matter unless I am attracted to him. I have to pretend it is someone else to get aroused and then as soon as I open my eyes or he talks it is gone. Even worse seeing him has the opposite effect. How do I make myself be attracted to him again?

Do you get your pets something for Christmas?

We put up our Christmas tree last night.. (Yes yes, I know! It's early) and our two small dogs both have stockings. Well of course there is nothing in them, but they hang with my husband and I and our sons stocking. Well my MIL came over and freaked out because they are just "dogs" .. I explained that they have been with us for years and we love them and she just left all pissy! Haha. But our dogs have a stocking that we put treats in, and the night before Christmas, we wrap up a toy or a sweather and always put a little treat in it or some rolled up ham so that they smell it and basically open their own present! It's the cutest thing!

Getting pregnant after depo provera??

I have had 7 children. I ALWAYS suffer from HG. I recently stopped getting the depo injections. I have never had problems conceiving, i am now worried after reading all these horror stories about it taking women up to 6 years to have another child. Id like to know if any of you got pregnant soon after depo.
Thanks

The question about scrapes and bruises made me curious about broken bones. So has your child broken a bone? Which bone was broken? What were they doing to break it?
