Bottom cake is an 8" round 3 layer Double Chocolate Devils Food with a Salted Caramel Filling, Chocolate Buttercream Frosting and lined with Chocolate Hazelnut Pirouette Cookies. Top cake is a 6" round 2 layer Southern Strawberry Cake with a Cream Cheese Frosting and lined with French Vanilla Pirouette Cookies. Flowers are made from fondant. The only non-edible piece is the ribbon!

Submitted by @mycakeswithlove - Another princess castle with 24 cupcakes, they needed them since the cake was a rum cake and wanted the cupcakes for the kids and the castle for the grown ups. Rum cake with bc and fondant accents. NOT my best one since I had a 40 minute drive on a Florida 98 degrees day. I only had 15 minutes to spare, after the bc melted off and cracked I had to refrost the whole cake,.but I think we were able to "fix" it up a little and they were pretty happy with it.

Since the editor was so nice to write a story about our cakes I donated this to them as a Thank you :) They were all really happy with the cake ! Carved sheet cake and completely handpainted! Board is covered in actual newspaper articles with graduates :)

Submitted by @mycakeswithlove - Ok, this was a little hard, the mommy to be is a Mary Kay Consultant and wanted the products incorporated on the cake and this is what I came up with. Butter cake with fondant accents, and the little purse is a small loaf pan cake with fondant and the letters on it is the baby's initials. Also the onesie has the Mary Kay logo on it hand painted. They were so HAPPY with it, and I am so relieved.

Kids are really happy to be having cake at 8:48 at night :) CAKE: 3 Cups flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 Cup sugar 4 teaspoons baking powder 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 1/2 Cups of milk 1/2 Cup butter, melted CINNAMON Mixture: 1 Cup butter, softened 1 Cup brown sugar 2 Tablespoons flour 1 Tablespoon cinnamon GLAZE: 2 Cups powdered sugar 5 Tablespoons milk 1 Tablespoon vanilla Bake at 345 degrees for 35 minutes, use a 9x13 sheet pan/dish, put glaze over it and ENJOY, I know I am :)

This time I just added corn syrup and powder sugar to regular butter cream icing. It works great, but I need to do some tweaking. I also need to start measuring ingredients so I can share it (without saying just add it until it looks right).

Chocolate fondant with fondant cannon, gun powder barrel and shark, used piping gel for water and bought some figurines of pirates to put on the ship.
