I’ve been taking 4 hours of Spanish lessons in Antigua, Guatemala for the last 4 days now. I’ve learned a lot in this last 4 days but I still have a ton to learn. My Spanish vocabulary needs a lot of work, so I wrote this simple Python program to help me. What the program [...]

I thought that 3 nights in Caye Caulker would be more than enough as the island is very small. You can probably walk the entire island in less than 2 hours. They don’t even have cars here, just golf carts and bicycles. But I ended up staying 5 nights as I enjoyed it so much.
I originally wanted to start my trip in Guatemala. But then I noticed that airfare to Cancun is much cheaper than to Guatemala City. Since I have a very flexible schedule, I decided to just start in Cancun and take buses/ferries to Guatemala, which I’m really glad I did. This post is just a [...]

I am now officially homeless! Made it in one piece to Playa del Carmen, Mexico today. I’m staying in a hostel near 5th Avenue. Just finished taking a walk, nice breeze outside. Can’t wait to just chill out on the beach tomorrow. From here I’m planning on taking a bus to Belize, then to Guatemala. [...]
