Caldera has achieved official certification as an HP development partner for its Raster Image Processor (RIP) Certification Program supporting the new HP L65500.

Caldera was judged on an extensive set of criteria to verify the compatibility and integration of the Caldera products with the HP Designjet L65500, to provide an optimal printing performance.

Only products that have undergone testing by HP and have met the necessary performance requirements are awarded Certified for HP Designjet L65500 status.

At SGIA Atlanta Caldera will be presenting its new Business Workflow software, Flow+. The product, a mix of CRM, MIS and ERP for Business Automation and Control, is the first Workflow software which will interact directly with the RIP process.

Flow+ is a complete business workflow solution for PRINT professionals who want a tool capable of managing all information from all company departments. The Epson Stylus Pro 4880, 7880 and 9880 feature Epson's breakthrough pigment ink technology, UltraChrome K3™ ink with Vivid Magenta and improved image processing. They provide an enhanced colour gamut and superior tonal gradation, ideal for the professional in the proofing, photography, fine art and graphics markets. The Stylus Pro 11880 is the first 64'' large format printer from Epson. It includes the latest Micro Piezo Thin Film Piezo™ (TFP) printhead for superior printing performance and is optimised for pigment ink technology.

Caldera presented its Print and Print-to-Cut workflow solutions for these printers at the EPSON Graphic Congress in Warnem�nde Germany.

Drivers for these printers are available for CopyRip, CopyShop, ReproShop, VisualRip, VisualRip+ and GrandRip+ on the upcoming update. Profiles for the EPSON premium media are also available.

Caldera expands its support and training staff

Mr Talbi has a strong experience of customer support with previous positions at eBay and Apple and holds a Computer Sciences degree.
