Guitar Hero 5 makes the GH series a bit more casual by aiming it at the pick-up-and-play market but retains the crushing difficulty settings for those who really want a challenge. This CGR review of Guitar Hero 5 has gameplay from Guitar Hero 5 on Xbox 360, allowing you to play as your avatar and other famous people like Johnny Cash and Shirley Manson. This installment has a huge selection of more than 80 songs from bands like Rammstein, Duran Duran, John Couger Mellancamp, Bon Jovi, Muse, Coldplay, David Bowie and Queen. Play with the guitar or full band including drums, mic and bass. You can even use the older Guitar Hero III guitar if you so choose, so you don’t have to buy a new one if you’ve already got the older GH3 set. Earn Xbox 360 achievement points and rock out with new venues, new characters and some amazing music. The majority of the musical tracks are studio recordings and sound great.
