The Cornerstone Singers will be ministering in music, testimony, and the Word on Sunday evening, April 29, at 6:00.
The singers are student of Cornerstone Bible Institute located here in Hot Springs. It is an independent – Bible believing school that holds to the belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that its central theme is Jesus Christ. MOPS is a place to find friendship, community, resources and support for you as a woman and mother so you’re not alone. Join other mothers with young children to discuss relevant topics and learn important skills for motherhood. Childcare is provided and there is no cost. ]]>Our missionary conference will be highlighted with our own missionary family Jon and Denielle Johnson. Jon, Denielle and their two children, ElliAnna and Carter just completed their first term serving in the country of Brazil. Along with the teaching from the Word, the Johnson’s will be sharing the Lord’s work both in their personal lives and in the work.
The emphasis for our time together will be The Gospel Ministry at Home and Abroad, focusing on God’s commission and pattern for the church to reproduce itself both on the foreign field and at home. The ministry of the gospel is the ministry to which all of God’s people is called. Join us with your heart prepared for what the Lord has for you and for Calvary.
Come celebrate the great gospel declaration, “It Is Finished!” The program of God set forth before the foundation of the world that He would redeem to Himself a people found its completion in Jesus Christ. “It is finished” confesses the satisfaction of God’s wrath and the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice, proclaimed in His resurrection. “It is finished” anticipates an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven. “It is finished” ensures a living hope in Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, we love; in whom, though now we see Him not, yet believing, we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: receiving the end of our faith, the salvation of our souls.
Responding to the question, “For what are you thankful?” one of our ladies at the Pine Hills Retirement Community responded, “I am thankful for the young lady who introduced me to Jesus when I was 18 years old.” She just celebrated her 93rd birthday. Think about it. For 75 years this sister in Christ walked with Jesus in this world and will continue to do so for all eternity simply because someone made an introduction.

Programs, activities, and filled calendars provide “structures” through which ministry might be carried out but they do not necessarily mean that ministry actually takes place. These “structures” are important and often necessary in the function of a local assembly but again, “structures” do not generate ministry.Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. (Hebrews 2:17-18)

In AWANA Clubs, each child works at his or her own pace toward specific goals. Achievement of each goal earns the child a patch or pin to display on their AWANA vest. The children love this exciting atmosphere, and parents love seeing their kids learn the Bible and grow in their faith!
