<li>Work closely with sales team to support growth of the Personal Care business</li>
<li>Continuous evaluation of the existing product portfolio and development of product diversification strategies that address current and future product needs relative to trends, market analysis and customer requirements. Duties include the evaluation of suppliers capable of meeting these needs and acquiring new product lines</li>
<li>Continuous  enhancement of the company&#8217;s technical understanding of its current product offering and competitive offerings in the market.</li>

<li>Technical presentations to customers</li>

<p><strong>Requirements: </strong>This is a technical position, so person must have technical experience (in the lab) working with personal care products. Technical degree required.</p>
<p>The role is also commercial, the person should also have had some commercial responsibilities—sales, marketing, technical service, presentations, etc. MBA preferred</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client, a flavor and fragrance ingredient leader, is expanding and is looking for a Business/Market Development professional to focus on the Flavor segment.  This person will be responsible for the development of the Sales &amp; Marketing plan to achieve the performance objectives for Flavor Ingredients which includes but is not limited to; understanding and identifying technical and commercial changes in the market/competitive activity, recommend appropriate changes based on appropriate market and customer insights, identification and commercialization of new product and/or market opportunities.</p>
<p>REQUIREMENTS:</p>
<ul>
<li>Degree, although technical degree (chemistry, chemical engineering, or food science) is PREFERRED</li>
<li>5+ years sales/marketing experience preferably in the food ingredient or related industry</li>
<li>Understanding of global market dynamics</li>
<li>Understanding of food/flavor applications</li>
</ul>
<p>Position can base anywhere in the US, about 40% travel.</p>
