Position Description: We are looking for the best of the best to hire as summer camp counselors at KDFWR's Camp John Currie! Camp Currie is located on the shoreline of Kentucky Lake in Marshall County, Ky. We employ 21 camp counselors who will spend the summer teaching outdoor pursuits such as firearm safety, archery, swimming, nature & outdoor survival, fishing and boating. Staff work closely with 4th-6th graders as they learn, play and enjoy the outdoors together. We look for mature, fun-loving, outgoing individuals who love spending time outdoors and who will enjoy sharing that experience with 10-13 yr olds. Folks from various majors have benefitted and gained from the experience as a step toward their desired career and/or as a foot in the door working with KDFWR. Camp Currie is an overnight camp with staff generally working Monday morning through Friday afternoon. The pay rate is $7.66/hr with room and board also provided during the week. Housing and meals in camp are not available on the weekends. Staff training begins on May 22, 2017. Our first week with campers begins on June 5th and the last full week of campers ends on August 4 with an additional weekend group from August 11-13.

Scribes are active and valuable members of their healthcare teams, providing real-time charting for physicians by shadowing them throughout their shifts and performing a variety of helpful tasks. As a scribe, you’ll gain rare clinical experiences that help you grow as a person and as a professional. Common duties include:

Preparing plans for follow-up care

Full-time scribes are expected to be available to work between 30 - 40 hours per week, while part-time scribes are expected to be available to work between 18 – 30 hours per week. Shifts are generally 8-10 hours long, but this may vary depending upon location.

My name is Buddy Hocutt, Assistant Director of the Greensboro Fellows. The Greensboro Fellows is a Christian spiritual and professional development program for recent college graduates organized by Church of the Redeemer in Greensboro, NC.

A member of the nationwide Fellows Initiative, our 10-month program provides recent graduates time and space to explore their faith, their vocation, and the Lord's calling on their life. During the program year, Fellows, participate in an internship in their field of interest, take 4 seminary-level classes, volunteer in nonprofit organizations throughout the city, and worship together in intentional community. In addition, Greensboro Fellows complete a leadership training module with the Center for Creative Leadership, attend lectures and networking events with local business leaders, and cap the year with a 2-week worship and mission trip to our sister church in Rwanda.

As we approach our fifth year, the Greensboro Fellows continues to grow. It is our goal to blanket the city of Greensboro and the world with thoughtful, faithful, and engaged young people devoted to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To do so, we need more Fellows. For the 2016-2017 program (beginning in September), we are looking for one female and two male fellows. Currently, opportunities are available in the following areas:
