What To Get: Rv Camping Equipment For Sale

It seems like every year holds a whole new crop of RV Camping Equipment for salein store. Whether it is a new-fangled gizmo to play your .mp3 player on the RV's build in stereo, or a new take on a golden oldy, like a flourescent camping lamp, this article has the essentials of what you need to get to outfit yourself with the best RV camping equipment for sale.

The first step in determining what sort of RV camping equipment for sale you are going to need is to determine what sort of camping you are going to do. If you are headed deep into the backwoods or well off the beaten path, then you might consider a solar panel system to charge your RV. This way, you can prolong the life of your batteries-and TV watching. Another thing that might be of use to serious campers is an RV water purification system. These come in various types and sizes, and handle various amounts of water.

Whatever your particular RVing passion, there is a list of RV camping equipment for sale that pretty much everyone can enjoy:

1. Satellite TV for your RV. You know the deal: your team made the playoffs and the semifinal is the first night of your trip to the lake. What do you do, go find a sports bar? Wrong: you watch it on the big screen in your home away from home with a Satellite Dish for your RV.
2. LED outdoor lights. The vast improvement in the efficiency of lighting make these little babies one of the best bits of RV camping equipment for sale.
3. A propane stove for cook-outs. While your RV might have a deluxe oven inside, no RV vacation is complete without fiddling around with a Coleman style gas stove. It works well with cast iron skillets and waffle irons to make the perfect, greasy, high-mountain breakfast.
4. An awning. If your RV didn't come with an awning, there are few things that will so greatly improve your trip as getting one. Another RV camping equipment for sale, because no one wants to get cooked by the sun when they're on vacation.
5. GPS system. It's a given that no one wants to get lost on vacations. But it's also true that it will happen unless you take steps to prevent it. Save yourself the trouble of having to stop and ask directions by adding a GPS system to your wish-list of RV camping equipment for sale.

By getting the right equipment, your vacation will be ten times the fun. The list above will help anyone out, but for specific locations, such as the beach or a ski resort, you will need specific things. Do some research to make sure that you've got all that's necessary.

Soccer Fans Pitch Tents At World Cup

FRANKFURT, GERMANY - Kevin Neale pitched his Union Jack-decorated tent on the outskirts of Germany's financial capital, opting to pay less than $9 a night instead of the hundreds being sought by the city's hotels.

Auto worker Dean Doc and six friends pooled their money to rent an RV - kitchen included - for eight days in order to follow England at the World Cup.

"It's a good price," the 41-year-old from Birmingham said as his crew readied to drive to Nuremberg for England's game Thursday against Trinidad & Tobago. "The seats exchange into beds and it comfortably sleeps seven."

For a total of about $1,800 for a week, plus gas and food, they figure they're spending around $400 each to experience the World Cup without sacrificing the satisfaction of a comfortable bed and hot food.

They're not alone. Thousands of fans from England to Poland are making like members of the NASCAR nation, loading up rental vans, recreational vehicles or camping trailers to follow their teams during the monthlong tournament.

Most said it was a strategy to save money. After all, in Frankfurt, two nights in a hotel can cost more than $1,000. Fans can find cheaper digs, but they'll have to travel nearly 30 miles outside the city where a two-night stay at the Tryp Frankfurt Langenselbod will set them back about $80.

"It's too expensive," said Johnny Maloney of Portsmouth, another World Cup camper. "We just set up a tent anywhere we go."

In Germany, RV parks and camp grounds are plentiful, and it's common to see them filled on weekends. Reservations are mandatory during major events such as the World Cup, though tents still get set up just outside the grounds at no cost.

"The facilities are fantastic," said Kevin Neale, a Londoner experiencing budget travel with three friends after going the high-class route for last month's Cannes Film Festival. "I've stayed in the best hotels in Cannes but I was dubious about coming to Germany and camping."

His outlook brightened when he saw the availability of showers, easy access to trains and the campsite camaraderie. The cost helped, too.

"We've all pitched in and helped out and created our own community," said Neale, who watches the games at nearby bars where the beer is inexpensive.

His group will travel to Munich on Tuesday, and then to Nuremberg in time for England's game on Thursday.

"We're camping out there, too," he said.

For Doc and his six traveling companions, it was just a matter of renting the RV and taking the ferry to France. From there they drove through the Netherlands and into Germany.

Maloney began researching the cost of hotels and quickly decided on a more economical route. So he packed up an old Vauxhall Cavalier, painted on the St. George cross and threw in tents for the journey.

"We've tented outside and the people are the best that I've ever met," he said.

There is at least one other advantage.

"The beer is cheaper outside of the city limits," said Maloney, who also bellies up to the bar when he wants to watch the games. "It can cost up to $31 a round (in the city) and that's a lot of money when you're drinking 16 hours a day!"

Finding The Best Rv Camping Stores

Now that RV camping stores are such a huge industry, many companies are getting into the game for a quick profit without much concern about providing a quality product or good customer service. Because of this, buyers need to be extra wary when going to RV camping stores that they are unfamiliar with. There are a few simple steps you can take to protect yourself from being taken in by a less than stellar RV camping equipment vendor and protect yourself from loss of time and money. In the end, a little be of caution goes a long way.

The first thing to consider is what sort of store you are dealing with. If you are dealing with a store with a physical location, especially a store that is a large national brand, you can rest fairly assured that you are more or less covered according to what the stores claims. All that said, whichever of the national RV camping stores, make sure you read the fine print on the product return policies and the like, because you cannot expect to be handed any favors-especially by a large national chain. RV camping stores that are small Mom and Pop operations will be more likely to make an exception for you, if you are a loyal customer that they recognize, than massive chains. The Mom and Pops know you are necessary for their continued business, so they will try to make sure that you keep coming back for more. On the other hand, small independents may or may not be customer service oriented. Trial and error is the only way to find out.

With the rise of e-commerce, online retailers have taken off, and the RV camping stores that have set up internet store-fronts are no exception. You can shop for camping supplies for your RV all day, seven days a week. This of course means that you don't get the pleasure of browsing aisles and picking things up with your hands, and that you will also have to wait for your package to be delivered in the mail-and likely have to pay for that delivery-but it also can mean that you save a certain percentage over the cost of the same item at a retail location. The bad thing about internet retailers is that you do not get to walk out of the establishment with your purchase. Dealing with RV camping stores that are solely online ventures and that are also unscrupulous about selling faulty merchandise can be a real pain in the neck.

So what is one to do when he is deciding where to go out of the RV camping stores available to him? Well, the first thing to do is shop around all the real stores in you area. If you find a small independent or a chain location where the staff is very polite, knowledgeable and helpful, then think about purchasing your goods there.

Rv Recreation Vehicles: What Everyone Should Know

RV Recreation Vehicles are becoming more and more common in the USA. Perhaps you're thinking about getting one for yourself, in hopes of taking trips to the lake or the beach on weekends. Or maybe you are thinking about becoming one of the modern world's nomads, putting all your belongings into an RV and going off on the open road for years on end. Whatever your goal, choosing the right type from all the RV Recreation vehicles available can be a difficult thing if you don't know what you are looking for.

The first thing that everyone should know about RV recreation vehicles is the classes they are broken down into. There are three general types of RVs: A, B, and C. Each suits a different sort of use, and each type tends to cost a bit more or less than the others.

Class A RV recreation vehicles are the royalty of the RV world. They are large, offer the most storage space and luxury, and can be quite finicky about who they let service them. They are the "boxish" looking RVs, the ones with the cab as an extension of the living quarters. These are the upper end of RVs, and available models can be quite comfortable. The downside to luxury is the difficulty of maneuvering the large A class through traffic, and some camp grounds do not have the infrastructure-the road design-for class A RVs.

Class B RV recreation vehicles are vans that have been converted to be an RV. They are the smallest class of RVs, and also in general the most affordable. They offer the least amount of space, but are far easier to drive around than a Class A RV. Because of their relative ease of use and affordability, Class B RVs can be very popular.

Class C RV recreation vehicles are the middle ground between Class A and Class B. They are built from a modified truck or van chassis, and have the tell-tale sleeper protruding over the cab. Class C RVs are a good choice if you want more room than a Class B, but are not comfortable driving around a Class A. They are the choice that is a compromise between the pros and cons of the other two classes, and the price for them tends to range between upper market Class Bs to lower Market Class As.

If you decide that you are going to buy an RV, make a quick list of the things that you want to get out of yours. Rank your list in order of priority. Is it more important to you to have lots of extra space than driving ease? Do you want better fuel economy and carefree driving? What is your price range? Once you are more sure of what you want you are better equipped to make the right decision when you buy your own RV.

Rv Camping Supplies Will Make Your Trip Enjoyable

Going on your camping trip in a RV is one of the most comfortable ways to travel, but you will need some RV camping supplies to make the camping adventure both fun and successful. One of the great things about camping with a RV is that you have plenty of room to store and transport RV camping supplies. You won't have to leave behind your fishing poles, dutch ovens, portable grills, hammocks, camp chairs, and other fun camping supplies. Be sure to stock your RV with the right camping supplies before you leave so that your trip can be the best possible.

A great way to prepare for a RV camping trip is to create a camping supplies checklist. This way, you can be sure not to leave behind any essential RV camping supplies. Your RV camping supply checklist can be divided up into categories, and include emergency gear, camp cooking equipment, outdoor recreation equipment, and other camping supplies.

Many RV camping supplies are designed to make your stay at the campsite more comfortable and enjoyable. A RV awning is a helpful addition to your RV, especially when camping during hot and sunny months. The shade of the awning provides a great gathering place for lounging in camp chairs, an and it also provides a protected place to prepare food, especially if it is raining. RV window covers are another useful accessory for your camping trip during hot months, allowing the interior of your RV to stay cool and livable.

RV camping supplies can easily be found online, and web sites allow you to browse a wide range of products in order to find exactly what will be right for you and your camping RV. Discount RV camping supplies can be found, and shopping and price comparison through online web sites can easily be done from your own home computer.

When at the campground in your RV, it is important to be considerate of your neighbors and follow a few campground guidelines. The campground is a public space that you are sharing with others, and keeping a few things in mind can make the stay pleasant for everyone. For example, try not to run your RV generator at night that may create noise and bother your camping neighbors. It is also impolite to use the campground's water supply to fill up your RV tank. Other simple campground rules to follow include keeping noise levels down after the quiet hour, not leaving trash out or food out that can attract animals, not building fires too close to other camper's tents, and not letting your children or pets run loose around the campgrounds.

How To Get More From Your Rv Camping Pics

You know the drill: each year you get the whole family together and head off for the mountains for the weeklong camping trip, you go kayaking, you roast weiners over an open fire, you go on several nature trips, you fill up your digital camera full of shots of this and other RV camping pics. Or, you go to the beach and do the same thing, or off to the dunes for ATVing. Wherever you go, you get a whole slew of digital files of your RV camping pics, and now you want to know what do with them. What is the best way to deal with all the pictures you collect?

The very first thing you need to do is pare down the number of images you have. While the huge increase in memory size of digital cameras has allowed people to take literally thousands of images in a single day, having thousands upon thousands of RV camping pics from a single trip is really a bit of overkill. You will need to sift through the mass of them to selectively choose the ones that are the best. This is good, though, since taking a whole slew of photos will improve your ability to frame images and the like. Once you have a more manageable number of images you will be able to proceed to choosing what you want to do with the files you have.

Once you have gotten rid of your excess RV camping pics, you can make a decision about what to do with them. If you are going to use them to make a printed album, there are several ways for you to proceed. If you have a photo printer at home you can print them out yourself and then put them into an album. If not, there are internet photo printing options, as well as machines at places like Walmart and Target which will print out your files, for a fee. Once you get these you can do with them what you will.

Of course, a physical printed photo album is only one thing that many people do with their digital files. You can also use your RV camping pics to make a digital photo presentation that you burn onto CDs and send out to everyone who came RVing with you. This can be a very efficient way to consolidate the space taken up by printed photos, as literally thousands of digital photo albums will fit on the space required for a single physical album.

If you decide not to do any of the above options, you can also use an online service such as Flickr to share your RV camping pics. Then all you need to do is send your friends and family the address of your Flickr page, and they can access your photos, grouped as you like, from any computer with internet access.

Getting The Most Out Of Recreation Vehicles

Recreation Vehicles, or RVs, are climbing in popularity in the United States, for good reason. When you have your own RV, you have a movable home that you can take anywhere you want to go: to the lake, on a cross country sightseeing tour, or to the beach for a month. But some things about RVs can be counterintuitive or less than obvious. So, there are a few things that everyone should know so that they can get the most out of recreation vehicles and use them without having any problems.

The first thing to know about recreation vehicles is fire prevention. You are probably familiar with the stories about vacation turned to nightmares by an RV fire. Always keep your recreation vehicle in good shape, with regular tune-ups and fluid changes. Also, keep an eye out for any fluids leaking from the motor or the body of the RV. If you see anything suspicious, get it checked out. Finally, be alert when driving. If you notice a sudden change in the RV's performance, then stop and see if anything is wrong.

RVing can be even more fun when you add in a few time-saving appliances. Many recreation vehicles come equipped with a basic kitchen and perhaps a television and VCR or DVD player, but there are loads of other things you can add if you think your trip would benefit from them. If you can't stand to miss a single game, there are satellite dishes that can be installed to the roof of your RV to keep you connected. Likewise, while many might scoff at the idea of adding a washing machine to their RV, no one would line up to spend time washing clothes in a laundromat. The time you save might justify the investment. There are many such appliances for recreation vehicles that you can look into.

Finally, when you are packing your recreation vehicles, keep in mind your destination. It's no fun to be on a two week trip and have only clothes for a weekend. This might seem like an obvious example, but extrapolate from it: if you are going to be gone for several weeks, make sure the RV is well stocked. On the other hand, if you are just going for a quick trip, there is no need to load and unload a ton of supplies. Keep your packing appropriate.

These are just a few simple steps that anyone can take to get the most out of their RVing trip. The specific requirements of your own trip will determine what else you, in particular, have to do.
Making The Most Of Rv Camping In Northern California

The scenic coastal coves of Northern California with their diverse marine life, the towering forests of sequoia and redwood trees, the historic old centers for mining and government-there are many things to see while RV camping in Northern California. But sometimes the difference between the trip of a lifetime and a world of headaches is as simple as choosing the right spot for your RV, so this guide outlines a few of the best places to visit and avoid while RV camping in Northern California.

Perhaps the most spectacular trees in the world, the sequoias are found in select areas of Northern California. They can be some of the best things to see while RV camping in Northern California, but not all campgrounds are as RV friendly as others, and some are better suited to specific types of Rvs. Whenever you are booking ahead, make sure to ask for specific details about hook-up capabilities and ease of access, especially if you have special requirements or an especially large RV. An awe of nature will quickly turn to frustration if your campground is stuck in the middle of a stand of redwoods and the road is too tight for your RV to get through. Some of the better places to see the big trees while RV camping in Northern California are Sequoia National Park and Redwood National Park.

California is known as the Sunshine State, and what better way to enjoy the sunshine than on the beach? Highlights include Fort Bragg's Beach and Half Moon Bay. Some of the best beaches for RV camping in Northern California, including the two listed here, fill up rapidly during the summer months-sometimes with several weeks of reservations booked solid. So make sure to book in advance to avoid any let downs when you get to the campground.

Another area that attracts many people to RV camping in Northern California are the old ghost towns, such as Bodie. Because of the rapid rise and fall of the California gold rush, many such towns erupted into existence and then evaporated under the desert sun after the gold dried up, leaving the husks of their buildings. Remember to get your AC checked if you are going in the summer, and try to drive before the sun is at its hottest to spare your vehicle's engine an overly stressful drive.

Finally, many people are interested in seeing the historic state capitol of Sacramento, but not interested in staying in or paying for a cramped hotel room within the city. RV camping in one of the cities campgrounds, or outside the city limits, can be a good solution. But remember to check the schedule of the monuments over your stay before you leave. Erratically scheduled and carried out renovations can leave you with an unpleasant surprise on arriving to the city.

A Michigan Treasure: Muskallonge Lake Campground

For some Midwesterners, no summer is complete without a trip through Michigan. This vastly under-appreciated state possesses a great deal of natural beauty along with a number of interesting attractions. So, if you're tempted to vacation in Michigan this summer, you might want to begin with a stay at the Muskallonge Lake campground.

The Muskallonge Lake campground is a 217-acre park nestled between the shores of Lake Superior and the Muskallonge Lake. Its location is 28 miles northwest of Newberry in Luce County, making it convenient to get to. The Muskallonge Lake campground is also renowned for its stunning scenery, thanks to its towering forests, glistening lakes, and sparkling streams.

What is also fascinating about Muskallonge Lake campground is its storied history. It was the one-time site of Deer Park, an area known for its lumber trade in the late 19th century. Before commerce began in the area, Deer Park was home to an Indian camp. It also came to house the Coast Guard Life Saving Station.

Muskallonge Lake campground offers a number of recreational activities suitable for the entire family. These include swimming, playground activities, and boating. Fishing is also a favorite preoccupation at Muskallonge Lake campground, thanks to the lake's ready supply of walleye, perch, small-mouth bass, northern pike, and of course, muskallonge. Meanwhile, in Lake Superior, anglers can take advantage of copious amounts of trout and salmon-long-time favorites among fish-eaters. Hiking and snowmobiling are also favorite pastimes among those who visit Muskallonge Lake campground.

If you love waterways, Muskallonge Lake campground is certainly the place to be. Within a convenient 20-mile radius of the site, you'll find some 70 lakes and five rivers. If you're a history-lover, you'll be captivated by trips to nearby historic forts and the Father Marquette National Memorial and Museum. You can also drive to nearby Tahquamenon Falls State Park to enjoy the view of magnificent waterfalls and scenic Whitefish Point. To the south, you can enjoy the Kingston Plains and the Seney National Wildlife Refuge.

The park is also a perfect spot for hunters, thanks to the duck and goose hunting which are offered on nearby lakes. As a result, outdoorsmen have come to adore this Michigan landmark. But you don't have to be a highly active person to appreciate the campground. Just sitting quietly at the campground, communing with nature, can be a worthwhile experience. Because of its family-oriented nature, the camping site is likely to please all the members of your brood. They'll come to appreciate that you don't need bright lights and the allures of the big city to be happy. All that may be necessary is a peaceful night gazing up at the stars.

Better Than Hollywood: California Campgrounds Offer You The Star Treatment

Sure, California is known for its Walk of Fame, Hollywood sign, and other symbols of the movie industry. But you can actually enjoy amenities fit for a star at various California campgrounds. The West Coast state features an amazing variety of different camping sites. In addition to the traditional fare, California campgrounds can also offer you some unforgettable experiences. They're picture-perfect moments that will flood your memory for years-if not decades-to come. And they're moments you'll want to share with those closest to you-your spouse, children, siblings, parents, and best friends.

California campgrounds include something known as the ambiance park. This term refers to an RV park, campground, or resort area that is in a specialized location. To qualify as ambiance parks, California campgrounds must feature truly unique environments, high physical quality, and award-winning service.

Among the California campgrounds to qualify as an ambiance park is Snug Harbor, which is located in a historic area of the California Delta. In recent years, the park has enjoyed a number of significant improvements. In fact, it was named "Best Small Park" in 2001 by the California Travel Park Association. As a result, it's an obvious destination for those who enjoy staying at cozy campsites.

Another one of the myriad of California campgrounds worth exploring is Lake Tulloch in the Sierra Foothills. This park features more than 55 incredible miles of shoreline. It's also known for some of the finest water skiing anywhere. At Lake Tulloch, you'll enjoy lakefront cabins with your own dock, along with electrical, water, and sewer service. The park site also features a general store, marina, restaurant, and laundry facilities. As a result, it's one of those California campgrounds that you'll want to return to numerous times.

One of the many advantages of staying at California campgrounds is that you're frequently adjacent to some marvelous attractions. For instance, while staying at a Sunshine State campground near the city of Blythe, you can explore a town named for a renowned San Francisco developer and financier, Thomas Blythe. It's also quite a safe location, since it's considered to be one of the most "seismically stable" cities on the West Coast. In fact, there hasn't been an earthquake in Blythe for more than half a billion years.

With all of its big city attractions such as theaters and museums, California is often overlooked as a camping destination. Yet, it's a state which is incredibly accommodating to campers. Given its rich scenery, the West Coast state is a natural destination for RVers and other fans of the great American outdoors.

A Campground Membership Could Be An Important Investment In Your Future

Whether you're an avid camper or just someone who is toying with the idea of camping for the first time, you might be wondering if a campground membership would be appropriate for you. After all, a campground membership does require an investment of both money and time. Therefore, you may be trying to figure out whether it is worth the effort. Let's examine the issue in greater depth.

First of all, you might wonder whether a campground membership is really necessary, given the fact that there are plenty of state, county, and federal parks around. While that is true, these recreational facilities are tax-funded--and a shortage of funding could mean fewer services at your favorite campsites. In addition, you need to make a reservation to stay at a government campground-and that reservation could require as much as a year's advance notice. Also, the conditions at government camping sites can be chaotic, since the campers they attract may hold beer bashes, loud parties, and engage in other distractions.

Because of government budget cuts, many government campgrounds have a shortage of rangers and security officers. As a result, there's a danger you may have to contend with crimes such as robberies, assaults, or even rapes at public camp sites. A private campground membership might save you some of these problems.

Of course, there's always the option of buying a camp site or recreational lot. However, that can be quite expensive-as much as $5,000. In addition to that initial expense, you'll also have to pay for electrical service, sewer service, and well water. Add to that taxes, maintenance fees, and insurance costs, and you may have to invest several thousand extra dollars in your lot. As a result, a campground membership may appear to be an attractive, less expensive alternative.

In general, a private campground membership is more feasible than public camping for a variety of reasons. For instance, private campgrounds are generally safer, since private security is on duty and the campers there tend to look out for one another. In contrast, public camping can be more dangerous, since such sites often lack adequate security and the campers tend to be less willing to act as neighborhood watchdogs. You can also save money with a private campground membership, given the fact that the cost of staying at a private resort may be just eight dollars a night, as opposed to as much as $50 a night at a public site. The overall quality of private resorts may also be superior to the facilities available at public campgrounds. And, of course, a private campground membership can lead to all sorts of amenities, including access to a club house, rec rooms, and restaurants.

Yellowstone Rv Camping: Seeing It All

Each summer hundreds of thousands of people flock to see the natural wonders contained within Yellowstone National Park. Sites such as Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, Fort Yellowstone, and Roosevelt Tower bring people from around the world. If you are considering a visit to Yellowstone, and all it has to offer, why not consider bringing your RV. Yellowstone RV camping is quite an experience and numerous options are available to allow you to get the most out of both your RV and the park.

Some of the areas of Yellowstone are truly wild, the backcountry. You might find some of it interesting to visit, after setting your RV up at a base camp and then trekking out. Yellowstone RV camping can also be a more affordable way to see the park than staying in the area's hotels, since they get quite expensive during the summer months.

There are eleven campgrounds inside Yellowstone park. If you are going to try to stay at one of them, it is recommended you contact the company that administrates them, Xanterra, to set up a reservation. Nothing can frustrate a Yellowstone RV camping trip more than looking for a site at five or six campgrounds before finding one. Contact the campgrounds in advance especially if your RV is over 30' long, since only a few of them have spaces in place for RVs of that size. Accomodations and hookups vary from campground to campground within Yellowstone, some of the having showers and toilets, dumping facilities, etc, and some having nothing whatsoever.

If you elect not do your Yellowstone RV camping within the park itself, there are several other options available to you. These range in distance from very close to the park's entrance to around 30 - 40 miles outside of it. The closest are Rocky Mountain Campground, Yellowstone RV Park, and Eagle Creek. These, like the park, can be quite busy during the summer, so if you are planning a visit make sure to make reservations, or you will have to work your way out in ever further circles to find a place to stay.

When Yellowstone RV camping, there are some things that you need to keep in mind. If you go out on any long outings, be sure not to drink any unpurified water, as giardia is increasing in the streams and waterways throughout the park. Unfortunately, the crisp clear mountain streams are not so clean as the appear. Also, stick to designated paths, as there are areas where scalding water runs just below the surface of the earth. People who are Yellowstone RV camping should also be wary of bears. Do as the park officials advise and do not feed wild animals. Feeding them only puts you at risk and makes them more aggressive, which will eventually lead to their deaths.

Campgrounds For Sale: The Ultimate Recreational Business Adventure

You drive through a state that's become a favorite vacation destination and you suddenly see signs advertising campgrounds for sale. You're intrigued, but a little apprehensive. After all, what do you know about running campgrounds? How can you ensure that those campgrounds for sale that you have your eye on are not a potential money pit? And, in a year or two, could you find that the campgrounds for sale are up for re-sale-all because you couldn't turn a profit?

The fact is, campgrounds for sale offer a tremendous business opportunity. But, in order to take full advantage of that opportunity, you must be prepared to devote a great deal of attention to your investment. In other words, you can't buy a campground and then expect someone else to run it without your input. Campgrounds for sale are the type of investment that requires a considerable amount of time and effort on your part.

If you're in the market for campgrounds for sale, you might first want to check out the sites offered by KOA. KOA is a leading name in camp site sales and has been in business for more than four decades. KOA franchises offer a wide array of RV parks and campgrounds for sale. In other words, chances are you can find a KOA site that fits into your budget and your vision of what a campground should be. KOA also offers a number of buyers' workshops around the country which can help to prepare you for owning your first camping site.

In order to buy a KOA camping franchise, you'll need a minimum of $200,000 cash. The campsites can even run up to several million dollars, depending on the size of the campground and its location. You'll have to have enough money to pay the down payment, which is generally 20 to 30 percent of the purchase price. You'll also need to pay a franchise transfer fee, along with closing costs for the sale. Since KOA does not provide financing, you'll need to obtain your financing through a bank.

The good news is that KOA does not require previous campground experience for a potential campground owner. In fact, you don't even need prior business ownership experience. Still, to be a successful franchisee, you'll need to have a good credit rating, sufficient financial resources, and a strong commitment to becoming the best campsite owner you can be.
In the end, how much money you earn as a franchisee will depend on a number of factors, including the campsite's location, size, operating costs, and your own business acumen.

Interested In A Campground For Sale? What You Should Know Before You Buy

If you see a campground for sale, you might be sorely tempted to invest. After all, camping represents outdoor adventure, family tradition, and enjoyable recreational opportunities. But a campground for sale can also be a serious liability, if you don't know what you're doing. Consider this your guide for turning a campground for sale into an amazing business experience for your family.

Let's say you've seen a sign reading "campground for sale" and you're seriously interested. What should be your first step? To begin with, you should have some understanding of what the business will entail. For instance, be aware of the fact that running a campground can be a full-time business. If you have doubts, talk to a few campground proprietors. Chances are you'll quickly learn that owning a campground is not necessarily non-stop fun. It can also require a tremendous amount of work on your part.

You should also make a realistic assessment of your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to turning that campground for sale into a viable operation. If you're good with budgets, have a great deal of flexibility, and have the ability to think creatively, that campground for sale may be just what you need to jump-start your business career.

When purchasing a campground, it's important that you take location into consideration. For instance, while being near an amusement park might be considered an advantage, such a location also means that you'll face a great deal of competition for business. Similarly, being situated near a waterway may bring customers to your site, but it can also be a headache if flooding should occur.

Also, you should be aware of the fact that when you purchase a campground, you are not only buying the land, but also the on-site buildings, equipment, and the computer software responsible for the registration program. You should also check with an accountant in order to ascertain the potential profitability of the site. After you've determined the expenses associated with owning the camp site, you can figure out what would be a reasonable offer to make to the seller. Potential expenses include such things as advertising, repairs, taxes, utilities, and banking fees. In order to make an offer, you'll also need the support of a banker willing to finance the venture.

In the end, owning a campground is much like running any other type of small business. It requires a great deal of planning, an eye for detail, and a willingness to work hard. However, if you follow a well-crafted business plan, you can turn a campground into a successful business venture-one you can pass onto your children.

Jumping Fish Seriously Injured Woman

...A St. Petersburg woman suffered serious injuries when she was hit by what authorities believe was a jumping sturgeon.

A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokeswoman says Sharon Touchton had been camping with a group of friends along the Suwannee River on March 31st . The group had been heading north on the river when Touchton's husband saw that she had fallen off her personal watercraft and was floating face-down. No one had seen what happened ... When she regained consciousness, she told investigators something about a "big fish." Sturgeon can grow up to 8 feet long and up to 200 pounds. The FWC spokeswoman says problems with sturgeon came to a head last year when 10 people were injured in accidents caused by the jumping fish....

Breaking Away By Rv Camping

As professional life becomes more and more demanding, and the kids are placed under ever more strain at school, it becomes increasingly necessary to have a good vacation. And there is little activity more relaxing than spending a weekend or a week off with the majesty of mother nature RV camping. What is RV camping, and what is the best way to ensure you have a good time doing it? The following article tells you a bit about the best ways to take in the great outdoors with an RV.

The first thing to know about RV camping is what RV means. RV stands for recreational vehicle, which translates into plain english as pretty much anything that has wheels and is used for having fun: no matter how big, whether it is a pint sized 20 footer or a monstrous motorhome, anything that is a mobile home base for camping is an RV.

If you are considering going RV camping, you need to decide what sort of trip you want to have. Do you want a quick weekend excursion to the river, or are you looking for a month-long trek across the nation touring as much splendor as you can? Whichever type of get away you choose, there is a type of RV to suit your needs. The best way to find which one is for you is to choose a specific sort of trip you will be taking most often and do some research on it.

When you do decide to get your RV for RV Camping, have the general model in mind when you go shopping, but don't be too specific. You will want to get inside several different RVs and get a feel for the one that is right for you. Play around with all the amenities that RVs offer. Flick light switches, check cabinets. If you are not certain about which RV is best for you, consider taking one for a "test drive" by renting the model for a weekend. There is no better way to get to know how an RV works than by seeing for yourself. When you find one that suits you, both in its model and character, then you are ready for the next step: planning your trip.

When you are finally ready to pack for your RV camping trip, remember to pack appropriately. If you are going for a couple of days on the lake and really want to make use of your RV's DVD player, remember you are only staying for a couple of days: so you don't need to bring your entire video library. Remember RVs are about having fun, and over cluttering them so they become crowded makes the less recreational than in need of organizing. Nothing recalls the daily grind like having to multi-task in order to have fun.

A World Of Possibilities: Blue Ridge Rv Camping

Travelling the Blue Ridge Mountains in the southern United States will continually surprise you as you cruise past first a folk arts fair, then a museum to Appalachian culture, then a breath-taking shimmering lake. Stretching all the way from Pennsylvania to Georgia, the mountains are a world of possibilities, and Blue Ridge RV camping is one of the best ways to see them. You can travel about in the comfort of your own place, at your one pace, and stay near to the things you want to see. And some of the attractions of the Blue Ridge area are uniquely suited to RVing.

One of the fastest growing business and attractions within the Blue Ridge region is wine-making. While California may still be the viticultural behemoth of the United States, the east coast wine industries is its plucky younger brother who boasts more than a few surprises. Blue Ridge RV camping can be an excellent way to tour the wineries of the region, as you can set up camp and then head out to see what the local area offers. After you've sipped all that one area has to offer, picking up and heading to the next spot is as easy as turning turning your key in the ignition.

Blue Ridge RV camping isn't restricted to wine touring, however. Many people who head to the mountains have something else in mind completely: a bit of blue-grass music! Mountain music sites abound throughout the Appalachian range, and those taking a Blue Ridge RV camping trip will not be disappointed by the range available to them. A bit of research before your trip will pay off, however, as many of the best acts and venues are small time and not easily booked too far in advance. Some of the best places to see blue grass musicians are in fact local coffee houses such as the Purple Fiddle in Thomas, West Virginia. Give places near your itinerary a ring and see what acts are scheduled during your stay.

Blue Ridge RV Camping is also one of the best ways to have an outdoor adventure. You can travel with your RV through some of the most beautiful landscapes in North America on your way to an exciting white water rafting or a relaxing fishing trip. White water rafting attracts many people to the Blue Ridge Mountains each year, and for thrill seekers it is a hard thing to beat. For the more subdued, there are numerous creeks, rivers, ponds and lakes that are home to hundreds of thousands if not millions of fish all waiting for a chance at your bait during your next Blue Ridge RV Camping trip. Be sure to make reservations for rafting trips, as growing popularity in recent years makes reservations essential.

Michigan State Forest Campgrounds: A Better Way To Spend A Vacation

Let's face it-when it comes to camping destinations, there are a myriad of places from which to choose. There are camp sites near mountains and camp sites near beaches. There are campgrounds that are best suited for hikers and campgrounds that are best equipped to handle bikers. Still, if you're planning to travel through the Midwest, you may find no finer camping facilities than Michigan state forest campgrounds. They are pet-friendly, family-friendly, and definitely couple-friendly. In fact, the hospitality alone may keep you coming back for vacation years on down the line.

Michigan state forest campgrounds are certainly extensive, since there are more than 140 such campgrounds in the Wolverine state. Surf the Internet, and you'll discover Michigan state forest campgrounds located all along the state's northern Lower Peninsula and Upper Peninsula. In fact, Michigan state forest campgrounds cover just about four million acres of state forest land.

The Michigan state forest campgrounds are situated on rivers or lakes, meaning that they are exceptional locations for boating and fishing. Many of these sites are also appropriate for hiking, horseback riding, biking, and bird watching. Other possible activities at these campgrounds include everything from cross-country skiing to mushroom hunting. Interestingly enough, some of the campsites are so isolated that they can only be accessed by hiking through the woods or rowing down a riverway.

One lovely example of Michigan state forest campgrounds is Brimley State Park, which is located along Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay. At Brimley, you can enjoy boating, fishing, and hiking along the scenic waterway. While hunting is banned at Brimley, it is permissible nearby-an area rich in deer, bears, and grouse.

Another Michigan campground worth exploring is Lime Island State Forest. There, you can choose from tent camping or cottage living, depending on your personal preferences. In order to get to the island, you have to charter a boat across St. Mary's River. Also, because Lime Island is home to black bears, you need to be careful to secure your food. While pets are permitted on the island, they are not allowed in campground buildings. Among the activities you can enjoy on Lime Island are fishing, hiking, and sunbathing.

You might also consider Highland Recreation Area as a possible camping destination in Michigan. It includes nearly 6,000 acres of forestland, marshes, and lakes in the southern part of the state-an area known for its hilly landscape. The site is appropriate for hiking, skiing, horseback riding, fishing, boating, and mountain biking. While there, you can also enjoy swimming, picnicking, and volleyball.

Your Guide To Southern California Rv Camping

If you think of the skyscrapers of LA or the Hollywood sign when you think of Southern California, then you need to think again. While Los Angeles is definitely a must see draw to the area, and the possibility of glimpsing the most recent Hollywood starlet tantalizes the masses of people who throng Sunset Boulevard, there is far more to Southern California than the big city. Southern California RV camping is also something that brings many people to the Sunshine State. And, like fine wines and movies, RVing is something that California does like no other place on Earth.

If you are thinking about coming to experience what Southern California RV camping has to offer, then there are some things that you should know and some things you should make decisions on before you leave. The first thing you need to do is make a decision about where you want to go: the coast, the city, or a nature park, or maybe even Disney Land. Or maybe you have some where else in particular. But you need to decide where you are going so that you can make arrangements about where you want to stay.

If you are unsure about where exactly you want to go, but know that you just want to do some Southern California RV camping, then you might consider some of the following places. For a good beach campground, Carpinteria, Malibu Creek, Point Mugu, and Refugio are hard to beat with their combination of full service beachside towns and awesome surf. On the other hand, you might try Anaheim and Disney Land, which is a very popular destination for families. Disney has set up a full service campground to serve the park. Southern California RV camping is also a very good way to explore the great outdoors. Parks such as Joshua Tree and Torrey Pines demonstrate the diversity of California's outdoor landscapes.

Once you have decided where you want to go, you should start thinking about when. During the summer months, pretty much all of Southern California's campground can be very packed, so you will want to book ahead. Southern California RV camping can be a lot of fun, but also a large headache if not planned ahead enough. The most popular beaches can fill up months in advance: so plan accordingly.

California is also notorious for its freeways, and navigating them with a large RV can be an interesting experience. The coastal highways, especially, can be bumper to bumper for miles during the summer during peak hours, so, if at all possible, try to schedule your arrival and departure times from campgrounds around rush hour traffic. It is better to sit on the beach, in a museum, or in a cafe than in traffic.

Where To Find And How To Get The Best Recreation Vehicles For Sale

It can be difficult to know where to start when looking at recreation vehicles for sale. Where is a good place to buy? Should you buy new or used? There are some simple steps to follow to sift through the recreation vehicles for sale near you to get the best deal for your money.

First, when you are looking at a used RV, take a checklist of things to examine. As RVs can be subject to dry rot, it is wise to make sure that any used RV you are considering does not have it, by looking for loose screws that don't tighten, or any buckling or bubbling in the exterior panels. Other things to check include the roof lining and the lights, etc. Open all the cupboards and drawers and make sure everything is safe and sound. Many used recreation vehicles for sale have minor or major problems, some of which their owners may not be so keen on revealing to you. A good inspection before purchasing will save you time and money in the long-run.

If you are going to buy a new RV, you should know that almost all of the ones on the lot can be bargained for. In fact, most recreation vehicles for sale have been marked up as much as 40%, so there is definitely a little wriggle room in the pricing. Another thing to avoid is buying a dead brand RV. Dead, or "orphan," RV brands are those that have been discontinued. This may mean a large savings up front on the purchase price, but down the road will cost a premium to track down repair parts. Another thing to consider about buying an RV is dealer coverage. Each brand of RV has a differing level of national repair shop coverage. If your dealer doesn't have a location near to you, then it can get expensive travelling to and from the garage for repairs. Choose from the recreation vehicles for sale that have a wide national repair coverage.

Two final things to consider when you are purchasing your RV: resale and most likely use. If you plan to resale your RV at some point in the future, remember to steer clear of close-out models, such as those with older style layouts-such as only one bathroom, through the bedroom-or from a dead brand, because future buyers likely will shy away from them. And, keep in mind what you are going to use your RV for. If you plan to tour the country, get a model that rates highly for highway dependability. But if you are going to spend most of the time lounging around a campsite, get one with the layout best suited to your style of relaxation.

Winter Rv Camping The Right Way

If you think that the only time you can enjoy your family's RV is during the summer, you are wrong. Unlike what most people would believe, winter RV camping is becoming more and more popular, due to many things, not the least of which is the increasing crowds that overflow campgrounds during the summer. Winter RV camping is just one way to avoid the hassle of a million people packed into a single space, and get a bit closer to the great outdoors. And, with the proper planning and correct equipment, it is easier than you might think.

Successful winter RV camping begins with the proper RV. For the best results, people who go winter RV camping should opt for a smaller RV, which is easier to heat than one of the massive 45' behemoths. It is also easier to get into a campground on sometime slick winter roads with a truck and trailer or a truck and camper or camper shell than with a large motorhome. Just keep in mind the logistics of your trip when you are considering going. As in all things, be practical.

Some RVs have been designed especially for colder temperatures. These models have denser insulation to protect them from frigid winds and freezing nights. If you are planning a winter RV camping trip to a place with extremely cold winters, it would be wise to have the right equipment. Again, be practical.

Hand in hand with the right recreation vehicle for winter RV camping is the right RV accessory. Many campgrounds that offer hook-ups during the summer do not offer them during the winter. So, if you RV relies on electricity for heating, you will need to get a generator to supply it with enough juice to keep you warm. Do some research on available generator models, as some will function more or less efficiently-or not at all-at certain temperatures. Get one that suits the needs of your trip.

Another thing to keep in mind is what to pack. You will of course want to pack the proper sort of clothing. Snow boots, snow clothes, sleds, and all the trappings should be included in your store of equipment. If you are planning to do any trekking, bring two pairs of shoes so that you can alternate between them to allow them to dry out.

And, one last word of caution. If you are going to take a winter RV camping trip, pack enough food to last for a week or so longer than you plan to stay. You never know if a freak winter storm will blow in and leave you snowed in for several days longer than you expected. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Save A Bundle Buying Used Recreation Vehicles

RVs are the hottest thing on the market with people who want to get away when they want, without the hassle of reserving a hotel room. They bring a bit civilization to the outdoors. But the cost of a new RV can be prohibitive for some people. Which is why more and more used recreation vehicles are being sold today. And while it is true that if you get a good used RV, buying one of the many used recreation vehicles with problems will cost you no end of money or headaches. Before you go out to look, there are some things you can know to avoid the lemons.

Used recreation vehicles come in all shapes and sizes. You'll be able to find all classes of motorhomes, a wide array of campers and boats, and both hitch and fifth wheel trailers. The thing that you have to remember about RVs is that once a new RV is driven off the lot, it becomes a used one. So, even if used recreation vehicles only have 100 miles on them, and no problems, they are worth considerably less than a new RV of the same make. This works to your advantage as a buyer.

When you are looking at used recreation vehicles, there are some things that you need to keep in mind. First, try to get a VIN history done for the vehicle. This service is done free on many websites, so if you've got the time to do it, do so. You can find out about any problems that the car has had if the mechanic who did the work reported the VIN. This can aid you in deciding whether or not used recreation vehicles are lemons. No matter if you buy your used RV from a dealer or from a private party, inspect it thoroughly. Bear in mind, though, that buying from a dealer may give you some options about getting repairs done. Private parties tend to sell things as is, so if you discover rot that was not apparent when you bought it, it is your money that will have to repair it.

When you are looking at used recreation vehicles, inspect the outer shell thoroughly. Look for any buckles or cracks. If you see any, odds are that there is some rot underneath. Check the roof the same way. In the interior, check all the cabinets, the fridge, and everything just as thoroughly as the exterior. Turn over the sofa cushions too.

Finally, some people choose to buy an extended warranty when they buy a used RV. This may or may not be the option for you. But it does offer a peace of mind, if for a price.

Gone Camping: Your Guide To The Best That A Campground Can Offer

If you've never been camping before, you're in for a real treat. The right campground can provide you with an amazing vacation experience. In addition to getting in touch with nature, a campground can help to promote family harmony and actually strengthen the marital bond. Camping is a communal experience which is meant to be shared with family and friends. Therefore, it's the perfect opportunity to solidify the most important relationships in your life.

But how do you go about finding the perfect campground? Admittedly, it may take some effort on your part. For instance, you may want to consult trusted friends and colleagues to find out about a campground that they particularly enjoyed. In addition, you might want to explore the Internet for an array of camping possibilities. Just be aware of the fact that not all campground websites are created equal. Some are simply more authoritative sources than others. In other words, there are some sites you can trust, and others that you should simply ignore.

You should also be aware of the fact that there are, generally speaking, two categories of campgrounds: private and public. RV parks and camping resorts owned by individuals or businesses are examples of private campgrounds. In contrast, public campgrounds belong to the government and consist of national parks, state parks, and bureau of land management areas. Which type of campsite you ultimately select, public or private, really depends upon your own individual tastes.

You can find out more about national parks through the website known as Park Net. Meanwhile, a site called Reserve USA will provide you with information about the Forest Service and Army Corps of Engineers. Interestingly enough, L.L. Bean offers its own directory of state parks.

When it comes to exploring camping websites, it's highly important that you read the fine print. In other words, you need to know such things as whether the site offers laundry facilities, electrical hook-ups, and sewer service. You'll also want to find out whether the site is close to supermarkets and other shopping venues. In addition, you need to find out how close the park happens to be to amusement parks and other attractions.
Before you begin your camping adventure, you'll want to prepare a list of the things you'll need to take with you. The last thing you'll want to do is to make dozen of trips to the store to replenish your supplies during your camping trip. With careful planning, you should be able to amass all the equipment you need to make your camping vacation a pleasant experience for the entire family.

Campgrounds Ontario: A Marvelous Way To Explore Canadian Country

For many Americans, Canada remains unchartered territory-a mysterious northern land which has not been fully explored. Yet, wishing for the opportunity to drive to their vacation destination rather than fly, many U.S. citizens are finding that the country up north offers tremendous vacation potential. This is certainly true of campgrounds Ontario, which offer a colorful mix of scenic beauty and exciting recreational opportunities.

If you're considering a trip to campgrounds Ontario, you might at first be overwhelmed by all the possibilities. It is true that the province offers a wide variety of camping sites from which to choose. If you're particularly interested in aquatic life, you might consider the Big Water Campground, which is known for its magnificent lake. The campground also features sandy beaches, a vast array of wildlife, and plenty of fishing opportunities. The campground sits on 200 acres of mature natural forest, making it quite visually appealing, and is located ten minutes from Timmins.

Another intriguing possibility as far as campgrounds Ontario are concerned is Cameron's Beach Trailer Park. This sandy beach is open from May 15 to September 15 and is located on Big Nellie Lake. The park is also convenient to a number of fascinating attractions, including the Polar Bear Express and the Gold Mine Tour.

Also included among campgrounds Ontario is Parc Sutton Bay Park, which is located on the enchanting Lake Temiskaming. The park is also only minutes away from shopping facilities, golf courses, and hospitals. Therefore, it's the type of getaway that does not take you too far away from the rest of civilization.

Yet another vacation destination for those who want to explore campgrounds Ontario is Campers Grove. This site is situated three kilometers east of Wheatley. In addition to camping cabins, Campers Grove offers plenty of planned activities to keep you busy on your vacation.

When visiting campgrounds Ontario, there are a few things you should know in order to keep yourself safe. For instance, Canada is not immune to tornadoes, and lightning remains a danger during Canadian thunderstorms. Therefore, it's important that you pay close attention to weather forecasts during your vacation. You can listen to the latest weather news on Environment Canada's Weatheradio broadcasts, which transmit weather bulletins on VHF-FM frequencies. Also, be sure to determine what kind of shelter is available in case dangerous weather strikes.

The campgrounds of Ontario are certainly memorable places to spend a vacation. Through careful planning and attention to detail, you can map out an RV vacation that will be relaxing as well as entertaining for your entire family.

How To Stay A Happy Camper On Your Favorite Campgrounds

We all want our camping experiences to be the best they possibly can be. But what many of us don't realize is that enjoyable camping adventures take a great deal of planning and effort. In other words, you'll need to engage in some effective long-term strategy sessions in order to ensure that your camping vacation at your favorite campgrounds is as enjoyable as possible.

Part of the secret to having a good time at the campgrounds is to be considerate of other campers. This means regularly disposing of the trash around your campsite. If you leave the campgrounds messy, you'll also be leaving the campsite with a negative reputation. In addition, during quiet hours, be sure to stop running your generator and refrain from playing your television. Otherwise, you run the risk of alienating your fellow campers. When it comes to camping at night, a quiet camper is often a happy camper.

It's also bad form to walk through restricted areas of the campgrounds. In other words, don't invade someone else's personal space. It's considered rude to walk through another family's campsite. It's also unnecessary, since most campgrounds have designated areas for foot traffic. Also, resist the temptation to speed through the campgrounds. Running a car at excessive speeds can be dangerous-particularly when there are children around.

It's also a bad idea to attempt to wash dishes at a drinking fountain. Instead, you should wash plates at your campsite using a plastic wash basin and biodegradable soap. Similarly, you should not attempt to gather firewood from the campgrounds. Instead, bring your own or buy it at a store.

While many campgrounds do cater to children and pets, it's important that you do not allow your brood to wander through the campsite unattended. Make sure that your children act respectfully toward other campers and their property, and keep your pets leashed. Otherwise, you could be contributing to campsite chaos.

In order to be a successful camper, you should also plan out a workable itinerary. Have some idea which attractions you'd like to visit and when. While your travel plans should have some type of structure, you should also build in a certain amount of flexibility. That way, you'll have a suitable plan to work from, without feeling unnecessarily confined.

You should also talk to your family in-depth about your camping plans before you hit the road. You want to ensure that everyone has realistic expectations at the very start of your vacation. That way, you minimize the risk that anyone in your clan will be disappointed.

Rv Camping Suppliers: Only The Essentials

It's really amazing how many different types of lanterns are released by RV camping suppliers to market every year. Gas, incandescent, LCD, fluorescent: there are so many different types, it gets confusing. And that's only for lanterns! The rest of RV camping suppliers all have just as many different iterations and variations, and new things are coming out all the time. What's a RV owner to do?

The simple answer is simplicity. Take what you need from the RV camping suppliers available and nothing more. There are certain devices and appliances that can really make a vacation more pleasurable, and these are good things to add to your RV. The rest of it you can leave for your gotta-have-it-all-neighbor who never seems to get down to enjoying his vacations.

A first thing to consider adding to your stock from RV camping suppliers is a Satellite dish. Because, as is obvious, there are certain things that you don't want to get away from when you are getting away from it all: things like your favorite TV show. Satellite TV for your RV keeps you connected to your shows while you're away in the woods or on the road.

You also should have an awning installed on your RV. Of all the RV camping suppliers available, those stocking awnings are probably the most useful. They provide a bit of respite from the summer sun at the beach, and a cool shady spot from which to enjoy mountain breezes. Every camping trip is improved by an awning-and while you're at it, get a turf mat or carpet to put underneath it.

Because it is inevitable that people get lost in strange places, and you, in spite of your best efforts, will be one of those people eventually, you should invest in a GPS system for your RV. Not only do these lovely devices make getting there all that much easier, they also give better directions that 17 year old attendants at gas stations. Save yourself the trouble of asking for help: get it in advance.

You might also consider some LED outdoor lights. These consume almost no energy and have long lasting bulbs: a perfect choice for low maintenance RVing.

These are some of the most basic items available from RV camping suppliers, and only the most basic. If you are going for a specific type of RVing trip, you will want to look into what's needed for it in particular. But, whatever type of trip you do take, remember the golden rule is to take only what you're going to use, and always what you are going to use. Excess backage means excess work, but lack of supplies means even more trouble.
