Going out for a meal with friends is one of the great joys of life. And there is no shortage of restaurants close to our Campus Edge Raleigh apartments from which to choose from for any number of wonderful meals.

If you ask people who are familiar with the area about the best local restaurants, one name that will come up time and again is “Laziz Biryani Corner.”

Laziz Biryani Corner specializes in both Indian and Pakistani cuisine. There is a wide selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on the menu, and the prices are all very reasonable. If you are not familiar with this style of cuisine, here is one tip: everything you can order at Laziz Biryani Corner is good.

Here is another tip: try the lunch buffet during the week or the dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday to sample some of their best dishes and see what you like best.

Halloween Fun Near Your Raleigh Apartment

“Raleigh Living Dead” is the first large scale public Halloween event in Raleigh, and it's located near your Raleigh apartments.

How does this sound for Halloween weekend: dressing up like a zombie, joining a huge crowd of fellow zombies in the middle of downtown Raleigh, enjoying awesome beer (for those over 21) and food, watching live music and a “ReDress the Dead” fashion show, watching (and maybe participating in) a massive flash mob dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, and watching zombie street performers and live music?

I think we can objectively say that it sound pretty amazing. Well, you can take part in this sure to be incredibly fun Halloween festival on Saturday, October 27^th from 4 through 11 pm. “Raleigh Living Dead” is apparently the first large scale public Halloween event in Raleigh, and is highly recommended for anyone at our Raleigh apartments looking for fun things to do for Halloween?

You can get a discount “College Zombie” pass for the festival, and print out the receipt to trade in for your wristband on the 27^th. What part of “Raleigh Living Dead” are you most looking forward to?
