External demand for the euro plunged in April as investors from the monetary union purchased foreign securities. Data coming from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission shows that speculators increased their net short position in the euro by 4,861 contracts to 61,261 contracts.

The European Central Bank would welcome a continuation of current-account shifts that alleviates some of the upward pressure on the single currency.

European PMI prints slowed for the second month in a row - notably in France while US PMI continues to expand at a robust pace, contributing to make the euro a little soggier today.

Technically speaking, if 1.3625/30 area can’t hold the Euro, 1.3670 is the key resistance level (just few pips below the 200-day moving average and near recent highs). Bears must twiddle their thumbs until we get 1.3500 in play again.

Broadly speaking, I wouldn’t put too much faith in a directional bias in a week where not much is going to happen.

Berdasarkan catatan Investor Daily, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) tengah memproses rencana IPO tujuh perusahaan. IPO akan digelar pada semester I- 2014. Jika tujuh perusahaan itu listing pada semester I, berarti jumlah emiten di BEI akan mencapai 501 perusahaan. Khusus selama semester I-2014 saja terdapat 17 emiten baru.

Tujuh calon emiten itu adalah PT Dwi Aneka Jaya Kemasindo, PT Link Net, PT Magna Finance, PT Chitose International Manufacturing, PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional, PT Sitara Propertindo, dan PT Blue Bird. Dwi Aneka Jaya Kemasindo berencana melepas 1 miliar saham, Link Net 304,26 juta saham, Magna Finance 7 miliar saham, Chitose International 300 juta saham, dan Blue Bird akan melepas 531,4 juta saham. BEI tahun ini menargetkan tambahan 30 emiten baru. Target itu sama dengan tahun sebelumnya. Tahun lalu, realisasi emiten baru melebihi target, yakni mencapai 31 perusahaan.

Nilai tersebut sekitar tiga kali lipat dibandingkan indeks investasi MSCI World (global) yang rata-rata US$ 152,88.

Reflecting on the experience of traders who never harmed by the misdeeds of the broker, it's been no question how important choosing the right broker. Of various types and kinds of brokers are available , you should already know which broker is right the right to run your transactions as well as good or even outsmart.

In this regard, the latter being crowded chaotic debate that could have been said any broker clicking "MC (Margin Call)" right of their traders, especially tuh local broker whose name is so hated ? Okay, Let me be clear, fair and equal - equally tasty this time we will try to unpack and review any bad habits the broker either inside or outside the country that they may have done to their traders.

Brokers and Contradictions

Previously, I would like to emphasize again that the financial markets all parties involved vying for profit, either traders or brokers. If the trader to benefit from the value of profit, then the broker through the service they provide is typically benefit from the value spread and fees charged to their clients.

Without it impossible for any broker to stay afloat and can provide the best service to their traders. As the saying goes " measure price indicates quality " differs from most advertising marketing, if you are indeed looking for quality and comfort it is only logical that there is a cost that should you spend accordingly .

It should be underlined if the broker gives you a well paced facility with a very cheap price you should rethink where they will benefit ? Except traders cheated them.

Old habits brokers to traders them

Some things look so easy but sometimes even too dangerous because it does not comply with safety standards should set. Where the value of bonuses that you will get not comparable with the value that you will suffer losses.

With an aim to educate traders, especially Indonesian traders to be more aware in choosing a broker anymore either within or outside the country then for more details, let us look bad habits brokers in traders deceive them :

Promoting trade as a quick way to get rich without notifying risk

Remember how the brokers trading incessant waving - lure you with a big profit ? I could generate more than $ 5000 in one minute ! Written in an ad trading. Wait , is that true ? Of course it is true but it is also a tempting bait for beginners who do not know the risks.

Despite the huge profits, it should be understood that there is also another major disadvantage. There is no easy way to get money this financial field, you do not understand the risks as well.

But unfortunately not many brokers who provide " warning " of the importance of this case, with only emphasizes the value of a profit to their traders. If the facts showed 95 % of traders initially been doomed to failure, you try to think back to whether this is a quick way to become rich ?

Broker broker as this is usually only displays testimonials / statements of the successful trader with the chart view is too high and does not make sense.

Convince traders with huge profits with minimal capital even though

Have we ever thought why the brokers vying minimize deposit for opening an account for traders ? Yet we know trading as well as a business and investment requires substantial capital ?

Given the risks are great, at first we know that the financial sector is only reserved for professionals or for those people - the rich alone.

However, to attract more interest again, it is often misused by marketing most of the brokers who make false and misleading statements.

That with the use of minimal capital ( micro account ) even if the traders can earn huge profits and become rich.

Just like a business or investment that requires considerable capital, trading not necessarily fit into all walks of life. Especially those with minimal capital and knowledge.

If given the minimal use of capital to micro lots then what is the difference between the world of trading and gambling ? Try to ask again what kind of business and investments that do not require large capital ? Exception of gambling.

Offers low with various bonuses

Believe it or not , there are times when you need to override the low transaction costs for trading broker prefers safer, spread value that looks small, high leverage ratio, welcome depot and various other bonuses that will certainly make them a less well know world trade will easily persuaded.

If we examine back normally spreads offered by brokers average - average between 3 to 5 pips. However, if the broker is offering a fixed spread 1 or even 0 points, then it should be a big question mark, because even though the actual circumstances are constantly changing conditions pasarpun spread change.

Note also that high leverage up to 1:1000 which also gives greater the risk of belonging to the traders. Through the lure - the lure , the broker is only a matter of time until they can outsmart the transactions made and makes the traders who play in it affected the MC.

Even without much effort due to the fact that more than 95 % of new traders has been doomed to failure !

Hostile to professional traders

Most brokers - brokers will be more problematic targeting and targeting beginners who have enough experience and only oriented towards profit. Especially those who have little capital but expect big profits.

Because if the professionals play on the broker , this course will prevent them to gain more profit. And to prevent this then the broker will use a variety of ways.

Start of prohibiting certain trading techniques, often lead to outsmart chart with requotes or slippage, and hold the funds complicate the professional traders who want to do wd or even unilaterally decide their orders.

If there are still professional traders who continue to make a profit, then the broker will seek death - death to restrain the rate of profit that can be generated by these professional traders, and eventually making them reluctant to play again at the same broker.

Define your preferred broker carefully

Looking for a reliable broker is an important thing that you should note from the outset. If you are indeed looking for traders who like the convenience of professionals then there are times when you need to override a low cost versatile to prefer the broker who can provide you the facility.

Pay attention to the balance between the safety and comfort that can be obtained with a much lower cost and not even comparable.

Every trader must want to be able to do transactions clear and transparent markets that allow them to feel safe and comfortable. Moreover, the professionals who want to use a variety of skills and techniques they have mastered trading without feeling restricted.

Just as you can get through Askap Social, where you can use all of the features that you might not be able to use on certain types of brokers (such as pending orders , or apply a trailing stop EA ) and free use of all profitable trading techniques without feeling restricted, cheated because all you are doing transaction history will be displayed with a clear and transparent.

There are about more than 7 billion people on this earth who come from diverse ethnic, ancestry, and cultural backgrounds. The diversity of each individual is formed with distinctive features and uniqueness of each with the attitude and character of different talents. There are individuals who are aggressive, others are calm and relaxed or even nothing to be anxious when faced with a problematic.

Likewise with the characteristics of a trader in the trade. Of the many traders who enliven the financial markets, each trader would have the attitudes, characteristics and talents each in response to market movements.

Every trader has their talents-each !

It should be understood that the unique personality characteristics, we can determine how we trade, which certainly will never be the same between each other.

You may be accustomed to playing aggressively where other traders play with a more relaxed or perhaps very careful to define each step he took forward.

Some are choosing to take advantage of trading with only small per transaction every time they do as long as it is free from the risk of large, where there are some who do not mind losing a few percent of their capital to earn a greater profit targets.

However, it does not mean that you are playing aggressive is wrong and can not produce a better return than those who trade more relaxed or trading with care.

Remember everyone has different abilities and talents-different, the rest is just how you can make the best possible .

Characteristics and style of each trader

Most important point is how your trading characteristics that brings the best way for you to make a profit in it. Here are some of the characteristics of the traders who determined their attitudes and actions in response to market movements that can certainly help you to find the trading style such as the characteristics and suitable for you if :

Scalping

If you are a very active, your hands itch and never mind where but just think of the chart, repeatedly attempted transactions per day, a dozen or even dozens of positions, then you can be said to belong to the category of a scalper. Even with the advantage of only 5 to 15 pips but the number of transactions that a lot of the gains are a scalper can be quite large as well.

Day Trading

You choose to play with a strict risk calculations and very careful, seeking momentum effect that a balance of both technical analysis or fundamental and can not sleep well because they have an open position, it seems like you are more suited to be a day trader. Position open in the morning and close in the afternoon. Traders like this usually are very speculative capital gains by finding a large enough difference between the price movements.

Swing Trading / Long - term trader

Your character is a man who is quiet, is not affected by the number of outstanding issues and opinions and would rather target the long-term benefits to the price to be in the best position , then nothing else you are gifted to be a swing trader or position trader. The swingers can only do hold their positions for days, weeks or even months to find the ideal position.

You can be the best !

No matter what style and trading style you use, you must make sure that it is really you and you are comfortable in using it.

By knowing how the characteristics and trading style you have, you can certainly see how your strengths and weaknesses by not imposing the same trading style does not suit you.

You may feel jealous seeing how professional traders can generate profits crazy late, but that you should know is how they trade with their respective styles which of course makes them comfortable in it. They can be a great success and after going through various processes where you can learn with them how they do it.

GBP / USD
Offer high liquidity and tight spreads, this pair is influenced by economic indicators from the UK, USA and around the world.

Interesting facts

GBP/USD (who has the nickname 'cable') is the amount of USD that can be purchased with one British pound. GBP pegged to the U.S. dollar in 1940 and became part of the Bretton Woods system which governed the exchange of post-war, and the collapse of the pound into free-floating system in 1971. Historically, the British pound and the U.S. dollar has become a major tool in which many other countries have their currencies appreciated.

Price drivers

The British Pound is influenced by various factors, both domestically and internationally. Domestically, GBP influenced by economic indicators that provide insight into the health of the UK economy, including interest rates and quantitative easing ( both determined by the Bank of England ), GDP growth, inflation and labor market data. In addition, the British pound may be influenced by the prices of some base metals, oil and other commodities. USD can be influenced by labor market data (especially in the results NFP and unemployment), GDP and inflation data and the Fed's interest rate. Lately, quantitative easing, or the possibility, by the Fed and the idea that the safe-haven U.S. dollar may have factored into the decision of investors when trading USD.

Lower interest rates encourage people to spend, not save. But when interest rates can go no lower, the only option is for the central banks to pump money into the economy directly. It is quantitative easing (QE ).

How central banks do this is by buying assets - usually government bonds - using money that was created out of thin air.

Such institutions sell bonds (either commercial banks or other financial businesses such as insurance companies) it will have a " new " money in their accounts, which then increases the money supply.
Tried first by the central bank in Japan out of deflation period after the collapse of the asset bubble in the 1990s.

Before 2009, QE has never been tried before in the UK. Destination America makes quantitative easing is to lower the interest rate of credit to people and corporations or other business entities can obtain a loan with an affordable interest rate. QE is expected to stimulate the American economy.
candlestick

UK GDP growth was driven by an increase in consumer spending

President Barack Obama will have a stronger hand to push through environmental, and other financial regulations after the Senate voted to allow a simple majority to confirm most of the presidential candidates.

Rule change yesterday means that Obama does not need Republican support to win approval of its nominees to run federal agencies and serve federal trial and appellate courts. There are 231 Obama nominees pending in the Senate, including 53 judges, 81 candidates for the Cabinet-level agencies and 13 independent regulatory agencies, according to figures provided by the White House.

Most importantly, in many ways, are selections to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, which deals with the challenges to federal regulations and is called the second highest court in the land.

"Under any administration, federal agencies seeking to implement the president's policies by developing regulations," said Jeff Holmstead, an attorney for Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Washington who has represented utilities - heavy carbon. "But in most cases, the DC Circuit judges are the people who decide whether these rules comply with federal law."

Among the cases that are submitted to the court is one of the rules "net neutrality" of the Federal Communications Commission to require Internet service providers such as Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) and Comcast Corp. to treat all traffic itself a target of Google Inc. (GOOG ) and Netflix Inc. (NFLX)

three vacancies.

The court - which has three vacancies and where Republicans now have an advantage - probably also rule on the government's proposal to limit carbon dioxide pollution from power plants. These standards are being developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection now, and may not be ripe for a legal challenge over a year.

Pound ignore reports weaker than expected Retail Sales yesterday and continued to appreciate against most of the majors as a reaction to Wednesday 's hawkish Bank of England Quarterly Inflation Report. Office for National Statistics reported that retail sales dropped -0.7 % in October, compared with the month's forecast of stagnation. The ONS said that the fall / winter clothing sales were affected by unseasonably warm weather, while analysts commented that UK households will not be able to keep the current level of consumer spending due to rising inflation and the rate of wage growth softness at this time.

EURO

The euro was down about half a percent against the euro yesterday as the euro zone growth came at 0.1 % for the third quarter, down from 0.3 % in Q2. Soft GDP figures supported by depressed growth in Germany only 0.3 % and a quarterly contraction of -0.1 % in the second biggest economy in the region, France.

With growth prospects across the 17-nation bloc seemed pretty dim, falling consumer price threatens to bring about nasty deflationary spiral and the European Central Bank sounded more dovish than previously, this does not look good for the single currency at the moment. With the Federal Reserve's bond-buying program is set to expire at some point in the horizon, the Euro may lose some of the pseudo - safe haven and this could lead to stronger Sterling against the Euro exchange rate.

U.S. Dollar

The pound strengthened against the U.S. dollar by about half a percent yesterday as the incoming Chairman of the Federal Reserve Janet Yellen expressed a desire to maintain the monetary stimulus in place to help the U.S. economy is improving. Yellen said that it was " essential " that the U.S. labor market is improving, and mentions that the term unemployment can have an adverse affect on marriage and social cohesion, as well as on the economy. Soon - to-be president of the Fed said that positive month $ 85000000000 scheme currently outweigh the negatives, which hurt the ' greenback ' as it looks to reduce the possibility of QE3 which wound down quickly under his rule.

In other economic news reported that U.S. initial jobless claims fell by -2,000 last week, with an index print on 339 000. The results are most compatible with what the market had anticipated, and therefore have a limited impact on the dollar. A - $ 2800000000 widening U.S. trade balance to - $ 41800000000 have a more negative impact on the U.S. currency.

By getting down its expectations of U.S. consumers, making the movement of the U.S. dollar weakened against other currencies. On Friday the UK Statistics Office announced that the UK economy grew at its fastest pace for more than three years during the third quarter. Q3 printed at 0.8%, marking the acceleration of Q2 0.7%. This increase consisted of Services sector, Production, Agriculture and Manufacturing, and the UK economy grew 1.5% greater than a year ago.

Although Construction expanded to 2.5%, the service sector still plays an important role for the UK economy and the largest contributor to the development of the UK economy.

Interest rate markets advanced economies have generally increased at the beginning of the month before falling back after the FOMC announcement. Overall, nominal English next ten years the price of gold is almost 30 basis points lower on the month, with a small reduction in the rate of the U.S. and euro-area. Short-term market rates have also been falling. Overnight index swap rate implied that the Bank Rate is expected to rise by a full 25 basis points in June 2015. Median expectation of a Reuters survey of economists is that the first rise in Bank Rate will be in November 2015.

The Pound to US Dollar exchange rate swelled higher by over two cents last week as markets began to speculate that the Federal Reserve's prospective tapering of asset purchases will be delayed until the New Year.

GBP/USD opened at around 1.5980 last Monday and persisted at that level for the duration of the day. Direction for the currency pair remained absent on Tuesday as rumours of a deal to end the government shutdown boosted the 'Greenback' during the morning but as the talks collapsed during the evening, so did the US Dollar's rallies. In Britain it was reported that CPI inflation printed slightly higher-than-anticipated at 2.7% during September.

The Pound rose on Wednesday morning as UK Jobless Claims plummeted at their fastest rate since 1997. The -41,700 reduction in benefit claims was accompanied by a 155,000 increase in new jobs, however, the headline Unemployment Rate held steady at 7.7%.

The US Dollar received a temporary boost on Wednesday evening as US politicians finally agreed upon a deal to raise the debt ceiling and avoid falling off the fiscal cliff. However, these relief rallies proved fleeting and GBP/USD surged higher by around two cents to 1.6160 on Thursday as traders began to calculate the cost of the 16-day government shutdown. Analysts estimate that fourth quarter GDP will print -0.6% weaker due to the furlough of hundreds of thousands of Federal employees. The debt debacle also makes it a lot less likely that the Federal Reserve will opt to slowdown its asset purchasing programme before the year is out.

Sterling was supported by a stronger-than-expected UK Retail Sales print of 0.6% for September. GBP/USD continued to carve a higher top on Friday, reaching a 3-week high of 1.6224.

Direction for the cable pairing this week will be dictated by US taper speculation and UK growth output. Tomorrow sees the US Department of Labour release its highly influential Non-farm Payrolls report for September, which was postponed during the government shutdown. A score of 180,000 is predicted, which is likely to be taken as a neutral indicator, however, any deviations from the forecast could prove monumental in GBP/USD positioning. A stronger score could help bring taper talk back to the table, thus boosting the 'Greenback', whilst a softer result could put QE3 reduction rumours to bed and therefore dampen speculators' interest in the US Dollar.

The next key event is scheduled to take place on Friday in the form of the UK third quarter GDP print. It is expected to show an expansion of 0.8%, however, a more robust score cannot be ruled out. If UK Q3 GDP were to print at 1.0% then it is entirely possible that the Pound could strike a fresh 10-month high above 1.6300 against the US Dollar. <torfx>.</torfx>

Sterling got off to a good start yesterday as traders reacted to some better-than-expected labour market data. Although the headline Unemployment Rate remained at 7.7%, it was reported that 155,000 new jobs were created in the three months leading up to August and that the number of Jobless Claims shrunk by -41,700 – the most since 1997 – during September. The encouraging report shows that employment prospects are picking up, but it also proves that the projected decline in total Unemployment to the Bank of England's 7.0% threshold is likely to be a long slog.

Disappointingly, the labour market report also featured a lower-than-anticipated Average Weekly Earnings figure of 0.7%, severely lower than the CPI inflation rate of 2.7%, which means that real wages have now fallen to their lowest level since records began in 2001.

Although the United States remains entrenched in an unusual period of government shutdown, the Dollar managed to appreciate by just under half a cent against Sterling last week due to poor UK Manufacturing and Construction prints.

The Pound entered the week in strong form, rallying 0.8 cents from 1.6020 to 1.6100, as the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) reported that business sentiment jumped massively from 31.0 to a 17-year high of 53.0 in the third quarter.

Sterling stretched the US Dollar to a weekly high of 1.6124 on Tuesday as traders reacted to dark mutterings from White House officials appearing to confirm that Janet Yellen will replace Ben Bernanke at the helm of the world's most influential Central Bank next year. Yellen is seen as even more dovish than Bernanke and therefore she is expected to steer the US economy clear of choppy waters by prolonging the Federal Reserve's expansive asset purchasing scheme. Naturally, the prospect of additional monetary easing had a detrimental effect on demand for the Dollar.

The Pound tanked by just under -2.0 cents against the 'Greenback' on Wednesday as British GDP prospects were hurt by news that the UK Manufacturing Sector sunk to a shock monthly contraction of -1.2% in August, bringing the annualised score down to -0.2%. The downbeat data was accompanied by some worrying Trade Balance figures, showing that the deficit widened by £3.32 billion in August alone.

Sterling recovered slightly on Thursday, rallying back to 1.5980, as the Bank of England elected to leave interest rates unchanged at 0.50% and the level of quantitative easing unmoved at £375 billion. The US Dollar was also hurt by a rather stifling 6-month high Jobless Claims score of 374,000. The poor result, which was significantly higher than the previous weeks' 311,000, is likely to have been influenced by the government shutdown, meaning that the indicator should improve again when the budget debacle is finally over.

GBP/USD retreated again on Friday as UK Construction Output printed at -0.1%, compared to forecasts for a rise of +0.8%. The 'Greenback' was also buoyed by hopes that Republicans and Democrats could be on the verge of clinching a deal to raise the debt ceiling over the weekend…But alas the deal was not reached and the threat of the US government defaulting on its debt obligations returned, which sent the Pound back above 1.6000 when markets reopened for the week.

It is very difficult to predict the direction of GBP/USD this week owing to the uncertainty surrounding the debt ceiling: if policymakers agree on a deal at the eleventh hour, as is widely anticipated/hoped/prayed for, then the Dollar is likely to post a mild recovery against the Pound.

However, if the political impasse continues and the US government is forced to renege on its debt repayments then the tremors would be felt right across the financial spectrum: risk sentiment would dive, liquidity would freeze up and the US Dollar would likely plummet. This scenario is “unthinkable”, according to ECB President Mario Draghi, so perhaps it is best to focus on the more concrete elements of the economic calendar.

Strong UK jobs figures and Retail Sales results are likely to boost the Pound, but another downtick in CPI inflation to 2.6% could impact demand for UK gilts as speculators scale back their forecasts for the Bank of England's first interest rate hike. Overall the outlook for GBP/USD is extremely mixed, volatility is expected so it could be an idea to secure at least a portion of any trades you have in mind sooner rather than later to avoid any negative market movements.
To start investaor so how to start online forex trading the right way, there are a variety of currency trading strategies available to targeted marketnya. However, keep in mind in this strategy you get into the part where hedging or speculation.

Hedging

When a company sells goods or other assets, they are paid in the form of a country's currency to buy their products. But keep in mind that the currency may fluctuate.

Speculate

Most many investors decided to trade in foreign currency only for the purpose of speculation. Usually will face a higher risk than usual. Speculators in the currency markets to bet on the future value of the currency will move higher or lower relative to other currencies. In addition to individual investors, speculators in currency markets could include hedge funds, commercial banks, pension funds or investment banks. Currencies are traded in pairs, so that in any given transaction, traders are betting that one currency will rise, while the second value will fall.

Euro Unemployment fell in Germany - ECB to hold rates but Draghi 's comments could undermine the common currency.

GBP / USD at 9 -month high - U.S. Manufacturing provides a glimmer of hope.

RBA holds interest rate of 2.5 % - talks to the decline in interest rates in the future.

Markit released a report yesterday showed that UK manufacturing activity accelerated in the third quarter at the fastest pace for two - and -a - half years. Although the score of 56.7 in September from a little weaker than 57.1 in August, the report showed that growth Output and New Orders remain near 19 -year highs in August. PMI results showed that the production of goods will give a huge boost to UK GDP and bodes well for the future performance of Sterling. The only negative to come out of the report that Foreign exports did not rise as fast as could be expected, especially given that the UK's largest export market - the euro zone - have recently emerged from recession. <torfx></torfx>

Sterling surged higher against the U.S. dollar by 1.5 cents last week, hitting its highest level since January on concern the government shutdown in the U.S. continues to increase.

Opened last week near 1.6000, GBP / USD rose to 1.6040 on Monday as manufacturing activity in the world's biggest economy lost some momentum, with the PMI Manufacturing index fell to its lowest level 3 - 52.8 months. Print underwhelming affected by soft demand both domestically and from abroad.

Agitated traders took Pound to 1.5956 weekly lows against the 'Greenback' out Tuesday on Bank of England Deputy Governor Paul Tucker sounded somewhat dovish tone regarding the monetary policy, despite the fact that UK CPI inflation remained above the Bank's target of 2.0 % in each each 45 months.

Sterling surged higher by more than a percent on Wednesday as the latest CBI retail sales survey showed that consumer spending, which accounts for about 60 % of the UK economy, hitting the highest level for 15 months during September. The U.S. dollar hampered by a downward revision in July Durable Goods Orders print of -7.3 % to -8.1 % , which canceled the effects of better -than-expected scores slightly +0.1 % for August.

GBP/USD retreated to 1.6040 on Thursday, the UK 's annual GDP in the second quarter was revised down from 1.5 % to 1.3 % and the UK current account deficit has widened unexpectedly reported to - £ 13 billion. The 'Greenback' benefited from low morale 305,000 Initial Jobless Claims numbers, which bodes well for the U.S. job market.

The pound rose nearly a penny on Friday as BoE Governor Mark Carney commented that he does not expect to introduce more stimulus measures further at this point in time and the GBP / USD continue climbing when the market reopened for this week, touching a 9 month high of 1.6182 in response to fears of a government shutdown in the United States.

If the U.S. politicians can not agree on a budget then more than 700,000 federal employees will be sent home from work without pay on Tuesday . Analysts estimate that 2 week shutdown that would reduce U.S. GDP by about -0.3 % and 4 weeks of the closing will shave off about -1.3 %.

While the prospect of a government shutdown during the first 17 years seriously hamper demand for the 'Greenback', also threatens to shake - up the U.S. economic calendar : the biggest event risk this week is Non - farm payrolls on Friday, but the numbers will not be released during the federal termination. Sterling has the potential to break through the 1.6200 level later this week if Democrats and Republicans can not reach an agreement . However , even if a last minute deal is reached, GBP / USD could rally if the non-farm Payroll report, an estimated 180,000 prints, interpreted as too soft - for - pointed by the market.
